Ironsides has been in and out of the Sept for a couple of years now, tending to go traveling when things are quiet and not all hands are needed on deck. He's recently returned from a visit with his family's sept in Montana, and is settling back in while trying to introduce himself to the younger Get that have moved into the area.

Taika: Don't know what to make of him other than he builds good cabins.
