| Ambrose was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the son of a mixed family. A cultural hodgepodge, Ambrose's life was not dictated by culture but by faith. Receiving a Jesuit Education he became an ordained priest of the Society of Jesus and part of the laity of New Orleans. It wasn't long however until he began to uncover something sinister, and what he found changed him forever.
