The cave was picked due to the distance from town, also from the bar it is half way in the middle, cold night air outside but right now there is a fire and the men are tied up left there with a sound of pain and rage coming out of them, but for now they are not fighting. One is a large Irish man with a large mohawk, the other is a woman with piercing green eyes, and the last is a short man with a bad teeth foul smelling breath.
Ryla is here. Back in homid form, but baseball bat in hand. She waits quietly for the Philodox to take charge of this part of the action. Her hair in exact place, and all 5' of her looking fierce... ok not fierce, just as strong as the toothpick can.
Hjalmar's watching these people. Observing them as they are sitting there, all tied up. Hie blue eyes moving from person to person. "So." His voice deep and clear. "Tell me.. How many more of you are there at your hive. And where is this hive located. What are its entrances. And.. What was the thing that made that sound before we went to this place?" He's not using gifts yet.. But tries to see what can be gained this way first.
The lead kinfolk the one with the mohawk, motions for Hjalmar to bend down, to whisper something to him.
Erin and Kringer are here somewhat in the back as she leans against the panther who is watching the three as if they were lunch.
Kaati ...does not look like herself, with her face so expressionless and her jaw set. "You don't have to ask," she says quietly. "I can probably just rip it from his mind."
Hjalmar shakes his head at the mohawk. "No. You can say it aloud. I will not bend down for you." He smiles at the man. A smile that looks friendlier than it probably is. "Just make this easier for yourself. And talk. You've already lost. And nothing shall be gained by withholding the information I ask for... Unless." He gestures to the others. "You want me to let them use their myriad ways to gain it? Most will be far less pleasant than mine."
"She can suck my cock, nice and long I'll tell her all of it when she swallows good." The man with the mohawk spits down with a wicked little chuckle,as he looks right at Kaati."I bet those lips would look great on my fucking cock."
The other two chuckle at the line and all of them spitting now with a weird yellowish orange spit from the sick one, but they are amused.
Ryla thumps the baseball bat in her hand. The Ragabash acting like a thug? She grins, considering if a little Wrath of Gaia would help, but that probably would not in this situation.
Rolling her eyes as she crosses her arms "Men and always thinking with their dicks. I am sure it's very tiny and all.. Maybe we can just cut it off and then he will think more clearly then.... I mean it's just a suggestion" Erin speaks up in somewhat of an annoyed expression. Kringer's tail keeps swaying back and forth.
Ryla sees that they have some sick, and it is not going overly well with the dick waving and all. She moves over and approaches the sick one, staying far enough away, and still not speaking - just observing.
Kaati smiles, an expression that is more about bared teeth than friendliness. She doesn't speak, at least not to him; she just kneels down, pulls out the sidewalk chalk, and starts drawing something on the cave floor.
Hjalmar does not stop Kaati as she sets up. He looks at the mohawk idiot and shrugs. "Your call." He turns to Kaati and nods. "Take it from him. And no need to be gentle." He looks back up at the man and smiles. A brow raises at their unified spitting and a snarl of disgust shows on his face. He turns towards the others of the group. "Do make sure that the entrance to this place. And the Umbra are both watched."
The mandala grows more and more complex, and Kaati begins to murmur softly, as if to herself, in some foreign and decidedly non-european language. Even after she's finished the design, her hands continue to move, her eyes following the paths and intersections. She pockets the bit of chalk and tugs her knife from its sheath behind her back, drawing a little blood from her forearm and then anointing the center of the mandala with a drop. The knife--which looks like a venerable antique, the horn handle age-yellowed--gets carefully cleaned before she sheaths it again. Her hand remains bloody.
Ryla nods to Hjalmar, and will take a place near the door.
Kaati's eyes remain cold as she steps over to the bound captive. She reaches out with one hand, while the other draws the knife. A moment later his mohawk is rather crooked, a large swath of hair cut away so that it sticks out shorter than the rest. "Inandobani," she whispers. "Iningadeniim, gawiin." The fistful of his hair is tossed on the ground, her boot stepping on it. Then a bloody, small hand reaches for the prisoner's face and grasps his jaw. "Suck on *this*, you fucking piece of trash."
Hjalmar keeps at the ready as Kaati performs her ritual. Watching and ready to act if there's need for it. And so far. It all is most intriguing. Well. Kaati's part is. Their prisoners.. Less so.
Erin is watching quietly and what Kaati is doing. She looks a little thoughtful then gives a little shrug when no comeback about the cutting off is offered not that she thought anyone would say yes probably a good thing.
Kaati's eyes widen suddenly and she snaps a word that sounds very much like a curse. 'FUCK,' after all, has the same inflection in any language. And then the knife is back in her hand, the pommel end swinging around hard toward the man's temple in an attempt to knock him out.
The knife bounces off his head with a snarl of rage, and then all three of them are standing up, as they cackle, it seems like this is go time."Time to kill them boys, and girls."
Ryla can see there is trouble, and steps over, as she fluidly grows into her Glabro form. The bat is pulled back and then she smacks it right upside the head of the first kin. Down he goes, in a pile, knocked clean out.
Hjalmar sees Kaati's reaction and instantly knows that it is bad. He does not wait for it and lets the rage loose. He feels himself shift. And whilst doing so, he slashes out with his right arm. Making it connect to his target the moment his shift finishes. And thus, a full powered blow is being delivered, insta killing the one he went for. Bye bye Mohawk,
The knife falls from Kaati's hand and she takes a few swift steps back, putting distance between herself and the no-longer-prisoners. One hand tugs a gun from somewhere under her jacket, and she calls out a warning: "He's awakened! Take him out fast!"
Erin has been waiting for something to happen though she might have threw out the whole little insult with no reply but she has been working up something as she mumbles a little to herself circling or drawing on her arm. Since everyone was keeping an eye on them it was easily missed but as shit goes down her voice grows "Entrap, make that woman free in a prison of ice till I see fit to release thee" she presses her hand into her arm hard and before everyone's eyes the woman prisoner is encase in a foot of ice.
Ryla stays as Glabro, looking over the one she knocked out. "I'm not sure we are going to get more out of them. Might be best to use them to track down the place. Although we do know where the one Hive was, and the direction the rest of those that fled were going. I'm not sure these are redeemable or of much more use."
Hjalmar flicks of the mohawk guy's face from his claws. An eyeball landing against the wall with a dull wet thud. Before slithering down to the ground as he does so. He looks down to the body of the defaced mohawk and then around. Seeing how another is Knocked out. And the woman is entombed in ice. He then looks at Ryla and shakes his head. <<We will try it once more. Though I fear you might be correct.>> He looks at Kaati. "You alright? Can you do it again with the woman? Or no good?"
Kaati's breathing is ragged in the quiet that comes after. "*Nephandus*," she whispers, in a way that makes it sound like the worst of epithets. She's pale, staring at the ruined thing on the floor that used to be an obnoxious guy with a Mohawk. "We should make sure neither of the others is awakened," she says, her voice hoarse. "Or just kill them. That-- It could have gone a lot worse, if he'd gotten into someone's head." She takes a deep breath, and then another--despite the charnel smells of death and blood. Without looking at Hjalmar, she gives a little nod. "Yeah," she says. "Okay."
Erin rubs a little at her arm maybe she hit it a little harder than she was expecting and looks at the woman that is in the ice "She is going to suffecate in there, maybe she would be willing to talk for some air?" she shrugs in suggestion "At least we can get some numbers maybe out of their heads...." she looks puzzled about something but will ask the questions later. She pats Kringer who stands up the lazy cat is ready in case he is needed.
Ryla considers. "Give her a chance to answer. But I think they are lost causes. It was worth a try. But they are of the Wyrm."
SB shrugs. <<Aye. Probably so.>> Then looks at Erin and nods. "Sounds good." He then steps closer to the woman, and takes a deep scent of her.. And shakes his head. "Not awakened. Just Kin." The same is done with the other prisoner. And the same result seems to be the case. He then gestures to the woman. And the man. "Proceed."
Kaati jerks her chin toward the unconscious one. "I'll try him," she says quietly. "If you guys want to question the other."
Erin quietly watches and moves closer towards the woman so she can be closer and knocks on the ice "Hey, you want to answer their questions? you might breath if your good blink 1 time for yes or blink 2 times for no" she smirks and lets the others handle stuff.
The woman looks at her and blinks lots times for for some reason, then if you speak anything number based it is a over and over again, as if he is looking at the Erin.
Ryla watches it. "Erin. End her. She is done." As is Ryla. "I think we are done here. I'll collect the heads, and we should be plan the next step."
Kaati doesn't *touch* her intended ...interogee, this time. She draws the mandala *around* the prone form, like a prison, touching her blood to it again. She's chanting softly again, as she drops to a crouch a couple of steps away.
SB nods. "Agreed. She chose death." Then he looks to the one Kaati is working at. "We wait with this one, for her to finish first."
Kaati shudders a little and then rises, the movement smooth. She moves to pick up her knife, cleaning it again before sheathing it. "The place you think is the hive, isn't. I have three targets for you." She's slightly pale, still, and wears that expressionless mask again. "The pack is big, they're nomadic, headed south."
Scratching the back of her head as she nods "Well if we just leave her there she'll surficate on her own.. Then you can take her head or do you want me to.." Erin looks thoughtful " I can freeze her from the inside out but then she'll become brittle.." she hmms again "Ok so I have never gotten this far" she laughs and stands back as she seems to try and consider then looks to Ryla "I can drop the ice around her head and then you can chop it off."
Ryla seems like a sociopath sometimes with all the heads she collects. That is Eagle for you. "Let her suffocate, if that will not take too long. We will need to be sure they get disposed of and this place cleansed. I'll take the head then." For Kaati she says, "That is good intel. We should still check all of them out. It will take time, but we need to act before too late and they move on - corrupting further."
SB nods at Kaati's information. "Very well done." He nods at Ryla's assessment. "Agreed. We need to make haste. Lest they strengthen themselves in anticipation of our arrival." Then back to Kaati and the prisoner. "Shall I end his suffering? Or do you want to do it yourself?"
Erin nods slowly "Ok, not sure never suffocated someone before" she shrugs a little bit and gives the woman in ice the finger before she walks away.
