Jake and Journey arrive at the Underground Garden to meet up with Brooke. He offers her a fist bump. "Okay, well, I really like your facial recognition idea, Brooke. Thought maybe we could give it a try." He looks around. "I wonder if we need to do it in a more secure place though. Someplace where...well, if something went wrong we wouldn't be putting a location at risk. What do you two think? Do we need to do this somewhere really secluded?"

Journey comes in and moves to sit in one of those rolling chairs and gestures to Brooke, "Media Stalking with Technology, I defer to Glasswalker judgement.

Brooke hmms with a grin. "We have servers here that are secured, firewalled, and I'm going to use a phone that not only has our hypertech in it, but does not have any service or wifi." Not that that means anything to some of them. "I'll upload it in a sandboxed PC, and then get it to grab all the parameters need for the facial rec, and get it to search." She adds, "This place, itself, is a secured location. I'd much rather do this here, than elsewhere. Even my home."

Jake nods slowly. "Okay, as long as you're good with it. Was just making sure. Like to cover all the bases, you know." He looks from Journey to Brooke and squares his shoulders. "Okay, let's see if I can recreate his image again. Without shotgun. Oh, by the way, I still have a Stormcrow checking out their area. As more information comes in I'll let you both know." He then concentrates a moment...

Jake's image then morphs into...the man in the desert! Leather coat and all!

Journey nods, sitting and listening, watching, but just waiting for the moment to see this happen. New to him.

Brooke takes out the phone, getting the camera ready, and she takes photos. Lots of photos. Making sure there is a clear one of just the face, and then puts on the video feature to go around him, getting all the angles, and hitting the button for a few more still shots as she gets around him. Once done she goes over to the station she has set up and plugs the phone in via cable. Time to start the search! "Any particular areas you want me to search? Or just do a general one that includes here to the desert?"

The stranger replies to Brooke in a raspy voice, "Well, I'd check San Francisco, Vegas...hell, everywhere. No telling where this asshole could be from." He stands still so Brooke can get all the photos she needs, including removing any clothing should she require that. He scans his own hands as if looking for scars or tattoos. Anything that could be useful.

Journey points, "Prints, can you do Fingerprints?" Journey leans forward as it gets started, "If you need to put in specific pictures or video to match let's make it stupid poses and singing 'I'm a little Teapot' or something in case it gets back to them." It's an idea and maybe dumb, but it's funny to HIM.

Brooke taps away and away, "Ok. I got a name. Frank Turner. He is former CIA, only in that three years ago he was lost on a mission, and reported dead. Obviously, no one has seen him, or at least reported it until we did this. Looks like he had been digging into a home grown terrorist unit called the "War of Moon.""

"Frank Turner, eh?" Frank looks down at himself. "Okay. That's a good lead." He looks over at Journey. "War of Moon. Sounds like a Rite name."

Journey frowns, "War of Moon?" He thinks, pondering the information. "CIA?" He makes a face like he's figuring out what that means in this instance, "A CIA Field Agent." He looks at Jake, "Sounds like something. Well no CIA Field Agent is going to be able to keep the psychologists out of their head to conceal a Garous nature. Late change is possible, but Odds just shifted towards Formori. If he was taken by Dancer on a Mission, then whatever came out of that desert floor MIGHt be only wearing his face. Literally, though you would have mentioned if he moved like a Hollow Man."

Brooke nods, "That sounds like the best possibilities. I'm not sure I will get much more on this guy, but I can keep searching to see if I can find anything more out about this "War of Moon""

Frank nods to Journey. "I was thinking the same thing. Could just be Frank's husk. In fact, that's probably the case. I'd wager Frank's been turned. Still, we can certainly use his image to our advantage. Now that we have his likeness we can always pose as the man. Just need to get a shotgun that looks like his, which is easy." He nods to Brooke. "Well, good work. Thanks Brooke."

Journey nods, "OH YEAH, Franks been turned SOMEHOW." He nods, "Frank ain't going home to Thanksgiving unless it's to eat the family." He frowns and looks to Brooke and nods, "Sure let the good times roll. Let's see what's out there." He's enjoying watching this.

Brooke shakes her head, "Well, that is perfect." She stops typing and gives her information to her packmates. "This cell is tied to some religion. They worship something of a name unknown yet that is evil and dark. It corrupts societies and looks like they are spreading all over the United States. This is a splinter cell that calls themselves a war pack. They want to push out their enemies, by using tactics to take over all around a major attack site. They have a lot of activity in Mexico, eastern US, and some parts of Canada. Looks like they are just recently coming toward the West Coast."

Frank looks thoughtful. "If he's thought to be dead then I would imagine he keeps a low profile and keeps out of the big cities. At least that's what I'd do. I mean, with cameras and video surveillance everywhere." He regards Brooke again. "War pack, eh? O-kay. Interesting. Sounds like a damn big organization."

Journey frowns, "Have they Actually identified this group as comprised of nonhumans?"

Brooke looks back through it. "Nothing that I can see yet. I can keep digging. Next stop would be standard google search - never know what kind of propaganda they have out there already. Perhaps a manifesto even."

Frank nods and continues to watch Brooke work her magic. "Well, it sure sounds like a large organization. Hard to keep that sort of thing totally secret."

Journey sinks into the chair, feet flat on the ground, turning slightly left and right, elbows on the arms of the chair, steepling his fingers. "Hmm."

Brooke's eyes widen. "Well that explains a lot. So there is a website out there. Looks like it was put up for a few months. Looking for people to come target SoCal. As well as Nevada, Mexico, and San Francisco. They had a questionaire? I'm guessing to see how easy it would be to taint someone. There was an address given to meet up at - which is out in the desert, and not that far from the hive you found."

Frank looks from Journey to Brooke. "Well, tainting is always fairly easy. Easier than most people think. Near the Hive, you said? Hmmmm..."

Journey smiles, and snaps his fingers, "Okay now we're talking. Whom, pray tell ran yonder website and what can be gotten from that?" He pauses, "You're getting all this stored somewhere, yes, questionairre and all that?" He nods to Jake, "Yes questionairres are a perfect way to peek into the mind and plany little ideas, and sew doubt that there's something nor right that you didn't know you needed. I think Cosmopolitan gets moat of its readers that way."

Frank grins widely. "Well, we're a lot farther along than we were and have some great leads." His features begin to change...melt...and reform back into Jake. He thinks a moment. "Okay, we'll continue this discussion later and decide what the next step is. Gotta lead a patrol tonight."
