6/11/2022 13:59:06 Erin is here early she must of been out for a walk or something. She is sitting over at one of the logs with her cat. She seems to be talking to it as it rubs up against her getting all kinds of pets and attention.

6/11/2022 14:03:22 Mira is walking side by side with Jackie as they approach Erin, not her usual chipper self as she holds her head in her hands. She does seem to brighten up as she sees the kitty though, "Morning, Erin. Is that your cat?" She rubs her head one last time before crouching down to offer her hand out for the cat to sniff.

6/11/2022 14:08:08 Erin smiles and looks at the two of you curiously "Too much drinking last night?" she smiles "I'm great.. Sorry I passed out. I guess I was more tired than I thought and when I was fall and comfy out I went" she blushes, then nods "Yes this is Kringer. He was a little upset that I didn't let him come to eat with us yesterday.." she looks at the cat a moment.

6/11/2022 14:12:04 Jackie stretches, twisting her neck in both directions. "Well, it was a pretty full day. Not that we actually completed the original mission."

She groans before smiling down at the cat and scritching just under his ear, "Hi Kringer, you're such a pretty kitty aren't you? Yes you are." She looks up at Erin and Jackie, "So, what is the plan today girls? I feel like getting into trouble." She laughs and nods at Jackie, "We didn't at all, we went for bathing suits and completely forgot about them."

6/11/2022 14:15:43 Erin laughs softly "Well we went to the wrong store for that.. maybe we should go to the right one this time.. Goggle and see if there is a bathing suit store" She sees Sten and her smile just brightens. She's sitting at one of the logs mind you the lazy thing.

She spots Sten and offers him a wave in return, "Came to get dragged along again? Yesterday didn't scare you off?" She laughs softly before tilting her head at Erin, "I can't think of any swimwear stores.. that's definitely a google question." She slips her phone from her pocket to check.

She nods in agreement with Jackie, "Same, a lot to learn honestly. I rarely go to the beach but learning to surf could be a lot of fun." She nods at Erin, "I think rentals would be best to start with, though we didn't have to buy our dresses yesterday so I have a bit of spending money."

6/11/2022 15:19:33 Jackie enters, her eyes rolling up and over the arched ceiling with all the boards, then looks across the store floor. "Wow, they sure take it seriously here, huh?"

6/11/2022 15:20:24 Erin did the same thing to STen that she did yesterday so he is easily not noticed or payed attention too. He can be all creepy and no one will know well the girls would. She wows softly "I think we might be getting a surf board" she laughs as she blows a little air as she sticks close to the girls and Sten when they first come in.

6/11/2022 15:23:38 Mira seems amazed as she enters the shop, eyes turning one way and another as she takes it all in. "Wooow." She turns to Jackie, "You aren't kidding, this place is huge!" She looks around in a sort of daze, "Where do we even start? Should we look for bathing suits first or surfing boards?"

6/11/2022 15:23:54 Jackie pokes through the wetsuit collection for a bit before pulling out a brightly colored legless one. "Hmmm, think my legs would freeze in something like this? I've heard the Pacific is cold water, how bad is it really?"

6/11/2022 15:29:12 Sten looks to Jackie "I grew up in Sweden, not really to affected by the cold so... I can not tell you to be honest. Usually swam in the lake during winter. Then of course in to the sauna right after but" shrugging

6/11/2022 15:32:57 Jackie turns and answers Mira, still holding the wetsuit she was looking at. "I was thinking more of a bodysuit, myself. The water temp is one thing, and the sun is another. I don't want to turn into a lobster out there."

Just in case the wetsuit gets too hot when your not surfing" she hmms "The water is pretty cold but I think you'd be ok with something like that Jackie, just depends how cold you get.. Is it your arms or legs that get the most cold?"

She beams at her before sifting through all of the swimwear, humming thoughtfully as she tries to find the perfect piece. She nods as Jackie and Erin offer their advice, "Good idea, we could all get both."

She hmms at Sten, about to respond before Erin answers and she nods, "And if we are taking lessons we need something to wear." She taps a finger against her purse as she considers Erin's question, "I think I'll go with a bikini."

6/11/2022 16:23:35 Mira places the brown one back where she found it before gasping and rushing over to Jackie, "Oh wooow, that one is so pretty! I think it would be a good color on me, better than the brown." She takes it and holds it up to herself, "Better?"

6/11/2022 16:49:51 Mira peeks closer at the suit, "Is that what that is? I couldn't tell at first." She nods, "Ok let's get suited up, then do you want to go look at the surf boards with me?" She hmms, "I'm clueless when it comes to surfing so I don't know what to look for."

6/11/2022 16:59:08 Jackie starts heading for the changing rooms, nodding. "Yeah, we should probably make sure they fit before checking out. And yeah, I don't know anything about boards either. We can take a look at them, but I'm not buying anything until after the classes. There's apparently a discount for that too."

6/11/2022 17:03:36 Mira nod nods before leaving to change herself. After a lengthy amount of time she returns, pulling at the fabric of the bodysuit as it hugs her body showing off her shapely form. "Well.. they aren't too tight. Feels comfy really, very warm. Almost like a second skin." She beams, "Both fit for me, I have the bikini on under it." She waits for Jackie before walking over towards the boards section.

6/11/2022 17:06:08 Jackie comes out of the changing room a few minutes later. She twists her torso and stretches a few times, getting a feel for it. "Yeah, not too bad. The big floppy zipper pull seems like it'll be annoying, but you probably get used to it fast."

"She looks Jackie over, "Fits really nice, looks great too!" She beams at her before looking up at the boards with wide eyes, "Umm.. I don't even know what would be good for beginners.. I'm a bit lost here."

She shrugs and leans back in her seat, a yawn escaping her before she can stop it. " I should have grabbed some coffee or something, would have been great for my headache." She rubs her temple before pulling out her phone to flip through the photo from the other day. "You should send me your dress photos and I'll send you mine." She smiles at Jackie, "We all looked so good yesterday. It wasn't something I was expecting to do at all but I'm glad I did."

And oh, yeah, that all kind of came out of nowhere. It turned out well though, I think. Uh, sure, I can forward those to you if you want." She digs her phone out of the coat pocket and flips through the gallery, selecting her solo shots and sending them to Mira's number.

She hmms before saying, "You know once we learn to surf I'll be dragging you to the beach every chance I get right?" She giggles, "We'll be true Cali girls in no time." She frowns down at her pale skin, "I definitely need the sun, though it's hard for me to tan anyways. I have to sunburn myself to look any different."

And Lorna was talking about a lot of biker culture on the beach, showing off the bikes and stuff. But yeah, the sun is dangerous. Scandinavian ancestry doesn't mix so well with tanning, right?"

She hmms before nodding, "We would fit right in at a bike show." She winces, "Yeah.. I don't have a lot of pigments myself, so I know how that feels." She smiles at Jackie, "You know.. I don't know if you feel the same but you're practically a sister to me. I'm glad we're friends." She leans back and closes her eyes, still appearing to be struggling with her aching head.

She laughs and adds, "I'm looking forward to it, I haven't burned rubber in a while. Though I need to get my mustang thrown together first."

The doors open to release both Jackie and Mira, who gather shopping bags and a fresh bottle of bourbon from the rear hatch of the car. Jackie waves a hand as they approach the group. She nods as Jackie speaks, "I thought it was neat, always wanted to go to space."

Well, maybe not the game, though I suspect if it's popular then that likely exists in a place of games and stories. When things are very popular, or very loved or hated or some other strong feeling is connected to them, not on a personal level but a societal or even species level, then a place consisting of that thing usually comes into being, and births spirits related to that concept. The television realm is a good example, people love TV, so it's a place, the beloved and hated characters live there and have lives there." Iris snirks a quiet laugh and says, "I don't blame you for thinking that, but I assure you, my psychedelic trips are way more tame."
