6/20/2022 10:40:09 Rumbling from one side of the building as one of the loading bay doors opens and Journey drives a van in, letting the Gnawers unload supplies as he leaves it to let them unload it and comes to the commons proper.

6/20/2022 10:40:56 Jackie looks like she just got here, and it still just looking around and getting a feel for the place.

6/20/2022 10:43:43 People relocated from the Kinfolk House are settled in, Gnawers cooking food in the morning as people wake up, Journey moves amongst people, checking here and there, making sure things are okay, asking about medical needs. He walks over to Jackie, "Hi Jackie."

6/20/2022 10:46:50 Jackie turns around from looking at the clinic, surprised to hear her name. She smiles and waves hello as she recognizes Journey. "Oh, good morning! Pretty busy here today, huh? I'm guessing more than usual?"

6/20/2022 10:49:41 Journey nods, "Yeah. Those more comfortable here than Pennington or the other locations are settled in neatly here. Seems to be going smoothly for the moment. We've been able to move people and supplies to help the relocation. The Striders weren't really hit by this and we got enough folks and cars and are used to running things around." He nods, then looks to her, "How're you?"

6/20/2022 10:52:27 Jackie gives a small shrug. "Fine, I guess? I mean, I'm not one of the ones displaced. There's not a ton I can do to help out though, other than help move people and stuff around. I do hope people can relax and go back to normal more sooner than later."

6/20/2022 10:54:38 Journey nods, "Yeah, this is really a pain in the ass." He says, tone darkening, "But there's a real threat, and Smoke and Barley and the Kinfolk House aren't one hundred percent anymore and until we get that level of safety back." He shakes his head. "Nope. No chances taken."

6/20/2022 10:59:59 Jackie nods, glancing out the windows at the city beyond them. "Definitely better safe than sorry, of course. I know I'd like to keep my parts on the inside of my skin, and I'm betting most of the people here feel the same way. Is there anything else that needs doing in the meantime while the source of the threat is being hunted down? I figured I'd come down here and see what they might need, even if it's just some help with maintenance or doing supply runs. I don't have the cargo space of a van, of course, but I get get around pretty quickly."

Take the one I just brought in, and use it to shuttle supplies." He says, getting into his satchel and pulling out a fold of money, handing it over, "Gas money."

6/20/2022 11:11:41 Journey shakes his head, "Nothing like that, We got people, Giselle's one, her whole thing is finding deals, closeouts, sales, yadda yadda, there's a store where everything in it is ours, purchased, needing to be moved, or spots to pick up deliveries, Hunters Game, my sporting goods store has camping supplies to get picked up and moved out to the contact points to be collected and lugged the rest of the way. You may want to use the bathroom before starting." He jerks a thumb toward the loading bay, "Ask for Reebok, he can use a phone and not destroys it, so he's got logistics and is coordinating with the Walker Phone, you got a Walker Phone?"

He gets into his satchel, and pulls out a phone, "About.. shit five six years ago we set up a system with the Kinmagi and spirits, it's networked through the Tech Haven, I got a guest..." He powers up the phone and nods, putting it into Fingerprint scan setting. "Put your thumb on the button over and over till it tells you to stop."

6/20/2022 11:22:19 Journey tilts his head from side to side, "Quasi magic, more like resistant to being spied upon or hacked." He nods, getting his phone and tapping the screen as messages come in with chat group 'Supply Runs' "There, you'll be able to use al the stuff, and they can send GPS tags. You'll likely be driving with a couple of other Kin who will be loading or unloading or whatnot just to get it done quick." He shrugs, "I don't know exactly WHAT or Where you'll be moving stuff, depends. but you'll get drive time in Prospect for sure."

6/20/2022 11:30:48 Journey nods, "I don't know how they're doing right now with unloading the Van, but I think we got a few minutes." He nods, turning to walk toward the loading bay, "there's like a million little things, and we got more people moving stuff, so you're not alone, if there's a problem, text and people will respond depending on what you need. Everyones working together."

6/20/2022 11:34:16 Jackie follows along behind him, watching the activity and noticing that it's actually less chaotic than it looked to her at first. "Nothing like a crisis to pull people together, right? Or shatter and break them, if they suck. I'm glad we're not suckers."

Actually destroyed our Beach House, where Stephen was born, that was a whole thing. But the entire area came together and got through it while we delt with the spiritual imbalance to take the heart of the storm out."

6/20/2022 11:42:55 Jackie chuckles, spinning the key chain on her finger. "Well, I don't think I'll be doing battle with any storms, but this part I can help with at least. And if any of the vans start acting up I can whip them back into shape too."

6/20/2022 11:45:44 Journey nods, "I'm sure, last option should be the Auto Club, it should keep a car running through anything but like a missing wheel. Still if there's anything, swing it into Riley Kustoms and text for another vehicle. Shouldn't need to, but you know as soon as you take it for granted you'll find a pothole or screw or something."

6/20/2022 11:48:39 Jackie pats a zippered jacket pocket. "I've got a few of those too, but hopefully I won't need them. Actually, this is one of the few times I'm hoping for a boring driving experience. Because if it gets exciting today, that's probably going to mean bad news."

HE drops to the ground, looking under the van, "Yeah, full sized spare under there, held on with the..." One hand lifts, fingers tracing a circle in the air, "Cable.. thing.. and there's a-" He pops up, pointing to the hump above the rear right wheelwell, which is traditionally where the jack, tools and the like are kept, "-- Kit.. Tire- Van, Medical-" His speech is changing, and for a moment he sounds like Leif gets when he's talking tripping over words, "-Fixing thing, all the cars have.. that." He stops talking, having wound down to nothing.

6/20/2022 12:02:54 Journey nods as the doors get closed, and he looks around, hands together, "Right yeah okay." He nods, "Okay good. I'll head out and let you get to driving." He nods, and pauses, then, "Thank you, Jackie, this'll help." He says and smiles, then turns and walks off, a man with a clipboard stepping up and watching Journey leave. "Okay I'm Reebok, Hi, we got.." And he goes into the current state of things, prepping her for the first stage of moving things.
