Hyo is a Monster Hunter, but that does not mean she indiscriminately hunts down supernaturals. Far from it, she is a Sorceress herself who uses Shadowcasting with the philosophy of using the darkness against the darkness. Under the guise of a P.I. or private security, depending on the situation she seeks out only those who would bring harm to the innocent and defenseless. Until recently she was raised in and part of a security firm called Thunderhead Investigations; but they all met a messy end in their own building and she was the only survivor having suffered a spinal injury that left her paraplegic. She sought out her old friend November, surprised to find November was in fact an Angel cast out of Heaven, and has devoted herself to November in exchange suppressing her spinal injury. As Asmodyl's Thrall her mission is not much changed, she simply remains devotedly at her Angel's side.
