Chandler is a recent resident to Prospect. She's a medical doctor, having earned her degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She completed her First year and Residency at the UNM Hospital where she studied children's medicine and oncology. She completed her residency in 2015 and worked at UNM on oncological research, as well as for a local practice in pediatric oncology.
Chandler moved to Prospect after accepting a fellowship at Prospect Memorial Hospital. She started her own practice in Pediatric Oncology soon after arriving. She also has a research grant at UCP leading a small team developing medicines to help fight blood-related cancers. She also teaches several classes to the medical grads and undergrad students on campus.
