As the sun sets on Prospect, the news stories have just begun to cover the strange occurrence which seems to be taking place in downtown. Footage of events as they are unfolding at Broadway and 4th capture what appears to be thousands of people gathering amongst tents and various picketing signs demonstrating for fair rights not just for one percenters. Things have been escalating over the last 24 hours, and local authorities are on high alert as traffic is being impeded and businesses are beginning to suffer from the impact and damage being caused. Local government is stymied by the occupation, being an election year the Mayor is looking to avoid taking strict action in response. At the same time, things are growing more out of hand, and the Mayor may soon have to declare a state of emergency if this growing mob of people is not put to rest or satisfied in some fashion. Worse yet, there is rumors that aggravators are believed to be hidden in the crowd, and are inciting things further as the night goes on. Local law enforcement has not been able to find a singular voice to represent the demonstration, and negotiations have failed. Meanwhile, they are waiting on word from the Commissioner's office on how they should proceed as things escalate.

Meanwhile, at the Edwards 18, Montgomery is reclining in a comfortable and huge leather chair. He's dressed in a manner as typical, in a suit fashioned in the 1960's; a black suit with white pin striping, ivory shirt, and conservative gray tie. One leg over the other, he's reading 'Frieze', a magazine dedicated to art

Guivre comes rushing out of the back of Elyisum, back near the offices and he stops rather suddently staring off in the general direction of the riots, "They are rioting in the streets." He has no phone or other device in his hand that is apt to connect him to the outside world but he wears a grave expression all the same, "I can hear the fear..." He holds his hand up and blinks... inclining his head ever so slightly as if listening to whispers. "Desperation breeds unrest."

Always the nosy type, and keeping an ear to the street, and his informants for any information he appears at Edwards still holding his cell, and swiping away as he gets reports on the news events. (Martino)

Amelie was at Edwards 18 Elysium, checking in with staff when she was informed of an issue outside and looks concerned. She continues to speak quietly with them for the moment, making sure they are ready to secure anything. She looks up when Guy runs in. "I heard something was going on from my staff. This is troubling."

Sentinel enters, wearing her human mask of course. She's a silver-haired woman dressed in a long white tunic, black leggins and simple tennis shoes. Nothing to stand out, just trying to blend and not be out of place.

Daniel is probably not far behind Amelie and he frowns, looking from Gui to Amalie and back again, pulling out his phone to start making calls himself if necessary.

Martino glances to Guivre, and nods. "Getting reports now, Primogen." And he looks back to the screen, although he spares a moment to give a polite enough nod of his head to Amelie and Daniel.

Montgomery's eyes peer out over his magazine. "Not good," He stands, stretches unnecessarily, and tosses the magazine onto the now empty chair before proceeding closer to the assembled crowd.

The sounds of the riot can be heard even just a few miles away. Sirens and emergency vehicles around and the foot traffic is extraordinary right now, even this far south on Lincoln. It certainly makes appreciating art a bit complicated. For those more in-tune with the psychosis on the air, the unrest burrs and quickens all the more, provoked towards the ever-building unleash of madness like gasoline to the flame. Information comes from all around the city, chatter and speculation - some dismissive of the 'hippies' and their protest for equal rights, and others warning of the impact they'll have on Prospect and its businesses. Fortunately for those just trying to blend in, the chaos provides the perfect distraction for many things to transpire in the bump of the night. An all too perfect distraction in fact. One of the staff members runs over towards Amelie and Daniel and says, "The mob is moving south, down 4th street. They're moving through Prospect Memorial Cemetery now."

Martino holds a finger up as reports come in to him, "Maybe we should, but we need to be careful. First, it is in known Sabbat territory, and the ones who started this as what appeared to be an honest enough protest by primarily young men and women, college aged who are demanding equal rights for low-middle class. Its' anti-wealth and society. Wanting debt forgiveness, and free college and health care. At least - that's how it started. And the ones who are aggitating the sitatuion seem to be taking advantage of this protest, and causing it to esculate. Businesses are being broken into, and the looting and damage is beginning to start. It seems to have nothing to do with Chinatown however, and the problems there.

After hearing Marino's words, Montgomery removes his suit jacket, unfastens his tie, and puts both down in turn on the chair with his magazine. He unbuttons his collar and his sleeves, rolling them up past his elbows; "Let's try to blend in as best as possible, in case 'the worst' happens." There's a look of concern on his face, and not the happy-go-lucky expressions he's used to giving.

Guivre turns back around to face the room, "I have a crazy idea." Imagine that, "Do we know who is spear heading this? Is there a central guiding force? A head on this beast..." Guivre walks back over and looks between them, "I could project my aura, my spirit, outside of my body and take a look on things in the street, so we know who or what we are dealing with before we move forward?"

Martino shakes his head at Guivre, "Word on the street, and others couldn't find out who the aggravators are, but they are insighting the crowd and looking to build them up, and aren't linked to the original protesters. They seem to have their own purpose. I wouldn't put it past the Sabbat to try something, too much has been pointing lately that they haven't left the city as much as some think. But, that is my personal opinion."

Amelie hmms, "I know that the Tremere, Deputy Cray was watching over the Cemetary - as there had been some issues there." She listens to the others and nods. "This is not my forte, but I'm inclined for us to use whatever means we can, short of breaking any traditions, to get information on this and even see if we can diffuse this. It is not good for the mortal population for this to occur."

Guivre goes to take a seat on the same plush sofa where he usually park its and he takes off his boots... to pull up his feet and cross his legs. He rests one hand on each knee palm up and closes his eyes.... after a few seconds of chanting his head falls back onto the sofa and he's out... Out of Body- that is.

"I believe if the Sabbat wanted to do something, they wouldn't bother manipulating kine; this is either the Anarchs or the independents acting up." Montgomery opines, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "..or the Tremere. Let's not put it past them with what they had just done,"

Martino glances from Amelie to Montgomery, "That might have been so is they didn't have a member currently in transit in a box. But it /could/ be a delayed reaction from what happened at the Mosque. And the night is still young. Anyone with a grip might cast their two cents in as well until the hydra grows a dozen heads."

The volume from outside is getting louder, as the crowd continues to be moving south towards the Elysium. Sirens and car alarms can be heard outside, and the screams and chants of the disgruntled youth ring out. The news depicts scenes of violence, and people dressed in all black with black masks concealing their faces who appear to be throwing rocks and insighting further upset. Law enforcement struggle to maintain the lines, trying to direct the crowds South down 4th street and away from the downtown area as best they can. Discussions on if releasing tear gas into the crowds and calling on the National Guard are necessary measures. Though the consensus seems to be that the Mayor has not yet issued the order, and is still trying to negotiate with the crowd. Little do they seem to know, what this started as, seems to have grown well out of hand.

(Astral) On the astral plane Guivre moves toward the source of the chaos... all the while listening and looking for something or someone at the epicenter. He walks from person to person... staring into eyes that can't see him and he searches for some evidence of malicious intent. He sings softly to himself, almost as if boldly hoping to draw attention of anyone able to see him, "Olly olly oxen free..." Guivre finaly mutters to himself when he spots the gangsta in question.

"Keeper, not to make myself seem like a complete and total pussy, but is there any place to hide if the shit hits the fan?" Montgomery asks Amelie, with discretion being the better part of valor and all.

Eventually though Guivre wakes up with a start and he falls out of his chair, his long hair falling into his face and quickly being swept aside as he clatters to his feet. "I found him." He starts for the exit and then suddenly seems to remember he was barefoot- he looks down at his feet and doubles back to put on his shoes. In doing so, he explains, "I spent time in the astral plane looking for the source and I encountered a man with a ballcap and a white bandana." Guy pops back to his feet, "I am going to find him and pacify him, possibly knock him out... it might be dangerous, no telling what sort of powers he was using."

Amelie looks to Montgomery. She walks over to him and patpats him on the head. "Don't you worry. We are safe within Elysium. We are already underground, as well as have the finest trained security ghouls and security systems to block us off here."

Martino looks to the others, ready it seems to follow Guivre. "I can hide us all if need be, and move through the crowd. Who is good with mental abilities?"

"I am great with them, I will do you one better though... if you can aid us with safe passage in the sewers? We may be able to bisect the crowd, I know exactly where he stands... two blocks to the North-west." Guivre looks ready to go and he pulls his long hair back into a low ponytail before flipping up his hood, "We'll need a safe way to transport him back for questioning." Guivre plucks a large white flower from a vase and turns to the Amelie, "Sorry Keeper, I owe you a daisy.. its part of the plan."

Martino nods to Guivre, "Whoever is willing, I can get you through with no problem. I was just trying to pull up a map of the area for you, but moving through the sewers is quicker."

Amelie gestures to Guivre, "Anything I can give you to help is at your disposal, Primogen Beauregard. What can I prepare here? Are the two of you able to handle it, or do you need a guard or two to go with you. Or the myself as well?" She does not include the scaredy cat Montgomery.

"Good, I will be able to stop him with a phrase.." Guivre explains as they start to move out and he turns back to tell the Keeper, "See if you can find us a Deputy, perhaps? Thank you, Keeper." He turns back to Martino, laying out his plan, "Keep us under Obfuscation even when we are in the sewers, once I encounter him on the surface I will make myself known... the power I am going to use on him will scare him to his core. He will be shaken but it lasts just an few moments. We will need to act fast and get him underground where we can restrain him."

Montgomery grins brightly as he's head-petted -- which doesn't last for long. The daisy has him raise his eyebrows, but he doesn't say anything. He just watches the interaction for now.

Guivre is moving quickly so they don't lose him.

Martino nods to Guivre, and tells him, "I can do that, just remember to not say anything, or you will betray us all."

A staff members returns to Amelie's side and says, "They're at Belvedere and 5th street Keeper.. should we start locking down?"

Amelie nods her head to the staff member. "Alert the staff in the theater above, have them lock those doors as well. Make sure to send an alert out to all Kindred within the Praxis not to come to Edwards now. If they need a secure place, they should go to Carlton."

Martino takes Guivre out down a special entrance nearby, to the sewers, so that there is no chance oursiders can see them enter. Once there he uses Obfuscate to keep them hidden, even in those areas he knows well. "Use your Heightened Senses, or anything else you have to help you see down here so you can keep up," he tells Guy, and he he heads out quickly, ignoring the scurrying rats as he orders them to move aside. It seems that he gets just a bit ahead of himself perhaps, and gets slightly turned around. The first time they pop up to the street, it seems their target has moved. They have to backtrack a bit, but eventually they find the target ~ in about thirty mintues ~ but luckily they encounter no obstacles, and are not seen, leaving Guivre free to do his stuff.

Amelie makes some calls, and Deputy Jackson makes his way here, and she explains the situation quickly to him. Deputy Jackson nods, and is ready to assist when they get back with the package.

Guivre uses his heightened sense as the Nosferatu suggests and generally follows his lead rather closely as they traverse the sewers, he stays silent and makes sure to keep his daisy out of the muck. When he does speak it is in a tense whisper, "I will be relying on you to help me get him back, as I said.. we will have mere moments."

Guivre points him out when they find him, "There he is... get my back." He says before he walks out boldly holding up his daisy and speaking in a broad orator's smooth tenor. "Friend, brother..." Guivre continues to approach the gangsta with a black backwards ballcap and a white bandana around the bottom of his face. The daisy branish like some sort of shield- meant to give his opponet pause as he locks eyes with the stranger. Guivre's brilliant blue eyes are hard to look away from and he smiles kindly as he says in the most innocent way, "I think it is Time to Stand Down." Guivre puts the flower into his hand...

What happens next, happens quickly, the hard street gangsta drops to his knees clutching the flower and sobbing. He falls into the fetal position and he blubbers as Guivre starts to scoop him up and motions to Martino. "Go time."

As they simply become apparent to the crowd at Guivre's speech, Martino uses that streetwise brain of his to merge with the group easily enough, and does move up to cover Guivre's back.

Montgomery, unfortunately, has precisely zero abilities to help in the current situation. "I'm too new to offer anything but moral support," he announces as the sheriff's deputy comes in.

Once the agitator is apprehended, the crowd starts to cool down and begins dispersing. The aggressive young man is taken down with a daisy, and carted off by Martino back to the Elysium. There Deputy Jackson is waiting, and takes him into custody quickly. You're all praised for your assistance in defusing the situation, and the Deputy leaves with the man - surely to be deposited in Sheriff Baldois' torture chamber somewhere.

The crisis was averted, the Elysium is safe, and for just a moment - those present have found a way to be heroes, despite the monsters they suffer each night.
