Drinking and Dunking
Mira and Theron get wet, Jackie and Journey join in for a few drinks.

6/21/2022 19:20:49 Mira sighs dreamily, "A Feast? The type of feast I'm thinking of? If so that sounds absolutely amazing. Especially if we can get that chef. Poor person will be exhausted cooking for all of us though." She laughs softly as she watches Theron test the water. She sits up and splashes some on him, just enough to get him wet.

6/21/2022 19:24:31 Steinar looks to Theron, arching his eyebrow a bit, "I never understood why you still use that old name. The Tribe has not used it for so long it hardly even is part of even the oldest of stories anymore." he then recalls he brought out food and water. So, he unwraps the leaves from the bundle, revealing dried meat. This he begins to munch on slowly.

6/21/2022 19:24:47 Jackie comes walking up from the parking area, just getting back into Stonecreek and carrying a paper bag. "Did someone say feast?"

6/21/2022 19:29:40 Mira eeps and rolls away from the water before standing and laughing, "Oh you did it now." She jumps into the water and splashes Theron until he's soaked then sticks out her tongue at him teasingly. She nods emphatically at Jackie, "Feast. With the chef from S and B. Just talking about it though, not sure if it will happen."

6/21/2022 19:31:27 Theron chuckles and says to Steinar, "And the kin that followed my way of combat and training are also almost forgotten to history. Yet here we are." he begins his defense but then Mira attacks.

6/21/2022 19:33:08 "Perhaps, but the name we took in ancient times we took and carried with pride. We should honor our ancestors choices." Steinar comments, taking a few more pieces of dried meat before he reseals the dried meat with the leaves. He puts it back into the backpack along with the waterskin before standing up. Shouldering the backpack, he takes a breath, "Ah, time for me to get going again." he does, however, pause long enough to give Jackie a nod of greeting.

6/21/2022 19:36:53 She turns toward the pair in the creek getting wet with a crooked smile, holding up the paper bag. "Also, I brought something, but now I'm not so sure I want to be any kind of an enabler here."

6/21/2022 19:37:51 Mira squeals and flees into the deeper part of the pond, still spraying Theron with water as she makes her escape. "I'm too young and pretty to die!" She giggles and does her best to stay out of his reach though it probably wouldn't last long. When Steinar stands she is momentarily distracted as she waves to him, "Thanks for the chat, Steinar! Hope to see you again soon." She blinks at the bag Jackie was holding, "Liquor?"

6/21/2022 19:45:42 Steinar pauses long enough to give another nod to Jackie, "Hello indeed. Have not seen you around in a while. Or you have not seen me around in a while. Could be either or." he eyes the paperbag, "Enabling? Ah, well." he inclines his head to those present, "Another time." he then wanders off towards his cabin.

6/21/2022 19:47:45 The Berserker kinfolk makea a dramatic, "Rar!" as he scoops up Mira with a chuckle and then dramatically tosses her up into the air and back down into the water. At this point he has zero regard to how soaked he is.

6/21/2022 19:54:42 Mira squeaks as she sails through the air before crashing down in the water, creating a splash big enough for even Jackie to get soaked. When the surface calms she doesn't reappear for a long moment. Then suddenly she springs up out of the water behind Theron and hops on his back, throwing her arms over his shoulders. "Victory is mine!"

6/21/2022 19:55:10 Jackie can't help but laugh at poor Mira's plight as she gets a dunking. Once she recovers, she produces the bottle from the bag. "Yeah, pretty much. The one I was talking about. Barenjager, the honey stuff."

6/21/2022 20:02:27 Theron lets himself go down under the water and then when he rises Mira is still on his back as he laughs. Water dripping fown his face. "Hm? Drinks?"

6/21/2022 20:12:44 Jackie wiggles the bottle in her hand. "Yeah, I thought this would go well with the mead theme, well, without actually being mead. So what have I missed, other than grave danger for cell phones in pockets time?"

6/21/2022 20:14:33 Mira cheers as the rise from the water again, pointing in Jackie's direction, "You heard her, she wants to enable us. March, to shore!" She kicks Theron's hips lightly with her feet as if he was a horse. "Onwards trusty steed!" She peers at the bottle in Jackie's hands. "Oooh, it sounds really good. I can't wait to try some." She hmms, "Haven't really missed much as far as I know. Everything is still closed."

6/21/2022 20:18:28 Theron carries Mira in piggy back style to shore and over to Jackie before he finally settles her down. Once done he is tugging his wet shirt up and off, "You havent missed anything that I know of."

6/21/2022 20:24:11 Jackie turns away as Theron starts removing clothing, setting the bottle on a table. "Hold on a second, I've got some small cups in my cabin here, I'll be right back." She ducks into the Skjol and sounds of rummaging through bags drift out.

6/21/2022 20:27:51 Mira pouts as she is placed down but is quickly distracted by Theron peeling off his shirt. "Nope, nothing at all.." she says distractedly before she catches herself staring and looks away. She tilts her head in the direction of Jackie's cabin before looking back at Theron, "Not sure how strong this stuff is supposed to be but it sounds really good."

6/21/2022 20:38:07 Jackie comes back out after a moment with three small plastic cups and fairly well composed expression. She sets out the cups and looks over the bottle's label as she starts breaking the seal and opening it. She smiles and looks up before pouring a round. "Looks like about 70 proof, so some care is maybe a good idea."

6/21/2022 20:42:30 Mira smiles as Jackie returns with cups and bottle in hand. She takes one of the cups as they are filled and brings it to her nose to sniff. "Smells sweet. Hmm." She takes a careful sip and lets out a soft moan, "Woow.. that's really good. You can definitely feel the burn of the alcohol but it's not so bad with the honey." She giggles, "I'll have to be careful with this." She looks between the other two and grins, "You know, I actually had 200 proof before. I got it from someone I knew in Oregon that had his own vineyard. One shot knocked me on my ass."

6/21/2022 20:49:41 Theron takes a taste of the alcohol, "Hm, thats good." he declares. "It will hit but has some sweetness to it." he approves. "200 proof?" he smirks, "You are too tiny for that." be teases, "What about you Jackie, drinking 200 proof?"

6/21/2022 20:51:53 Jackie shakes her head before taking a sip from her own cup, with only a slight puckering of her face. "Oh, no, not me. I've had some moonshine before, and fairly strong, but not pure like that. Isn't that dangerous?"

She grins at Jackie before looking down at herself and shrugging, "Well I'm in one piece and I had it twice. So I guess it's safe enough." She smiles at Jackie, "This stuff is amazing though, even if I can't pronounce it."

6/21/2022 21:06:03 Mira laughs and shakes out her hair to spray Theron, "Would you look at that, so are you!" She drinks from her bottle before saying to Jackie, "I was attacked by a wild animal. Then I had to wrestle it into submission." She nod nods, "Yep, that's exactly what happened and I'm sticking to it."

6/21/2022 21:23:44 Jackie is standing next to table where she, Theron, and Mira are sipping from plastic cups presumably filled with barenjager from the open bottle on the table. Both Mira and Theron are soaking wet with pond water, although Theron has managed to get his shirt off.

He turns and walks deliberately to a cabin, knocking, Mara coming out as he removes the backpack and passes some words with her. The usual about what's gone down with the relocation and how things are, passing supplies and information without interrupting the drinking.

She giggles and nods at Jackie, Yep, I can get wasted if I want to. I'll try not to get too drunk though obviously. Don't want anyone to have to carry me." She says this after having been carried by Theron not too long ago.

6/21/2022 21:52:24 Theron chuckles as Mira goes to get food so as to not drink on an empty stomach. Looking to Journey. "Everything ok?" he wonders.

"Well, I can drink a bit too, it's been a long day and I'm not planning on going far tonight. SOMEBODY got me driving stuff all over town, because he didn't want to have to do it himself. He thinks I didn't notice, but I caught on." She casts a very obvious grin at Journey.

6/21/2022 22:01:37 Journey walks back, nodding to Theron, "Yeah, just checking, been doing logistics runs out and about with the moving around from the Kinfolk House getting closed." He looks to Jackie, "Oh, don't worry, I didn't take the day off if that's what you were worried about." He says, looking at the bottle, "Honey mead, yeah that'll do it."

6/21/2022 22:03:53 "I did a few changes in my patrols as well." Theron says to Journey as he downs a bit of his own drink. "But yeah...It will be good for us to get the places re-opened." he explains with a smile.

6/21/2022 22:07:06 Jackie laughs, nodding at Journey. "Yeah, I know, just kidding you a little. You didn't seem really comfortable with the van, and I'm sure you had better things you could be doing. Oh, be careful though, this is a bit stronger than mead. Probably like five or six times as strong, I think?"

I ended up helping move people and helping with some of the medical concerns that always spring up." He looks to Theron and nods, "Yeah, no kidding. This whole thing annoys me in most ways, but first things first.

6/21/2022 22:25:14 "Damn." Theron grunts idly, downing a bit more of his drink as he moves over towards the hot springs, kicking off his shoes to first put his feet in. "Well, if something needs fighting, and I can help...let me know, same tell Bryan."

No way I'd not be the cause of more problems planning things out after calling out Renos trying to lie to my face in the middle of the Mystic Valley. Between him and Six, I can best serve a solution by keeping the hell out of it and coming in when I'm needed, not before."

Philodox, remember." He shakes his head, "It was Six herself who tried straight up lying to my face as in direct falsehoods. Both lies, just different styles." He sighs and rubs his head, "So nope, letting the Coggie handle things." He lifts his hands, "I know when I'm not going to do well with some folks."

He looks to Jackie and nods, "Okay well I'm off, got the supplies, and checked in, things are good, I'll take off, keep doing what needs to happen." He turns and heads off, back down the path, "See you later guys." He calls back, walking out.

At least there are some things we can get away with not worrying about, right? Take 'em when we can get 'em. Then again, you seem to like swords a whole lot, so maybe you like getting into the heavy stuff?"

If I want to get a huge rush and feel like I can do anything, I get behind the wheel. And sometimes I drink. But not at the same time as the driving. But, uh... how was the water up there? How hot do those things get?"
