Avalon - Casino Ballroom(#20916RM)
This massive circular ballroom has been set-up to serve as the Main Plenary for AvalonCon, a fictional weekend long conference dedicated to the art and culture of Anime. It has been setup, at the moment, for the CosPlay Ball event.
As you walk in, the Special Guest tables are immediately visible (see +view), curving along the left side of the ballroom, each decorated with white cloth and glittering pink stars. Each table has a dedicated curtained-off space for taking photos, and is trimmed to honour the special guest located there.
The front of the room is dominated by a raised stage that is extended by a runway decorated with white cloth and trimmed with glittering stars, rainbows, and decals of famous anime characters from shows including Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Pokemon, Studio Ghibli, Gundam Wing, Ghost in the Shell, and more. Soon the much anticipated CosPlay Fashion Show will be underway.
A full-service bar located in the rear of the room provides refreshments for all ages, though you will be carded if you look young. Waiters dressed like French Maids bring a taste of the Maid Cafe experience --- they circulate the room with a variety of tasty hors d'oeuvres, all complimentary to those within the ballroom, presumably because they are in possession of a pass to the event.
On the right side of the room, a long bank of 12 ft. windows run the length of the far end of the room, providing striking views of Avalon Bay at night. The doors are open to the veranda outside.
Obvious Exits:
  Hallway <O>
Welcome to AvalonCon!!
Over a thousand devoted fans are gathered here, wearing their most impressive anime-themed cosplay and looking around excitedly, as they enjoy the refreshments, sights, and sounds. Thematic anime songs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVddPNSzjZI) stream throughout the venue, and the excitement in the air is palpable, as hundreds throng to show off their costumes, marvel at the creations of others present, and maybe catch a moment with one of the special guests present.
Svetlana Serova has been working the floor, one of the innumerous runners that have been keeping the convention center in one piece - from arranging janitorial services to preemptively head off the overrun in the toilets at the start of the convention, to wrangling various personalities and making sure they reach their speaking appointments on time. The runner all but blends into the background of the convention, given all of its out-of-this-world costumes. She's dressed mostly in neat, dark clothing, with the brief appearance of a neko headband to stand in for proper cosplay. The only attention-grabbing bit of her are her sharply contrasting orange nails and neon-puke-green fishnet leggings beneath an otherwise conservative skirt. She speaks occasionally into the earpiece that hangs from her head, and seems much more liable to delegate tasks than do any hard work herself.

Stepping into the convention looking much like a stark contrast to how he might normally be seen, Dalvin the Witcher sweeps into the place with a bright, eager smile worn on his features as he moves into the place. Considering his costume isn't exactly of an anime theme, he might stand out rather clearly, but he moves with a touch more pep in his step, then pauses and takes on a stoic expression, one hand moving to rest against his sword belt like a cop taking watch over a scene as he peeks around for the boothes with interest.

Dalvin - Geralt of Rivia
Diminutive in stature to the point of nearly quite nearly miniscule, this incredibly pale, youthful male stands just shy of five feet tall, looking to be roughly four feet, eleven inches or shorter, perhaps. To add to his slight frame, he possesses a lithe build, not revealing any great degree of atheticism, and looking like he could hardly weight one hundred pounds in total. Scraggly, wavy copper colored hair falls around his features, resting just above his shoulders in an often unkept manner. Pale blue eyes are surrounded by dark lashes, and framed by a debonair, slender facial structure with soft cheeks, and thin lips.

Wearing a white wig, his curly, scraggly red hair is tucked away neatly, concealed by the combed back, distinctive hair style he wears now. That, paired with a long scar painted in make up over his left eye, dragging down from his hair line, and curling down along his cheek bone makes, and the white, well groomed beard glued onto his cheeks and chin lend for the image of Geralt of Rivia. Similarly, he wears the dark brown leather armor with plastic chainmail mixed into the outfit, with a Witcher necklace dangling along his neck, and a pair of semi-realistic looking fake swords along his right hip.

Appearance: 4 (Cute)

. Triss widens her eyes when she first steps into the crowded ballroom, impressed by the throngs of people that have turned up. The albino girl is surprised by just how few eyes follow her as she steps inside. She hasn't dressed for the contest, though it could be easy to assume that she has. She wanders slowly among the displays and booths for the moment, trying to take it all in.

As the event kicks off, a man dressed, distinctively, as Goku from Dragon Ball Z takes to the stage and, with the energy of a motivational speaker, addresses the crowd in a musical voice, drawing their attention to him. "Good evening, all, and welcome to the AvalonCon Cosplay Ball! Let me be the first to welcome you wonderfully creative people to this very special event. I hope that you are all ready to enjoy an evening of fun and fantasy of the evening with each other, our local celebrities, and special guests."

Torgue wasn't sure what to expect when he was invited to an anime convention- though is now gladdened for his 'culture' lessons from his valet. Whom hasn't shown up quite yet. Torg's first steps into the space have him with mixed feelings. There's high hopes that he can pass mostly uninterrupted to the windows on the right and give a long look out at the view and see about if he wants to assume character or not.

This place is packed full of people and Spike wanders in from the outside, Willow at his side. He looks around the room for a moment at the lights, sounds, and sights of this place. A smile comes to his face as he leans over and whispers softly to his partner, clearly a bit overwhelmed at it all.

Her pink glowing badge hanging from her transparent belt, Kameshi is posing with some Pokemon Fans near Ken Sugimori, occasionally reciting the Oath in English, Japaneze, French, and even ASL for a deaf child. She didn't bring any pictures of herself, but does sign and even kiss almost anything, especially pictures, shirts, a cosplay calander, and Pokemon Cards.
Goku the Emcee continues speaking, providing a general guideline for how the evening is expected to proceed. “As the Cosplay Ball goes on, judges, marked by a red glowing badge, will be circulating around the Main Plenary, searching out the best of the best costumes to participate in the evening’s Cosplay Fashion Show. All entrants will be eligible to win prizes --- if you are wearing something extra special tonight, make sure to make yourself seen by the judges!”

Willow walks along beside Spike, stopping out of the flow of people to look around with a crooked grin. She reaches to take his hand and start tugging him into the throng of people moving along in clusters to head further into the room. She nods and starts to walk between groups of dressed up fans as she shrugs and says something back to him, lost in the near constant hum of chatter.

Sveta has strategically positioned herself just off stage by Goku. She's in the process of wrangling the follow-up acts, pointing and waving for various 'stand heres', and 'hurry up and wait's. She presses a finger to the earpiece lodged in her head and makes a face like someone's blowing raspberries into it, before rolling her eyes. "Nyet. Past the Cowboy Bebop merch, then to the right of the NOC. Yes. Yes. There. No, three of them. THREE. After two and before four, blyat!" She checks her clipboard and crosses a line off, muttering under her breath.

Angelica steps into the crowded area, her senses taking in all that the event has to offer. She keeps walking as she stops by the booths and immerses herself in the Anime

Mikael wanders through the door looking very different than usual. Tonight he is gender bending and dressed as a recognizeable tall young witch with a pale heart-shaped face and dark twinkling eyes - Nymphadora. Tonks is enthusiastic and bubbly with a quick bright smile for everyone. As a Metamorphmagus, she can change her appearance at will. Tonight she comes in at first with her hair shorter and a bright bubblegum-pink and wearing her trademark long black leather jacket. Around her neck she wears a black velvet collar with jingling bells on it. https://www.cityofhopemush.net/images/4/4e/MikNymphadora.jpg

Goku continues to speak to the crowd, as people mill about, more than a few pairs of eyes avidly seeking out the judges and their red glowing badges. “Our special guests tonight are very special indeed. First, let me express my sincerest gratitude to the event organizers, who have managed to bring none other than Pokemon artist Ken Sugimori for this special evening. Thank-you. So much.” The Emcee takes a moment. “I know that I do not want to miss the chance to visit his table and get my picture taken with this creative genius, who designed for us such iconic favourites as Snorlax, Lapras, Mewtwo, Ghastly, and more."

Spying Kameshi, Dalvin begins to step off for her, making his way in her direction with the same stoic expression painted on his features as he goes, though he does peek towards Goku as he provides his speech to the crowd.

Over at one of the Special Guest tables sits a blue haired woman in a cosplay of Chloe Price from Life is Strange. Her blue hair is something that comes with her wrestling gimmick, so it helps with her outfit. She's got the 3 bullets necklace, the skull tank top, the jeans and the boots. She even has a temporary tattoo of Chloe's tattoo sleeve on her right arm. She's dedicated to this cosplay. While not Anime, it is gaming, and people usually appreciate gaming cosplays. Also, around her neck along with the bullet necklace, is a pink badge to show she's a special guest.
At her table, there is a stack of 8x10s she's selling and signing for the fans at a cheap price! $5! The 8x10 is a classic image of her standing in freshly cut grass in front of the tail end of a trailer with white siding. Her pose is her wearing a grey tanktop that reads TRAILER PARK LEGEND, with her jeans and boots, and a cigarette hanging out of her mouth that she moves to bring a lit lighter too. She stands up from her seat and poses with one fan, who is wearing one of her tshirts: A white tee with a mock of a Surgeon General's Warning reading: SURGEON GENERAL'S WARNING: GUTTER TRASH CAUSES LUNG PUNCTURING, HEART PUNCHES, ENZIGUIRIS, AND MAY COMPLICATE PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING. The back has GUTTER TRASH in scratches font with little skulls separating the words.
As she poses with the fan, the two put an arm around each others shoulders while the fan holds up a camera. She looks up in it and makes a silly face, pulling down her eyes with her free hand and sticking her tongue out. For those that know her, or who are observing her at her table, she seems to make a different face with each selfie she takes. She shakes hands with the fan while the next one steps up.
Colombe - Sailor Mars
Colombe's presentation renders her breathtaking, inspiring allusions to celestial apparition or sonnets of ageless beauty. Fair-skinned and blue-eyed, at 5'11, she stands tall, her proud patrician lineage evident in her graceful bearing and delicate features: Grecian nose, sculpted cheekbones, and a slightly cleft chin.

She is unmistakably dressed as Sailor Mars from the iconic Sailor Moon animated series. Silky purple hair flows down her back, reaching well below her shapely behind. A golden v-band with a red jewel rests on her brow, and red star earrings dangle from her earlobes. Her sailor scout dress is accented with red, the curt length showcasing her long and shapely legs. Long white gloves are a must, as are hot red high heels.

While most people might not have expected Dom to show up at a convention in costume, that is precisely what he has done. As Shunsui Kyoraku he may not be portraying a character who everyone can name but the image is one recognized by more than a few. As a base he wears the traditional shinigami's shihakusho consisting of white shitagi, black kosode, black hakama and a white obi supporting a pair of Japanese swords. White tabi and waraji complete the basic look. Over this he wears a long white haori covered with a second haori in a bright pink floral print. Capping it all off he wears a wig pulled back into a ponytail displaying a pair of ornate hairpins beneath a straw sugegasa.

Colombe is walking around, quite busy as she seems to be constantly speaking quietly over her earpiece, and looking meticulously around the venue. She blends in, unmistakably dressed as Sailor Mars from the iconic Sailor Moon animated series.

Spike makes his way through the crowds, led by Willow. They pass various tables, stopping at some to see the art, or figures, or any of the other merch that is no doubt everywhere. The two continue to speak amongst themselves, content to wander around. The man does keep his eyes peeled for anyone he recognizes.

"I never was all that good at walking about in heels," the woman dressed up as Yoruichi from Bleach says, mild amazement in her tone as comes up from behind Colombe and matches the other woman's stride. "The place is hopping. Looks like this event is already shaping up to be a great success."

Ed - Yoruichi from Bleach
A young woman in her early to mid twenties, with lovely warm mahogany skin and stunning amber eyes that can only have been accomplished with the aid of coloured contacts. She stands at a height of 5 ft and her head is crowned with hair that has been dyed a darker shade of purple, tied back into a ponytail near the top of skull, with the longest strands reaching down to the middle of her back.
An off white scarf is tied around her neck, while her upper body is covered with an orange top that possesses a plunging neckline and sleeves that reach down to her elbows. While the V-neck is rather steep, decency is retained through the use of a secondary black shirt. There is a white strip of fabric around her middle and her legs are clothed in black tights. The ensemble is completed by white cloth that is bound around her forearms and held in place by purple ribbon. All and all, the young woman is managing a decent Cosplay of Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach. ( https://i.redd.it/zbyehynx14m11.jpg )
The gregarious Goku continues speaking to the crowd, carrying out his emcee duty. ”And our second special guest is equally as impressive. If I were not deathly afraid of Chi-Chi, I assure you that I would be doing everything in my power to earn her love. She is none other than famous Canadian voice actor Tara Strong --- best known for her voice work in cartoons, she has been given the nickname "The woman of a thousand voices", and it’s not hard to see why. If you are lucky, when you visit her, she may spin up some of them including Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls, Dil Pickles from the Rugrats animated series, Timmy Turner in The Fairly Oddparents, Raven from Teen Titans, Twilight Sparkle, and etc., etc., etc.!

Slowing as he approaches for Kameshi, likely spying the long line in front of her, Dalvin of Rivia, the Witcher halts and considers her briefly and then peeks around the rest of AvalonCon, taking in the sights for a moment. His attention then shifts, moving from each person that Goku introduces to the crowd at large as he stands with his hand 'ready to draw his sword' at a moments notice, posing proudly.

Mikael comes up behind Angelica and taps her on the shoulder, asking her in a singsong enchanting voice, "Come here often beautiful?"

"It is a difficult skill to master. And not recommended for prolonged periods." Colombe smiles warmly to the friendly Yoruichi. "I hope so. Success guarantees similar events in the future."

Vance ducks under various signage, being a really huge guy, as he makes his way in to the convention main room. He's dressed the part. Being indoors he takes off his commander's cap and tucks it under one arm as he looks around with a grin.

Yoruichi smiles at Colombe and lifts up a hand, rubbing at the bridge of her nose. She speaks quietly, voice lost in the general hub-bub for a bit. "Well, I expect that I will have fun. Never been to one of these things before." Yoruichi whispers “It's Ed, by the way. I considered coming as Ed from Cowboy Bebop, but that would have been a bit too on the nose.”

Angelica has a bag hanging on her arm as she looks at booths. She is about to move to the next one when she feels a tab on her shoulder. Angie hears the words and she smiles brightly as she turns to see the source of that beautiful voice "Ah Mikael!" She then throws her arms around him in a big bear hug

Dakota is coming along with Vance, much less dressed the part in the black jumsuit she currently has on. Pumping herself to keep up with her eyes a wander. "We ain't goign to get stuck in any lines are we?"

Her voice seeming to carry over everything without a mic, Kameshi aka KameHemolele, shouts, "Don't forget Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Cheetah, and Poison Ivy on Super Hero Girls and Benjamin Kirby Tennyson on every Ben 10 series ever!!! Tara ROCKS!!!" cause etcetera just doesn't do Tara justice. She then turns and begins doing another version of the Team Rocket Oath for someone.
Kameshi says something in a foreign language.

Triss pauses by one of the vendor booths, looking amused as she checks out a small statue of Godzilla knocking over a couple of buildings. She turns her attention away from the booth again as she hears members of the crowd calling out in response to the Goku MC. She wears an amused smile on her lips, looking around as she takes in the celebrities.

Goku further elaborates, preparing to wrap up. “And in all the excitement, don’t forget to allow yourself a little refreshment --- enjoy some of the tasty hor d’ouevres and visit the full-service bar for a drink. And please give a warm round of applause for our local celebrities who were able to make it out here tonight. We have the KameHemolele!” He indicates Kameshi, then Yulia. “As well as ScarletAria!” Finally, he indicates Terri. “And definitely do not miss Gutter Trash Terri Thompson who you may not recognize because she is looking rather more like Chloe Price from Life is Strange!” Letting that settle, he then concludes, "I wish everyone an amazing evening --- hopefully I will be seeing you on the runway."

At length, as they surf down the various tables Spike catches Colombe out of the corner of his eye and looks to Willow, pointing in Sailor Mars' direction. Leaning down, he whispers something to her.

Willow tilts her head a little to listen, then nods to whatever Spike says. She steps away from the booth she was checking out, letting him lead the way.

Colombe smiles warmly to the Yoruichi. "I would be remiss if I didn't admit this is also my first." Her eyes sparkle quietly. "Although I would never believe it of you; your costume is quite lovely."

The next fan who comes up to Terri's table pays for an 8x10. She asks how he wants it signed and she starts to sign it for him. The fan is dressed in a white t-shirt, that's a mockup of The Dead Kennedys' NAZI PUNKS FUCK OFF, except it reads BURIAL ARTISTS FUCK OFF with a shovel inside of a red circle with a line through it. Burial Artists suck indeed. The fan asks her 'who would you like to work with that you haven't already?' Terri raises her brow and then oos, "That's a good question. Hannah Kix. Definitely. She's got a lot about her and I think we could make magic happen." Kameshi says what she says, which causes Terri to look over and smirk. When her name is called by the man on stage, she waves her hand towards him and then does a little salute before she poses with the fan for a selfie. She makes a different face this time, fishhooking her own mouth with her right forefinger as her eyes turn towards him. She shakes his hand as they part and the next fan steps up.

Torgue remains off on the side. Having drunk in his view of the outside he turns to look over the ballroom, gaze sweeping over all the decorations, people, and displays. He doesn't move, yet. For now he's content to listen to the announcer and do his thing- people watching.

Well, you can't really act the part of Shunsui without a drink in hand. Actually, you can but then you have to spend most of your time looking for a drink. This is, of course, the primary reason that Dom makes his way to the bar. He's just staying in character. Really.

Yoruichi smiles and shrugs, looking rather embarrassed at the compliment. "Bit too self conscious about my appearance," she finally admits, followed by a few quieter words.

Set up at one of the Special Guest tables is a redheaded woman that some might recognize as the musical online personal ScarletAria. She's probably not known to many here as Yulia, but her cosplay costume might be recognizable to quite a few more. Clad in a short sleeve shirt, lavender skirt, and brown apron with Hyrulian on them, as well as the pointy elf-like ears and yellow scarf around her neck, Yulia's dressed as adult Malon from The Orcarina of Time. Sure, it's a video game and not an anime, but such crossover is fairly common at cons. She doesn't have much merch to sell at her booth, but she does have some t-shirts. She's also freely taking pictures with fans and offering autographs. And perhaps best of all, she's brought a couple of instruments, including a guitar and, of course, an orcarina.

Certainly, Dalvin of Rivia tries at putting up the front, wearing a stoic expression on his features as he stands vigiliant guard over the events. But, the tiny, figure just isn't menacing enough to pull off the look and appeal of a proper Witcher. Spying Yulia, his cheeks flush and he begins to make his approach for her instead, stepping into the line to wait his turn for an autograph.

Spike wanders over toward Colombe. She's busy, so no doubt it will take him a few minutes to get her attention. When he does, he smiles to her, "Hell of a show you have going on. Congratulations on the turnout. I was just explaining to Willow that I had no idea so many people were interested in this."

Vance chuckles to Dakota "Only if you get an artist to draw your fursona." as he scans the crowd "Last one of these I attended there was a zombie apocalypse." He does pause to salute other people in various other fandom's uniform. He seems to be taking much joy in playing recruitment poster for "United Nations Cosmo Navy needs YOU, to defend Earth from Gamilans."

Mikael walks up to Colombe and gives her a smile, "Bonsoir. This is a very nice event, Mademoiselle." A glance towards the runway and a twist of hair as if considering something.

"Yeah lets try to avoid that one, I am on leave. I'm just here for everyone wearing clothing entirely innapropriate for anything colder than a sauna." Dakota nods her head over to Vance with a bob of otherwise to much hair. Making every bit the common crewmember to his officer with the black jumpsuit, boots, and belt full of odd tools and a laser pistol in holster. "I don't know what it is about these things that makes everyone get down to skivvies but it is worse than a lift meet."

Kameshi - Jesse from Team Rocket
She has a hell of a figure... almost literally. She has sinful curves, crimson red hair that looks ready almost like it was somehow woven blood, and a devilish smile usually on her pouty lips. Her eyes are like gems that someone sold their soul to possess seem to stare off into the ether, rarely in the here and now.

Her vinyl half jacket is heavily burdened by her vast bosom, stretched to near its limits, more details showing through then hidden. The majority of its material is pristine white, with puffed pleated shoulders, a high collar, three gold studs going up the bicep where the sleeves' cuffs are. A huge letter 'R' is stretched across the front, the lower third of the half-jacket's hidden front seam v-ing open, splitting the underside of the curve of the letter 'R', only further drawing attention to the overabundance filling it, a black vinyl bra visible underneath due to the opening. Her taut abdomen is bared to the world.

Her her full hips and pert posterior are lovingly embraced by a vinyl low waisted white miniskirt, bareing her flawlessly unblemeshed thighs for all to see.

A pair of thigh high glossy black vinyl platform boots with 7" stiletto heels push her height past the 6' mark, adding even more to the sway of her hips. The steel tips of her heels cadence every step, adding an audible rhythm to the bump and grind of her behind, and accentuating the shape of her legs.

Her makeup is simple, yet dramatic, mascara and eyeliner bringing out her eyes, with smoky eyeshadow tinting her eyelids, and eternally wet rich red lipstick moistening her mouth. Glossy Black vinyl shoulder length opera style gloves coat her arms entirely scrunched down a pit to meet the cuff of her half-jacket, adding a certain degree of something to her look. Her long flowing hair has been brushed to silky smoothness, cascading around her, almost as if it had a life of its own. Her ears are adorned with shimmering diamonds inset in silver studs earrings.

The final accessories to this look are is a thin clear belt, clinging to the top hem of her skirt, with a trio of half colored orbs attached to it. The belt is near invisible on the backdrop of her skirt, while the orbs somehow seem to sit high up on her left hip for ease of access.

Mikael - Nymphadora Tonks
Androgynous Perfection. That's what one thinks of when they look at Mikaël. Appearing about twenty or so, and standing 6'2 in flat shoes ~ here is a gracefully moving, very slender being who flows in and out of gender depending on clothing and mood. The hair, at the moment, is the natural sandy blonde color, and falls down in waves that end in curls, almost at the curve of the back. Light blonde brows are over true hazel eyes that are often covered by various contacts that allow a match of the eyes to the color of the wardrobe.
Facial features are classic; magnificent bone structure, regal Roman nose, high sharp cheekbones, unblemished porcelain skin, and well defined chin, that add to the illusion of either male or female depending on cosmetic choices. Rarely moving in haste, a creature of beauty in motion, who carries their-self in the confidence of the manor born.
Speaking with an enchantingly musical voice he has a smooth French Cajun accent. Not the harsher Acadian French, but more the refined and cultured dialect after decades of speaking true French with a unique twist at times from the bayou versions. The clothing varies from the height of the fashion world to the dinginess of the street ~ Mikaël is a natural born chameleon. https://www.cityofhopemush.net/index.php/Mikael
Items of note:
A silver ring which he wears on his left hand, that has delicate musical notes on a scale, representing a few bars of the song "Music Of The Night".
He also wears a pendant on a gold chain. Its of a fleur de lis made of amethyst, emeralds and golden sapphires, carefully shaped into parts of the item, all set in gold.
TONIGHT:
He is dressed as a tall young witch with a pale heart-shaped face and dark twinkling eyes. Tonks is enthusiastic and bubbly with a quick bright smile for everyone. As a Metamorphmagus, she can change her appearance at will. Tonight she comes in at first with her hair shorter and a bright bubblegum-pink and wearing her trademark long black leather jacket. Phillip - Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Standing at at roughly six foot, the man before you appears to be dressed in a cosply for the con. At a glance, it would be easy to say he is certainly handsome. His distinctly European features are mature but possess a youthfulness that fails to belie the worn, weathered lines that speak of age and experience. A slender nose and dark brows give him an almost regal, brooding appearance. Today, his hair has been dyed blonde in color and pushed back with gel. From a distance, his eyes look almost opaline in color but if someone looked very close, it would become apparent that they are actually a dark brown. Today he sports a clean-shaven look that really makes his jawline stand out.
The man is dressed in a skin-tight black shirt with a pair of black jeans and a leather belt. Over the whole he has tossed a long, leather trenchcoat, while on his feet are a pair of black combat boots. Those who were familiar with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series would surely recognize him as William "Spike" Pratt, an antagonist and anti-hero on the long-running, popular television show.

Dom isn't really trying all that hard to attract the attention of the judges. He's just here to relax and unwind and, while in costume, isn't all that concerned about the contest. Still, his insouciant attitude does seem to mirror the character of Shunsui, especially now that he has a bowl of sake in hand to sip from. He makes his way through the crowd, idly looking about at all the people enjoying themselves, and wanders from booth to booth taking in the various sights.

Colombe smiles warmly to Yoruichi, offering her a soft glance and murmuring something quietly. When Spike approaches, her eyebrows rise, and a slight smile plays across her lips, her eyes moving over the costume and back to the man with just a hint of amusement. "Well, as you would expect, I did my market research." Her eyes sparkle gently, and when Mikael arrives, she offers him a gracious nod, and equally warm welcome. "Why, thank-you, Mikael. I believe this is a character from the Harry Potter series, is it not?"

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, also known as Hannah, arrives to the event somewhat late, but her spirits are high. She's carrying a garment bag with her, implying maybe an addition to her costume or one she plans to change into later. Regardless, she weaves her way through the crowd, pausing only long enough to strike up a conversation with one of the vendor's at their table. There is a polite back and forth, and then she hands over the garment bag for temporary safe-keeping. "Thanks again," she says to them, offering a wide smile. The 90's leading lady then turns, feet apart and hands on her hips, to look around the busy convention space for anyone else that she knows. The wooden stake she carries is slipped under one arm as she unzips her small backpack and produces her phone.

Mikael places a hand across the waist and bows, "Oui, Mademoiselle, Nymphadora Tonks at your service."

Spike glances to Mikael and nods in their general direction. Looking over his shoulder he notices the approaching Buffy and raises his hand, waving her over with a smile so that she can see him and Willow.

Mikael chuckles and hugs Angelica back, "It is wonderful to see you here this eve. I was afraid I would know few."

Torgue is just glad that staying away from everyone and casually watching is pretty faithful to whom he's cosplaying as- Vampire Hunter D. Brooding off to the side near the windows out to the veranda, and waiting. His eyes make casual sweeps here and there, no focused gaze for anyone or anything in particular.

Willow follows along in Spike's wake, because lets be honest he's taller and going to part the crowd better. She offers the Sailor in charge a smile, then steps off to the side to check out another nearby booth that takes her out of the traffic flow.

You paged Buffy with ‘There are multiple prizes, you guys should go for best team’

Vance chuckles "They were slow movers.. That's LIKE a vacation right?" as he glances down checking his own belted uniform sidearm. Sci-fi looking laser pistols at a convention. Perfectly innocent. "I'm going to compete in the cosplay contest. It'll be hillarious."

Yoruichi lifts a hand in a small wave in farewell and pulls away from Colombe, moving away from her and mingling with the throng of people.

"Only if they let you flex." Dakota snickers out before she nods. "I am going to get a coke while you go up then, competition season ain't yet for me but I will have plenty of time on stage soon enough."

Angelica grins as he hugs her back "Wonderful to see you as well Mikael. How have you been my friend?"

The Goku emcee comes to the mic, briefly, to make an additional announcement, while the judges circulate. "I almost forgot to mention --- we also have some professional Cosplayers here with us tonight... please give a warm welcome to these very special entertainers!"

Yulia, aka ScarletAria, doesn't have a super long line at her booth, so Dalvin of Rivia doesn't have to wait terribly long. She looks to be in quite a cheery mood, and she beams as she notices his costume. "Nice outfit, Witcher," the Malon cosplayer says with a wink. Before offering her autograph, she raises a finger with a cheery expression and says with a giggle, "Oh, wait. I know this one." She turns and picks up her guitar, wrapping the strap around her and quickly turning it, looking up at Dalvin with a grin. She clears her throat, before she begins to play a perhaps familiar tune on it, recognizable as Toss a Coin to Your Witcher.
As Goku the emcee finishes, a stunning redhead enters the ballroom, unmistakably costumed as Asuka from Evangelion. Wearing Asuka's signature pilot plugsuit, she seems about ready to defend the Earth from Angels while also giving her roommate Shinji a hard time. It seems like a lot of work was put into it to make the red pop and the whole outfit shine. Though what brings it together is that little grin that seems to state that she is superior to all those around her (https://static1.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Asuka-by-Shirogane-Sama.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&h=1111).

Triss pauses in her wandering as green and blue haired cosplayers pose for photos of a mock swordfight, her violet eyes bright with amusement as they flick from the swordfight to admiring the oni horns on one of the others beside her. The albino girl shakes her head softly to herself, her smile growing just a little bit more. She turns as Goku speaks up again, joining in with the applause that follows.

Following Asuka, and making far less sound than you would expect, a very convincing Gundam struts into the ballroom. Who knows how long it took to make this masterpiece. There is no doubt that a countless amount of cardboard, plastic, and/or metal was sacrificed to the dark gods of cosplay to make this thing from start to completion. And all that sacrifice was well worth it. While it may not be all that comfortable to walk around in, it's hard to argue that every eye at the convention wasn't on it. If not for the sheer splendor of it all, the way it lights up definitely seals the deal (https://static2.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Star-Build-Strike-Gundam.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&h=1110).

Buffy sees Spike wave to her from across the crowd and she waves her stake in return. She nimbly slips around a small horde of zombies and walks in his direction. "Spike," she says with a smile, brows lifting pleasantly, "And of course - Dark Willow. How /totally/ approps." She winks toward the other woman, then reaches out to give Spike's bleached out hair a gentle touch. "Wow. How many times did you have to bleach it for this to work?" She is currently standing to the side, speaking with Spike and Willow. "If Angel gets here in time, maybe we can compete for the group contest?"

With some effort, a stooped older man with a white goatee emerges from the Special Guests tables area, easily overlooked until a nearby Dragon Ball Z fan squeals with delight and the man shows his prop --- clearly the front of a risqué Japanese manga, turned around to reveal a humorous message: 'HA HA, You thought this was dirty!!'. This outstanding rendition of Master Roshi, complete with his signature cane continues to please the crowd as he roams, leaving joy and laughter in his wake (https://static3.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Master-Roshi.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&h=740).

Arriving nearer to Yulia, Dalvin's lips curl into a bright smile for her and he bows his head shyly. "Oh, um thanks." He grants with a brighter blush on his features. Autograph received, likely on a photo he buys, he then his expression shifts to deeper delight as he starts her performance. "You're really good at that." He praises, his cheeks flushing shyly.

Willow mms and turns around when she hears Buffy's voice, giving her head a quick enough shake to send her hair wibbling around her shoulders as she grins. "I'm Witch Willow pretending to be Evil Willow. Willow-ception." She narrows her eyes a little bit and bobs her head as though it all makes perfect sense. At least to her.

Seraphina, AKA Breath of the Wild Zelda, makes her way out into the convention floor with a look of thin enjoyment on her face... She's making her way somewhere specific, of course. Towards the booth that Yulia occupies, which she slips behind in time to hear the music that she plays. When she settles, it's in a little lawn chair behind the booth. Her eyes are fixated on the content creator's playing, occasionally flitting towards the small line- that thin smile everpresent.

Chloe Price, or rather, Terri, asks the fan before he parts if he's going to come to the Wrestlemania party tonight. That's right, Terri's having a Wrestlemania watch party in her hotel room for nights 1 and 2 of Wrestlemania. The fan nods his head and thanks her for everything. There's no more in line now, and Terri scoops up the LONE Tag Team Championship and drapes the shiny belt around her right shoulder as she scoops up just the last few 8x10s that she was selling. She pauses as she looks over to see the Gundam on stage, looking impressed by it!
The Russian runner, Sveta, has been off the radar for a bit, probably arranging for a fresh arrival of energy drink samples, or wrestling someone in a fursuit out of the bathroom stall they managed to get themselves stuck in. She reappears though, somewhat literally, with hands clasped behind her back next to Triss. She leans in toward the small albino and cocks her head to the side. Once the applause is over, she inquires: "How is your skateboarding career going, Ubegay? You still seem to be in one piece, so I can't imagine it's been that disastrous."

Colombe notes the gathering of Buffy characters, and seems to recognize them, or at least the people. She greets Buffy with a quiet smile, offering, "Last minute costume change?" She grins, no malice, there, and offers the rest a warm greeting.

Spike chuckles as Buffy approaches, mocking fear at the approach of THE SLAYER. Throwing on his best British accent and responds to her, "Oh no, it is the Slayer! And, yes, it took plenty long. Willow helped." He thumbs over toward where she stands near one of the tables, "And yes, we can compete if you would like. Where is he?" The tall man cranes his neck around a bit as if searching the crowd for the aforementioned Angel. As Willow sneaks up behind him and then makes her mention of character choices, he shakes his head, "It took her fifteen minutes to explain to me what exactly that meant."

Yoruichi manages to locate Sveta in the crowd and grins widely as she approaches her, lifting a hand in greeting.

Mikael smiles to Angelica and asks, "Are you planning on participating? My costume is not very original but it seems like fun." He leans in and whispers something to her.

Finally, someone by the door gasps as the blood-thirsty Dark Sakura enters the ballroom --- tall, statuesque, dreamy, and maybe terrifying. The Fate franchise has taken the anime world by storm for several years now. The multi-media franchise has expanded on the original visual novel to reach light novels, games, and anime. This delightful variant of the character from Fate embodies the result of the heroine's descent into depravity before she fully embraced The Shadow, taking on a sort of terrifying vibe (https://static1.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Dark-Sakura-by-Link130890.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&h=1044).

Hannah looks over to Colombe as she approaches, offering the woman a warm smile. "Just Part 1," she says, gesturing back to the vendor's table where her garment bag rests, "For some reason I thought this was a two-day con, and I double-booked my looks. There's no way in hell I can pull off a winning style on my own merit, so I figured I'd hide behind my more stylish betters for the first half of the con." She looks over at Phillip and Willow with a wink, then back to Colombe. "Besides, Sailor Moon seems like the better Late Night look." She peers over her shoulder, trying to scout the last member of their party. In doing so, she sees Sveta in her Hentai shirt and rocks up onto her toes, hand waving in an attempt to get the Russian's attention.

Quietly, and just as he always does, Angelus appears out of the crowd. The man pulls off the look even without trying. His visage can be seen well above the crowd, and he approaches Buffy, as one might expect him to do. He gives a nod to Willow and Spike, before coming up and standing next to the Slayer. The man himself has really just put on dark clothes and a trenchcoat, but some mysterious master must be behind this because he seems uncannily similar to the Angel in the show. He even stops at Buffy’s shoulder and silently broods as he looks around the crowd. He doesn’t really appear to be acting his part, it just fits..

The judges, meanwhile, marked by their glowing red badges, circulate the Main Plenary, searching out the best of the best for participation in the CosPlay Fashion Show those present. As the crowd watches, the judges present the following people with a prestigious pair of Golden Cat Ears, their ticket to the stage, the fashion show and, possibly, prizes: Kameshi, Mikael, Dom, Dalvin, and Vance.

Angelica grins at him "Oui" She winks at him "Your costume is good though" She looks to the group and then back to him

"Thanks," Yulia replies to Dalvin with a giggle. She finishes playing the song on guitar, conversing afterwards to avoid throwing off her tempo. "I brushed up on it before coming here, just in case," she notes with a sly wink. "You never know when you're going to run into a Witcher at a place like this." She beams happily as she sets her guitar back down. "It is a pretty easy song to play, though. A lot easier than playing Gerudo Valley on one guitar, and there's no way I can avoid attempting that tonight." She gestures over her Malon costume.

Sveta Serova pulls off her chattering earpiece. She glances up as Yoruichi approaches, cocking an eyebrow and raising her chin in greeting. "Eh, uh. Yes, you need something?" She wonders, before the distant bouncing vampire slayer catches her attention. Just to make sure she's on her game, she jumps up as well, trying to get a full view of Hannah's costume over the crowd's collective heads. Her brow wrinkles. Mikael taps the bag over Angelica's shoulder, "What is this then?"

Triss looks surprised when Sveta's voice comes from just behind her, giving a little start and then turning around to smile at her broadly. "It's nice to see you again Sveta." she says warmly, then laughs a little bit at her question. "I'm doing pretty well, haven't hurt myself badly yet." she murmurs, then pauses as Yoruichi approaches as well, nodding in greeting.

Angelica hmms again "I could have come as Moaning Myrtle" She smirks and hands him the bag so he can look at it "Just some Funko figures"

Dom waves off the offer of the car ears with an easy going and relaxed smile. "No thanks," he replies to the judge. "I just thought it would be fun to show up in costume. I'm not really all that interested in turning it into some big competition to see who can make a better costume or chose a more popular character or whatever. That just feels like way too much of a hassle, and it isn't as though I really need the prize or anything."

Yoruichi shakes her head, smiling easily at Sveta. She wriggles her fingers in Triss' general direction, expression friendly and warm. "Oh, no, I'm managing just fine," she tells the Russian, then glances towards the woman dressed up as Buffy. "Oh. Hannah is dressed up as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Was a rather tongue and cheek movie, then a long running TV series. Have a soft spot for the original movie."

Still wearing his bright red flush on his cheeks, Dalvin nods for Yulia, and then chuckles softly as she gestures for her outfit. "Oh, um yeah it looks good." He tries softly, clearing his throat and then peeking over his shoulder for the rest of the smaller line line behind him, towards Seraphina. "I always wanted to learn guitar, but... Um, just been caught up with school and work." He offers and then steps out of the line a bit, so Seraphina can get her autograph too. Then as one of the judges hands over a ticket and a set of golden cat ears, he takes both items in hand, peeking down at them thoughtfully with a brighter blush on his cheeks. "Oh no..." He murmurs timidly.

The judge waits before taking the ears from Dom. "The spotlight is not for everyone. However, you are welcome to keep the ears." The judge is a young woman in her twenties, and she seems amused by Dom's response.
Are we in the Bronze right now? Because we've got a fully assembled Buffy, Willow, Spike and Angel crew gathered in real time. Sveta doesn't seem to get her costume, so Buffy lifts her stake meaningfully. "I'm Buffy," she mouths to her, then turns to imitate stabbing the air with her spike "ree-ree-ree" style, adding, "You know? The Vampire Slayer?" She offers the faraway Sveta a cheeky grin, which is when she notices the characteristically brooding and despondent Angel nearby. "Angel," she breathes, and for a moment the tragic couple are reunited. She reaches out to take his hand and pull him closer into the fray.

Torgue is glad after that announcement that no gilded cat ears came his way, a small sigh of relief sinks his shoulders for a moment. Tonus resumes after that breath. He's having a time trying to think of who all these characters are, trying to recognize everyone wearing them, and realizing there's many more 'culture' lessons he needs to have if he had any hope of really attending and participating another one of these in the future.

It's no surprise, the Buffy crew gets a visit from the judges. Golden Cat Ears for all. Goku, our beloved emcee, rises to the stage with infectious energetic verve. "And now that we have everyone ready and waiting to strut their stuff, please welcome to the stage, our best and most amazing Cosplay contestants!" As the Emcee makes his announcement, the lights dim, music starts playing, and a video of a pyrotechnic show breaks out on the large screen on stage behind the contestants as they maneuver the runway (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4Mj6Af5k5U).
Terri takes a moment to adjust the belt over her shoulder, before settling her 8x10s back down on the table as she waits to see the Cosplay contest. She takes a moment to reach for her phone in her jean pocket, looking it over and starting to thumb out a text message to someone before slipping it back into her pocket.

Nymphadora Tonks (aka Mikael) takes whatever the judges give her and smiles. She strolls off and onto the runway and does her well known comically awkward near fall over 'something or other' on the stage but catches herself easily enough but getting to the end. Turning around the light seems to make her hair look a bit more purple as she opens the trenchcoat and lets it fall off the shoulders to drag along behind. Underneath it she's wearing a black vest over a red t-shirt and a pale blue ruffled mini skirt: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/95/3a/9f/953a9f4a5708483cffe7244b46a809ff.jpg

Spike notices angel approach and nods to the man, "Evening Angel." He gives the doomed couple of Buffy and her dark lover a bit of a grin and looks poised to say something. But then the cat ears arrive and the announcement comes on about the contest and he glances toward the runway and says, "Looks like we are up for the contest." Offering a hand to Willow, he is poised to taker her as his partner.

"Good to hear," Sveta says to Triss. "Limbs, while not essential, are generally best kept in functioning order." The Russian then squints at Yoruichi, then over at Buffy, then back to Yoruichi. Her brows knit, before something clicks and her posture relaxes just a hair. "Da. Okay. I think I get it, then," she works the context out from the combination of explanation and the pantomime. "Cute. I should have probably done more with myself, but, eh, I'm busy running in circles like dog for Colombe. I thought this would do." She stretches down on the hem of her t-shirt, exposing the gaudy garment's emblazoned shame for all to see: I'M JUST HERE FOR THE HENTAI.
Yulia nods knowingly to Dalvin. "I can imagine it'd be hard to start learning between all of that. I started very young with a teacher. And nowadays, I mostly just sit around and play music all day, so it's pretty easy to keep up with" she half-teases. "See you around, Witcher!" she says as he heads off. She looks over to the Zelda cosplayer who joined her, and smiles. "Having fun, Sera?" she asks, before her booth gets crowded again.

Sera nods just slightly. "It's alot, yes? You know like... Sensory overstimulation. I don't hate it though. It's hard not to have fun when everyone else is isn't it?" She lets Yulia go back to the people around her booth then, seeming content to just sit and watch. Must be her first con. When it's his turn to take to the stage, Dalvin of Rivia's cheeks are painted bright red, making some of his make-up around the edges of his painted scar a bit harder to see as he moves with timid tension in his posture, and an attempt at a stoic expression. Once he reaches the end of the walkway, he tilts head proudly up. "Fuck." He grants in a gruffy voice before continuing on down the walk way.

Buffy looks surprised and delighted when the golden cat ears arrive. "Oh!" she says, giving a little bounce on her booted feet. "We made the contest! Excellent!" Willow and Spike are given celebratory finger-guns, and then she turns to Wade to grab his hand. "C'mon," she tells him, awarding the stone-faced vampire a rallying tug, "All you have to do is walk down the runway and look serious and angsty. You were literally born for this role." And she begins to lead the trench-clad man toward the stage.

Triss glances towards the pyrotechnics flashing behind the runway for a moment and at Buffy as Yoruchi and Sveta discuss her costume's origins, returning Yoruchi's wave with a smile and a wave of her own. The albino turns her attention back to the Russian and grins warmly when spoken to. "Very true. I had a good number of bruises and my favorite jeans are a little worse for wear, but that's okay." she says, chuckling. "So you're a part of putting all this together?" she asks, gesturing around at the crowd.

Yoruichi chuckles dryly at Sveta. "Are you really just here for the Hentai? Not exactly my wheelhouse, but whatever happens to float your boat."

Mikael applauds, smiling brightly and seeming to be having fun as he watches the others on the stage.

Spike takes to the runway, his trenchcoat fully at the ready. The Buffy-villain-made good puts on his best dangerously smouldering look and walks down the middle of the platform. His performance is pure machismo as he clearly has no idea how to do this catwalk thing. But he gives it a go. Walking to the end, he gives a look to the audience that would make Tyra Banks blush a little. Spike didn't light the world on fire with his moves, but man he looks good doing it. He turns around and stalks back.

Mikael puts an arm around Angelica, "YOu would have made a wonderful Moaning Myrtle if you wore a cute little plaid skirt with the house jacket with your hair in pigtails." He wins mischevously at her.

The judges belatedly approach Terri Thompson and give her a pair of cat ears. "Sorry about the oversight, get up there!"

Wade or Angelus is simply along for the ride here. H, no doubt, had help even with this simple costume. He glances at Buffy a little surprised. He might not have known they were even in a contest. He’s tugged along however, looking not thrilled, which just adds to the broody, angst look he’s going for as he and Buffy approach the stage. The man really was born for this, it seems. His face goes rather expressionless and he allows himself to be led by the Vampire Slayer to the stage as requested, however he doesn’t seem happy about it. Maybe he’s just playing the role.”

Angelica laughs softly as playfully slugs his arm "Oh stop it you.." She sneaks a glance at him "Would have been fun though"

Willow steps up with Spike as his duo partner, and, maybe because she's a bit rattled by the crowd, just doing her best to keep up. No tripping or falling, but she definitely does not light the world on fire. Her walk comes across more as showing her costume off than actually putting on a full show. This leaves her often walking casually around her partner, waving to the people watching them both.

Angel and Buffy are reunited at last, here under the bright lights of AvalonCon. The brooding man in his dark coat cuts the perfect replica of Angel, his swagger full of confidence as he charismatically works his way down the stage without even cracking a smile.

Buffy, on the other hand, smiles radiantly to the crowd. She struts her way down the stage, arm in his, the other hand twirling the wooden stake. Things are going //okay// for the time being, but then the twirled stake slips from her fingers and lands on the stage with a clatter. Without a moment of thought or hesitation, Buffy reaches down to collect it. Only, she kicks it again with her booted toe, causing her to shuffle along after it, effectively mooning all and sundry thanks to that 90's-inspired mini-skirt. She realizes this immediately, but the damage is done. She jerks back up, pink-faced, and then offers the world's most awkward smile and wave to the crowd before turning to stride off. Angel is thus abandoned in hell once more.

Yoruichi slips her phone out of her pocket and taps away a quick message, before stashing it in the folds of her shirt.

Ambrosia has her smartphone in her hand as she enters the large casino ballroom and the anime convention within. The scrawny goth isn't dressed in any costume but that doesn't stop a nearby girl from asking, "Who are YOU dressed as?!" Ambrosia levels the girl with the blankest of stares before she stalks passed her and further into the crowd.

Terri blinks, seeing the cat ears, before shrugging and putting them on her head. She hurries up onto the stage and holds the LONE Tag Team Championship up high over her head. Then she begins to slam dance, swinging her arms and legs wildly like Chloe would probably do in the mosh pit, shakka brah! Then, after a moment of this, she puts the title belt down at her waist and holds it like it's a guitar, strumming over the front plate of it. She may look a little... off with the title belt and cat ears, but her dancing was pretty spot on. Like something you might see in an 80s punk documentary.
"I don't know. Yes? No? Maybe? The world may never know the contents of my hard drive," Sveta says to Yoruichi, before pivoting her focus to the stage. "At least, not before the thermite eats through it." She huffs in amusement as she watches Dalvin make his catwalk, and brings her fingers to her mouth to let out a loud whistle upon his delivery. Then, to Triss: "Unfortunately, I am. Just keeping the wheels spinning, though, not forging them - I don't think in my darkest dreams I could have conjured up such a debaucherous cesspool of unwashed bodies, body pillows, and illspent youth." The Russian's attention lists back over to the stage and she takes in a deep breath. Maybe it's breaking some of the rules pertaining to objectivity, but the runner screams loud enough to be heard over the crowd, her entire body tensing to deliver air forcefully enough to form the words: "YES. SLAY. THEM."

Mikael chuckles goodhumoredly and applauds Buffy and adds a high pitched whistle.

Sveta's whisteling just has Dalvin of Rivia blushing more as he walks briskly back down the stage. After his short jaunt on stage, the tiny ginger is left still with bright red cheeks as he makes his way for the drinks stand, Dalvin of Rivia picking up something probably alcoholic before lingering near the bar with the drink in hand, sipping on it shyly as he peeks around the room. As he spies Ambrosia, he makes his way for her, relaxing a touch as he approaches. "Oh, hey. Ambrosia." In his hand, he still holds a pair of Golden Cat Ears.

Angel does make the whole act seem effortless, he doesn’t seem to be trying to pull off the aloof and brooding vampire. Even when Buffy drops her stake and then makes a bolt for the way off, he just continues to make a confident walk the rest of the way and then disappears after her. No running, no extra speed. It’s all quite uncanny. He alsos eems to be relieved to be out of the spotlight.

Willow slips off the stage with Spike, and just shakes her head a little bit, laughing as she slides up against his side. No she is not trying to hide a little under the oversized coat. Nope.

The contestants are all marvellous, even with the minor slips and bumps, the crowd goes wild as each of them does their thing. As Dalvin walks up, someone shoots, "I'd toss a coin to that!". The energy in the crowd just lends itself to the energy on the stage, and the feedback loop is intoxicating. Kameshi gets an equal mix of stunned awe and raucous cheering. Michael is welcomed with whistles, and Terri gets a loud 'YEAH GUTTER TRASH'. Then we have the pairs --- as a group, they are stunning and the crowd can't get enough. As the group leaves the stage, the crowd just chants, "BUFFY BUFFY BUFFY BUFFY!"

Triss lifts her brows at Sveta's comments to her about the con, looking surprised for just a moment, then shrugging and nodding. "I saw some of the folks in costumes and had to see what was going on." she says with a chuckle. "It is quite a show, all of it." the pale girl offers with a grin, then widens her eyes at how loudly the Russian beside her hollers for Buffy, turning to catch the performance on the stage.

Vance is hanging around watching the judging for the various costumes and taking mental notes before commenting to Dakota "You know next time we should just do Jo Jo's Bizzare Adventure. Then we could put our posing and flexing to real use."

"I was personally going with nuking it from orbit." Dakota answers back to Vance with a small nod. "Only way to be sure."

As the last of the contestants leaves the stage, our friendly emcee Goku, takes centre stage, applauding them all. "Wow, that was just outstanding. Really, so great to see so much love for the art of Anime. And as I stand here, stalling while the judges make their final decisions, I have to reflect on how great this whole weekend is going. I sincerely hope that you have each had a wonderful evening." A slight pause. "And the results are in! Please, can I have to the stage... our very own Witcher, Geralt of Rivia --- you have won the prize of 'Most Charismatic!"

Ambrosia just weaves through the crowd, a blotch of dark, pale gloominess among a sea of colorful joy. A glower is aimed at a teenage super-hero who tries to take a selfie with her, "I'm NOT in fucking costume!" She hisses, all moody-like. She continues for a few more paces before Delvin of Rivia finds her and she turns on him, taking in his costume first before settling those ice-blue eyes on the golden cat ears in his hand. "Give. Thos. To. Me. Now."

Goku, our emcee, continues announcing the Cosplay Contest winners. "Nymphadora Tonks --- please come to the stage to get your trophy for 'Best Costume Design'!"

Buffy has a hand on her face, partially obscuring it as she cringes at her own clumsy idiocy. She moves down the steps quickly, rather keen to put some distance between herself and the stage. The chants //do// help lift her spirit, and even if she is still dying on the inside, the show must go on; she offers an embarrassed laugh along with a wave, trying to be a good sport about it all. She wordlessly slinks over to the other Buffy gang as she says, "I'm gonna need one of you to use this on me later." She wiggles the stake. Her attention turns to observe the winners of the competition, whilst unshouldering her backpack and digging through it for her phone. Bzzt. Bzzt. It's vibrating.

While Ambrosia robs him of his cat ears, Dalvin of Rivia easily yields them to her, still blushing softly and then... His eyes widen and he peeks up for Goku, the tiny ginger's jaw dropping as his cheeks flush rather deeply. It takes him half a minute to finally process the announcement before he returns for the stage next to Goku, looking far more timid than before. Shyly, he lifts a hand, looking like he may very well burst, right there in front of the crowd.

Yoruichi laughs at Sveta. "Well, yes, it is nothing if not entertaining. It's interesting, really. This all started out as a small fringe culture and has become more and more mainstream as the years have gone by. People enjoy their hobbies. All these people here," she says, gesturing around herself. "Have this hobby in common, which gives them a reason to socialize and feel part of a larger whole. That is something that people crave, one way or another."

"Chloe Price, aka, Gutter Trash, aka, Terri Thompson --- come and claim your prize for 'Best Game Persona'!" Goku is so excited; it's easy to see this is his favourite part. "And the award for 'Best Group Costume' goes, of course, to one of our Buffy pairs, but which one?" The Emcee lets the suspense build. "It's Spike and Dark Willow! Please come and receive your trophy!"

Torgue remains rather static by the big windows. Listening to everything, eyes on the stage and lazily sweeping over the other people present. This outfit may slowly become his favourite of the bunch- since all it takes is a quiet look or two when someone -does- recognize the cosplay to sell it. That's one selfie for the night, hopefully he won't have many(any) more to go through...

Mikael applauds enthusiastically as the winners are announced, and he hugs Angelica, "Next time you let me know and we can dress as a team, oui?"

Terri's eyes widen, not expecting to hear that a few moments after she wandered off the stage. She puts the belt back over her shoulder and moves to claim her prize, grinning broadly and squealing when she gets it. Yet another prize to claim in her career!

Yoruichi leans closer to Sveta, saying something quietly to her.

Spike slips off the stage and is more than happy to take Willow under his oversized trench, a good-natured smile on his lips. As Buffy and Angel come on stage and do their performance, he stops and watches the whole performance. When the thing happens at the end, he raises a single hand and calls out, something in French along the lines of: 'Way to go, to the Slayer!' He grows quiet and listens as the winners are called out, holding his partner close to him and whispering to her as the volume allows. When Buffy approaches them, he grins at her and nods, "I can if you wish, but you were si magnifique!" He is interrupted by their name being called aloud. Looking around, the man appears genuinely surprised at the fact and then encourages Willow to join him and go to claim their prize.

Goku beams at Terri giving her a spirited thumbs-up as she collects. The trophies are on a table behind the emcee, and Goku directs the winners to collect their prize from one of the helpful runners manning the stage. "And now for the most special awards of the night. The first award goes to the contestant or contestants that captured the judges attention, but maybe didn't quite get there. For them, we have the 'Plucky Underdog' award. And this goes to ---- Buffy and Angelus!!"

Willow just peeks back out and looks genuinely surprised, she shakes her head and pats her hand against Spike's chest, "That's all you luv." She goes with him to get their prize, but its ending up in his hands one way or the other, her shoulders shaking with laughter.

Ambrosia quickly claims the golden cat ears from Dalvin of Rivia before the latter heads back to the stage. She carefully puts them on and takes a moment to adjust her black pigtails before she continues through the crowd. The waif somehow spots Sveta among the crowd and she bee-lines toward the Russian. "Honeybear. Girlfriend. Take a peep at my fucking ears. Am I anime now?" She'll open, regardless of whether she is interrupting anything.

"People also voted for Brexit and voluntarily listen to Imagine Dragons," Sveta remarks upon Yoruichi's observation. "That doesn't mean they shouldn't be held accountable for it." Serova still applauds for the winners, despite her words. She even adds in a whistle or two before slipping her earpiece back in, as runner chatter begins to pick back up. She waves apologetically at Triss as she moves to depart, giving Yoruichi a nod of confirmation at something the cosplayer mutters to her. "Da, yes. We can arrange this." With this, she slips back into the crowd to wrangle the hoards of weebs.
"And now, for the final prize. This prestigious award is presented to the contestant with the best overall performance, and requires both a spectacular costume, as well as a deeply provoking performance. I think there are no surprises that the prize for the Ultimate Cosplay Champion at the first annual AvalonCon goes to our very own local celebrity, KameHemolele!" Goku cheers and gestures wildly for Kameshi to come, get her prize and stand next to him on the stage.

Hannah/Buffy has her phone in one hand as she claps for the winners, appearing genuinely happy for them. That enthusiasm is dialed up a notch when the pairs competition is announced with Spike and Willow named the winner. She whistles for them, catcalls, claps, and then glances down at her phone. There is a lingering smile as she unlocks her phone and skims over the message there -- only to stiffen at what she sees. Her mouth falls open, she blinks, then looks suspiciously around the crowd. "That rat," she says, without sounding especially aggressive. More annoyed and amused. That's when Buffy hears that she and Angelus have won the 'Plucky Underdog' award. Admittedly looking more sheepish on this return to the limelight, she offers an awkward wave and grin. "Oh boy..." she says to no one in particular.

Triss lifts her brows a little as she listens to Yoruichi defend the hobby and smiles, looking thoughtful for a moment. She turns to applaud for the winners along with everyone else, and then nods to Sveta and lifts a hand to wave understandingly back to her. Left to her own devices again, Triss nods once more to Yoruichi politely before turning and starting to weave through the crowds, deciding to head out and get a little air.

Yoruichi pulls her phone from her shirt, smiles at the screen and taps out a reply.

Terri gives Goku a thumbs up in return and beams, stepping away now and making her way back to the table she was sitting at earlier to set her belt and trophy down onto it so she can get all of her things in order for when she has to leave.

Wade/Angel is once more standing near the Buffy group as the other couple is called on stage. He’s really laying into the persona it seems, as there’s little to no reaction to the other pair winning. And then they are called up again, and he seems less enthused than Buffy to make a return. He glances down at Buffy, and it seems just waits for her to lead the way, or maybe he’s just going to let her go retrieve it herself. Though he does say something quietly to the Slayer where they are.

Molly slips in the back. Tall, blond, wearing a black suit. Just another caterer. Or maybe part of security. Oh, she's got a 'Dana Scully' badge, how clever. Her body language is entirely 'I am out of place in this environment', and she makes no move to draw attention to herself. She stays in the back, half her attention on her phone.

Dakota slips out after a bit, and with a wave to Vance.

Collecting his prize from one of the runners, Dalvin steps back down fron the stage with still bright red cheeks. Spying Ambrosia bee-line for Sveta, the timid ginger peeks after her, and then down shyly for the prize in hand and clearing his throat. Then he looks back up in time to spy Molly, and shyly makes his approach for her, next. "Um, hey... Molly..." He greets timidly, blushing rather fully.

Yulia watches the end of the cosplay contest from her booth, glancing over at the woman in the Zelda cosplay sitting next to her. "Maybe sometime we should do a matching bit, and enter one of those contests as a pair?" she suggests idly. Dressed as Malon herself, they do already have a theme going. "Any ideas? You know, I think you could pull off Yennefer."

As Spike and Willow collect their award and he's all smiles, holding it up and seeming to enjoy the win. After they claim it, he joins the chorus of phones being pulled out, unlocks, and glances at it. He shakes his head and keeps the broad smile that he's wearing. Typing a response of his own, the man tucks away the phone and makes his way over toward Buffy and Angel. After they are all done collecting it, he nods to both, "Congratulations to both of you." Looking at the award he and Willow won he shrugs gently, "Did not expect this to happen at all." He turns his wrist and glances to his watch for a moment, "But, it looks like things are starting to wind down a bit and I think we have plans?" The Buffy antagonist looks toward his partner and offers her a genuine, wide smile with the question.

Molly's eyes widen as someone actually recognizes her, then she glances down at Dalvin. Of ... she's not sure what. King's Landing maybe? "Hi Dalvin! Nice, uh, costume." She glances around, in case anyone is staring at them. "Just got here. I, uh, guess I failed at being discreet."

Ambrosia watches as Sveta moves off without noticing her, just as she closed her distance. the goth reaches up to touch the golden cat ears on her head. "Are they that bad?" She asks aloud to noone in particular. She follows this with a lazy shrug of her shoulders and turns to head back into the crowd again. "Really? I guess I could do black hair..." Sera muses, as Yulia finishes. "Why, were you thinking of doing Triss or something?"

Sveta is staring down at her phone screen as she's slipping through the crowd, jaw opened in a stupid little grin as she zooms in on something front and center in the middle of her screen, screenshots, and saves. When Ambrosia cuts her off, she jumps slightly, juggling the device between her hands so as not to drop it before clutching it to her chest. "Oh! Ambrosia LaSalle! You're like a shadow, aren't you? Not an unwelcome one, though." She extends a hand and lightly taps the top of one of those neko ears. "Da. Kotenok. You're almost there. The aesthetic was always verging on it, but this pushes it over the edge."

Willow walks along with him, sliding the ears up onto her head to tuck her hair back behind her ears. She grins at Buffy and Angel, "You two are very cute." Which may or may not be something the gentleman of the pair wants to hear. She looks up to Spike and nods, her grin growing as she reaches over and lightly pats his chest. "We do." Then she outs him to their associates. "Its someone's birthday."

"Oh, um. Sorry... I just... Was looking, a bit..." Dalvin admits for her shyly, still bright red in a way that conceals the painted on scar some and he gestures over his shoulder. "It was good to see you." He murmurs softly, and then clears his throat shyly.

Mikael overhears something and grins to himself. He catches Spike's eye and gives the man a thumbs-up.

Angelica grins over at Mik "sounds like a plan my friend"

Molly continues to look around, trying to take everything in. "Uh, did you win something? I thought I heard your name called?" she asks Dalvin of King's Landing.

Vance grins having picked up a couple of collectables Vance heads out.

Spike's phone beeps again and he checks it, handling the trophy off to Willow. He types a quick reply and shakes his head to her birthday commment, "Apparently." A chuckle shows it is good natured. Offering his hand to his fellow Buffy castmate, he says, "Shall we?" A glance toward the exit.

A slight blush on her cheeks, Kameshi sashays up to the stage, pagent waving to everyone, taking the last step with a quick hop, then she smiles, "I'd like to thank all the twerps whose Pokemon I stole to earn this victory!!!" putting up the Victory duece and giggling, then taking the trophy, and holding both hands up for a few celebratory seconds before skipping back down, obviously knowing this is not the Academy Awards, and no one is expecting a Jim Carrey level speech. She does pause to smile at Dalvin, "Congradulations on winning a trophy." then looks at Molly like she is trying to place her.

"I am the night." Ambrosia says in a matter-of-fact tone of voice as she turns back toward Sveta. Her eyes follow the Russian's hand as it rises up to tap one of her cat ears, then she meets her gaze directly as she listens to her answer. "You really think so?!" Ambrosia asks Sveta, voice sickingly sweet, eyes widening and small, pale hands clasping in front of her chest. The act is dropped in an instant and the goth's expression grows blank and vacant. Unless Sveta stops her, Ambrosia will slip her arm around the other woman's and try to tug her 'that' way. "Let's go check this place out. I saw a boy we BOTH know dressed up like some witch dude earlier."

Peeking down at the trophy in hand, Dalvin nods softly back at Molly, and then blushes as he peeks back up at her. "Um... Apparently... I'm charismatic..." He informs her shyly, clearing his throat briefly as he holds the award up for her inspection. And of course, Kameshi's praise just deepens the blush, and he smiles, waving for her. "Um, you too! You look good."

Serova allows herself to be snagged, but takes a moment to place an aside on her earpiece, holding up a finger toward Ambrosia to excuse herself. "Get someone on the door, then, if they keep coming back in through it. So? I don't care. Put a chair there? What do you mean 'fire hazard'? Oh. I still don't care.”
Goku beams at Kameshi as she bounds away and offers a few parting words. "That concludes the scheduled events for the evening --- please feel free to stay as late as you like, the venue is open until 2am, the special guests have about an hour before they will take their leave. It's been a blast, now let's get this party started!" Goku smiles to Kameshi as the lights dim again, and loud party music plays (hhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCkYYk3uDZs&t=2474s).
Yulia nods in reply to Seraphina, her head turning as she gestures down at herself still sitting at their table. "Exactly! I think I could pull it off pretty well. What do you think?" she asks the woman clad as Zelda. "Everyone loves Yennefer and Triss," she emphasizes. "Besides, it seems like the costumes would be really fun to make."

Molly finally tears her attention away from the crowd ... and Kameshi, holy crap ... and actually takes a good look at Dalvin. She grins. "Well, great job. I have no idea what your costume is, but great job." Then her attention back to Kameshi as she actually gets close enough for conversation. She returns Kameshi's gaze, looking her over. Not often that she actually has to look up to meet another woman's eyes. "Hi, congrats on the win."

Serova allows herself to be snagged, but takes a moment to place an aside on her earpiece, holding up a finger toward Ambrosia to excuse herself. "Get someone on the door, then, if they keep coming back in through it. So? I don't care. Put a chair there. What do you mean 'fire hazard'? Oh. I still don't care. I'm taking my 15." She allows herself to be guided, then. "You know him too? Seems like everyone knows him." She then leans in and mutters lowly toward the other woman.

As the crowds start to thin out, one might notice a lone gunslinger walking through the crowd dressed in a blue suit. He is 'smoking' a fake cigarette and surfing on his cellphone. Why it is Spike Spiegel from the crew of the Bebop. The space cowboy just kind of wanders along, looking at this and that. He does not look to be in a hurry as the event breaks up. Maybe he was here the whole time.

Seraphina thinks for a moment, and eventually nods. "You know? I think you're right. We could even go alittle bit harder next time than we did this time? Like... We still have grandma's old sewing stuff right?" She looks about as the music begins to pound, and lets out a small sigh.

"Ready to pack up and go, Yuli? Or d'you wanna stay for the after party?"

Ambrosia clings to Sveta's arm, though she does let up on the tugging and even allows the Russian to decide their path through the convention. The goth murmurs something quietly in return, leaning in close so Sveta can hear above the noise, then she leans away again and speaks louder. "Never pegged you for a working girl, Serova. Maybe they have earpieces from Japan in one of these booths... and yes, don't let the shy beat fool you, I think that boy gets around!"

"Oh, um... I'm Geralt of Rivia, from The Witcher." Dalvin shyly tells Molly with his bright red cheeks, squirming briefly as she turns to greet Kameshi, his attention following on over to the loosely dressed woman. "It's a pretty grand video game. I like it alot..."

Molly ohs and nods, then grins a little. "Never heard... oh, wait, with Henry Cavil?" She thinks for a moment, trying to decide if she's thinking of the right thing, then shrugs. "Well, I recognize Pokemon, at least."

Torgue notes there's not a lot of people leaving after the planned events end, so the Vampire Hunter T(org) finally breaks his statuesque place at the windows to make a solitary trek for the bar. And hoping he's not interrupted too much on the way there. Yoruichi makes her way towards the lone gunslinger, smiling at him and offering up a wink. "Hey there Spike Spiegel. How is the night treating you?"

"I never pegged myself as a working girl either, actually," Serova rebuts in agreement. "Colombe seems to have pegged me, though. Is not often I am pegged like this." Serova weaves them through the crowd deftly, moving them alongside the convention center's windows so that they can watch the crowds disappearing into the night down at ground level. "So I throw her bone. Little favor. Lend operational experience fit for small scale land invasion to something more, eh... down to earth."

"Doing okay," Spike Spiegel grins in his rakish way at the Yoruichi, "How about you?" He looks around and shuffles his feat just a little bit. Taking his fake cigarette out, he gestures around and chuckles, "Looks like they put on one hell of a show here tonight. Naked Buffy Butt was the best part by far."

"Do you think anime freaks have tanks? Wait! Don't answer!" Ambrosia quickly directs Sveta's view to the Khaleesi herself, Daenarys Targaryan, who is among the crowd visible through the window, exiting below. "She has lizards on her shoulders. Is that a thing?" The goth is careful to avoid Sveta's earpiece when she leans in to murmur something else.

Mikael gets a drink from the bar and wanders around making a few purchases here and there until he ends up with a large bag over his shoulder of items.

"Mhm, that's it..." Dalvin of Rivia tells Molly shyly, smiling softly back at her while Ambrosia and Serova discuss their pegging plans. Likely, unaware to them. "Yeah, Pokemon is pretty fun." He offers, peeking back towards Kameshi, and then back at her. Molly peels her eyes off Kameshi and back to Dalvin not of King's Landing. "I bet she catches em all." As the crowd thins out she finally notices the bar. "Oh, holy shit. Tell me they serve alcohol here."

"They did," Yoruichi says with a grin, wrapping her arm around Spike Spiegel waist and laughing. "Hannah is so gonna try and murder me later, but I could not resist. Just too damn fucking easy."

Torgue finally makes it to the bar and gets himself a drink. It's downed quickly and he then pivots and looks around the crowd again. He goes to weave through again to where he was brooding previously and tries to sneak his way out onto the veranda itself.

"Of course I still have it... How do you think I've made some of these costumes?" Yulia asks Seraphina with a giggle, before she begins looking around at the late convention. "Mmm... I guess that we probably should head out before too much longer. The longer we're here, the more drunk people are going to be around. And the weirder the things they want autographed," she comments with a mixture of reluctance and amusement. "Hmm... Before we head out, you could record me playing Epona's Song on orcarina for Twitter. In the hallway, it's definitely too lound in here.""

Spike Spiegel chuckles at Yoruichi, "Oh, she can take a joke." He slips an arm around the Bleach character's shoulder and watches as folks continue to speak with each other, "I just figured I would come by and see what this was all about. Didn't want to stay home on a Saturday night after all." Looking down at her, he asks, "Did you have a good time?" The Bebop cosplayer seems to be playing it cool for the moment.

Mikael spots Torgue and gives him a nod of his head,

"They do, yeah." Dalvin informs Molly, clearing his throat and turning back around to spy Ambrosia and Sveta as they weave through the crowd together, his cheeks flushing more. He peeks back at Molly, and clears his throat. Seraphina nods. "Of bloody course, yeah. That'd make sense wouldn't it?" She shakes her head as she stands. "And sure, I can record that for you. It should only take like, thirty seconds or something right?" She blinks... "Either way yeah, I can do it. Wanna stop for something on the way home too?"

Mikael spots Torgue and gives him a nod of his head, "Bonsoir, Monsieur. I hope the eve finds you well?"

Serova's gaze drifts down to the Queen of Dragons, although she seems more occupied with the second, lower conversation the pair are conducting. She makes a small noise of affirmation in the back of her throat, then glances sidelong at Ambrosia's profile, taking her in.
"Da," she confirms, returning an earlier arm squeeze in confirmation of something less-than-audible. "Together." At this, she slips out from the goth's grasp, tapping at the side of her ear. "Someone's managed to puke across an entire floor," she explains as she steps backward, away from the window and Ambrosia. She salutes as she backpedals, winks, and then quite literally disappears into the crowd.

Torgue freezes mid-stride, turning in place so he can approach Mikael, then offer a bow from his chest. "Bonsoir, mon ami. This eve has been entertaining, I believe a congratulation is in order for your catching the attention of the judges, non?"

And so Ambrosia is left alone. Sveta receives no real farewell, verbal or otherwise. Instead, the goth just offers her a blank stare at the mention of 'puke' and watches as her companion disappears into the crowd. Her gaze lingers on the crowd for a moment longer before she turns back toward the large convention window, resuming her people-watching of the people exiting onto the ground floor below.

"It was fun," Yoruichi says, eyes traveling over the thinning crowds. "Although it all seems to be drawing to a close. Got the message I sent you earlier? About that check?"

Molly takes Dalvin of Rivia's arm and starts towards the bar. "Did that prize come with any money? Ah, forget it. I'll buy you a drink."

Mikael shakes his head, making the golden ears bounce amid his colorful hair, "Oui, I was lucky. There were some outstanding costumes and performances tonight."

Spike Spiegel nods to Yoruichi, "Already made a few calls." The way the space cowboy is acting isn't that far off Spike Spiegel's actual character. He's maybe watched a lot of Cowboy Bebop before. The anime hero looks around for a few moments, "I was hoping to catch up with Colombe, but she seems to have wandered off. I was going to wait around for her as, no doubt, she's going to be here late cleaning up tonight."

Cropsey - Spike Spiegel, Cowboy Bebop
Before you stands a tall, lean man that looks dressed straight out of an anime. His features are thin, but not so slender as to be quite considered hawkish or unattractive. On the contrary, he is actually quite handsome and not a bit dashing. Atop his head his a riotously large mop of dark hair that might just very well be a wig. His face is kept clean, with not a hint of beard in sight. The stranger's dark eyes appear to sparkle with a certain rakish, mischivious mirth that any could see.
The man is clearly dressed as Spike Speigel from Cowboy Bebop. A well-fit blue suit that has been buttoned in the front is the first thing anyone might notice, complete with pant-legs that are too high. His yellow shirt is left unbuttoned and a brow tie is pulled down and left to dangle. On his feet are a pair of polished black leather shoes. If one looked close enough they could clearly see a black holster that seems to contain a pistol that has been concealed within the folds of his jacket.

When his arm is scooped up, Dalvin follows along with Molly as she guides him towards the bar, and then he shakes his head lightly. "Oh, um... No..." He admits, and then smiles softly for her. "That's sweet of you. Thank you." He murmurs, and shifts, leaning against the bar and turning to slide up onto a bar stool. "So, ah, how's work been going?"

Yulia tilts her head for a moment, and then shrugs. "We can stop somewhere, sure. Hmm. Before we head out..." She glances towards the bar for a few moments, and then looks back at her Zelda-cosplaying companion. "Want to get a drink? I know that things like this stress you out."
It takes Kameshi a few moments, as she seems lost in trying to place where she knows Molly from, it is somewhere, but she can't quite remember. When Molly mentions Cavill and Pokemon, Kameshi nods, "Yeah, isn't Dalvin so adorable as micro Cavill? And yeah, I actually made this costume for a convention in Texas, but the guy that ran it was a crook, cut corners, and caused a load of trouble, so I never actually got to wear it, since the cosplay contest was day three of the convention and it got cancelled half-way through day two after the Sons of Anarchy cast staged a huge protest. Figured this was the convention to pull it out of storage and actually show off... especially with Ken Sugumori here. Plus, I figured more people recognize Pokemon over most Anime, so better to be Jessie, rather than Boa Hancock, Vermouth, Lust, Mio Kusakai, A-Ko, Henriette Mystere, Narusawa Ryoka, Quetzalcoatl, Fujiko Mine, Rangiku Matsumoto, or Naga the Serpent"

Seraphina shakes her head. "Nah... Trying to keep myself off alcohol, remember? If you wanna stay, we can you know. I ain't gonna make you do anything you don't wanna do." She does look towards the bar, however... But her gaze doesn't linger long before it's back on Yulia. "Da. Probably best we just cut out if you don't have anything else you wanna do?"

Colombe emerges from the stage area and catches sight of Yoriuchi and Spike Spiegel; she smiles slightly and marches a dedicated path towards them. She removes her earpiece on the way. She offers Yori a grin, and Spike Spiegel gets a quiet appraisal. "Not too shabby. Both of you. I hope you both enjoyed yourselves, somewhat?"

"Maybe you'll catch her later," Yoruichi says, as she gives Spike Spiegel's middle a squeeze, going silent as Colombe approaches. "And lo, she returns," she adds with a grin.

Torgue offers a thoughtful expression and then agrees with Mikaeladora. "Yes, some inspired performance and well-crafted costumes. More turnout than I expected- but I'm a little new to this whole scene. While I do a lot of gaming- I don't really do movies or television all too much unless at someone else's request." that's got a faint flush from him as he admits that.

Ambrosia moves away from the window after a moment and she rejoins the thinning crowd. The golden cat ears are pulled off and she clutches them in one hand while her other rises to fix her dark pigtails. The goth catches sight of a familiar face at the bar and changes course. Within moments, she appears out of the crowd behind Dalvin and Molly. "Hey, Sugerplum. Who's your friend?" She asks the former, smiling wide enough to show off those near-perfect pearly-whites.

Molly guesses that Kameshi is obviously the star of the show, and thinks nothing of it when she's mobbed by fans. But the the conversation is picked up right where she left off. "Oh!" Molly laughs. "I have to be honest, I don't recognize... uh, any of those names." She grins and gives mini-Witcher a tug. "He's refusing my offer of alcohol. Can I get you something instead?"

Praise is leveled on him from Kameshi, and the tiny Witcher blushes deeply, squirming shyly for her as she discusses him with Molly. Dalvin of Rivia peeks briefly towards Ambrosia, and lifts a timid hand towards her just as she starts to approach the pair of them. "Hey, Ambrosia, this is Molly." He shyly introduces, gesturing for her and then peeking back at her at the tug. "Oh, no... I'm... I'm not refusing anything... Sorry, um, a rum and coke, please... ?" He tries shyly, gesturing for the golden cat eared goth queen. "This is Ambrosia." He provides timidly.

Spike Spiegel's eyes drift to Colombe as she approaches and he chuckles, "Hey there, Sailor Mars. Welcome back." A look about as his dark gaze sweeps the room for a moment, "I was just telling my compatriot here that this was fantastic. Looks like a hell of a show. I admit, I never knew you were such a fan." Those last words were clearly directed at Colombe in a good-natured jest which is enforced by a grin.

Mikael gives Torgue a bright smile, "I am the opposite. I watch more movies than I do game, although I at least have knowledge of both somewhat." He takes a sip of the amber colored liquid in his glass.

Ponder a moment, Kameshi smiles, "I'm sort of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, and rarely drink, but the Witcher is here to protect me from someone taking advantage of me, and one drink can't hurt me, right? Since I don't tend to drink, I don't know a lot of things that I like, but I know one, coconut rum. So, how about a little of that, if that isn't too much. I've never bought myself any alcohol, enough of a pain getting carded just to get into a place all the time, plus I rarely pay my own bar tab even for my mocktails and sodas. So, if coconut rum is too pricey, I can try something cheaper, I guess." then looking from Molly to Ambrosia, Kameshi offers a hand, "Nice to meet you."

Colombe's mouth rises into an amused smile to meet Spike Spiegel's grin. As she considers the flawlessly rendered Spike Speigel, her gaze warms. "I will refrain from direct comment, but I will say that that it has come to my attention that the genre is not without some appeal." Her eyes go to Yoriuchi. "You do make quite the pair, like this. I wonder if you will ever have occasion to use these costumes again."

Torgue chuckles. "It was more fun to go hunting for a few nights in a row rather than watch someone else have an adventure- in my younger days." he explains, "Or participate in a game than watch one unfold. Though it's a bit tougher to do the former in this state, and people-watching has turned into a hobby as well."

Molly's eyes start to glaze over as she listens to Kameshi's little speech, then she smiles and nods. "Okay then!" Her attention to Ambrosia, she flashes another smile and a "Hi, nice to meet you." Finally, to the bartender, "four rum and cokes. Coconut rum if you have it." A pause, then: "Lots of ice please."

Yulia actually beams at Seraphina's decline of her offer, nodding in reply. "Right! Sorry about that," she says, perhaps happily surprised to hear that the woman was still on the wagon. "Alright... Let's get you out of here before things get too fun," she says with a wink. She stands up and begins packing up, saying something in a teasing tone in what sounds like Russian.
Yulia says something in a foreign language.

Spike Spiegel chuckles, alarmingly like his character at Colombe's words, "You never know, space cowboy." He then cocks his finger into a gun and points it at her, whispering, "Bang .." His one arm hugs Yori a bit closer and he sighs softly, asking the event coordinator, "So, you're going to be here awhile, eh? Assume I could hang around until you were done. Or, we can meet later. I don't want to to cramp your style after all." The slick-suited man eyes Colombe a bit up and down, speculating just a bit.

Seraphina responds, also in Russian with a roll of her eyes, "Am I that predictable? I'll have to change my tactics..." For a moment, she looks thoughtful... But invariably it ends in a light lilt of laughter. Then in English she says, "Yeah. Let's head home... We'll definitely have to do more of these though, da? This was alot of fun. I'm glad i was able to make the time."

Yoruichi shrugs and smiles. "Who knows. Was fun to come out and socialize, but I do find the crowds a bit much at times. Not really all that used to them. Clubs are a different feel. Besides," she adds, poking Spike Spiegel in the belly. "I like the way he looks just fine, when he isn't all dressed up in Cosplay. I also managed a shockingly good photo of Hannah when she dropped her stake and tried to pick it back up again. I may have to lay low for a bit," she adds with a grin.

Ambrosia listens to Dalvin's introductions, then she focuses her attention on Kameshi when the woman offers her hand. "Pleased as punch." The goth murmurs as she takes the hand and shakes it. Molly earns a quick little nod at the 'Hi, nice to meet you.', then Ambrosia is holding the cat ears out for Dalvin. "I kept them safe. Now I return them to you, Lady's Man."

Mikael says, “People watching can be fun. That is quite easy for me at my lounge.”

For Kameshi's claim, Dalvin of Rivia blushes more for her, settling back against the bar and laying his trophy on the bartop behind himself, his hands folding down in his lap. "Um, yeah..." He assures her, and then he peeks back at Molly as she orders the drinks. As the cat ears are offered back at him, he squirms for Ambrosia's comment and reaches to accept them. "Um, cool. I think they look better on you, though." He offers, holding them in both hands.

Sailor Mars, aka Colombe, grins widely at Yoruichi's photographic luck. She smiles to the Bleach character. "Yes, I too am a fan of his true manifestion." Her eyes go quietly to Spike Spiegel, resting there a moment before she adds, firmly, "My earpiece is out. And my assistant can handle the rest of the evening." She smiles quietly. "Perhaps we could step out onto the veranda, where it's a bit quieter."

Torgue gives a brief look to Sailor Colombe, head canted back to raise the brim of his hat. He notes she's still occupied and full attention returns to Mikael. "Having your own lounge, much better than my office. Most I get to do when I'm not feeling social and visiting a joint to eat is peer out the window or stare at then nightscape."

Mikael follows his eyes and smiles, "The Mademoiselle has been very busy all eve. Pardon moi but what kind of office do you have?"

Yoruichi :shakes her head and starts to pull away from Spike Spiegel. "Actually, I was asked to look into someone earlier this evening and I'd like to get cracking on that. Going to grab myself a bite to eat and I'll bring home some takeout," she says, with a jerk of her chin towards Spike Spiegel. "So you'll have something waiting for you when you get back home."

Yulia giggles at Seraphina's response, nodding as she finishes packing up. She is, of course, going to make the other woman carry most of the heavy stuff. She doesn't exactly look like she can manage carrying much weight herself. Taking at least the guitar in case, she nods to the fellow Legend of Zelda cosplayer. "When we get home I can check when the next con in the area's going to be." When the other woman's ready, she begins heading out.

After the bartender brings the drinks, Molly turns back to her little group and passes them out. One to Dalvin, one to Kameshi, and then she offers one to Ambrosia. "Care for a drink?" she offers. She's got her own in her other hand, and looks quite happy to double-fist it.

Spike Spiegel makes a bit of a squeaking sound as Yoru pokes him in the belly, softly saying, "Hey, I try my best. I am no fashionista!" As Colombe comments about her earpiece being out, the space cowboy nods, affirmatively, "Fair enough." A glance toward the veranda as he waits to be led to the destination, "I've been waiting to get a real cigarette in my mouth all evening anyway. Sounds fantastic. Take me to your leader."

Torgue gives a gesture from beneath his cloak. "Minor assistance with computers, inkwork, piercings, sub and transdermals." he explains. "A few more things for those that're in-house, but that's more for in-office discussion?

"That sounds good. We could even start looking at fabric maybe? You'll have to teach me how to sew so you're not doing ALL the work..." Sera says as she follows Yulia out.

Mikael nods to Torgue, "Oui, I recall someone said something about a new tattoo artist around town but I was not aware it was you. I thought it was another. Never the mind... what is your business called and where is it?"

Colombe gives Yoruichi a curious look her gaze lingering there as she replies to her. "Take it easy, Yoruichi-san."

Ambrosia's hand snatches out to reclaim the golden cat ears from Dalvin just as soon as the man says that they look better on her. She carefully puts them back on before she levels her gaze at Molly. "I'd love one but I have the worst case of diarrhea right now. I totally shouldn't dehydrate any more with booze or whatever." The scrawny waif gives the back of Dalvin's bar stool a solid thwack, "Besides, I have to giddy-on outter here. Wait. That's westerns, not anime." A shake of the head, "Anyway. Just wanted to make sure you weren't getting accosted by these beautiful women. See you soon, Dalvin."

Ambrosia offers Kameshi and Molly another nod each before she backs away from the bar and moves to join the crowd heading toward the exit.

Yoruichi wriggles her fingers at Colombe and smiles. "Feel free to give her some of the details," she says to Spike Spiegel, then heads for the exit and out the door.

Torgue shrugs. He murmurs quietly for Mikael some particulars. "Might be another, though my offer isn't so popular in-house, nh?"

When a drink is handed his way, Dalvin takes it in with a soft smile for Molly. "Um, thanks." He murmurs for her softly, and then peeks back at Ambrosia as a drink is offered to her as well. Then he flushes, tensing with timid surprise as she whacks at the back of his barstool, easily yielding the cat ears to her as she takes them. Both hands cup around the glass in hand as he peeks back up for her. "Um, well thanks for coming to hang out, Ambrosia. I'll talk to you later." He murmurs softly, clearing his throat as he shyly squirms.

Molly arches an eyebrow slightly at the mention of diarrhea, but doesn't comment. Her enthusiasm at having two drinks is lessened somewhat, however. She lifts her glass to the goth in response to her nod.

Colombe's eyes rest on Spike Spiegel, regarding him with quiet focus as Yoruichi leaves. She lifts a hand and gestures toward the open doors leading out to the veranda, and then turns to lead the way.
