The Duchy of the Setting Sun This is an NPC run territory within the City of Prospect. It encompasses the 'Harbor District'. +map/Harbor. The following information is listed in order to help new and existing players choose which area they would like to report to ICly, and if they choose the Duchy, who they would be 'reporting' to. Any and all questions can be directed to either SugarGlider or Coyote. Counties County of Lion's Reach, predominantly Seelie, downtown Prospect (RL San Diego) and surrounding suburbs, extending chimerically from the shore of the Ocean of Pacifica across the cliffs and plains, though the Eastern and Western Woods, over the Snow Fangs and into the Shadow Sands desert. Made of up 3 Baronies: Barony of Astral Seas (County Seat), The Block, and the Barony of the Ebon Watchtower. County of Ember Skies, uniformly Unseelie, well north of Prospect (Off grid, RL Del Mar) Made up for 3 Baronies: Weeping Leaves, Cranesfell and Dusty Rivers County of the Emerald Dale, predominantly Seelie, south of Prospect (RL Chula Vista) encompassing Shelbyville, Made up of 2 Baronies: The Barony of Twisted Oaks and the Barony of Painted Stone County of the Reflective Dawn, uniformly Seelie, just to the north of Prospect (Off grid, RL La Jolla) Made up of 2 Baronies: The Barony of the Gilded Wheel and the Barony of the Mirrored Shore Which Will You Choose? Ducal Seat of Caer Buillemilis Caer Buillemilis is located in the harbor district of Prospect. When a PC chooses to be a member of the Ducal seat, they would answer to NPC nobility, primarily either the Steward, Marquis Melyn Silver Tongue ap Eiluned, or Countess Ymina Even Hands ni Gwydion. They would have access to the Courtyard and receiving room of Caer Buillemilis, from which they can access a balefire when needed. PCs who choose to join Caer Buillemilis will be responsible for running PrPs for each other, organizing holidays or social TPs. While these PCs are welcome to visit the lands of Lion's Reach, they would not receive priority invitations to Lion's Reach PrPs or events and excessive time spent within the Freehold of Lion's Reach will be considered theft of Glamour. Activities that incite the ire of the Count and Countess will be reported via herald to the Duchy. Lion's Reach PCs who choose to be members of the Lion's Reach County recognize the authority of the Count and Countess and agree to follow the terms of the Escheat as interpreted by them or accept the consequences for breaking faith. Members of Lion's Reach will have priority to participate in County plots and events. They have full and free access to all of the County bale fires. Members of the County are not necessarily members of the Noble court or Household; there are plenty of opportunities to be a relatively independent Commoner, simply one who recognizes the rule of the Count and Countess.
