5/23/2022 22:26:41 Jackie comes up the driveway in a quietly humming car, then pulls off to the side out of the way to park it. There's several long seconds of hesitation before she opens the door and gets out, taking a look around and then back down at what looks like a sheet of leather in her hand. After a second she shrugs and tosses it across and onto the passenger seat. She closes the car door before speaking quietly to herself, "Well, this better be the right place."

5/23/2022 22:35:09 Branton nods at Reno "That works then. As long as you know what you're in for." Then when a car pulls in to the parking area across the way Branton offers a wave "Evening. Can we help you find someone?"
5/23/2022 22:36:44 Taking the sword back, Reno puts it in its scabbard. He looks up at the car approaching. Once the occupant gets out, he sniffs at the air just a bit. He tilts his head and looks to Branton, "Kin ..." He says before rising to his feet. "Depends on what 'here' you are looking for." Reno calls to the young lady.
5/23/2022 22:39:30 Jackie walks across the yard to comfortable speaking distance, glad she wore boots tonight. She smiles at the pair a little awkwardly as she answers, "Well, not really anyone in particular, just expecting to find some extended family members? I think this is the right place, but by uncle is a little bit old school and scored the directions into a sheet of deer hide instead of giving me a GPS address. Perhaps you know the type?"

The Den Father's occupied at the moment. If you'd share your Tribe we can see about getting you in touch with your local relatives."
5/23/2022 22:47:48 Jackie lets the awkward part of her smile drop away with the confirmation that she wasn't lost. "Great, yes! Ok, right, I'm Jackie, Jackie Hagen, I mean. Or I guess Jacqueline Hagen if your den father prefers full names for formal introductions. And I am of the Get of Fenris."

5/23/2022 22:55:45 Brooke comes back from her phone call. "Will they never learn that all in one printers are the work of the wyrm, not the weaver." That is a joke really, but printers are evil. "Sorry about that, may be an Elder, but my day job helping my clients never ends. Oh and we have someone new!" She pulls out her introduction again, "I am Brooke Spencer, rited Hushed Blaze, Elder Galliard Glass Walker born on two legs, packed with Zephyr's Hand. Member of the Random Interrupts, and Master of the Howl for the Sept of the Enduring Spirit."

Especially with being in charge of Kinfolk, Cubs, and Cliaths. 5/23/2022 23:03:44 Jackie blinks at Branton's litany a couple of times, trying to remember it all and succeeding in getting maybe half of it memorized. Then she raises her hand to wave in greeting to him and the others. "Well, great to meet you all. And I hope bringing the car up here was ok? Some folk back home weren't really fans, but it would have been a really long walk without it. It is greener than most cars, if that makes a difference."

5/23/2022 23:13:12 There's a REALLY big fucking wolf that answers the howl from not very far away. ~~Coming~~ the wolf declares and it's just a few minutes later that the hugest wolf most anyone has ever seen makes his way in, slowly, rather than barging in and scaring the fuck out of both long term and more recent arrivals.
5/23/2022 23:14:37 Brooke's phone rings. She looks at it. "I think this fight with the printer is going to keep going /until/ I meet it face to face. Sorry everyone, I got to run. It was nice to meet you all." As she sees the wolf coming in she nods toward it. "I'll catch up with you later, I am sure. If you need me, find me at the Tech Haven." She hands out cards for the newcomers and then is gone.
5/23/2022 23:15:09 With the howl complete, Quicksilver turns and steps back towards the group. He shifts midstep and folds his hands back in front of him. "Stonecreek is not far from here. Leif won't take long if he heard the howl." He looks over towards the woods, "You can hear the trainwreck coming now." He teases a bit. He bows his head to Brooke, "It was an honor to meet you."

5/23/2022 23:23:52 Train wreck? Leif's pretty goddamn quiet for something as huge as he is. He moves with a calm clarity, huge eyes scanning this way and that and he wanders up to the group, plants his front feet, and sneezes. SNEETZ! His whole body shakes with the motion and fortunately, there isn't snot everywhere. But he does sit down after the sneeze to recover.

It takes her a moment to recover her composure and bow a little clumsily to Leif. "Uh, greetings, elder. My name is Jackie Hagen, kin of the Get of Fenris. I just arrived in this territory earlier tonight. And I've come to present myself. You know, formally."

5/23/2022 23:41:39 Fucknormous Wolf threatens another sneeze, but he pulls his shit together. He backs off a little and circles around twice and then slowly reforms into a man shape. Seven feet tall. Seven. Very large feet. His bulk sort of adds to the bigness of him. He's just fucking massive. But when he speaks, his voice is calm and relatively quiet and laced with a pretty distinctive Oklahoma accent. "Evening, ma'am. Welcome. I'm Leif Pederson. I am ritenamed The Wall and I am Homid Athro Modi by birth and rank and auspice. I am the great Grandson of Dies Twice, ranked grand elder before he was returned to the cycle in honorable battle against the wyrm. My pack, Munin's Talons, has dedicated itself to Wild Raven, to give us strength and wisdom and the ability to defeat our foes. In service to Gaia and by the will of my tribe, I am also the Tribal Leader for the Get of Fenris."
5/23/2022 23:51:05 Jackie seems pretty familiar with the sight of a wolf shifting into human form, but does get tripped up as she focuses on the wrong spot and finds herself looking at his chest as he keeps on growing past her eye line. She blinks as she adjusts, tilting her head up to refocus on him. It takes her a moment to find her words again. "Ah, uh, yes... Nice to meet you, Mr. Elder Pederson. So, I'm not sure if word got ahead of me and you might have been expecting my arrival or not, but I came in from the East coast. A bit of a trip, really. But anyway, I was hoping I could find a place to fit in around here. And find a way to help out somehow, if I can?"
5/23/2022 23:55:09 Branton grins as he watches someone else get startled by the giant man's transformation. Its much more fun from this perspective. While they get to talking Branton goes back to his duffle and straightens things up from all the rummaging he's been doing.

I think I can handle the local traffic cop, so long as he isn't looking for you for burning down the police station or something." He offers a jovial grin. "Anyway, I ran here, so I can't personally get you to Stonecreek, but I can for sure get someone to take you there, get you settled into a cabin for now. Whether it's permanent or temporary is entirely up to you."

And a couple that I don't recall exactly what they started as but I'm almost a hundred percent sure they weren't police stations."

I've got some Alchemy to check on. See you all later." And then he starts heading over to the parking area to grab his truck.

My mate, my child, my mother, about forty more of us, all living in a little community of our own. Which reminds me that I need to dig up the damn ... thing... again. Without Katja there maintaining it, we had a flood the other day and that was a mess."

It isn't often that his Wyld Touched kicks in these days, but sometimes, he just gets a little excited. "That thing you said." He smiles at Branton. "Come hang out soon, my dude. No need to bring wares if you don't want to. We enjoy your company."

"Yeah, ok, maybe I should head over and take a look at it? I've got my tools with me in the car, since I haven't actually unpacked yet."
