Last Time! On Life and Death...

A shipyard in Prospect's harbor district, the place is fenced off on all sides. A security checkpoint is the only way in, with a guard at the booth stationed to check people in and out. It is your typical shipyard, with several pallets of large ship materials from steel to electronic equipment, warehouses for storage and amenities needed for the severely heavy labor. There are three 'docks' to the shipyard, each filled with a ship in a varied stage of construction or deconstruction flanked by massive cranes. There are spotlights that traverse the grounds and armed guards who patrol the shipyard. There are signs on the fence showing that this is a private company's shipyard, that there is no trespassing and violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Li Bong, Silvana and Daisy, having arrived first, found a means to bypass the guard - a hole in the fence surrounded by bushes. Daisy taking to the Shadowlands, the three made their way toward the second dock, to a deconstructed ship where Silvana senses the sole survivor is hiding. Others, however, are also on the trail of the survivor, and meet them halfway...

Scene

Li Bong and Silvana have begun their investigation at the front of the shipyard. But the cinematic Lens-of-God pivots, going to the other end of the Shipyard, where DeadPixel and Sin are approaching.

Both of you have tracked the sole survivor of the Tamerlane to here - A private shipyard. It is closed to the public and completely fenced - even with barb wire. Spotlights are active and roaming the vicinity interior and every now and again, a guard can be seen wandering. Three ships are docked in each of the three terminals in various stages of deconstruction...or construction. Difficult to determine which.

In the shadowlands the place is a stye. Debris from long-ancient ships are just tossed randomly across the shipyard, making traversing on foot difficult to avoid making noise. The Tempest roars with vigilance just off shore to the cackling-mad laughs of whatever haunts those winds. For now, there is merely a fence, some spotlights, and some guards as DeadPixel and Sin arrive.

Silvana looks towards Li bong as that's who she is with and guestures for him to hold as some guards are walking by when they pass she guetures not that he will need it but she offers the clear to move further to the ship they were heading too.

Sin-Eater is of course going to just ignore the guards, what does she care aboutu the quick and what they are doing, no skin off her back so to speak as she just wanders along carrying her only weapon, her lantern, and exploring the area trying to pick up the trail of her prey.

DeadPixel crouches down and swings her messenger bag to the front, pulling out some fabric and tools. Cutting a crude badge out of the fabric, she proceeds to sew it onto the front of her shirt to make sure no one will see her as anything but a real security guard. With this accomplished she puts the equipmente back into her bag, slings it to her back, adjusts it, and then stands up. Leaning forward, she grips her hands on the chainlink fence and peers in, trying to get a better idea of what's before her.

Sin-Eater breaches the fence, going into the shipyard which, now out in the open, show two Nihils having been ripped in the area of the grouds.
For DeadPixel, the effect goes off, and pressing yourself to the fence you see two guards. In the distance, on the other side of the shipyard, you see two figures darting between spotlights and guards. (Li Bong and Silvana, if she would recognize them).

<WRAITH> Sin-Eater frowns at the Nihils and makes a note to avoid those things like the plague that killed her. She sees the darting figures and frowns, "What are the quick up too I wonder?" She decides to continue her search, and investigation though, having to be very careful of the gates to oblivion that are open, and being noticed and things coming out that are not nice to people of her living status.

Well there's something interesting," DeadPixel mumbles seemingly to herself. It doesn't take much to get her curiosity going, and she decides to find the entrance of the gate. Walking through the entrance, she heads towards the figures she saw racing by, real casual like as if she belongs here. DeadPixel has no problem being followed by ... the air ... though she doesn't make much of an effort to include. Rather she simply acts, and if others join, great. DeadPixel reaches into her bag, and dons a pair of leather gloves, makes extra sure her messenger bag is secured to her back, and then ... up-and-over.

The SS T-MER--NE (the words difficult to read) is a ship broken in half. It is easy to climb aboard, simply walk the gangplank. It looks to be refurbushed steel from some larger ship, getting cut and sculpted into a new design for some other purpose. For Li Bong and Silvana, the girl is here...somewhere. Silvana can sense it. Inside the ship.
Daisy, who saw two wraiths scooting along earlier, has now lost them as they disappear behind tempest winds.

Li Bong follows Silvana's lead, his gun out and held like a pro. "If you can still sense her, lead on, Miss Bethancourt. I will cover you." He whispers, round-rimmed glasses peering around them as they move.

Pulling out a flashlight, DeadPixel makes her way passed the security guards that see her as one of their own, and towards the ganplank, making her way onto the ship.

<WRAITH> Daisy casually walks along, occasionally twirling the sword in her hand and whistling softly as if she's not paying any attention to her surroundings. If those sneaky freakies want to start something, she'd pose herself as the easier target. Though being in full plate armor with a shield and sword doesn't make her look entirely helpless, it wasn't an uncommon look on this side. She stays within sight range of the other two, not wanting to lose track of the mortals on the living side.

<WRAITH> Sin-Eater continues to act on the assumption the quick have no idea she is there and makes her way to the boat and on board. Following along after the others who somehow know where tehy are going though she cannot sense anyone or anything really around her it would seem.

Silvana nods towards Li Bong as she makes her way towards the ship. She looks around making sure that the guards haven't spotted them as she gets on the ship her hand is at her side.

As you climb aboard the ship, each of you are greeted by a similar flash. You blink, and a man in roman armor is running at you shouting at the top of his lungs. He gets close enough that you see the whites of his eyes as the sword comes down on you...and then nothing. To some others, you see a jaguar warrior, point at you. A shout, and the javelin impales you. But then there is nothing. As if the shadows of the ship are playing on themselves.

No one is scared...yet.

Clearly by his tense mannerisms, Li Bong is no stranger to fear. For some people, fear is a motivator. It gives one purpose. It builds conviction. Plus, he's got a gun. "Be careful, Miss Bethancourt. There is something here. Something... dangerous." He whispers, weapon held at the ready, somewhat tighter against his chest rather than extended.

DeadPixel blinks, lightly, but it still happens. Still, her curiosity gets the better of her and she continues into the ship, looking around, and trying to make a decision on whether or not she should turn on her flashlight.

Li Bong's gun came up at each vision, but he's got enough control not to shoot the apparitions. He grimaces. "This is where they say they have bad feelings about this." He mutters, then notices Dead Pixel. And Sin-Eater. One of them he recognizes... and that's good enough.

<WRAITH> Sin-Eater is pretty stalwart, and just blinks a few times as the image plays out. Dead have to do far more than that to scare her after all, she has been dead for AGES, not like she can die again. She is ot one of those quick with somemthing to lose.

Silvana breath catches when the vision is projected. She takes a breath before she adjust her pack and then returns her hand to her side as she gives a slight shiver and shakes her head as to shake the effect off. She purses her lips as she looks around "Sil please and you as well" she says softly as she looks around after making sure to get out of the way so others can board. She crotches down to see if she can find any foot prints. There

The ship is small. By far not as large or as massive as the Tamerlane. There is a staircase going down into the bowels of the empty ship. A light is on, somewhere below. Daisy, upon stepping onto the ship, feels the presence of 1 person.

Silvana looking towards Li Bong "Have your weapon at the ready. " she looks towards the others "Well I guess down we go?" she moves to her bag and pulls out a pair of sunglasses and puts them on.

Stopping at the stairs, Li Bong waits for the others to join. He looks up and then around for Daisy, unsure if she's still with them. "If the flying warrior is still here, she should lead. With that armor... I would feel safer behind her."

<WRAITH> Daisy grips her blade tightly as she follows the others by her parallel route. Looking over the ship, she decides that now is not a time to play games, and wills her true self to the surface. Her flesh hardens and takes on a metallic gray and crimson patterns as flesh becomes as malleable armor. The demonic armor she wears form fits to her apoc visage, bolting itself into place. Soon there was no Daisy anymore, just Dazriel. She mutters something in enochian to herself and leaps into the air towards the ship like a bullet. It would appear she IS still with them!

"ohyousawittoo," DeadPixel mumbles, "Well I guess that's good." Reaching into her bag, she pulls out a sharpie, hooking the clip onto the front of her messenger bag strap. After that she reaches in once more to pulls out a chain with an attached lock, which she grips in both her hands as if it's meant to be an improvised melee weapon of some sorts.

Li Bong definitely gets behind the mostly naked jumping lady with the unrealistic armor. ;-)

Going down below deck, it is empty. Daisy's spooks are nowhere to be seen. Blood trails splattered across the ship however are plentiful in the shadowlands here as if something both tragic and terrible happened. Like any good corporation, whoever is rebuilding this ship has been washing it away, but the stain of Oblivion is impossible to wash away completely and horror and pain linger like a thick taste in the air. To those who followed the leader (Daisy) you hear crying, somewhere in the ship. Someone calling for papa.
Sin drops down below decks, transparent as as any wraith who bypasses objects. At the bottom of the ship is the hull. A layer of steel that keep you from the void below (the ocean, not Oblivion). In the corner, clutching a teddy bear, is a completely drenched, fully clothed, twelve year old girl. She doesn't notice Sin.
Daisy's Tremor-Sense triggers.

"Light," whispers Li Bong, to Dead Pixel behind him. He nods toward the girl, and lacking empathy, he doesnt rush over to check and console her. Instead, he pans his weapon around the darkness of the room - expecting 'IT' to be there. Somewhere.

Silvana looking around she keeps an eye behind them to make sure nothing sneaks up behind them as the others make their way down the stairs. She is last to see the child as she is the last one to come down the steps.

DeadPixel grabs her flashlight, points it at the ground, and flicks it on, slowly she begins to bring it up and scan around, giving her and others time to see what might be there. "aretheresupposedtobelivingpeoplehere?" DeadPixel mumbles almost to herself.

<WRAITH> Daisy steps in front of the others then stops, looking them over. "Our numbers have grown." She states simply, and starts inside, leading the others at a careful but swift pace. She turns as Sin starts to go down through the floor. "Sin. There are two of...something below you. Be careful."
