Scene
Fernando transfers his cigarette to the left hand and leans in to slap at Hennrick's shoulder, then glances about as the various Cainites settle in. "Alright guys. So we've got a plan to be packing up and getting serious down here in Mexico," he states. "Of course the first step for this is making things official," he states with a nod towards Ambrose. "Any second thoughts, now's the time to back out, because once this becomes official, we've got blood tying us together." As if everyone didn't know that.
Ambrose gives Hennrick a return nod, with a simple smile. "Hola, messire. Messina." The latter to Cat, as Ambrose takes a seat. As if he expected what Fernando was going to asking for, Ambrose reaches into his jacket and pulls out a hollowed out skull. Taken care of and etched with several liturgies around the skull cap. It's not beautiful, in any case of the word but the visage of it definately makes one think they are looking at some sort of relic, having a sense of weight tied to it by how it has been manufactured and created. "It is more whether you all accept me, more than I accept you." Ambrose says. "My path is different than yours. You all cling to humanity with every unused breath, whereas I have decided to follow Caine's path personally. If we do this, to become hermanos and hermanas, I will state that I will never besmirch your choice, nor chastize your ideals of following it. But I wish to make it known, that I disagree." Making the ideal of 'I am not a human and do not believe in being so' clear. "But I shall forever encourage you to follow it...and help you...how I can."
<OOC> Ambrose addresses Cat and Henn specifically, as it has been told to me Fernando is a creepy Path follower too :D
"I don't want to be a bitch," Catalina says, which means she probably is, "but I don't care what religion any of you guys follow so long as you've got my back when some Camarilla cunt tries to skull fuck me." She gives the three men a shrug and her dark browns settle on the carefully prepared skull for a moment. There doesn't seem to be any hesitation on her face as she steps away from the wall and toward where the others have gathered. Slender fingers are slid into her back pockets and she looks from one to the other. "So if that's settled how about we do this shit, with a proper Lasombra Ductus," she says gesturing to Fernando, "and take this fucking city back from the losers who let it go?"
There is a wink and a nod at Fernando when the pale Lasombra grasps Hennrick's shoulder. Listening to his words, the Serpent gives Ry a spank and nods at the door to send her to make sure its locked and bolted so they aren't interrupted. Rubbing his tattooed hands together he shakes his head and says to the pack as a whole, "I'm in. No backing out here. We come together, we secure TJ..." Trailing off he knows its info they all know already so there is no reason for him to say more.
Smiling he nods to all that's said from the rest of the pack before he replies. "Right on. We all have our path, or roads to walk. But we do it as a pack now." Looking to each in turn he smiles to Cat to say to her, "We all are here for each other. We got your back as you got ours." Looking at the group he can't help but grin. "It feels good, this... Us."
The also creepy looking Fernando smirks faintly at Ambrose and tilts his head from side to side. "Eh, they have eternity to learn to abandon their humanity. No rush. I look forward to packing up with you all, and there are advantages a young Cainite has when able to blend in with the sheep," he muses before giving a shrug. "Alright, sounds like we're all in agreement. I'll let our Priest take over from here then," he states firmly, rolling his neck in anticipation.
Ambrose arches a brow at Cat. "But cunts can't fuck anything." He says, becoming anatomically confused. Oh well. As it seems everyone is now ready and waiting Ambrose slides a knife out of his pocket and picks up the skull-cup. "It is often told among the Sabbat that Caine is the Dark Father, that makes him better than humans and thus gods." He then approaches Fernando to do what he will do with Hennrick and Catalina afterwards. Offer the knife and hold the cup to bleed into it. "But they forget that before Caine became the Father of us all, he was a farmer. A man who tilled the soil." Next to Hennrick, to do much the same. "That it was he who worked the field, bled into the grain, to feed and care for his family. So it is, that it is by providence that Caine's brood reap his grain. Were it not for him, for his humbleness, for his tenacity, that civilization would not exist." Lastly to Catalina. "So it is that we bind ourselves as a family with Caine's wisdom. To tend the civilization he weaned, and reap of it's bounty for the betterment of us." Ambrose, lastly, bleeds into the cup, slicing his hand to fill the skull cap to the brim. "To become more than friends, but kin. Regardless of Clan, or lineage or prestation. We are cainites, who choose to tend Caine's field together. To bind them, cultivate them, and reap them. Who better than us, to grow the field of Mexico, than Caine's children?" He offers the cup to Fernando first, as Ductus. "To fellowship, kinship, and bounty. Drink, and be blessed."
When the knife comes to her Catalina meets Ambrose's gaze. Her lips are pursed as though there are words waiting but she says nothing to interrupt the sacred rite. Grasping the knife she slices across her palm and bleeds precious vitae into the skull, returning the knife after and watching as the ritual proceeds.
Hennrick waits for his turn and takes the offered knife. He doesn't clean the blade before its used to slash across his palm with a quick and efficient slash. From her place at the door, Ryleigh watches, licking her lips as she watches the vitae drip from her domintor's clenched fist into the skull cup. Handing the knife back he looks to the rest of his pack as the ceremony continues on. When it comes time to drink, Hennrick watches as Fernando is given the skull for that first drink. Fernando slices his wrist and bleeds in to the cup with the rest, then as it circles around, he takes the cup and lifts it to eye level. "As we drink, so we all become stronger together. I take this cup now not as a privilege, but as a responsibility" The cup is then lowered to his lips and he takes that first, vital sip before passing it along.
When the skull cup comes to him next, Hennrick gives the thick vitae within a swish as he lifts the rim to his nose, breathing it in. His fangs show in the smile that follows, his eyes shifting to the golden hue that shows off the serpent within before he drinks, not speaking as the skull is passed on.
Catalina watches as the skull is passed from Fernando to Hennrick and then to her. Like Hennrick before her she says nothing. The young woman simple lifts the skull to her lips and takes a measured drink of the vitae mixed within. Withdrawing the skull from her lips the tip of her tongue swipes across them to catch anything left behind and then she passes the skull on to Ambrose.
Ambrose takes the cup following Catalina and finishes the drink, gulping it down like a man who just found water after days of thirst. A trail of blood lingers down his lips toward his chin as he finishes drinking the last ounces of vitae and sets the skull down. His skull flicks out and across his lips to swipe up the remnant blood as he lets out a *BURP*. "Praise Caine and his Sword." He says, taking the skull and returning it to where it was and the knife, still not being wiped off, gets tucked back somewhere on his person where he had it before. "So." He looks around and finds a place to sit. "I take it we are going to hold office hours here, then? The dancers aren't to my liking...a little lifeless, but I guess that can be fixed."
