County of Lion's Reach - Lost in Time Market - Plaza of Hours

The Plaza of the Hours comprises the very center of the clockface that serves as the Lost in Time Market. A large circular plaza, set in white marble with bands of pale gray veins. The defining landmark of the plaza is the Tower of the Hands Tavern and Inn, set at the very center of the clock; a multistoried affair crafted from wood accented with marble and brass. On the third story, two wood and brass hands extend at lengths of ten and fifteen feet, smoothly rotating around the tower, keeping perfect time. Arranged around the plaza in a colorful sprawl, the market is organized into four sections, each taking up a quarter of the clock. Placed at the entrance to each section is a beautiful marble fountain, the center pieces crafted from brass and never-melting ice. The fountains give hint to the merchandise available in each quarter, from arms and armor to the north, general goods to the east, items of questionable nature to the south and to the west, art, music and treasures.

Erin gives you a call to see if you are up for going into the market today. She has the little one strapped to her because it makes it much easier that way than having to do magic on stuff so.. She brings you into the area with a smile. "So here is one part of the market, this is my favorite honestly because they have yummy treats here"

Kringer is also here.

Trey is eager as he walks through the Rath to the Market, and begins to look around, eyes wide as he takes it in, all sense of being cool and laid-back sort of lost in the sense of wonder. "Wow," he murmurs, "This is beautiful. It's a giant clock..." He smiles a delighted grin as he walks with Erin, Eric, and Kringer, his feet light as he spins to look around him, taking it all in. "It's just such a wonder that this can exist... these places are so precious..."

Erin smiles "And the stuff you can find here is pretty amazing too" she nodsnods. She heads for the fountain to sit for a moment "So take it in and then we can go to the shops and the other area." she smiles.

Trey grins and nods his agreement, looking thoughtful as he joins her on the edge of the fountain, his long hair taking on little crystalline beads of water from the mist. "Do they work on barter here as well as Dross? I don't have a source for Dross but I do have handcrafted things I can barter."

Erin nodsnods "They do indeed.. Also if for whatever reason they are not budging I will spot you for whatever you want. My treat ok?" she smiles "So where do you want to start or do you want to go to the other side of the market" she smiles.

Trey smiles at that and says, "Oh, I don't expect you to do that, but... well, we'll see if they budge. I'm pretty good at bargaining." He gives a cattish grin, batting a bit at the water absently -- the Dreaming brings out his cat side a bit more, it seems, which may be the product of his Pooka blood. "What's your usual first stop? I'm good to see any and all of it."

Erin points to someone that looks like they have a lot scrap metals and things "Him, I pick up pieces of metal that might talk to me for my next project" she then points to the treat person "Then I got there for some kind of pastry or ice cream.. She had ice cream last time" she nodsnods "Just remember that fae food can also be really weird" she giggles.

"Ah, as long as it's not garbage flavored, I'm happy. I'd eat fish ice cream if they had it," Trey says with a playful laugh. He rises, offering her a hand up, and then move to go take a look at the place with scrap metals to see what kind of materials they have. "I make magical trinkets, so they might have stuff I can use." Dasia heads into the Southwestern face of the Lost in Time Market. Dasia has left.

Erin takes your hand and smiles "See that will be helpful they have at least to me all kinds of useful stuff" she nodsnods.

"Same here." Trey walks alongside Erin, shortening his stride a little to keep pace with her, and approaches the booth, an eager bounce in his steps. "I'm looking for things that will help me cross the Gauntlet. So... if there's any faerie silver to be had, I think that might help. Since I'd have to go to the moon to get moonsilver, that is..." He pauses, picking up pieces of metals and woods to examine each, quickly dropping the silver back to the table when he realizes it burns. "Why did I think that wouldn't hurt?"

Erin looks at you curiously "Hmm t" she trails off as you put it down "yeah that's going to hurt you at least" she picks it up so that you can take a closer look at it "This is one of those things that might help you but hurt you" she notes "you'll need to wear gloves" she nodsnods. "And work with it in short burst"

Trey nods agreement. He gets out a thin leather glove, slipping it over his right hand, and then picks it up from her hand, examining it closely. "This... I think it could be perfect for the inlay inside the watch. It's going to be a watch. I have the mechanical piece, but I'm replacing part of the face with a mirror. I wanted it to be silver, but this is even better." He looks to the clerk and says, "I have pelts and leather I can trade for this, all properly cleaned and everything. Also some handmade bone beads."

Erin smiles softly as she lets you make your deal as she bounces a little as Eric fusses a little bit "Be nice to him" she tells the Merchant.

That admonishment from a regular customer seems to help. Trey makes his trade, and manages to keep some of his materials back to trade elsewhere. He then motions to a large piece of faerie steel. "Is that big enough to be useful to you, Erin?"

Erin looks at the faerie steel and bends down really carefully with the baby and all.. "Maybe, do you need it?" she asks you curiously as she runs her fingers over it.5R

Trey shakes his head. "No, just trying to be helpful. I think at this point, the only other things I'll be looking for are inexpensive but pretty gems, and maybe some fabric if we find something really noteworthy. Possibly some ash or rowan if there's any that looks good for carving into rings." He adds, with a smile, "I'm not technologically skilled like you, but I make magical things. And soon enough, I hope to learn to make fetishes as well, so I can make things that do both."

Erin hmms softly "well we can go to the other side of the market and see what we can find.. Maybe you'll find your gems?" she smiles at you. She gestures to the merchant "I’ll take this but I need you to hold it" she nodsnods.

"Oh, definitely," Trey offers, and wraps the piece of faerie-silver, placing it carefully in his backpack. He removes the glove, sliding it back into the front pocket of the pack as well. "I'll work with that later; I think I'll work at the Kin crafter place, either that or Sunhome. I'll be making the mirror-face mold later too."

Erin looks thoughtful " You can come work at the shop too if you need too it's open to you" she nodsnods.

Trey ohs and says, "I haven't seen your shop yet -- I should come by in a few days to do that. I wouldn't want to be in the way though, are you sure it's okay?" He's either exceptionally polite, or wary of her very large mate, or maybe both. He walks alongside her as they stride, and he wonders aloud, "Do you think that the fae would buy mortal magical items? I have a few things I've made I could sell."

Erin nodsnods "yes I’m sure that it would be fine.. and if you need a shop where you can work solo.. we can talk about that.. I have a place " she mentions and then stops at the treat shop and gets some chocolate and some pastry looking thing "These are really really good" she looks thoughtful "I don't see why not.. but it will be a case by case. some are not fans of the mortal magic and some will think it's super cool" she grins. "I would think it's super cool" she winks.

Trey nods, "As long as you're sure. Maybe I'm too cautious." He shrugs it off and chuckles at his own hesitance. "Because you keep offering all of these new experiences to a cat with a very curious mind, and I'm very lucky to have a friend like you." He hrms and considers the items, and then accepts a sample if she's offering. "That's what I figured. But they're less fragile than Treasures, and they don't enchant mortals at a touch, so that's a plus. Like these boots I'm wearing..." He holds up a finger, then jumps up onto a narrow fence along the side, walking across its very narrow top without slowing. He jumps down and says, "They make balance easier."

Erin smiles "I am very sure.. I inherited a crafting place that I have all to myself right now, so if you ever needed a place to yourself i could bring you in" she nodsnods then wows "Those are cool did you make them? What is on them?" look who's nosy now.

The boots just look like fairly ordinary hiking boots. Trey explains, "I usually work with existing items and modify them. You inherited a crafter space? Wow. That's handy!" He then explains, "They're called Catlike Balance Boots, although I can put the enchantment on shoes, too. I just replace the inner soles and a lot of the thread and other parts of the shoe and enchant the materials."

Erin ohs softly "That is very very helpful.. very helpful indeed" she gestures to her shoes "I don't make sound when I walk" she grins "I can be very sneaky" she nodsnods.

"I noticed you can be quiet about it," Trey notes, and nods agreement. "I can't make any really impressive things yet, but I'm working on it. I think learning to make the watch I was talking about will be a huge breakthrough."

Erin smiles softly "You will get there.. Trust me I didn't start out making cool shit it took a lot and a lot of practice and time.. But you will get there and in no time you will be making amazing things and people be coming to you to ask you to make them stuff" she nodsnods.

"It just takes time to experiment, and inspiration. I've gotten lots of inspiration, just not always the knowledge to back it up. One of my kin back East sent me two crates of books to help me, now that I'm staying in one place for a while." Trey nods eagerly, and says, "But you know how it is as a crafter -- you always want to make things you can't make yet. That's how we learn, by doing."

Erin nodsnods "yeah I know how that can be trust me.. Read the books and never give up" she smiles and then buys you some chocolate and a pastry. She offers them and then starts walking "And as for help.. When you get stuck.." she nods.

Trey accepts the gift of food with a smile and a warm 'thank you,' and listens as she speaks on the matter. "I can't imagine ever giving up -- there's so many things to learn. I don't think I'll ever stop learning as long as I'm alive. There's still so many things to discover, and I will definitely come to you when I'm stuck," he says, taking a bite of the pastry. "Oooh, this is goood..." He falls quiet, eating happily.

Erin smiles "You know I've heard people say that and I've seen them quit when a project drives you mad.. So keep that spirit" she smiles at you and nodsnods "My door will always be open" she walks with you and points to some of the gems in one of the stalls.

Trey grins. "Most of them weren't cats. We don't give up when something makes us curious. We just try another angle, or our claws." He walks easily alongside her, and ohs as they approach a booth with gems of all sorts. He's looking specifically for the ones that show in both worlds but have special appearances or colors in the Dreaming. "Oh, this one is lovely... some kind of agate," he says, holding up a pretty blue-purple stone the size of a pea. "Probably a good one for something watery or airy, maybe more airy. Like mental capabilities..."

Erin smiles as you get all excited about the gems "That is a really nice one.. I like the way it sparkles" she also looks and hmms a little bit and then there is some fussing. She steps away a little bit as she bounces the little one so she can keep moving "I think you should get it, it is really pretty."

Trey agrees and holds onto the gem, and selects a few others, deftly bartering some more of the handcarved bone beads for the pretty but inexpensive gems. Those get pocketed, and he turns back to Erin with a curious air. "You need to sit again?"

Erin gives a little nod "yeah need to feed him. If you don't mind the waiting" she smiles at you as she heads for the fountain again or somewhere nice to be able to sit down to feed him "he has been really hungry lately I think he has a growing spur coming along"

Trey waves a hand to dismiss the idea of minding. "Not at all. Babies have needs, I don't mind." He joins her at the seat and works on the remains of the pastry, enjoying the bites while Erin feeds the little one. He offers to share the chocolate with her, figuring she might be a little hungry again too.

Erin takes a blanket as she feeds the hungry baby. She awws and takes it "Thank you.. Yes babies have needs, sometimes a lot of them" she giggles "So besides the umbra thing, what else are you working on?"

Trey considers this as she feeds Eric, completely comfortable with the whole thing. "Well, one of the easy projects I've got in the works is just a phone case that protects it against any damage, like a case should, but better -- and also strengthens your signal no matter where you are. I think I need to work some copper into the case to make it work right, what do you think?"

Erin looks thoughtful and smiles "Oh that is something that would be cool. I tend to do magic on mine when I hand it to the kids" she giggles.

Trey laughs. "Smart move. If it works as well as I hope, you could give your phone to the kids without doing anything and it would be fine. I just need to get my hands on a few old phones to test it with -- I don't want to use mine, for obvious reasons."

Erin looks thoughtful "I might have some old phones that you can test on if you want.. I can look" she nodsnods. "I don't tend to throw stuff away" she blushes.

Trey grins. "Throwing things out when they can still be useful is wasteful, isn't it? Plus, my friend from Denver is the same way, she has a whole house full of her crafting stuff." He nods agreement. "I'd appreciate that. I just want to make sure they'll still work wafter I chuck them at walls and off buildings."

Erin smiles "you threw it off a building?" she grins "But yeah i'll get you one for sure.. I mean I can use parts from old phones.. it's a good thing I have a garage" she grins.

"Not yet... but I'm going to, just to make sure it works." Trey grins. "How else can I be sure it works? And aren't garages the place where people put all the stuff that doesn't fit in the house?"

Erin laughs "True, but i mean a car garage.. I try not to have a junk yard.. We use to have a junk yard that we could go too. but sadly it became unsafe and we could no longer use it"

"Unsafe like it had too much stuff to walk around safely any more, or unsafe, like someone unsafe took it over?" Trey's seen things, it seems. "I don't own that much aside from books, because everything I had when I got here fit in here." He pats his backpack. "Though it holds a lot more than it seems."

After checking and taking a burp rag. She covers up and puts Eric over her shoulder to burp the little tike. She hmms "It was unsafe to walk too something caved it in and it was just bad.. So the.." she seems to consider "Let's just say don't go there"

Trey looks thoughtful, as he often does. He ohhs and nods agreement. "That sounds like a problem, yeah. No sense in taking the risk at that point, I agree. I won't. I can imagine a lot of ways to die, but getting squished by a landslide of garbage is a pretty bad one."

Erin sagely nodsnods "yes yes really bad to be squished by trash" she giggles then looks to Eric taht burps then smiles "Ok shall we keep going" she doesn't put him back in the sling she decides to hold him for now.

You say, “I don't want to die stinky!" Trey nods, and rises, helping her up again since it's not easy to get up with a baby in your arms. "Let's! I think at this point I'm just looking, and enjoying the scenery here.”

Erin smiles "Ok so no cloth merchant then" she giggles and does take the help because yes baby. She adjust him on her hip as they begin to walk and smiles "So many good shops here"

Erin, Trey, Eric and Kringer are here, near the fountain as they seem to be just kinda looking around talking about heading to the next area of the market.

Trey agrees, "Yeah, I'm impressed at the variety of things here. I mean... so many cool things. I have to keep reminding myself that I don't really need anything." He waves a hand inclusively to take in the whole place. "But I'm enjoying every second of it."

Kieran comes out from the north-east with a spring in her step. Well, no. Really, she's more dancing along, eyes closed and headphones (not earbuds) on, and of course, singing as she goes. "And I ain't trying to mess with your self-expression / But I've learned the lesson that stressin' / And obsessin' 'bout somebody else is no fun/ And snakes and stones never broke my bones so..."

Erin laughs "That's how they get you, they are really good to sweet talk you" she winks and turns as she hears someone singing. She smiles and gives a little wave. The baby is at her side and not in the baby carrier.

Trey laughs as he spots Kieran singing and dancing along with the music on her headphones -- he'd wave, but she won't see it, at least not yet. "Oh, do you know Kieran too? I met her on the beach one night. I had fish and chips; she ate my chips for me because I just wanted the fish." Yes, he explains too much sometimes.

Erin smiles "Yes I know her. We went on that adventure" she smiles "Ah that was nice of her.. didn't have to waste food.. I usually give the chips I don't eat to the birds or leave it for the rats" she nodsnods.

Kieran continues to draw closer, still singing and dancing as she goes, "So, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh / You need to calm down / You're being too lou-oh!" She pulls up short as her eyes open just in time to avoid running into Trey. "Oh... oh! Hey! If it ain't Long John Silver!" She grins, "I mean, just because you look more like a pirate type than you do a red lobster..."

Trey ducks neatly to avoid the misstepping Clurichaun, and says, "Oh, sometimes I want to go on an adventure in the Dreaming," to Erin, chuckling. "Yeah, I usually just eat them but I wasn't feeling the vegetables that night." He waves to Kee and says, "Argh? Ahoy, me hearties, and all that pirate stuff?"

Erin smiles at Kee as she moves out of the way herself "Sup girl!" she moes from side to side to keep Eric entertain.

Kieran grins when she sees Erin as well, "Hey! Sorry, didn't see you there... I've been kinda... in my own little world since last night, I guess." She laughs, "How are you both?"

Trey grins. He tells Kee, "I'm doing really well, settling in, making friends," motioning to Erin, "As you can see. So what happened at the adventure last night that pumped you up? Lots of music?" Oh, if he only knew.

Erin keeps moving side to side with the little one and grins "We meet Cyndi Lauper it was freaking awesome" she nodsnods and smiles softly.

Kieran laughs, and nods at Erin's explanation. "Met her, talked to her, sang and danced with her... been jazzed up ever since!"

Trey ohs and thinks a bit, trying to see if he knows the name. After a moment, it comes to him, "The one with the wild-colored hair from the 80s. 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', right? You met her in the Dreaming? That's interesting!"

Erin sagely nodsnods "yeah that's the one.. she's super awasome" she smiles.

Kieran smirks, "Aaaaaaand that's the one we sang, too." She does this little spin, laughing again, "It... was... /AWESOME/!"

Trey starts laughing, catching the infectious happiness from the two women near him. "That sounds like fun." He starts spinning around them both with sly grace, playful as always. "Was she a Dream or...?"

Erin giggles as Kee is all happy and smiles softly " It was really really interesting. She watches the two of you as she enjoys watching you guys "So cute"

Kieran just cannot, /even/. "She's an /Eshu/!" It just... bursts out of her as she keeps on dancing around, "And she's /sooooooo/ adorable! Even now! Ohmigod it was /amazing/! We get there, there's some musical magic... magical music... whatever! and then she's /THERE/!" Trey OHS and grins. "She is? Wow!" He now has his answer, and he's listening to Kee recount the night, and looks over at the comment about being cute, looking not at all abashed at the idea. "Of course I am, I'm a cat!"

Erin smiles a she keeps moving dancing a little to cause Eric to dance as Kee tells Trey the tale of their adventure. She smiles softly "It was very amazing definitely glad i got to go"

Kieran spins to a halt, giving Trey a look that almost /screams/ 'whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?', "You're what now?"

Trey looks at Kieran with a sheepish expression and flicks a finger against the faint impression of cat ears, something like a mirage. "Lynx Pooka Kinain," he explains, truthfully. Well, sorta. He let that one slip... big mouth kitty.

Erin blinks at Trey then just watches poor Kee's expression as she spins a little causing Eric to laugh again.

Kieran says, “Ohhhhh." She nods, "Yeah... yeah, I can see that. I mean... you know what I mean. I think.”

Trey nodnods. "I think so, Brain, but what will I do with an apron?" How the hell he knows that reference but had to be reminded of Cyndi Lauper is a mystery, but hey, mysteries are fun! Just ask the... Pooka Kinain. "Sorry, I'm so used to kind of calling myself that around.. well, family..." Still not lying!

Erin smiles softly "So where were you heading before you almost ran over the Pooka?" she teases.

Kieran nods at Trey. "Riiiight, yeah, no worries, man... you do you." Which could be one long 'what?' but she's totally just rolling with things. Then she blinks over at Erin. Where was she going?

Where /was/ she going? "Uhhhhhhhmmmm.... around?" She shrugs, "I know I had something in mind, but fucked if I can remember what it was!" Then she spots the baby again and winces, "D'oh. Sorry about the swearing around the kid n' shit... Ack! Sorry! Anyway.. uhm... What about you guys, where were you headed?"

Trey tilts his head to one side, regarding Kee as if trying to make sense of her reply. He finally says, "Okay!," and leaves it at that. "Erin was just showing me around, I haven't seen all the outer parts yet. Of the clock, of the plaza thingie, I mean." He pauses. "This place is so incredibly cool."

Erin smiles "I was showing Trey here the Market, he has never been here before" Erin giggles at Kee "It's fine it's fine.. my language slips from time to time it happends" she looks to Eric who is laughing " See he is having a good time" she smiles.

Kieran says, “Oh... uhm.... then I guess I'm going your way!”

Trey says, "Sounds good to me! Which part do we see next?" He's excited again -- he was telling the truth when he said that he was really pleased to be here. "Is there someplace special you want me to see next? Or we can just wander, whichever..."

Erin smiles "I am good with whatever direction the two of you decide" she tilts down towards Kringer and Eric laughs.

Kringer sits and watches waiting for Erin to do it again it seems.

Kieran shrugs, "I dunno where you've been, so..."

Trey spins, closing his eyes, and then extends a hand. "South," he says with a grin, offering an arm to each of them, then stopping, realizing Erin needs hers to hold Eric. "Well, um... south, yeah."

County of Lion's Reach - Lost in Time Market - South and West Quarters

The South and West quarters of the Lost in Time Market are made of up the sections between Five and Ten. The sections are cordoned off by tall, full length walls of marble and decorated with brass gears and cogs. To the South, the stalls are all tucked out of direct sight, usually veiled by curtains of gauze or silk. There are noticably fewer stalls and only one or two full shops. To the West, it's quite different, broad paved pathways feature numerous, clusters of stalls and booths, sporting lots of glittering pieces, jewels and precious metals in abundance. Paintings, books, rugs, all manner of luxurious trappings up for sale. Large, beautifully crafted stores with sparkling windows showcasing even more gleaming items.

Contents: Dasia Ambrosine

"I do, on occasion, babysit some of still-life painting or drawing sessions," Dasia admits. "I am sure the students would be thrilled to have someone with your innate beauty sit in to pose for them. And I'm sure the Baroness could find some choice Dreamers of her own among their number, if she sits in often enough to nurse such a bond." It's as close to a full smile as she's likely given, but still. The war against the wrinkles persists. EVER VIGILANT.

"Of course, I keep getting away from myself again! Introductions." If she is miffed about not having a herald to do this for her, she is hiding it well. "I am Damawiy Nasrin, niece to the Sultana Talitha, and heir to the Oasis of Lingering Dreams." She included the Arabic names of them all, too, but they are not in the +notes for some reason.

Two things are apparent. The first... Damawiy is said in a tone that indicates a title. Like you wouldn't call 'Flowering Blossom' Flowering. Tou would call them Blossom. Secondly... that technically makes her a Princess. A Princess the Fertile Crescent, but a Princess all the same. Though the local Wyrd may need to be convinced...

Erin, Trey, Kieran, Eric and Kringer all come into the area. Erin is holding Eric the baby in her arms kinda bouncing to make the baby laugh.

Ambrosine 's head tilts and she smiles, "Of course. Would you also perhaps be able to guide me if I were to visit?" The frail-looking Sidhe wonders. As Afternoon starts to deepen into twilight, Amber pushes up her sunglasses so she can turn violet starfields to regard the Elegbara.

The evening is starting to creep dark shades into the cold blue pre-spring sky. Nearby a Boggan is selling various types of wax items and honey and next to her is an arms seller. Across from these and between two produce stalls are a scattering of tables. The Eshu, Chimera and Sidhe are all sitting together. The Baroness, Amber is eating honeycomb and lavender out of a jar with a golden spoon while she speaks with airy enthusiasm in Dasia's direction. The late afternoon market crowd has thinned some allowing for more visibility.

Max is also there, the cat-man attempting to adopt the air of a fly on the wall. Spotting Erin and Kee the feline man flourishes his hand and dips his head in an approximation of a bow without actually getting his lazy butt up.

"An interesting prospect." The Sidhe muses, "I am flattered by the invitation, Dasia. I hope you'll come to visit the Isles sometime?"

Ambrosine adds while Max is distracted, "Amber is just fine for me, we're not at Court."

Trey regards the area with greedy eyes; he's taking in everything with wide swaths of his gaze, his excitement clear from his expression. The Kinain fellow walks between Kieran and Erin, occasionally offering Erin a hand with her baby Eric if needed. His gaze takes in the booths, the people... and finally the Sidhe and Eshu chatting, and the cat-fellow waving at his companions. He stifles a smirk.

Kieran arrives with the others, looking around a bit as well. When she spots the Baroness's retinue, she laughs, and gives Max a deep bow, one foot crossed behind the other, like a performer on a stage. Then, still laughing a bit, starts heading in that direction. "Well /hello/! If it isn't more of our intrepid cast of adventure..."

Erin slows down as she sees other people. She waves a little bit with Eric's hand to those there "Well hello" she says in a rather cheerful voice as she bounces the baby in her arms.

Kringer stays near Erin sitting down to just to watch.

"Of course, Bar... Amber," Dasia says, correcting herself halfway through. She would go on, but Sir Eric has arrived, and so she is distracted. "I would be happy to show you around the campus, of course," she says, "Just as much as I would love to visit your isle. With spring coming up, I might even be able to offer ideas to incorporate some of the architectural tricks of the Sultanate, if you would be so inclined." See: spring cleaning, redecorating, freehold MATH bbpost!

She smiles a smol smile as the newcomers finally get close enough. "Is SIR ERIC well today?" she asks his... uh. Square? sure. He does seem well, and not poopy or pukey at all!

Ambrosine looks over towards Kee and her smile brightens as she regards Erin and Eric as well, wiggling her spoon in a wave before taking another bite of the honeycomb. "Hello Erin and le petit garcon, you're both looking brilliant. Kieran nice to see you as well and.." Her starlight eyes turn towards Trey with a quizzical tone.

Max does not un-sprawl, he just lifts his head to presumably take in the quartet with a flick of his conical black ears. Though it's hard to tell with his harvest moon gold eyes lacking pupils. "Good Evening." His dusky bass made his noble Bavarian accent almost musical. The ambient brilliant of Amber's smile remains and the French Baroness glances over Erin, Eric, Trey, and Kieran, "I was just introducing myself properly to Damawiy Nasrin."

Trey huhs? "Sir Eric?" He looks down at the baby, then back up to Dasia, utterly confused, then casts his glance toward Erin, just as befuddled as he was a moment before. "Your son is a Knight?" That's news to the Kinain fellow, and he chuckles softly, and then pauses. "Oh, excuse me," and he bows politely. "Ladies. I'm Steven Trevelyan. Called Trey, for short. Pooka kinain." He looks Native American to knowing eyes, so how he ended up pooka kin is anyone's guess. "A guest of Mrs. Blixt," he adds, motioning to Erin again. He doesn't get to dust off his manners of this sort very often, and he does seem pleased about it. He glances again to Eric, before returning his gaze forward.

Kieran says, “Well, she's definitely someone to introduce yourself to!" The Clurichaun grins, "Aaaaaand there's someone else running around that we need to introduce your ladyship to, as well. Cap'n Dee. She of the oh-so-selky-hair.”

Erin smiles as she turns Eric so that he can see everyone. The little one is awake, his bright blue eyes peer at the world and he smiles and waves his little arms and feet as he seems really excited at the moment. Erin smiles at Trey "so I been told" she grins "How is everyone doing?" she looks ot Ambro and bows her head towards her "It's been a long time, good to see you"

"Just the cutest little knight we ever did see," Dasia affirms to Trey. Not with the twang some southern belle like one might expect of such a phrase, so it's a little weird. "You need to start the training young, so they're ready to fight off monsters strait out of the Chrysalis," she says with a nod, as though it's sage wisdom everyone should know. It may be unsettling how cutesy she's being, what with the resting bitch face and all. Or maybe people have seen stranger things. When he starts kicking, she even bobs her head in his direction. "See? It's almost like it's leg day!"

"I would love to make the acquaintance of your friend, Kieran. I'm fairly easy to find as I spend most days on the Islands but if you think she might not wish to dock send word and I will visit elsewhere?" Amber suggests. "Just warn me if I need to bring someone to keep my head for me?" Amber requests before she's distracted by Dasia, Erin, and Eric. Her nose wrinkles in an annoyingly lovely way and her laugh predictably hits chime-like notes. "It's hard for me to come out of the Orrery these days." She says in an apologetic tone to the Knocker before once more turning to regard Trey. She stares for a few moments with a searching expression before smiling, "Erin has always made friends easily. She's a wonderful companion to have at the Market, Trey. I am.."

"The Baroness Philomène Antionette de Lilijudicaël.." Max rumbles from his spot.

Amber exhales and inclines her head at the Chimera with a patient smile. "However Amber is fine... We are not here on official business. Just snacks.." She gestures with her spoon toward her honey. Trey smiles a crooked, amused smile at the very idea of the baby being a Knight already, but then, they may have had a Seer look into his future and-- oh. What House sigil is that one, anyway? He's sure there's more to this, but he's not going to press. "I'll have to remember to get him something special for his Chrysalis," he tells Erin. Trey sketches another bow toward the Baroness, and nods as he realizes the other cat-fellow is a chimera. Clearly, Trey is much cooler, right? "It's my pleasure to meet you, my l-- Amber. We're just here sightseeing, and shopping a little."

Kieran says, “Honestly? I think she'd love to dock and take a look around. Or at least swim over on this side." She grins at Max and the others, "So less need for your retinue to worry about your security.”

Erin smiles as she keeps bouncing Eric and smiles softly as she nods to Amber "I haven't been to your island since we saved it so very very very long ago" she smiles "Some day I will have to return" she nods "Or was that another island" she looks thoughtful. She smiles to Dasia "Oh we plan to teach him young trust me. " she nodsnods then looks to Trey. She looks to Kee "i am sure there is a boat that will take you there and you won't have to swim well unless you rather swim."

"Please make sure it's something grand," Dasia tells Trey, about Eric's Chrysalis-gift. "I wouldn't want to give the lad the best gift and everything else is crap. Make it a challenge for me," she teases. Or it could be worse, she could be entirely serious. She isn't even the child's faerie godmother, and she's already competing.

Mention of Docks gets her attention, too. "Deirdre finally going to put in to port out on the isles?" she asks. "If she lets me know ahead of time, I'd love to catch a ride. If not, there's always the trod." She looks concerned. Both terribly valid ways of getting somewhere. But which to choose? What would be the most... SERENDIPITOUS? "She'll want to visit the fishmongers and visit any beaches or coves, I'm sure."

Ambrosine nods, "There are ferries, of course. Or the trods.." She lifts a hand gesturing to the Amethyst Tower that sits not far beyond the college. "Which lead there." The Baroness takes another bite of her lavender blossoms in honey and chews thoughtfully for a moment. Kee's comment to Max gains a Cheshire smile but keeps his nose out of the conversation for the moment. "I believe you're remembering the correct Islands. But it's been almost a decade so I can see why it might be hard to remember." Her words much older than her appearance. "Hopefully you've managed to find something worth your while?" She looks between Erin and Trey when the Kithain says they're shopping. "I hear there's a few new shops since I last explored more than the Southwest Quarter."

"The Bazaar is a favorite of Selkies and even some Merfolk."

Trey chuckles at Dasia's insistence on the gift's quality. "Of course. But I'm sure you will provide something more grand." He's a pretty humbly dressed guy, after all -- but then again, there are billionaires who wear thrift-store clothes, right? He nods eagerly at the query about finding things worthy of their time. "Faerie-silver and semi-precious gems to craft with," he notes, pleased about this. "There's so much to see here... it's wondrous." He then falls atypically quiet, letting the others discuss the islands, and associated things, taking it all in with feline curiosity.

Erin is smiling as she is listening as she bounces Eric. She turns him to fly him as she moves around and smiles. She tilts her head "Decade sounds about right."

Kieran says, “Well, it's all relatively new to me, since I only got here a couple of months ago." She grins, "But that's the wonder of new places, right? Always more to explore. I need to get back out to the island market, myself, for that still.”

Dasia nods. "So much sea around, since, uh... it's in all directions," she says. Incredibly observant of her. "So the Bazaar having all manner of fish makes sense." Almost too much sense. Like it's a conspiracy. She shakes her head, and looks to the slowly darkening skies. "Speaking of babysitting some still-life classes," she says - almost grumbles, in fact - "I have an appointment fast-approaching that I should probably keep, if I don't want to lose my stipend for teaching a bunch of idiots which end of a paintbrush to use." She looks to Amber first, then Trey, "It was nice meeting both of you."

Amber nods to Trey, "Isn't it all? Wonderous, Amazing, never the same." After another spoon ful of the honey from the jar she cleans her spoon and tucks it away in the pocket of her ultraviolet peacoat. Max reaches to snag the closed jar and tuck it away in a satchel he's wearing. As they discuss the Lodestone Islands the Baroness muses towards the Clurichaun and Eshu, "I'd also suggest seeing the sister isles as well. Really, I may be biased but there's no shortage of mysteries to explore. It feels like it's been my home for always and I still find new things all the time." The honey eating Noble breezes to Kee. Sometimes in the Spring there's an artist who comes through and sells the most delicate and intricate colored glass insects. All sorts of people, really, come in on the boats."

Amber smiles to Dasia, "It was my pleasure to meet you." The Sidhe smiles. "I hope to meet you again.."

Erin was making Eric laugh but soon the laughs turn to fusses as the little one seems to be done with the game. She looks around then smiles "I think it's time to get this little one home he is about done

Erin gives the little one a kiss and helps Eric wave to everyone "We will see you all soon" she smiles.

Kieran waves to those who are departing, "Have a good night!" before turning her attention back to the Baroness. "Are the glass insects... animate, or just like... figurines?"
