-Country Estate - Back Yard(#21403R)

The tamed part of the back yard covers only about 10,000 square feet, which really isn't that big. The rest of it sprawls out into dense forest with a couple of clearings here and there. But up near the house, there is a 10 foot wall of asymmetrical stone with ivy and other trailing plants mostly obscuring it.

The large patio boasts a built in fire pit with standard wicker furniture around it. There's a little picnic table to the left and a large charcoal grill and smoker over on that side.

The centerpiece of the back yard though, is the cat run. There is a large central open fenced chamber and several covered and fenced walk ways that lead back to the house. Along the way are little kitty scratching posts and places to hide here and there.

There's food. There's a lot of food. All spread out over the very comfortable back yard. The cat run is empty, of course, and there's a lock on the door. It's a little lock, but it's indicative of 'stay out'. The gate is open to allow people to come in and the kitchen door is open so people can wander back and forth. Should someone go inside, there will be a little rope at the steps leading up which also indicates 'not party area' but the downstairs is open. There's music playing and a little area set up for karaoke. And there's a bouncy house for children, and just plain old pizza for the littles who might not like change. There are even a couple of kinfolk who are running the huge buffet to make sure people get what they need. Also, open bar!

Extra chairs and tables have been set out in the backyard for use by guests, as well as the furniture in the house of course. The BBQ is fired up with some rather strange looking, breaded round things cooking in a sweet and savory smelling sauce, and this is where Lindsey presently stands. Turning those breaded round things over in the sauce so they cook evenly. She will offer waves to people as they arrive, indicate the bar to those so inclined and mention soda and juice available for the kids.

Journey comes with a group of people, 'Down the Rabbit Hole' merchandise evident amongst them, people and children, showing here and there whiffs of Silent Strider Kin breeding, moving to mingle and chatter in the background, children playing, Journey holding the four year old Stephen, who is wiggling happily as Journey waves and moves to the food, Stephen pointing toward.. The Pizza!

The Corax, the Common Raven.. aka Royan (or battle birb, depending on), decided that the only way to arrive today was to be carried. He had spied one of the Kinfolk outside doing something and had taken that moment to claim said Kinfolks shoulder. He had then pestered said Kinfolk to carry him inside. It means the door opens for him and he does not have to fly inside. He thanks the Kinfolk by using his normal raven sounds, Wakka wakka. Mmmmbop! before leaving the persons shoulder to find a higher perch.

Branton comes along on his own with a crate of his artisan booze, alchemically imbued with fun flavors. Blood Orange, Milk Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Strawberry, and Rootbeer. Along with a few nice bottles of store bought booze to get the household cabinet started.

Erin comes prepared with a backpack it looks super stocked and carrying one child while the other is trying to make Erin go faster as she takes a breath "We will get there, slow it down Meara" Meara points to the bouncy house "Mom look!" and then she spots Journey and Stephan and begins to try and guide Erin in that direction.

Lyric is nibbling on food while he greets people as they come in. "Hey, thanks for coming," he says to this person, and he directs Branton over toward the bar and waves to the raven and ruffles children on the head as they pass.

Nathan was here already, helping set things up along with his sister and Lyric. He helps get various drinks set up on the refreshment tables as they are brought in by the arriving guests, and waves to other arrivals. "Hey all, grab a seat."

Stephen in Journeys arms only has eyes for Pizza. Journey carries him that way, nodding to a Kinfolk a tthe table, and after a moments consultation, he gets a slice of Pepperoni Overload and checks the temp before handing it to Stephen who opens his mouth sliiiiightly wider than his HEAD to take the first bite of pizza. Rapture. Italian saucy rapture kid. Chew chew. Journey smiles, "Thanks, looks like fun." He turns so Stephen can see Meara as the lot approaches. Stephens busy at the moment.

Lindsey turns the round objects one more time, "Oh these are turning out perfectly Nate! I'll do mom proud." She offers another wave to those who arrive. "Welcome all! Help yourselves, make yourselves at home!" Then she notes the raven ride in and chuckles. "Hey Swift Wing Upon the High Wind! Hello!" Yep, she used the whole thing for him.

Beckett arrives looking dressed a little more on the formal side, or at least such was hinted at with the smear of blue-black paint that decorated the Uktena's face from eyeline to hairline. The mix of tribal elements into modern dress suggested that maybe he expected a more formal or even ritual affair, though it's not enough to be distracting. He passes by the Kin carrying Birb gentle like hamburger with his own package in hand wrapped in white beach cloth. Beckett casts a longing glance upon the children's bounce around, his austere expression amplified by the paint on his face, and only leaves when the kin-children make a rush to play on on the contraption. His austere expression cracks into a smile when he starts to spot familiar faces, greeting the person closest to him... "Hello there, Erin. I trust you've been well."

His name! Spoken by someone! The Raven, who found himself a nice perch to sit upon, lets his large black wings spread wide. Fully, completely, to show off his impressive wingspan. He lets out a louder Kraaaa! before he calls out, "Hello friends and allies under the moon! I am honored to be accepted to your gathering!" The voice called out in a clear, human voice. He lets his wings fold back along his body, black head always on a swivel as he surveys the area and the people, "Greetings to you, Lindsey of the Wolves!"

Erin notices that Stephan is eating so she guides Meara somewhere else as she looks around. She hears her name and turns to look at Beckett and waves "Hello. I am well and yourself?" Ana leans against Erin as she takes in all the people.

Lyric doesn't mind at all people hanging around in the back yard. Beckett gets a nod and then Lyric grows tired of standing by the gate and wanders further in. "If anyone does music, I've got a little karaoke machine set up. There's plenty of food, just.. be comfy. We have crash space fo little kids who need naps and big kids who need to sober up."

Lindsey collects the serving dish from the table, then carefully lifts all eight of the odd breaded round items into the dish. Using a large spoon, she laddles out the sauce over them, not too much but enough for flavor. "Alright then," she calls out. "Who here is feeling brave and wants to try my regional dish from the great state of Colorado?"

Branton grins and gets his offerings lined up at the bar, looking around at the hustle and bustle of the party.

"Well enough," Beckett replies with a gentle nod before his eyes turn to gaze upon the feast and festivities. "I hope you'll give Ray my regards if you see him first?" He catches Lyric's glance, giving him a nod and a smile. "I'll partake-- Er... wait. Is it dairy free?" He replies to Lindsey's challenge to partake of the Forbidden Cuisine of the American Interior.

The raven sidesteps a bit on his perch, letting his beak click and clack as he opens and closes it audibly. He then leaves his perch, spreading his wings, sailing down to come to a landing near Branton, "Sunbringer. Helios Chosen. Suns Greetings to you." he calls to the man, "All is well with the man who walks side by side with sunshine?"

Journey smiles as Stephen is working on the piece of pizza, and smirks, looking to Lindseys unveiling, letting her answer questions from others. Looking back to Stephen as the boy chewchews the cheesy pepperoni goodness.

Oh, food. Lyric wanders in that direction. And then he 'sneaks' up behind Lindsey to wrap his arms around her. "I'll try. You've been working on them forever."

Branton grins at Battle Birb as he fixes himself a drink "Going well. Making shinys, bartering for shinys, bearing shinys into battle against the minions of evil and drinking their salty tears when their claws fail against my magic. Pretty good all around."

Erin gives a nod to Beckett "If course. I will" she smiles as she finds somewhere to sit down as she puts Ana in her lap and sets her backpack near her.. She ets Meara run off to go jump at the bouncy house.

Lindsey hmms softly, deciding how best to answer that then smiles, "There is no milk or cheese in this dish, though there is some egg." She carries the dish to a table, then sets out several small plates around the serving dish, along with forks and knives. "Help yourselves, it is our mother's recipe, and they never fail to be amazing when she does it."

Nathan glances over, "Mom made me eat them, I'm good, I think." He actually goes over and steals some pizza himself. "I'll stick with this, I prefer pizza." He grins and takes a bite.

The raven lowers his head a bit, sticks it outwards and tilts it 90 degrees to the side as he stares at Branton, "Carrying shiny things into battle? Why? Why not carry a weapon and keep shiny things safe. If you carry them into battle, you risk breaking them."

Branton grins at the Raven and tugs down the collar of his shirt to show the fine weave enchanted mail he conceals "A goodly portion of my battle gear is also shiny. Both is best."

Journey looks over as Stephen eats, sniffs the recipie and smirks, "Smells like your mother knew what she was doing alright, that can go wrong." He smirks and looks to Stephen, setting him down carefully recieving the crust as Stephen runs off. to the bounce house.

Each of the breaded round objects it cut in half, a half going onto a plate. They are meat on the inside, that much is clear, nothing else however it. A little sauce over each and she starts passing out the plates to those interested.

Lyric takes the plate. He cuts the thing into a bite sized piece and takes a bite, considering it carefully. "Kinda chewy." But he eats it anyway, finding it to be not too bad at all. "It's good." He nods to somemone else who has a plate. "It's good."

The party seems to be in full swing, people wandering here and there, a full bar with kinfolk tenders, a bouncy castle for children, as well as a buffet table full of foods. There is pizza for kids, as well as soda and juice. LIndsey is presently offering up plates with breaded meat in a sauce to anyone interested in trying it.

Common Raven leaves his perch and flies over to land upon Brantons shoulder. He lets out a short, almost staccato like kra-kra-kra before he lets his body lean forward and his head lowering. He's looking at the mail under his shirt. Like, really looking at it. He seems close to having his beak peck at it, even!

Erin speaks softly to Ana who shakes her head and leans back against Erin. She giggles softly and kisses her cheek "Ok" Meara is in the bouncy house probably working up an appitite. For now Erin seems to be watching as she tries to convince Ana to go play.

Khol arrives, parking out front and walking to the gate, where he can obviously hear the gathering under way. He opens the gate and steps into the back yard, closing the gate behind him and looking around to see whats happening.

Journey looks around to see the others trying it, moving up to see how they take to it, nodding.

Branton chuckles as he gets landed on "Go ahead, give a poke. If an angry black spiral trying to disembowl me can't poke through I'm sure it can stand to be tested."

"Eggs are," Beckett pauses to give a cautious glance towards the Raven, "fine... I think." He smiles and approaches Lindsey to try the dish, holding out the small bundle he carries in his arms. He couldn't really eat with his hands full, after all. "Here. Please consider this gift on behalf of myself and my Pack, The Eternal Spring, and adjacently the members of Uktena's Tribe of SoCal, Baja, and Nevada on this auspicious partnership between Garou and Bastet." It was a small package wrapped gently in stiff canvas-like cloth died a stark chalky white and tied with a buckskin band.

Lindsey accepts the package with a hint of wide eyes, then offers it over to Lyric, "You open it." That was a lot, but she is grateful. "Thank you Beckett."

The large raven on Brantons shoulder would most likely have done it anyhow. Because that finely woven mail is so shiny! *PECK* goes the beak against the mail. Then another *PECK*. Then he sort of grabs a hold of it, tugging on it a bit before he lets it go, "Very fine." he concludes. Even though he most likely has no clue. But it is shiny.

Lyric hands over his plate and trades with Lindsey, offering a polite and friendly nod to Beckett. "Thank you. We're both honored." He unwraps the package carefully after wiping his hands to make sure they're clean.

Journey nods to people and looks to Beckett presenting his gift, observing curiously.

Aarna arrives quietly and unobtrusively, largely with that 'am I in the right place?' demeanor in place as she slinks into the back yard. She has a rough sack with her that smells pretty good, and once she spots familiar faces and is sure that she is indeed in the right place, she shyly moves forward without trying to draw attention to herself.

Erin looks over towards the present opening with some curiosity. She smiles and then Ana gets up and goes to join Meara in the bouncy house.

Khol has only just arrived himself and is beginning to make his way around to greet people, but he pauses as Aarna arrives, having not met her. He nods politely "Good evening." he offers specifically to her.

Journey looks over and quietly motions Aarna over to him, leaning over to spear two of the pieces of meat from Lindseys dish with forks, offering her one.

"Hello." Aarna replies quietly to Kohl, but her small talk doesn't go much farther than that. She's shy. She heads towards Journey though and says, "Thank you." when she's given delicious meat bits to inhale, in turn offering him the sack. Technically it's for Lyric and or Lindsey but it's all gonna end up in the same place any how, as it's just some delicious frankinsence smoked goat. At least it's cooked at all, right?

Journey nods, passing the ball of meat off to Aarna, "Yeah try it, should be good. Cow Testicle." He nods, THEN takes a bite, chewing as he watches. Taking the offering sack and placing it on a table, chewing as he moves back.

Beckett appears to be holding a plate of food and in the midst of exchanging a gift with the two hosts, Lyric and Lindsey.

Inside the package Beckett is a curious object. In the centerpiece of the item is a tortoise shell, decorated with the glyphs for 'Home' and 'Hearth'. The tortoise shell hangs from the polished antler of a pronghorn and from the shell dangle trailing bits made of bead, feather, bone, and semi-precious stones. It appears to be a set of wind-chimes, artfully assembled. "This will ensure that no spirit-entity may enter the household without invitation and permission of its residents once it is attuned to you and your household." Beckett explains as the item was unwrapped. He holds the plate in hand, waiting on the gift to be fully unwrapped before digging in to the dish.

Lindsey grins broadly as Journey reveals the key ingredient. ROck Mountain Oysters have a gamey quality, like breaded venison. Some claim they taste more like calamari, which is to say they taste like fried, seasoned rubber, but she did not deep fry them, they lack that rubbery feel.

Branton chuckles as he gets pecked "Dragonscale chain, it puts the Armor back in underarmor." That sounds like a rehersed marketing tag. because it is one.

Lindsey studies the gift rather intently, it doesn't have go be fancy to get her attention. It is natural, wholesome even, beautiful to her eyes. "Thank you," she replies softly, looking back to Beckett. "Very much, it is beautiful."

The large raven sitting on Brantons shoulder lets the mail go after one last peck. He then leaves his shoulder as well, not having meant to impose himself on him like that for the rest of the night! He does land near him, though, so he can continue to talk, "I am too fast to have need of such armor. But it is good armor!"

Khol smiles just a little as Aarna moves over to Journey, he doesnt interupt that, but he does head over to whre the oisters are being served, takes one, and pops it into his mouth as if its nothing strange to him. "Well done.. Soaked them in Milk for a couple hours before cooking?" he inquires

Lyric looks the gift over, holding it up and making sure nothing's twisted around or out of sorts. "Hey, this is nice. Is that... 'Home and Hearth?'.. Garou Glyphs are a little different. Thank you, cousin. It will find a place of honor."

Journey looks at the gift as he chews on the meat, nodding a little as he takes it in and nods slightly, watching quietly.

Lindsey shrugs, "I used a brine, my mother's recipe. There's only so much 'dairy'," she chuckles at that. "in the dish. The brine helps soften them up for the saute, since the usual deep fry turns them rubbery. I have no idea where my mother got the recipe, but she used to make them for every major gathering."

Khol nods to Lindsey "Its a good one.. " he compliments "I like the cleanness it provides to the palate.. " he then smiles "Congratulations by the way."

The more experienced Garou and Fera can likely tell what the gift is. "The tortoise was more than happy to commit to this cause," Beckett says with a smile before digging into the dish. His brows lift with a nostalgic surprise as he realizes what the dish is. "Oh-- I should have realized," he doesn't seem repulsed by the dish though, and seems to be contently be working his way through it. "I haven't had this in... years I think. Since I left Denver. Hm. I do appreciate the lack of dairy in this version." He takes another bite. "Some of the younger locals insist this dish is best enjoyed with one of Denvers other 'specialties'." He winks about half-way through chewing.

Lindsey looks to Khol and offers a smile, "Thank you. I wasn't entirely certain how it would be taken by most people, but I also didn't really give two fu... " she notes the children running by, "furks." Good cover. "There are many things I will let be decided in my life by what I am, who I love is not one of them." She looks back to Beckett. "It really is beautiful Beckett. I prefer more natural, hand crafted things over other things," she nudges Lyric with that and grins. "But, so long as there is a touch of the personnal and heart put into it, its accepted with open arms and open heart."

Erin make sure that her backpack is in a safe from getting kicked or something. She then gets up to be somewhat social specially to greet the ones this party is for. She goes to give Lind and Lyric a hug "Thanks for having us. Not sure if you will get the girls to come out of that bouncy house now" she grins "Lovely place you got here. I got a present for you but it's well I can give it to you later" she nodsnods.

The raven watches Branton depart and for a few moments, the bird is left perching there awkwardly, pondering if there's a potted plant somewhere he can study. But that is soon changed as the bird perks his head up, looking around intensely for a few moments before flying over to land near Journey. Once there, he lets out a greeting in the form of a 'kraaaaa'.

And erin will totally wait her turn not shoving people out of her way.

Journey smiles, nodding slightly to the conversation, looking to the bird landing near him, and nods, "Hi, how's it going?" Mellow.

Lyric nods as he looks the thing over and, for the moment, hangs it near the doorway. "That won't be its final place, but for now, it can be enjoyed by everyone. Thank you again, Cousin." H emoves back to Lindsey and wraps his arm around her shoulder. Then Erin gets a hug. "We have it until tomorrow. We can zip them in if we need to for the night." That's probably teasing there,

Aarna didn't seem to mind a rocky mountain oyster at all, didn't even bat an eye when Journey gave her the low down. Mmmm, ball. Then again, she eats weird as is. "Hello." she says to the raven when it comes over into that space.

Khol Looks over to Lyric and offers no comment to that, or Lindsey's statement, his smile doesnt fade in the slightest "A house , and a home are different things.. I hope this building is more than a house for you both." in a slightly abstracted voice.

Journey looks up, over to Khol, then back, "Well you have a good start here, nice party, bounce house, testicles on offer." He nods approvingly, "Wonderful."

Lindsey laughs at the threat to zipping the children in the castle, it's really not a castle but some random neon green creature thing that the kids are bouncing in the stomach of, so really they've already been eaten, zip it up, call it a night. "If you'd like, Erin, you can set it under a table so it doesn't get kicked over. I believe there is a game of 'get him!' going on," another group of kids runs by. "Or something." Sliding her arm around Lyric's waist as naturally as she draws breath, she looks around again. "Aarna, there is some fresh lamb and turkey, uncooked, in the house for you if you'd like. I wasn't sure, so I wanted to make certain you had something too." Now she looks to Khol, not certain of his reaction but as stated, not caring. "Some day, it will likely be a home, for now it is our house, and that alone is more amazing than I ever expected."

The raven watches Journey a few moments, his eyes then moving to Aarna. He lets out another Kraa-kraa sound, shorter in sound and quicker in pace before he speaks, "Greetings an well met, fellow creature under the sky." he offers, his wings flexing outwards a bit. His attention then returns to Journey, "All is well."

"The spirits do, too," Beckett replies to Lindsey when she expresses a fondness of natural and hand made objects. He tilts his head when it's mentioned the partnership is a bit on the Radical side. "Hm. Some Tribes might find it inappropriate. Your people have good relations with other members of the Bete, though. At least as far as I'm aware. It's honestly not the concern or business of other Tribes to dictate that." Beckett advises with a nod. "But let's not dirty this affair with political. You both have conducted yourselves respectfully." He glances over to the bounce-around. "I'm sure they'll bounce themselves out eventually and you can just... scrape them up off the lawn and take them home." He looks around for Kringer, not sure if he'd seen Erin's pet tonight.

Uncooked! Aarna visibly perks up her brows at that, and all interest in meeting the Corax goes right the hell out the window. "Sun keep you warm." she says politely to the fellow Helios Kid before she just up and abandons him and Journey and everyone else, adding, "Thank you, Lindsey. I will return." on her way to go hunt down and murder the lamb and possibly also the turkey in the house. Thankfully it cant make a break for it, being dead and all.

Khol smiles just a little bit, "I think." he looks around "As far as I am aware, I am the only memeber of your family that is currently here.. and I know that what I want the most is your joy and safety. " he shrugs "There might be more to talk about eventually, but for now.. So long as those goals are met.. then I have no issues here. Indeed, I am glad to congratulate you both and offer what blessings I can."

Journey smiles as Aarna heads off get the MEATS, and looks to the Corax, smiling a little, "She know what she wants."

"That's all something we can deal with when it comes to it," Lyric says, speaking up on behalf of the mixed relations. He glances over at the bouncy house, just taking a peek. There's a kinfolk over there keeping an active watch on things, and a couple of older kids in there helping out too. He smiles at Aarna and nods. "If you see a kitten, just hiss at it and it'll run off. Please don't eat it, though."

The raven watches the woman that he greeted powering off to more interesting things! He lets out a light 'kraa' but soon lets her go without chasing her down for forced communication. His eyes and his head turns more to Journey, "Clearly it is not to talk to me." he concludes, "But this is fine. I know how to take rejection from you none feathered beings." he tries to sound so offended, but can not quite get it into the mimicked tone of voice.

Nathan is off to one side with a couple slices of pizza and a soda, trying to keep an eye on pretty much everything at once. It's a fairly big crowd for him, and since it's Lyric and Lindsey's party, he can kind of fade into the bnackgroud and relax.

Lindsey eyes the screaming bird a moment, "I've learned Aarna's tastes, just as I've learned yours Kraw. I try to always have what people like available." Now her eyes shift back to Khol. There are a number of things she wants to say, a larger number she wants to say, but for the moment she says none of them. It's a party, and she's going to enjoy herself. "It is best saved for another time," is in fact all she states on that before looking toward the house to call out, "Run Soup!" then back to those assembled. "Kraw, come over here and help yourself to some of the food. Tell the kin what you want, and it will go on a plate."

"I have not eaten kitten before." Aarna muses to herself, completely deadpan but don't worry Lyric, she's just fucking with you. It's how she do. And then she's GONE! Eaten whole by a wild house, in one bite even! She's only gone for a minute or three though - long enough to put an entire bird inside herself at any rate - before returning again. Or being spit out by a wild house that doesn't like the way she tastes, totally depends on your perception of things. Lamb leg in hand, face probably covered with salmonella, she looks like a happy carnivore as she slinks back towards people.

Journey leans over spearing another oyster and eats it, looking to Aarna, smiling as she comes back, looking to the bird, "Try again."

Khol looks over to Lindsey for a moment then nods. He makes no more statement, but wanders away at an easy pace, that sense of peace that he always has about him present as always.

Totally ignoring Lindsey. Yup. The raven is totally acting as if he did not hear her. And then, after an appropriate amount of seconds pass, he turns his birdy head and his black eyes over to her, "Were you addressing me, good Kinfolk? Kraw? Really?" he clicks his back in the air a bit, the feathers on his head and along his throat / chest fluffing out and up. Giving a bird a name is a difficult thing!

Lindsey laughs, "Alright, I get it, that one bombed. How about Bestest Birb, that better?" Her eyes follow Khol as he moves away, but only for a moment, then she lays her head on Lyric's shoulder. "Would the Bestest Birb like a plate of his own food?"

Journey moves back slightly letting people talk as he moves to the bounce house, looking in a window opening.

Lyric snorts at Aarna and wraps Lindsey in a quick hug and kisses the top of her head. He's having a grand old time, relaxed, kids everywhere, people having fun, no one yelling, no kitten fur stuck in Aarna's teeth!

Erin has gone somewhere because well yeah that's a thing. She has round up the kids to come say hello. Ana is once more in her arms as she steps over to Lind and Lyric.

Meara doesn't need her mother to do this. She actually goes right over and offers her hand "Hello, I'm Meara, lovely home, thank you for letting us come over so we can play. Having a lot of fun" she nodsnods nods.

Erin grins "And this is Ana" Ana gives a shy little wave as she leans against Erin.

Lindsey offers her hand to Meara, because that's how you greet people, you shake hands, if the girl wants to, no requirements. "You are most welcome Meara, I am pleased to hear you are having a good time. If you have any suggestions for fun for the next get together, tell you mother and she can tell me. Deal?" Now she looks to Ana and offers a little wave. "Hi Ana, thank you for coming."

Nathan smiles, looking around as he inhales some pizza. Kids all over, people mingling.. it's like his sister is an adult or something. He gets up and wanders over towards Lindsey and Lyric, giving a little wave to Ana as she is introduced. "Hey guys, this is turning out really nice."

Khol quietly retreats across the yard, and then slips quietly out, to his car and heads home.. he does not like being away from his family for long himself

Aarna hunkers down some place she's not in the way of walking and picks at her lamb. Dunno if the bird will want any, but she'll make the offer to share any how before he leaves or roosts or whatever Corax do when they're offline. People watching is the ticket for now, gatherings aren't her specialty and the customs are strange, but she appears entertained if nothing else. Especially by the big inflatable... thingie that the kids are bouncing around in. Wtf, that is so weird. Nathan gets a hello wave of her lamb when she spots him.

Erin guestures "There is Pizza, do you guys want to get some?" she smiles softly.

Meara gives her the thumbs up "of course I can do that" she then happily skips away to go get Pizza.

Ana gives a little wave as Erin takes her over so that the kids can get food now.

Journey grins as one of the children comes out and runs to him, Journey catching Stephen and lifting him up, swinging the boy around, to giggles and squirms.

Lyric grins at Nathan and offers a fistbump. And then he wiggles his fingers at Ana. Look how charismatic and charming Lyric is! Watch him woo the small child! Lookit! But then there's a Stephen and Lyric smiles his way. "You having fun out there?"

Nathan returns the fistbump and waves to Stephen and Journey, then makes his way over to where Aarna is eating her raw lamb, considering how to bring up the subject in mind. Deciding directness is usually better with her, he plops down on the lawn beside her and asks, "Not big on the cooked stuff, I take it?"

Erin leads Ana back to sit down. Though seeing as Stephen is not eating. MEara goes over to him "Wanna go bounce in the bouncy house?" she asks him. ERin looks over to Meara and she grins she will just take care of Anay.

Journey swings his son around in a circle three times then swings him down to his feet letting Stephen totally discobobulated, staggering to the side, giggling in Lyrics direction as he tries to keep up up and down down.

"No." Aarna answers Nathan just as directly and not at all minding the lack of bush beating. "Cooked is easier for flat little homid teeth and a tiny throat hole, but it gets very busy on my tongue with all the flavors and I am not sure if I like that. It is not very wet that way, either." She has a bite, chewing quietly before swallowing and saying, "You poor things have to work so hard at eating, chewing and chewing such little bites!"

Nathan chuckles, considering that. "Well, I admit eating is a little more direct in wolf, yeah. There's something to be said for all the flavors though, least I think so. But then, I'm used to it, it's what I grew up with being born homid. I suppose it would be quite a change from what you're used to." He shrugs, Taking a bit of pizza, "Besides, I have yet to find a wild pizza, and that would just be a loss I couldn't think about."

Lindsey had never thought of eating as a difficult thing, but listening to Aarna is occurred to her that for humans it is a bit of word given the shape of their teeth. Then that thought is just completely erased as she the image of a wild pizza runs through her mind, to make it worse it is a herd of wild pizzas being chased by a wolf. This makes her laugh, so to everyone out there she just suddenly started laughing for no reason at all. "We could all play some cards, or drink until we fall down? Get Aarna to drive us all home," she laughs at that too, because Aarna hates cars and her driving would be an adventure in holy shit

The backyard is decked out for a party, including a neon green bouncy monster filled with children playing. There is a large table covered in foods, an open bar manned by kinfolk, juice and pizza for the kids.

Journey moves over to a table, getting a water bottle, bringing it back, to open and share with Stephen as he plunks down on his butt giggling and drinks, getting used to the world NOT bouncing. he tilts the waterbottle, stephen putting hands to either side of it glug glug.

Aarna would totally take that challenge, but also completely ruin the car. Glass and puke flying everywhere, it'd be awful. "A wild pizza sounds very interesting. Would they have legs underneith? What would they eat? I imagine they might move like those flat flappy fish I have seen on television. Possibly also attempt to camouflage themselves in the same way, in which case there would often be dirt and leaves on your pizza." She's taking this way too seriously and really REALLY thinking about the possible evolution of the non domesticated pizza beast.

Johanna arrives finally at the party. Seems she has been rather absent from most view, if you are not around a bunch of cubs at the Caern, or out checking into wolf kinfolk around the bawn. She heard about the party, and just had to make an appearance at least. She slowly makes her way in, showing respect to the hosts first, and looking for them to make her greetings.

Nathan nods to Aarna, "Well, I don't know about their diet, though I imagine it might involve a lot of vegetables to replace the ones that fall off as they roam the forest. The dirt and leaves would be a downside though, so probably best all the ones I've ever seen have come from pizza places instead of being captured in the wild before baking."

Well that did it, because now Lindsey is picturing yuppies and kids with pizza cutters as weapons, hunting the wild pizza beasts in the urban jungle. Pizzas hiding in their boxes from the mighty hunters... this is all too laugh worthy and again she laughs at nothing specific. She remains standing by the table with the Rocky Mountain Oysters on it, her arm around Lyric's waist and his arm around her shoulder. Both are smiling and seem quite happy.

Lindsey glances around once more, to make sure everyone has food or drink, or both for that matter, and notes Johanna and waves.

Erin gets Meara to eat before she isoff to play again with the other kids.

Erin just hugs Ana letting her get comfortable as the tot just people watches as she seems to enjoy doing that with her mom.

Journey pulls Stephen up to his feet, now more stable and looking around, running to the other kids to play with the group as Journey rejoins the folks.

Beckett had taken to browsing a few of the snacks along the table, avoiding the pizza. He peers towards Aarna, curiously watching as she sampled from the raw foods trays. "Wild pizza," he muses. "I'm almost certain such an organism would be mycological... Don't ask me why. Pizza fungus just seems to make an intuitive amount of since." He shrugs and adjusts his glasses with a nudge of his two middle digits. He turns around as Aaron enters.

Boxes are a good point, and one that's just occured to Aarna as well. "I suppose they might use their boxes as a clam might use its shell. ... Clams are stupid." She very much has something against clams. One probably mugged her once and she's kept the grudge ever since. Or not. "I do not know what that word means." she tells Beckett, and gnaws on her lamb leg.

"Wyld," Lyric notes about the pizza. "It'd be something a Gorgon would make." When Jo comes in, he lifts his hand in a wave. "Greetings! Join us."

Nathan grins and finishes off the pizza currently on his plate, "Apparently I am a successful hunter then, having devoured my share of the elusive pizza." He looks to Aarna with a laugh, "So the wild pizza is a fungus, with a shell, formed by the Wyld. These things are getting scary."

Erin looks over to Nathan "Well it was a pesky pizza, glad you have hunted it down and taken care of it" she teases.

Johanna approaches Lyric, noting Journey here and waves to him. "Good Evening Lyric, Lindsey. I'm sorry for arriving so late, but classes ran overtime. It looks like quite a party here. A lovely home, from what I can see." She waves over towards Nathan as well. "It has been too long since I have seen you both."

Journey looks over and smirks, "Roving nomadic family pods of them yeah." He waves to Jo.

Lindsey offers Johanna a smile, arm tightening a little around Lyric's waist. "I've been insanely busy with the sanctuary," she comments. "Not much time on my hands. I kept trying to make time, but it always ended up being around midnight when I was pretty sure you were asleep."

"It sounds reasonable to me." Aarna says with an agreeing nod at Nathan, and quite seriously tells him, "Well done, mighty hunter." for his lot in slaying the pizza menace that stalks the streets at night. Probably in packs. Just shuffling along alarmingly in their boxes and sporeing up the place... Aarna shakes her head just thinking about it. I was nearly defeated by a kinfolk's lunch once, but only once, long ago. I slew what is known as a 'big mac', though it put up a strong fight and nearly smothered me."

Beckett looks over to Johanna when she mentions classes mentions 'classes'. "Teacher or student?" Looking up from his nearly clean plate asks her curiously. He looks over to Lindsey with a smile. "An Elder of your tribe is here. I don't think there's anything to worry about... that was mentioned earlier I mean."

"Working twelve hour shifts five days a week. We're both very glad you came, Johanna. You just missed Kohl." He motions to the food. "Please. There's an open bar and all the food you could possibly want. Please enjoy," Lyric offers

Nathan notices Johanna's wave and returns it from where he's sitting on the grass, talking to Aarna while she eats a raw lamb leg. It's a weird party, maybe, but people seem to be enjoying themselves. He calls over, "Hello, Starchaser'rhya."

Johanna aahs, "Understandable. Much to setup when you are getting settled in a new place." She sees the closeness between Lyric and Lindsey. "I see you two have grown quite close since the last I saw you." She looks pleased, and says to Lyric, "You are a lucky man." she is asked by Beckett of her classes, "I teach astronomy to many of the cubs, and any that wish to learn. Not book learning, all information passed down from family, ancestors, spirits." A nod to Nathan as well, "Hello to you as well, Rends the Sky."

Journey takes a drink of water nodding and watching the crosstalk.

Lindsey seems to visibly relax, there is no one watching that can miss it in fact. "I'm the lucky one," she comments, looking to Lyric. Normally she'd make some sort of joke about his fabulousness at this point, but instead a soft smile touches her lips and she says fondly, "He's the perfect compliment to my utter insanity, and without him I'd still be lost."

"She's the Denparent," Lyric supplies to Beckett and he SMILES at Johanna. "I asked Lindsey to move in, and she has, and now she's throwing parties in the back yard. I am a VERY lucky man which is what I keep telling her." He smooches Lindsey on the cheek at her statement and contests, "She grounds me too. It all works out surprisingly well."

Beckett seems the brighten at the topic of astronomy. With a glancing nod to Lyric he looks back to Johanna. "The stars have a profound effect on liminal beings, it's said. Perhaps to us as much as Luna does, if a little under-appreciated. I'd love to hear what you have to teach." He flashes a smile. "Perhaps I could coerce you to offering a guest lecture out at the Tribal Confederacy? Or... perhaps you'll make me come to the Caern and sit on the ground cross-legged with the cubs." He sets his empty plate down where-ever dishes were intended to go. "I imagine those sort of classes do tend to run late, as late seems to be the best time to learn it. Liminally speaking, anyway."

Lindsey smirks and says like a parent would to their child (though clearly joking), "Yes Lyric, you're grounded to your room for a week. No kittens allowed. OH what a shame, it's my room too, oh well." She then grins broadly to emphasize the joke, and looks to Beckett, "It would seem you are correct, no need to worry." Her eyes go back to Johanna, "Classes are always more important, but I do thank you for taking the time to come."

Erin grins at Ana as they sit and watch the intereactions. Meara is having a great time with the other kids. ERin even got food yay she does take a few bites of the pizza because you have to just try a bit of everything.

Johanna smiles, "It if a rarity to have others of our tribe here, so I would move the heavens if I could for each and every one of them. Well, in this case, run through the forest, take a moon bridge, etc etc. I am glad to see that you are with another that is a good one, someone with the ferocity to be there for you, with you." She tells Beckett, "You are always welcome, and it would be an honor to come and share at the Tribal Confederacy. It could be a fantastic discussion to hear from your tribe as well, as we all have some stories from different spirits as well."

Lyric laughs aloud at Lindsey, reaching out to pick up some sort of finger food. "Not that kind of grounding, but that also works." Then he nods to Jo again, glancing over at the bouncy house as someone yells. It turns out to be a squeal of delight, though, as the older kin kids have started a game of ring around the rosie with one kid in the middle, getting bounced around extra good. "Thank you, Johanna."

Journey chuckles, "Too late, Lyric, it's done, you're grounded." He smirks and takes a drink, looking to Lindsey and chuckles idily, looking relaxed.

Lindsey swats Lyric on the butt before moving away to check the table, sure the Kinfolk have it handles, but this is her and if you know nothing else about her, you know she's a control freak. Table is checked, bar is checked, new pizza set out, more bottled water added to the cooler, and in between she makes sure that things are cleaned up and wiped down. Five minutes, tops, that's all the longer it is before she comes back with bottle of soda in hand and slips her arm back around Lyric. "See, Journey has spoken, and I'm betting we could get Johanna to agree, you're grounded."

Aarna plunks her half eaten lamb shank on the ground and wipes her gross hands on her sarong before having at some water in long gulps. She's pretty content to get to know people through the interactions of others. Way less stressful that way, you get to find out all this stuff about others without actually having to think up the questions or comments!

Johanna laughs! "Oh Lyric. You have it bad here. If you ever need a patrol... better ask for permission to go first, and not be grounded. Then we can go out. I actually might have some kinfolk that could use your advice."

Lyric grins at Journey and pouts. SO many pouts. Never has there EVER been a sadder face ever ever. Unless you count Octava's Loris. Alphie ALWAYS wins in the sad face department. "Journey's not my boss," he says. Look at that lip. LOOK AT IT! All pooched out. But then he grins. "Fine. I'm grounded. I'll sit in the room with my rain shower and my huge floating bed and the Nintendo Switch that I absolutely am not hiding from you." He grins at Johanna and nods. "I'm always happy to help out where our paths align." Meaning as long as he's not violating HIS stuff to help with THEIR stuff, which seems prtty fair to Lyric

Erin giggles and awwws at the pouting that Lyric is doing. She smiles and leans to whisper to Ana as they both give a little giggle.

Journey nods as Lyric denies his authority, "that's true." then the pouting begins and Journey lets him express himself, smirking.

Johanna looks up to the stars, "I'm afraid I must depart. It is just about storytime, and I hate to miss it with my little ones. Have a good night and do not be a stranger." She waves to them all, before taking her leave.

"That sounds like it would be excellent," Beckett says, nodding to Johanna as she leaves.

Aarna leans back in her little zone, pondering the meaning of being grounded when you cant fly anyways, presumably, and just enjoys the evening for now.

And there's a bouncy house for children, and just plain old pizza for the littles who might not like change, as well as soda and juice. There are even a couple of kinfolk who are running the huge buffet to make sure people get what they need. Also, open bar! Extra chairs and tables have been set out in the backyard for use by guests, as well as the furniture in the house of course.

Journey is relaxing on the grass with a water bottle, looking relaxed as he keeps an eye on the little kids playing.

Lyric is snuggled up with Lindsey, making pouty faces.

Fiona arrives to the the country estate with Aaron, her gaze taking in the beautiful scenery. She notes the cat run and smiles.Ooh kitties! Hopefully she gets to play with one. She glances at Aaron "Pretty big place no?"

Erin is also watching the kids, and on her lap is a tot who is all cuddled up against her holding a plushy.

Aaron walks in with his mate. He's a tall bearded man, dressed down a bit to look less like his normal biker self and leaving the motorcycle cut he usually wears at home. They come with gifts, a bottle of wine, a bottle of whiskey, and a basket of baked goods that all get added to the rest of the food and drinks as they arrive. "Yeah, nice place." A wave is given to all before he points to Erin and laughs, "We seem to cross paths a lot."

Lindsey is enjoying Lyric, no not like that. She has her arm around his waist again and her head on his shoulder. Taking a zip of her soda she offers a wave to the new arrivals, "Come in! Come in! We're all family here."

Food? Celebration? Sounds good to Jordan. The big man makes his way over to the new place. He peers over the property as he arrives. taking in a deep breath to scent the air. It's a nice night, after all. He's got a bottle of wine with him, a house-warming offering. The man peers over those assembled, offering nods to those he knows. As Lindsey welcomes folks in, near Lyric, he heads in that direction. "Evening. Figured I'd get a bit of time away and visit. Nice place you have here." The wine is offered over.

OH GOOD! The pouting worked. He gets to keep his Nintendo switch. "Welcome! Come in. Have food. Open bar!" He gives Lindsey a little squeeze. When Jordan comes in, he grins even bigger. "Hey! How's it going?" Lyric takes the wine and leaves Lindsey briefly so he can set it down. "Lindsey, this is Jordan, one of our elders. Jordan, this is my girlfriend Lindsey."

Lindsey immediately puts her attention on Jordan, offering her hand as she says, "Honored to meet you Jordan, like he said I'm his girlfriend Lindsey, but there is sooooo much more to me." She grins rather broadly, and eyes Lyric. "I couldn't resist."

Journey waves to Fiona and Jordan as they show up, chilling on the grass.

Erin looks up at the new arrivals and gives a little smile and a wave.

A wry grin is given to Lyric, Jordan chuckling. "Secrets, man. Secrets." He teases, with a wink. A nod to Lindsey. "Nice to meet you, Lindsey. So much more? Are you hiding secrets, then?" The teasing is given in good natured fun. A glance around, then a smile. Journey and Erin get waves in return. "Quite the turn out. Yelena and I were considering having a party soon, too. Before she gets to showing too much."

Nathan is sitting on the grass beside Aarna, just relaxing at this point. He glances over at the new arrivals and also waves, just a polite greeting.

Beckett was staring at the bounce-around, but he tears his gaze away when more guests arrive. He lifts his cup in greeting to the entrance of more guests. "Glad you could make it Breathes-the-Black-Smoke," He says, turning towards the entrance. He nods towards Jordan. "I haven't seen you since the Drum Circle, but I trust you're doing well."

"Of course she's keeping secrets. I'm teaching her to be a Cat," Lyric says, then glances at Beckett. "It'll hold up to six hundred pounds. If you REALLY want to jump, go for it."

Aaron waves to Beckett and makes his way over to offer the other man a shake of the hand should he accept. "Good to see you again. We'll need to hang out more." Grinning he motions to Fiona, "This is Fiona, I believe you met the other night." Smiling to the host and hostess he adds, "This is a nice place."

Beckett pauses and then... looks back and forth between Jordon and Aaron with a puzzled crease etching its way into his brow. "Huh..."

Jordan smiles to Beckett, nodding. "Had some in-laws issues to address in Russia, had a daughter - now expecting twins." The man muses. "It's been a busy time. How are you?" The man wonders, turning to allow all to be involved in the conversation.

Erin hugs Ana as they watch people mingle and greet one another. She's just relaxing with the tot in her lap. She smiles as the little one turns to whisper somthing to Erin who nods a little bit.

Lindsey beams with pride, "In no time at all I are be cat!" She announces, then grins broadly. "I'm going into that bouncy thing at some point, and I think Aarna should too, because bouncy. Everyone should have go."

Lyric grins at Lindsey and makes a little 'shh' gesture, like it's supposed to be a secret, but he's clearly just kidding. "Kids? Shit, man. I didn't even know!" Aaron gets a smile. "Thank you. There's food and drink. Be comfortable. Bouncy house for the adults after 9:00."

Journey shrugs, "Doing okay, mostly just enjoying the quiet moment of the kids playing."

Fiona walks along with Aaron, smiling to Beckett as he speaks to him. Her eyes move to Lyric, nodding "Thank you for your hospitality"

"Hmmm? Oh! Yes." Beckett seems to shake off whatever moment of confusion he just experience, replacing the frown with a genial smile. Aaron would find his hand soon met with a leather glove. "I believe I've met Miss Fiona around some of the other gatherings. Fianna kin, correct?" He glances over to Lyric, who seemed to intuite the Uktena's deep desire to bounce. "I... Oh no. I couldn't possibly. Wait... Are you saying that thing can survive a Crinos."

He blinks and turns back to Aaron, Beckett gives a more in-depth introduction. "Beckett Aditsan Jacobs; Born to Human Kin under the Moonshadow; Rited Ghostwalker to Great Uktena's Tribe; Adren." He nods and clears his throat. "You know the rest of what's on my card. I'm glad you two could come to this gathering, for as causal as it seems."

Lindsey makes a shhh noise and looks all serious for a moment as she says way too quickly, "I said nothing, no one heard that." It's clearly joking around, over being all secretive and such. A soft, "Congratulations Jordon." is offered before she looks to Aaran and Fiona, "We are all family, help yourself to anything you'd like off the tables or the bar, and make yourself comfortable. I'm Lindsey, and just in case you haven't met either of us, this is Lyric."

Jordan tips his hat to Lindsey, smiling. "Much appreciated. I am just going to have my hands full juggling children." He winks to her, finding a place to take a seat. He does look over to the bouncey house, grinning as the children play.

Erin smiles at Jordan "They are quite the handful, but quite the joy"

There is a grin to Lyric along with a nod of Aaron's head in response, "Thanks! I think I'll stay out of the bounce house for fear of breaking it." With that said he turns his attention back to Beckett, nodding and smiling. "Good to hear the intro in full." Pausing he looks to the group and adds, "I'm Aaron Ezekiel Ruiz, rite named Breathes-Black-Smoke, born on two legs beneath the Full Moon, Cliath of the Uktena." With the formal introduction complete he grins, "Most people call me Aaron, some call me EZ."

Jordan nods to Erin. "Sunshine is rolling over and pulling herself along now. Every day I get more amazed by what she learns." A grin to Lindsey at her mention of being a cat, and the bouncy castle. "Well, what are you now then, Lindsey?" He wonders, relaxing in his seat in almost boneless cat fashion.

Oh boy, here we go again. There were really times when Lindsey wished she didn't remember everything, literally EVERYTHING, as the introductions start up. "Right then, here it is. Lindsey Taylor, Stargazer kin, animal whisper, veterinarian, and sister of Rends the Sky, Cliath Stargazer." Finally her's is longer, only because she's heard enough of others to get in a few more things. "Nice to meet you EZ." He's so being called that forever.

Lyric nods to Beckett. "The weight, not the claws. It's pretty heavy duty." The idea of a crinos in there bouncing around is amusing. "How old is she? YOu'll have to bring her over to play with the kittens." Then there's a pause as intros start happening. "Lyric. Bastet." That's good enough. "I'm so glad that all of you came today. It means a lot to us. Lindsey's new here and I've not been really social in the last several months."

Journey reaches out and scoops up Stephen running by, and geins to Aaron, "I am Journey Farshi, Shaderunner of the Silent Striders. Elder Theurge of Homid birth, Alpha of the Zephyrs Hand pack, mated to Vesta Farshi of the Silent Strider Kinfolk, Father of Stephen Farshi, deednamed Baconcaller." He ruffles the boys head provoking giggles and "Hiii." Then escape.

Nathan waves over from where he sits, "Which would be me... Nathan Taylor, Rends the Sky, Cliath Stargazer Ahroun born on two legs, son of Sings in Starlight."

Introductions. It almost always comes down to this - more so in mixed company, than not! "Jordan Fisher, Russet Paw, Bon Bhat to the Qualmi." Jordan offers over. "A Stargazer... interesting. And an animal whisperer. How are you with big cats?" A grin to Lyric. "I'm not going to give you any guff, I'm in no position to." He waggles his brows. Nods and smiles are given to all who introduce themselves.

Erin looks around as proper intros are being said and she hugs Ana as she speaks "I'm Erin Harrison, Kinfolk to Mother Ananasa and Related to the fae.. Also mother to Ana" she guestures "And Meara" she points in the general area the girl is playing

Lindsey smiles at Jordan, "I can speak to all animals equally, though not insects or arachnids. Big cats are in fact my secondary specialty, though my degree only covers wolves. I could have stayed at university for another year to get big cats added, but decided against it. I have worked with a few major zoos around the country, and several of them were with the big cats, as well as the wolves, one time with an orangutan, another with otters. Nothing like watching Star Trek The Next Generation with an orangutan. Why do you ask?" She eyes Lyric a moment. "And I'm even better with some big cats."

Journey sit in the grass a little removed from everyone wrestling with a four year old boy who is growling and giggling and playing and being a little kid.

The Qualmi chuckles and shakes his head. "No, no real reason. Just thinking aloud. I might go wandering the city and find any people with ... exotic cats to liberate." A shrug. "Most of them aren't city cats, after all." Jordan offers to Lindsey.

Lindsey hmms and nods, "I'm building a wold sanctuary a few miles from here. If you need a veterinarian to check them over before moving on to their new homes, or for that matter a home for them, contact me."

Lyric grins at JOrdan and then at Lindsey, giving her a little snug. Just being affectionate. "She does okay with some big cats. It's a shame I'm completely wild and untamable." He's amused. Very much enjoying the invasion of all the different people in his place.

Aarna totally dozed off a bit. Not a full on sleep-sleep, but a good doze. Her eyes pop open and she blinky blinks a bit while kicking her brain back into the now with a light yawn. Extra oxygen always helps.

Matteo heads in carrying a potted plant, cuz that's what you do at a housewarming party right? He heads towards Lindsey with a smile and a "Hey!"

Journey pulls Stephen to him and points him to Aarna, who he waves to in order to get her attention. The four year old boy goes to aarna, and says, "Stephen Farshi, Baconcaller, Silent Stwider, Cub. Hii." He says, smiling openly.

Lindsey waves to Matteo, smiling brightly, "Hey Matteo! I'm glad you could make it. Come on over, join the party. Lots of food and drinks, new people to meet, kids to dodge... they are running around on a sugar high I think." She goes quiet as Stephen introduced himself and instantly her expression goes 'dawwww' cause that was just so fucking adorable.

Jordan chuckles, nodding to Lyric and Lindsey. "Are you a big cat, though?" He teases the former, playful. "Untabable, likely..." The man agrees. A glance over to Aarna and Stephen - smirking just a bit. "So young."

Nathan waves to Matteo when he spots him. He's currently sitting on the lawn beside Aarna, and also has a big grin on his face as a result of Stephen's intro to the Indian woman.

There is nods and waves all around. "Well its good to meet everyone formally so its all out of the way, the formal intro's that is." With a wink, Aaron moves off to make a plate for him and Fiona.

"Hello, small Garou." Aarna says to Stephen with all the seriousness she'd show an adult, "I am Aarna, egg hatched Mokole of the Makara Stream." She also doesn't even attempt to explain any of that to the little chap. "Why are you Baconcaller?" she asks with an honest curiosity, that's not a name she's heard before, but it sounds delicious.

Beckett wincesa little when he sets off what appears to be a chain reaction of formal introductions. "This is why Beckett or Professor Jacobs is just fine," the Ragabash chuckles, releasing Aaron's hand before looking back to the rest of the party. "I'll uh... spare you my Ancestral Lineage. Ragabash courtesy. You should come out to the Embassy soon, Aaron." With everyone now more formally introduced he looks back to the gathering, musing outloud but quietly. "Hmmm. I... unfortunately don't know ant Rites to lay upon a household, beyond what I brought earlier. Though perhaps one of the other guests does."

Stephen takes a breath, "Cuz I go Awooo an dat means Bacon to woofs an when I was wif 'Lectos litter I went Awoo and dey went awoo an we all yell out 'Baaaacon" His fists raise in the air at the battlecry, "So we all yellin Bacon but I did it first so dey call me Baconcaller." BREATHE and he nods, "Yeah!"

Matteo chuckles lightly and responds to Lindsey, "Oh, I'm adept at dodging kids, my Sibs made sure of that." he holds out the plant to her, "It's a Ponytail Palm, it'll only get like, three feet tall, it's a really good air purifier, and its safe for cats if they like, chew on it or whatever. So Lyric won't get a tummy ache if he eats it." he says with a smirk. He gives Nathan a wave in return while he's at it, making sure not to drop the plant while he does so.

Lyric gasps at Jordan. "I am ABSOLUTELY a big cat!" Lyric puffs up to his full 6'5". Succh a big cat!! Look at him Yeah, we won't go any further than that. He nods to Beckett. You heard my intro. Then Stephen's telling a story and all his attention goes that way because that's just fucking cute, man. He nudges Lindsey a little so she hears it too.

Lindsey dies from the adorable. It's not a bad thing to cause death, but there it is. Children were just plan adorable at that age. She accepts the plant from Matteo and holds if over toward Lyric, "Hungry?" Then says to Matteo, "Thank you. I love house plants, they brighten the place up."

Aaron returns with a plate for Fiona and instead of a plate for himself he has a beer. Taking a swig, he looks around those gathered then back to Beckett. "Sure thing. I'll have to give you a call and go out to meet up with you Beckett. I sent word to Burt as well. Hopefully I can meet up with him soon."

This... Makes total sense to Aarna. She listens intently, nodding in the right spots, and says in the end, "I think you should continue to call for Bacon. Bacon is quite good, and your enemies will fear being made into bacon by a fast runner like yourself." If she'd thought of it first, that'd be her battlecry too. Well maybe not, she's awfully quiet in general, but you know what I mean. She looks up and eyes Lyric very skeptically when he claims to be a big cat. Nope, she doesn't buy that, not a bit!

Lyric hears Hungry and something's being handed to him, so he ALMOST takes a bite, but then he.. um.. sniffs it. Nice. He clears his throat and sets it aside. "I'll make sure this gets a sunny window away from the kittens."

Stephen nods and runs to Journey, who leans to him and gets into his satchel getting out a strip of bacon jerky, handing it to Stephen who runs back to Aarna and holds it out to her arm straight. Bacon. Duty Satisfied.

Jordan grins and winks to Lyric, nodding. "Of course." He chuckles, enjoying the fun. He stretches out a bit on the seat he's claimed, watching as the Aarna curiously.

Fiona smiles to Aaron as he brings her a plate. She then looks to him and whispers a few words. Fi then proceeds to cover the plate up to take with her "Thank you very much for inviting us into your home! we must be going now but thank you again"

Aarna now has mighty BACON! She accepts this strip with utmost formality for gift giving, bowing her head with a sincere, "I thank you, Stephen Baconcaller." She has to give something back to him, obviously, but all she's got is a gnawed upon raw lamb shank and... and that's hers. Ah ha! Pluck! She offers Stephen a single dandilion to complete the exchange of friend gifts, balance karma, and all that sort of thing. Sure, technically she just stole that flower, but whatever, finders keepers! And also that bacon disappears into her face with a quickness.

Lindsey grins mischievously and laughs, "Sorry Lyric, couldn't resist." She looks to Aaron and Fiona, "Thank you for coming! We'll all have to get together again soon."

Matteo smiles and nods, "Ya, no prob, figure the best gift is a plant, since I knew there'd be tons of food around." he nods again to Lyric. "Cool." he says of the plant getting sunshine. "Speaking of food, I'm gonna go get some." and he heads towards the food tables.

Aaron ends up helping to put a cover on the plate and smiling as he and Fiona talk softly, "Looks like we're going to have to head out. It was great meeting everyone, and great place you guys." With that he walks out with her hand in hand.

"Take food with you!" Lyric says to Fiona and Aaron. And stop by whenever. Thank you for coming!" He gives Lindsey a playful little swat and still watches Aarna with Stephen

A grin plays across Lindsey's face before she whisper something to Lyric with a questioning expression on her face.

Stephen takes the dandilion and looks at it spinning it in his fingers and turns running back to Journey, holding the flower aloft to show it off. Journey nods and takes it attaching it to his clothes to play with.

Jordan smirks at the exchange - dandelion for bacon. Quite the trade. He finds himself a glass of something - whichever was available. It was a good night, people, conversation and more importantly - people-watching.

EvERYTHING is available. For those of you who have known Lyric this is QUITE an upgrade. Lindsey must be loaded and he's mooching off her. Pretty little golddigger. That's Lyric. YUP! He shakes his head a little to Lindsey, murmuring something back to her quietly. "You'll have to bring the family over sometime, Jordan. I mean that. The wifey too. I didn't even know you were seeing anyone, let alone having kids."

Meara comes over to Erin and whispers to her and gives a little nod. She stands up taking the backpack as she puts Ana down and takes out a pretty box from within it. She looks to Meara and Ana and guestures. The two girls take the box over to Lyric and Lindsey.

Lindsey nods to Jordan, then looks around, "You are all welcome any time. Come, sit, enjoy Lyric's cooking... he's a great gcook, I can only cook over an open fire or the BBQ." She offers a smile then notes the delivery service. "Well hello again girls, what a pretty box. Is that for Lyric and I?"

Journey married into money, spends Vestas fortune freely and makes no excuses about it, never has. He grins as he finishes attaching the dandilion to Stephen and watches the boy run off to play with the other kids.

Jordan smirks, nodding to Lyric. "I am mated, yes. Yelena is of the Silver Fang family." He shrugs. "And you know how cats are - we show up, new things are discussed - we vanish. I get to see my Pride every so often, so." A chuckle. "I will make sure to swing by - we'll have folks out for dinner some night as well at our house."

Lyric lets Lindsey get this present, though the two littles get a smile. He nods to Jordan. "Didn't know that." That's TWO cats who have stolen kinfolk. High five man! Er.. no... no. We don't high five over that. "Cool. Yes. Please. And the kiddo. Sunshine? Is that what you said her name was?"

Meara gives a nod "YEs, mommy made it" she smiles and once they take the box Ana rungs back to Erin. Erin ruffles Ana's hair and smiles. Meara smiles and looks after her sister and looks to Lind "She's so shy" she shrugs.

Beckett winces again when Jordan mentions his partnership. "I don't envy your... uh... situation with the in-laws," he comments with a wary grin. "The Fangs are... Well. The Silver Kings are really nothing like the Stargazers. You could say uh... a little more materialistic. A little more," he clears his throat and coughs a word into his elbow, "possessive."

Lindsey does accept the box with a soft, "Thank you girls." Then stands up to open the box, with Lyric help, even if she has to elbow him with her foot to get him to help. To (Lyric, Lindsey), Erin pages: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/350703524982-0-1/s-l1000.jpg

Lyric smiles and pulls the ribbon on the box. THERE. He helped! His eyes track briefly to Beckett and then back to the package and when LINDSEY opens it, he helps with any unwrapping. "OH. Damn. This is really nice. THANK you girls." He smiles at Erin. "And thank you. It's beautiful." If Lindsey doesn't beat him to it, he'll hold it up for people to see.

Jordan smiles to Beckett. "They are good people, at heart. At least her family is. They have their... peculiar traditions, but." A shrug. "We decided to be together, and there were no fights or duels. I call that a win." The man grins. "And possessive, yes. But I am more than willing to fight for her." A nod then to Lyric. "Yes, Sunshine. Has her mother's fair skin and hair. She's got my purr, though."

Lindsey almost squees and she is not a squee kind of person. "Oh my gods Erin! It's beautiful! Thank you!" She looks to Lyric, "Living room, must go there where everyone can see it."

Erin blushes and nods "I am glad you guys like it" she looks over to Journey and then to Jordan and smiles as she starts to gather her things as it looks like they are getting ready to go.

Journey looks to the clock and nods smiling, "That is nice, yeah it'll look great somewhere." He says, smirking as he nods to Erin.

Lyric nods his agreement. "Living room. Yes. We'll find the perfect place for it. It's very nice." He steps away from Lindsey, moving over to give ERin a nice, squeezy hug and he nods at Jordan. "That's cool. Bring them by. Family and allthat, you know?"

Nathan looks over and nods, "Nice. Must be nice to be able to make things like that. I just tend to break stuff." He shrugs.

"Many a past war has be waged over kinfolk," Beckett hums before turning to look at what the Spiderkin had brought. He eyes the clock curiously.

Lindsey follows Lyric over so she can get in a hug as well, "Thank you Erin."

Erin smiles at Journey though her cheeks are awefully red. Then there is hugging and she smiles as she hugs both of them. Ana hides behind her mom as she hugs them back "Your welcome I am really glad that you like them"

Matteo is currently eating something, he thinks about making jokes about kinfolk and fighting wars over them, being one himself, but, seems like it probably wouldnt get a laugh, so he just haeds to get a drink next.

Aarna raises a hand at Matteo while he's drinkin and not jokin, and says, "Hello again." to him. Being outgoing and social, as ya do! She even offers her gross raw lamb leg in Nathan's direction in case he wants to share, but she kinda expects he wont be interested.

Lyric glances up, looking around. He squints ever so slightly. It's a subtle thing, not a startle reflex, and he slowly pans the entire back yard before he looks back to Lindsey. He gives her a kiss on the head and a little squeeze and pulls away a little bit.

Lindsey looks around when Lyric does, not because she sensed anything but because he we looking around. She smiles at the kiss, but is focused on him now.

Journey yawns, quirking a brow and looking about, then his interest fails before anyhting else and he settles into the grass watching the kids.

Erin blinks and looks around curiously as she holds Ana close to her and then looks towards the others then looks perplexed.

Beckett fixates on the clock and then looks over his shoulder towards the house, then over to Journey, then to Matteo. He then blinks and squints as if he'd been staring directly into the sun. "That's really lovely, Erin. You made it in your... workshop? Studio?"

Matteo gives Aarna a wave and a "Hey. how's it going? Oh! I have your boots in my car." he suddenly remembers.

Erin picks up her backpack and slings it over her shoulder as she adjust Ana again. She looks to Beckett "Thanks, and yeah where else would I have made it?" she tilts her head.

Lyric puts Lindsey just a TINY bit closer to Journey. Just a light squeeze and a tug on her shoulders, then looks around one more time. He moves away just a little, once more scanning faces and lands briefly on each one, brow knit ever so slightly.

"You have fulfilled my request for toe armor?" Aarna asks Matteo, her brows moving upwards, "This is very good, thank you for arming my feet against table legs and steps, I appriciate it very much. I look forward to seeing what you have procured." She, for one, is oblivious to the shifting tensions and magical subterfuge happening in the yard, it's all about boots over here.

Lindsey is moved, one brow lifting slightly, but she stays put. Clearly something is bothering Lyric, and this is a conversation they have said about unspoken actions and intents. Yes, he is being protective and that's his right since clearly she is clueless, and she knows he will explain later.

Journey looks to Aarna and Mateo, "Toe armor, wonders of the Steel Toe coming into play?" He asks.

Jordan looks over to Lyric, canting his head to the side.

Matteo chuckles, "Ya, I had them sent to my house, they're in my van let me go get them. I didn't have time to make them more durable or enhanced in anyway yet, but I will soon when my other things are done." he nods to Journey, "Yep, ordered her a pair of steel toed shoes, and soon I'll make them magically durable and better at I dunno, running or being nimble, or climbing or something." he then sets his food and drink down, "Lemme go get them right quick." and he jogs out of the yard to do so.

"It seemed prudent to have more protected foot toes if I am to live near a city and to be much more active." Aarna agrees to Journey with a nod while Matteo makes a boot run. "I have hit them before, most commonly that little tiny toe on the outside. I did not like it one bit. Matteo suggested a boot. A very wise idea."

Erin looks over to Meara who comes over to her and takes her hand . She looks to Matteo and Journey as she grins "Well a good steal boot is good to kick someone butt"

Lyric clears his throat quietly. "So. I don't mean to bust up the party atmosphere, but did someone DO something? I don't mind really, just on principle, but it's a little disconcerting to be standing in your own back yard and someone activates a power without any warning. It's hard to know if someone is trying to do something harmless, or if it's the beginning of an attack on my territory." He doesn't sound angry, maybe a little perturbed, but not angry.

Journey nods in agreement to Aarna, "Two things, use socks, like foot cushoning, and the steel toe is like a weapon at the end of your feet, you'll feel them." He looks over to Lyric, "I felt it, something sensory, simple. Close. wasn't e though." He glances about.

Lindsey entire demeanor changes, eyes narrow slightly as she looks around. It's his territory, but it's also her home and the idea that something may have happened stands the hair on the back of her neck up. For now she says nothing, but she understand how why she was put closer to Journey.

Beckett has a pretty good poker face apparently. Though in more dire straits fate would probably have that roll fail. "The moon," he replies to Erin with the same poker face. Was that a joke? He smiles and heads back over to the table for another drink. Though when Lyric seems to be on edge Beckett turns around and looks over one shoulder. "Just making sure nothing was cursed. It's a habit."

Evonna seems to always arrive at just the right moment. Or wrong. Hard to say. She stops as she feels some confusion in the air, and waits to see what happenes next.

Nathan looks over to Lyric when he asks about powers, but given the man's relatively calm demeanor, he doesn't even get up from the grass, just kind of looks around the area

Lyric's eyes track to Beckett and he nods, relaxing visibly. "Alright. Cool. Not a big deal, and it's appreciated, but next time maybe ask." Still not upset. Like he hasn't done anything EXACTLY like that a hundred thousand times. "Thank you for saying so." He gives LIndsey an 'it's okay' squeeze and heads over to the bar, waving to Evonna as she comes into the back yard.

Jordan's fingers flex and curl - like a cat kneading at something. As stuff is sorted out, he nods appreciatively. Easier to have everything handled, then have to worry over possible issues arrising.

Erin looks at Beckett and her eyes narrow. She turns and heads to leave with her children. She looks towards Lyric and Lindsey "Thanks for having us. I think now it's time to go home" and with that the little family turns to leave and Erin does not look happy.

Lyric gives Erin a quick hug before she heads out though

Aarna looks over to Lyric when he record skips the party for a moment, expression concerned and uncertain. She's ready to eat a bad guy for a bro, but doesn't say anything, just staying quiet till Lyric yells that something needs to be sat on or something. But he's pretty calm, so that's good, and she answers Journey, "Socks, I will remember to ask my kinfolk for those, thank you." And just like that she doesn't have to go through blisters and sweaty boot foot!

Lindsey eyes Beckett for a moment longer, then let's her eyes follow Lyric. "Excuse me dearest, why Journey?" She asks, moving to follow him to the bar. "Was that just a 'put the girlfriend by the most powerful elder present' moment? Did you really just do that?" She starts laughing as she follows, not upset at all, just totally in awe of the bold move. SHe stops part way to the bar, looking to Erin, then back to Beckett, before moving to to Erin and hugging her again with a whisper in her ear.

Journey is settled in the grass and doesn't seem much changed, one eye on the kids one on the conversation, chilled. He nods to Aaryn, "They're comfortable, Socks are yeah." Somewhere a Racoon swells with pride and knows not why.

This party was already the best thing to happen to Evonna all day, week, month - the minute she realized - OPEN BAR. The Get waves to Lyric, Lindsey, bows her head to Journey of course, then gets herself a drink! Once that is in hand, she'll walk over toward Lyric, knowing this is his home, to pay her respects to the fellow shifter. As well as to Lindsey. "Great party so far. Danke. Always good to extend our relations with others of Gaia."

Matteo heads back in with a pair of steel toed boots in his hand, in one theres also a wallet with a hundred bucks in fives, in the other a pre-payed phone set on voice command mode, with his number set in it already, and a handwritten note about how to use it etc. He jogs over to Aarna, "Here ya go, I ordered you some other stuff too. A wallet with some spending cash, and a phone set on voice command, so you can have people enter their numbers and then just tell the phone to call them." he says as he holds the boots out to her.

"Yes," Lyric says simply. "If there WAS a threat, putting you with Journey, who is a Garou, in wolf territory, leaves Jordan and I open to go bug nuts on the threat and you are with someone who will protect you - or destroy an entire ensemble of Asura's minions with his mind while we flail about like wet kittens. Either way. You're safe." He lets Evonna get her drink and then pours himself a rather large one. "Welcome, Evonna. It's good to see one of Fenrir's brood here."

Aarna takes the prize(s) with a "Thank you very much, my friend." and a bow of her head to Matteo. When it turns out to be WAY more than boots though, she seems both surprised and maybe a teensy bit overwhelmed with the unexpected. Not that she's not going to IMMEDIATELY start playing with things, so hopefully this phone isn't easy to mess up. She's just all cold blooded resting bitch face glee! I have no idea what this is, hooray! Her money gets a little bit scattered as she gets side tracked easily through things towards her boots, which she applies right now! But with no socks yet. "I will be sure not to ruin these things." She'll TRY, any how.

Beckett watches Erin go and then shrugs. When he sees Evonna make her way towards the drinks the the Ragabash turns to her and mentions: "The hosts claim that the bounce-around can accommodate the weight of even a Crinos." Beckett then takes a drink, as if trusting that Evonna would know what to do when the moment was right. He looks over to Lyric and grins. "If anyone were to try and crash the party I think they'd be in for a bad time, considering everyone in attendance."

Lindsey takes a moment to walk into the house, there are many reasons for this. She is gone for maybe 2 minutes before she walks out and over to Aarna with a pair of socks. "Here you go, use there," she throws another look Beckett's way, but immediately looks back to Aarna. "Now you have foot cushions."

Jordan chuckles at the suggestions from Lyric. "Or at the very least, suss things out. My people are all about finding things out." He winks to Lindsey. He relaxes again, sipping from a beer. Nothing too hard, mind you. Just... relaxing with a beer!

Matteo smiles and nods, "Ya you're welcome, and don't worry about ruining them, if you do I can order more, nothing to fret about, promise."

Journey looks at the things Aarna has and nods, then sits up, looking around as a man in Down the Rabbit Hole gear comes over, Journey says, "Check the cars, see if there's a change of clothes somewhere, bring socks." He nods as the guy heads off to check.

Evonna raises her brow, looks from Beckett to the bouncy castle and then to Lyric. "Crinos? Is that a challenge? Weight, ok. But Crinos? Claws are a real thing." She looks at it again. "You want a real test, need to get Leif here. Or Miguel." She feels half the size of those two, if only maybe 1.5-2 feet shorter.

Socks! Aarna gets the one boot she'd gotten on back off again, brushing a couple fivers off her leg so she can attempt to sock herself. This is the first time she's ever bothered to try and do this, and it's... really evident. There's some muttering about homids and their complicated clothing systems, but once she figures out there's a right side up for a sock, she's totally got it handled. It's better all around, this way she wont look like she's wearing clown shoes and has super tiny ankles or something. Once she's got the boots on, she doesn't lace them, and wiggles her feet and toes, trying to squeeze them, but it cant be done! "Ooooo, these are very strong, I like them! I feel like my feet are molting, but I assume that will pass. I can kick quite a lot of things in these, I think."

Nathan nods, "The claws would be the problem, otherwise it would be damed amusing to see."

Journey gets into his satchel, rummaging inside it, pulling out an orange sock, a sky blue sock, a green christmas sock and nods, as the an comes back with a pair of socks and hands them to Journey who takes them and looks up to Evonna then the bouncehouse, then to Aarna who.. has socks. He looks at his hands full of socks, seems to have reset his thought process and just stows all five socks into his satchel.

Lyric shakes his head at Evonna, pouring himself another drink as he moves back to Lindsey. "Weight of. Not the claws. Six hundred pounds is the weight limit. LOTS of children, a couple adults." He sips his drink, wrapping his arm around Lindsey, relaxing back into party mode. "Get yourself something to eat. There's plenty. You can take some back home to your family too." He eyes Journey the Sock Elder and nods.

Beckett peers over towards the rumpus castle again. "I'm not sure they or Weathers-the-Storm could even inside... but... claws... mmm... that's problem." He then looks over to Journey. Then to Journey's sock collection. "Hmmmmm."

Matteo says, "Glad I ran into you to pass those off, if you need anything else just tell the phone to call me. And you should get everyone else to put their numbers in it before you head out tonight." he says that bit louder so people volunteer to give Aarna their number, he' subtle like that, "I gotta head out." he looks to Lyric and Lindsey then, "Thanks for having me."

Journey brushes off his hands, and looks at the castle, shrugging, "I think the question REALLY is.. what kind of deposit did you put on it?"

Lindsey nods to Aarna, watching her put the socks on, then walks toward Journey, but stops. Chewing a little at her bottom lip her eyes shift over to look at Lyric, then back to Beckett. "Okay, fuck it," she mutters, then walks over to Beckett. "I gotta know. Why. Why would you think that someone we care about and invited to out house warming would give us a cursed item. Answer me that and I'll drop it."

"A ridiculous amount," Lyric assures Journey, then turns toward LIndsey as she speaks. He doesn't move to stop her, but does follow along.

Evonna smiles to Lyric, "Many thanks. We have a lot of mouths we feed at Stonecreek. It would be quite an honor to extend that hospitality that you have shared with all that attended - through food." For now, she will go get some food, while watching and listening what is going on.

Jordan's attention goes to Lindsey at her line of questioning. He sips his beer, just... watching.

Nathan waves to Matteo, "Catch you later Matteo, thanks for stopping by."

"Thank you again, Matteo. I will call some time." She even smiles and everything! She leans to try and understand what's being talked about over yonder. Once she's got the gist she asks, "With so many magically inclined folk here, is there not some way to make the thing able to withstand claws?"

<OOC> Nathan snerks, "Enchanted bouncy castle for crinos"

Beckett takes of his drink and replies. "As an accident," he replies, "sometimes people make things with good intentions but with bad results." He looks to Lindsey as he answers frankly. "I know someone who was gifted a particularly potent Fertility Fetish without being told what it was when they... were not exactly prepared to have children in their life. The person who gave the gift thought they were being helpful... and wanted to be an Auntie quite badly."

Lindsey tilts her head slightly, studying Beckett as she listens. A great deal of her will is being used to keep from just losing her temper and as the explanation is given, she nods, "Okay. I can understand that. Thank you for taking the time to explain. I'm not as patient as Lyric, so if I offended by asking, I apologize. It may be his territory, but it is also my home. But we're good, right?" She offers her hand to him, to shake or just stare at, his choice.

Lyric nods to Beckett, laying a hand on Lindsey's shoulder gently. "That's pretty fucked up. Thank you for answering honestly. It's appreciated." He gives Lindsey a little reassuring nod, and glances up to make sure that they ARE all good.

See? Things get sorted out (again!). Jordan sips his beer, looking over to the bouncey castle as if considering.

Journey listens, head tilted, and looks back to the bounce castle, thoughtfully, keeping whagtever mad ideas he has to himself.

Beckett nods and smiles. "No one brought anything here that's going to leave a crater where the begonias used to be," he nods to the clock. "There's no magic in that aside from the innate sort makes an item special from being made from an artists' hands. No spells or surprises. It's just a very well made clock."

Lindsey glances to Lyric and smiles, leaning she places a kiss on his cheek, then she looks to the bouncy castle, "Alright people, get in line, it's time to bounce!"

Aarna eyes some of these yard peeps, being all suspiciously quiet and ponderific. "You're not being defeated by an uh. By a 'that thing', are you?" she asks all these castle considering mystics with a very slight smile to indicate that she's just being playful. 'Bouncey castle' just isn't a regular part of her vocabulary, so the name for it escapes her for the moment.

Journey sits up, "This should be interesting, we can stay under the weight limit and try to not explode the thing I guess."

Evonna looks around and sets down her food and drink. "This is a test isn't it." She looks to see who all is going in on this thing. They probably together will be beyond the limit.

Lindsey grins broadly, "I've got to see what happens and I'm not taking no for an answer. My curiosity is peeked."

Nathan chuckles, "We're gonna have to do this one at a time, you know. Don't think any of us are exactly lightweights."

Lindsey adds, "Hey Lyric, we're not getting the deposit back on this."

Journey spreads his hands, "No, no you're not." He says and looks at the thing, "Well, Lindsey, how do you want to do this?"

Surely all the kids have pooped out. Lyric says "Six hundred pounds. That's the LISTED weight. Can PROBABLY stretch it another two hundred pounds or knock it down two hundred pounds. And when we wreck it, I'll go BUY one and magically reinforce it." He grinds at Lindsey and nods. "I am aware. It's fine. Ladies.." He motions to Lindsey, Evonna and Aarna. "YOu three first."

Evonna looks to the other two. "This will not be something I think we will forget." She takes off her shoes, because of course she does for a bouncy castle! She crawls on inside and takes a few test bounces before this thing explodes.

Beckett takes a HEALTHY swig of his drink and observes.

Lindsey shrugs, "One at a time, carefully, try not to bounce too much until everyone is in, then all bounce at the same time." She removes her boots, cause that matters at this point, then crawls in slowly to a back corner and stands up.

Jordan chuckles, getting to his feet. Rather than ruin a bouncey castle, he finishes his beer. "I should get back. I need to check on Sunshine and make sure Yelena is comfortable." A wink to Lyric and a wave to Lindsey. "See you all around."

Journey watches the castle get loaded, and turns his head slightly, "see you later Jordan, be well."

Aarna uses Nathan as a leaning post to get up to her feet, dusts her butt off, and immediately trips over her undone laces. She takes a page from Evonna's book and takes her boots back off again before going cautiously towards this castle of bounces. She eyes the opening of the thing,... then crawls on through and.. and continues crawling because this is fucking *wrong* on like all of the levels and how can anyone, ANYONE, be expected to stand on two stupid twig legs on ground like this?! It's MADNESS!

Lyric grins at Jordan, giving him a wave. "See you, Jordan." Then he wanders toward the castle to WATCH, pulling out his phne because SOMETHING is going to happen.

Oh god, oh god they're bouncing! And that's making Aarna bounce! "Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!" she complains while flailing and falling everywhere like a dog in the back of a station wagon. She doesn't even make it up to her actual feet, face plants a couple times when she's almost there, and mostly just really sucks at bouncing.

Lindsey attempts to help Aarna up at least once, which means she also face plants and starts laughing so hard she can't get up herself and can't breath cause between the bouncing and look on Aarna's face... this is how she dies, lack of oxygen from laughing.

Journey watches from the outside, eyeing the bounce castle, head tilted, watching them bouncing. So far so good.. ish.

Evonna just keeps bouncing, bouncing, bouncing... and laughing! Watching the other two in there. She gestures with her hands, "Come join us! Let's see what it can really take! " She knows before long, no one will be ablet o stand, but well.. it is a party!

Lyric videos all of it. Aarna face planting. Lindsey faceplanting. Aarna kneeing herself in the face, the accidentaly back flip that almost gets Lindsey a black eye. Lyric's laughing, like he's never laughed before. Ever.

Nathan had gotten up and walked over to the castle as well with a grin on his face as he watches his sister flailing away inside the bouncy castle.

Lyric kicks his way out of his shoes. "Alright. I'm going in. Aarna! I'm going to save you from your knees!" And then he's crawling in, getting bounced and jostled as he makes his way to Aarna to help her up. Or get a knee to the dick. One or the other!

"This is entirely unacceptable floor...stuff... I do not know what it is but it is wrong!" Aarna shouts while ALMOST getting upright and then getting bounced off a wall for her troubles. It's not her knee in Lyric's dick, but her head in his gut, unfortunately, but at least she's not a unicorn or that would have been terrible.

Beckett watches all of it, trying to keep that straightlaced austere expression his tribe was known for. He glances over to Lyric's camera, a little wary of it. "You must be careful that never falls into the wrong hands," he warns as if the video footage could cause the coming of the Apocalypse. The Ragabash's attention is eventually drawn back to the rumpus. He swallows hard. "F-fine. Fine I'm coming," he says, pulling off his coat and making his way to the bounce house as if this wasn't what he was thinking about doing all evening. "Room for one more?"

Lindsey can't breath or control where she is betting bounced, she could end up with a black eye or two, broken ribs, doesn't matter cause she can't get up and can't stop being bounced off people, body parts, walls, the ceiling at one point she's pretty sure.

Journey nods, kicking off his boots, and nodding, moving to the side, lining up and running to the castle, diving into the castle, sliding inside, hands out, spreading out his weight, going Directly through a weak seam and is swallowed by the interior of the castle. there's a thump sound and a HOLE in the floor, blowing air out and tearing along the open seam.

Nathan kicks off his shoes and crawls into the castle, quickly gaining his feet and starting to bounce.. which just makes it worse for the ones not yet on their feet. He manages about 3 bounces before Journey breaks the toy and the floor of the castle deflates and swallows them all.

Lindsey is still laughing, even as the castle eats her and they all end up in a pile, her laughter can be heard, as well as a, "Yes! The... beast defeated!"

OOF! Lyric gets a head to the gut for his troubles! Rude! He grabs Aarna by the foot and drags her to the middle so she can get all the bouncies! He gets his phone out and he's just getting to his feet, videoing again as these big-ass fuckers all pile in, seriously, SERIOUSLY stressing the weight limit and the seams on the castle. It's okay. Lyric's fucking loaded and if you can't blow a thousand dollars on this level of fun, then what good is money? He has an off-road corvette, for fuck's sake! THis is nothing. And so he bounces, turning in circles here and then there is a VERY loud farting sound as Journey goes through a hole and the seam TRIES to go back together and ends up just flapping all around, deflating QUICKLY! They're all going to be trapped in there. They're all going to die! Lyric finds this to be absolutely fucking HILARIOUS and while he SHOULD be evacuating, he just laughs. He laughs so hard that tears come to his eyes and he falls forward, clutching his midsection. He snorts, he cries, he starts to suffocate as he sinks into the plastic as the bouncy house lets out another flappy fart

Evonna now slips and falls, landing flat on her ass as the thing starts sinking from the rip deflating it. Thankfully, that isn't the worst she has experienced in the last week, and she just falls over laughing so much!

As the castle deflates around people, collapsing Journey is for a moment inside one of the interconnected air pockets, looking around feeling ground under him, "Well, that was brief." And it collapses on him.

"I DO NOT WANT TO BE SWALLOWED BY A SMALL BUILDING!" Aarna shrieks as the castle deflates all around them, and grabs Lyric's leg, wrapping around it and clinging for dear life! Horrizontally, because the cat done fell over, which weirdly makes it easier to use him like ship wreckage and try to stay uh... Well, not afloat, but... Any how, this is how she dies, and MAN is her reincarnation manager going to be super disapointed in her! She hasn't even gotten rid of the new-car smell of this life yet!

"Oh? O-oh." The Uktena feels as if he's watching time pass in slow motion as Journey charges forward. He'd just wriggled into the entrance and turned around to find himself watching transfixed with the look of someone staring at their impending doom. As Journey leaps, he just barely dodges out of the way. His hopes of of bouncing immediately dashed as the bright primary colored world of rumpus room bounce castle slowly deflates around him. Fated to never know joy, the pop was still echoing in the Uktena's ears. Beckett's fate was sealed. His doom a cautionary tale to future adventurers.

<OOC> Lyric says, "Aaaw"
<OOC> Lyric says, "Poor Beckett"
<OOC> Beckett says, "With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created."
<OOC> Beckett says, "RIP bounce house"
<OOC> Nathan says, "Mooooom, the Elder wrecked my bouncy castle!"
<OOC> Lyric says, "Oh yeah? Well, how do you think *I* feel? Can't even have sex in the bouncy house because GAROU! WAR OF RAGE MY DUDE! IT IS A REAL THING!"
<OOC> Lindsey says, "LOL"
<OOC> Journey says, "you should see what I do to a Gazebo."

Lyric drags Aarna out, laughing still, tears rolling down his face, laughing so hard that his face hurts. He finds his way out, holding the 'door' open for people to escape, laughing and snorting and just.. he hasn't laughed this hard in forever

Nathan digs through deflated bouncy house to try and find Journey, since he's not only got the deflated part on him, but is somewhere in the floor as well.

Aarna scrambles out of the deflatey castle and sprawls on the ground, silently vowing never go to anywhere that isn't nice and solid again. And also water. When it's not bouncey water, that is. No swimming in gigantic pools of 7-up! "Did we live? Is everyone alive?" she asks, wide eyed and still hanging on to the ground.

Beckett's voice can be heard somewhere deep within the bowels of the mess. "No," he says solemnly. "We are all dead."

Nathan climbs out once Journey is free, and nods to Stephen, "That it is, Stephen." He shoots a glance at Lyric, "Maybe Lyric will get another one, you never know." He walks over and crouches beside Aarna, reaching down to put a hand on her shoulder, "You're ok. Just breathe." He laughs a little, "Look at it as a new experience. At least you didn't barf."

Lyric glances over at the bouncy house and laughs again. "YOu can't be sadder than the child, You're a grown-ass man. Come on." He looks over at Stephen and his heart just... breaks a little. "Oh, Baconcaller. You can bet I'm getting a new one and then I'm going to make it special so that no one can break it. Cool?" He crouches down to be on Stephen's level and offers out a fist bump. "Promise."

"I'm not sad," the Uktena Adren /insists/. "Just dead."

Stephen looks to Lyric and lifts his fist, bonking it, "Oh-KAY!" He nods, serious.

Journey laughs and moves up, "I think we're gonna head home for now though, Lyric, Lindsey, a lovely place and fine party." He's gonna leave before he breaks anything else.

"I did not barf." Aarna agrees using Nathan's vernacular. You gotta hang on to the small wins in life, like not ruining a bouncey day with a lot of projectile vomiting or instant deflation death. She takes a deeeeeeeep breath, and slowly sits up, "I am... going to go sit in a puddle for a while." Sometimes you need a minute and don't want anyone to see you peeing your pants. You're like oh, hey, just sitting in a puddle, not peeing at all.

Lyric nods to Stephen. "Soon as I get it back up, you can come visit again. We'll get Meara and Ana over here too." Once the deal is sealed with a fist bump, Lyric stands up and wanders back toward the castle. "Hey, um, Beckett? I'm going to make another one. YOu can come out. You don't HAVE to be dead. I promise that Uncle Lyric will get you another one. You just gotta come out, buddy. K?"

Nathan blinks, "Ok, well, if you really want, I'm sure there's some puddles around. Is it a mokole thing or something?" He looks around the yard, but it's probably set up not to collect water.

Stephen nods, getting scooped up by Journey as the 'Sown the Rabbit Hole' people, the Strider Kin collect and bid farewell, Journey pausing to put his number in Aarnas shiny new phone and he's gone.

There is a rustling of fabric in short little rushes like hiccups. Was Beckett laughing. This was followed by even more rustling underneath the rubbery fabric. Rustling. Stillness. Rustling. Stillness. "Oh no," he deadpans comically, "it appears that I am lost."

"Lyric said there is a stream," Aarna says, and pats Nathan's arm in an awkward display of affection. Her phone gains a number also! WOO! "No, I just like water." she adds to the Mokole-thing thing, "A nap and still ground and some water, that makes all things well." And it lets her player pass out. "I will return soon."

Lyric glances over again with a chuckle. "Alright! Nate! Get your gear! We have to go rescue a Garou." Lyric starts sorting through the folds and creases, trying to find ... some kind of entrance. He thought he had it, but it's collapsed a little more. "He finds the right part and lifts it up. "Come this way, dude. Just straight across. You don't want the humilation of being rescued from a bouncy house by a Cat. The spirits remember that shit." That just makes him laugh again and he drops the edge of the pvc, reaching out to hold his belly again. "Ow. Fuck. Laughing hurts."

Nathan laughs and rises from beside Aarna to go over and help Lyric try and open an exit for Beckett, listing a section of the collapsed bouncy house. "There's got to be some way out of this thing."

It was hard to tell in Beckett was being sincere about being lost, because truth be told a deflated bouncy castle could be quite mazelike. When Nathan and Lyric hold up the entrance Becket makes an exaggerated gasp for breath. "Never have I seen such darkness since I glimpsed onces the terrors of the Labyrinth," he claims and then winces, squinting towards the faces of his two rescuers. "Really though... do either of you two see my glasses over there?"

Lyric snorts as Beckett makes his way out. "Good job. We'll call this assisting an ally rather than rescuing a Garou," He glances around and spots the glasses, pointing them out. "Over there." Once Beckett's out, he claps the man on the shoulder. "This was fun and for real, I'm building another one. Maybe from scratch. We'll see. We'll have bouncy house duels and settle inter-species challenges with a bounce off."

Nathan shakes his head, "Amazing. Who needs an amphitheater when you have a reinforced bouncy castle. It'll be all the rage in Septs across the country." He grins, "But can you make it stand up to claws, is the question."

Beckett would make his way out of the tangled mess of the rumpus house, grabbing his glasses on the way out. "Thank you~" He says with a chuckle and then sighs. Placing his glasses firmly on his nose he looks around at the remains of the party. "Well... that was exciting. Though I should probably be going. I have class scheduled for tomorrow. Though... We'll have to test the indestructibility at the next Get brawl." That is if the Get of Fenris elders didn't kick their asses for such impudence. Beckett stoops to gather up his coat. "Glad we could have a little fun. I promise not to tell the Elders," he teases."

Nathan snorts, "Tell the Elders? One of them broke the thing, I think our secret is out already." He chuckles and starts putting his shoes back on. "Think it's time for me to be getting home too, we'll just leave Lyric and Lindsey to do their own thing."

Lyric just laughs, flopping down into a place to sit with a beer. "I'll figure something out. I don't know if I can make it claw proof." He watches Beckett leave and then leans back in his seat. "You have a good night, Nate. THank you for coming."

Nathan waves, "Thanks Lyric.. this was.. I can't even describe it, but I am going to remember it a long time. The amazing vanishing Journey." He laughs again and heads out of the yard.
