Introduction

Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand.

I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.

Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't comin' back,

Burn the land, boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.

RP Hooks
Theurge: She's a wiz at making strange and unusual fetishes and talens. If you need something, she can make it, if you aren't sure of what spirit to call, she can fill you in.

Umbra: Iris travels the umbra a lot, possibly more than is strictly healthy for a flesh based creature. As such, she's an expert guide for any realm. If you need to get somewhere, she can tell you how and what to expect when you get there.

Travel: She likes to travel a lot, mostly in the umbra. Whether it's going to other planets or visiting strange and alien umbral realms, she's ready and able. The physical world isn't out of line either, she'll gladly travel anywhere on planet earth just for the sake of seeing some cool stuff. She lives part time in the real world with her mate Branton, and the rest of her time in the Aethereal realm on a ship she constructed of spirit stuff.

Attitude: Iris isn't entirely right in the head, sees too much of reality all at once, and is highly bound to her phase of the moon, making her successful and joyous on the waxing crescent, and cold and prone to mistakes during the waning crescent. She's generally very chill, doesn't enjoy eating or drinking anything that's not entirely raw and natural, and likes to talk a lot. A Trickster by Nature, she enjoys teaching "lessons", especially hilarious ones to people that upset her. She does not always remember who she knows or what she's done.

Life Goals: To drive everyone crazy, probably. Also, creating a grand orrery of realities realms and zones, spanning the solar system, that the Nation might forecast their umbral excursions and avoid death and loss, and perhaps peek into those places to find the target of their needs.

Notable Stats
Pancake5.jpg

As an elder, all of Iris's stat values are bullshit. So instead, here's some interesting and unusual stuff she has that you might enjoy learning from her, maybe:

Science, Astrology, Astronomy, Mathematics, Meteorology, Navigation, Physics, Cosmology, Fire Dancing, Boat Handling, Pilot, Juggling, Flight, Instruction, Occult, Acrobatics, and probably several other useless but interesting stats!

Pegasus

Like the Black Furies it holds under its wings, Pegasus is chiefly concerned with protecting sacred places. It comes to its packs as a winged horse with fire in its eyes, and it teaches them Gifts associated with travel and air. Because of the rivalry between the Black Furies and the Get of Fenris, Pegasus will never accept a pack with even one Get member. (WW:tA Rev, p 294) Rage 2, Gnosis 4, Willpower 2

The Children of Pegasus can call upon an extra three Willpower points per story, and gain three dice in an Animal Ken dice pool. Each pack member gains two points of Honor Renown. Black Furies are well disposed toward the pack.

Charms

Ease Pain This charm allows the garou to ease a material creature's pain for a scene. It heals no damage, but soothes even the most terrible wounds. When the charm fades, the garou can use it again, spending one Gnosis each hour or so. If the garou departs, the pain returns. (Axis Mundi p 157)

Purify The garou can remove toxins from physical beings (such as Garou). The garou spends one Gnosis per health level to heal damage from poisons. An additional expenditure of two Gnosis flushes the poison from a being's system. (Axis Mundi p 158)

Kindle This charm gives thegarou the ability to kindle life's fragile spark wherever that potential exists. Thus garou with this ability may cause seeds to germinate, fertilization to occur, or fruit to grow on trees. This charm also allows the garou to kindle powerful emotions in other beings. At their most powerful, these emotions can blot out other emotions in the target for the duration of the scene or until the garou leaves. Spend 1 Gnosis and roll Gnosis vs the local Gauntlet, or vs the target's WP in the case of emotional kindling. (Axis Mundi p 157)

Ban
