5/28/2022 20:20:46 Jackie's car pulls into the front lot of Madd Mods, her tires only squealing slightly in protest as she comes to a rapid stop from a high speed. The door opens and she hops out, taking a quick look around before heading up and knocking on the door since it looks like it's after normal business hours.

5/28/2022 20:23:30 Erin is over a car looking at the engine. She looks up when the car comes rolling in and she calls out "Come in" She wipes her hands as she stops working and waits for you to come in. The black cat is sleeping in a chair.

5/28/2022 20:25:53 Jackie pushes the door open and slips in, waving to Erin as she enters. She takes a good look around, breathing in the oil smell. "I got your message, what's up?"

5/28/2022 20:30:01 Erin smiles "Thanks for coming.. Thought we could talk about shop now that we have a free moment" she gestures to a chair "Or would you like to go to the office?"

5/28/2022 20:33:09 Jackie glances at the office door, then back at the car Erin was bent over. "Well, that depends on what's wrong with that one, and if you prefer to talk or test what I can do?"

5/28/2022 20:36:41 Erin looks at the car then towards you and smiles softly "Well if you want me too test you out... Then sure.. Show me what you got and find out what's wrong with it" she smiles.

5/28/2022 20:42:14 Jackie nods, looking animatedly excited as she gears up for a challenge. She takes off her jacket and rolls up her shirtsleeves, foregoing getting into full coveralls for what's basically just a simple diagnostic to start with. She takes a quick look around to familiarize herself with where the tools are set up. Then she leans over the car to look over the engine, seeing if she can trace what Erin had already been poking into.

5/28/2022 20:50:12 It doesn't look like Erin did a lot of poking and it looks like a simple fix here of a lose spark plug and some lose wires honestly and maybe some new oil. Nothing super complicated.

5/28/2022 21:03:15 Jackie pokes around a little, tries to start it, listening to the noise for a moment with a trained ear. Focusing, she hardly seems to notice Erin for a little while. She spends a bit of time checking the spark plugs, reseating and connecting them. She turns it over, letting it roar to life. She pulls out the dip stick, checking the oil, then cleaning it and testing it again. She eventually kills the engine and turns to Erin, her look of focus relaxing a bit as she wipes her hand on a cleanish rag. "Alright, this one just needed a bit of attention. It'll live without some fresh oil, but it'd be happier with a fresh batch to smooth it out. That about match your review?"

5/28/2022 21:05:24 Erin smiles and gives a nod "Very good, you have done well.. Perfect" she gestures to the waiting area where there is fresh popcorn, donuts and a Keriqu to make your own coffee "We get some easy ones like that sometimes a little more complicated"

5/28/2022 21:09:51 Jackie stops at a wash station to give the grease a good cleaning from her hands before following Erin all the way to the customer waiting room. "Well sure, most things tend to be routine. But I can handle complicated things too, no sweat. Custom work too, including for performance. I do like some racing mods too, when I can play with them."

5/28/2022 21:11:59 Erin sits down by the cat and smiles "we get all kinds of stuff in here, not just cars but other things to fix" she smiles... She looks thoughtful "I hope you know that I won't have any hard feelings if you decice to work for Miss Vesta instead of here. " she tilts her head.

5/28/2022 21:19:11 Jackie looks a little uncomfortable, not wanting to exclude anyone generally, and especially being so new in town. "Well, I mean, with everything that goes on with the family, I'll probably be more part time and by job anyway, so I can probably help out in both as needed. Even under the table is fine if that's how things operate out here, since most of us like to stay under the official radar when we can. But in any case, I want to help out, not be idle and a burden, you know?"

5/28/2022 21:21:07 Erin nodsnods "I just wanted to let you know and I am fine with that honestly you can work what you want here or there just make sure you communicate with me and all is good.. Do you want to be under the table or all legal and shit?"

5/28/2022 21:23:17 Jackie shrugs, unsure of herself on that. "Whatever's better here, really. Back h- where I came from, most things were under the table. I don't want to assume too much, or cause trouble. Then again, having an actual good health care policy also has its benefits, right?"

5/28/2022 21:24:58 Erin nodsnods "No rush just think about, honestly I can go either way with it.. i'm pretty easy or at least I try to be" she smiles "Any questions for me about the place or the job?"

5/28/2022 21:28:48 Jackie glances back at the shop area thoughtfully. "Well, I was kind of curious about the forge. That setup seems a bit unusual, or at least I'm not used to such a setup. I take it that it's for creating custom metal work parts for body mods? Maybe mostly bikes?"

5/28/2022 21:30:37 Erin hmms "Is for creating whatever we need to create. I've made some jewelry, swords and things from there.. So it's there for whatever we might need" she nodsnods.

5/28/2022 21:34:28 Jackie turns back to Erin, her curiosity pretty well satisfied. "Alright, cool. I have a little experience with that, but probably not as much as you. But yeah, I hope I can fit in and help out, at least a bit."

5/28/2022 21:35:28 Erin smiles softly "I've been at it for a long time" she nodsnods "Any other questions?" she reaches over to grab some popcorn.

5/28/2022 21:38:53 Jackie tilts her head in thought for a moment, before straightening out and shaking her head. "No, I don't think so? I mean, I think I'm pretty familiar with how most garages operate. Both legally, and, well..."

5/28/2022 21:41:22 Erin giggles "Nothing illegal here honestly... I stop doing chop shops a long time go" she winks "We go legal here, maybe not all our workers are but our work is" she nodsnods.

5/28/2022 21:43:46 Jackie grins at Erin. "Hey, nothing wrong with that. I just know that not everyone out there likes everything we can get up to sometimes, so... discretion and stuff."

5/28/2022 21:45:52 Erin nodsnods "Yeah some are not vvery happy about mechanical shit so yeah.. So I will let the crew know that you will be stopping by to help and so you can show up and then get to work.. If I'm not here, just give me a call.. Sometimes I'm at another place that I help out too" she nodsnods.

5/28/2022 22:09:30 Jackie leans forward, gasping softly. "Oh, nice, paramedics! That's pretty cool. I'm a better driver than I am a paramedic, myself."

5/28/2022 22:18:59 Erin smiles "I am sure they always need drivers but you would have to speak to Jake, an he has been really busy i'm afraid" she takes a breath "But there are a lot of jobs out there and folk here will all be willing to take you into their jobs" she nodsnods

5/28/2022 22:49:19 Jackie looks a little unsettled at Erin's shudder. "I'm not really familiar, but is that a problem? And if so, why?"

5/28/2022 22:51:22 Erin shrugs "Depends on who you ask really. Some don't care ,some see that as a big problem. Just depends who you ask.." she hmms "I am not a big fan of the 8 legged things" she comments about the shutter.
