The gang investigates a blood plague in a Chula Vista mobile home park, buys some drugs, and finds a wolf. | |

Spheres | Vampire Anarch |
It's currently around midnight on a chilly, cloudy night. Everyone is currently in the middle of a large mobile home park in a poor neighborhood in southwestern Chula Vista. And they're here investigating a mysterious epidemic of bloodborne diseases which, evidence suggests, are being spread by a group of unknown Kindred in the area. Attributed in the mortal world to drug abusers, the police have taken notice and, worse, the CDC is set to arrive within the week. While Nadira is off helping to distract the police watching this park at the epicenter of the outbreak, the group is searching for the source of it in order to get it out of their city, by whatever means necessary.
The party is fairly deep within the complex, which has a few blocks of mobile homes on either side of a curvy road leading from the entrance to the back. Having passed the office, Camilla, Karen, and Arizona are currently down the third side road on the left, near the end of the branching path. This area at the very end and the few mobile homes about it, they've discovered, is the territory of a neo-Nazi biker gang. One member of the gang lies on the ground beside the couch, knocked silly by Camilla's brutal Potence-backed slap. Fortunately the others are inside for the moment, but are very much active and likely won't be thrilled to see the group and what they've done should any of them peek out. Best of all, the group has heard that they're supposedly heavily armed, and probably not entirely with weapons legal anywhere in the country. The unconscious biker's abused sister sits there as Camilla attempts to convince her to come with her to escape her situation.
Nearby, walking down the central road through the complex and passing the side road the rest of the party's on, Flavien is moving on deeper within the complex, led by a pair of Filipina sisters towards a Colombian drug dealer allegedly selling some new, potent stuff that sounds quite suspect. Whether through earlier invitation and late arrival, Auspex or other Malkavian gift-related sense that he's needed, or just a psychic call through the Madness Network from the bored Luna looking for some entertainment, Guy is able to find his way to Flavien to help out.
Back with Camilla and Karen, the woman with ombre-blonde hair seems rather moved by Camilla's words. She looks down at her brother, back at the trailers, and then at Camilla herself again. Through combination of Camilla's powerful charisma and her own desperation, the sniffling woman seems convinced. "You're... You're serious?" she asks, her eyes widening. "I... I... Thank you. We... We should get out of here. They ain't gonna be happy," she stammers. Unless Camilla or Karen have any questions for her, Arizona helps rush the woman out of the complex to safety, leaving the other two there to decide whether to investigate this area further, or check elsewhere.
Camilla nods. "Yeah. I'm serious. I'm a firm believer in using my means to help people who genuinely need it, oui? But here's what we'll do." She pauses for a moment, casting a curious glance towards the unconscious brother on the ground. "We can come back later to get all of your things. Or? We could help you get what you need out of there right now. My sister is out near the front of the complex, and I'd be glad to hand you off to her. She'll take you to our place for the evening, and you'll be able to get some rest." Her brow quirks, as she curiously flits her gaze towards the trailer.
"In my opinion- it might be best to come back later, or not at all. 'Stuff' can be replaced. Mmm?"
Flavien spares a glance back toward where the other group branched off to take care of whatever is going on with pigs, machine guns, and damsels in distress, but it's only a glance. "Yeah, fuck that, I'm trying /not/ to get shot," he agrees with Carli, hustling along in the direction that the two Filipinas are heading, a little faster now. If he does need to come running back this way he'd rather not be in the middle of trying to talk to this Colombian, whoever he is.
"So this Colombian guy just does coke? Or does he have like molly and shit too?" he asks Aniya and Carli, tilting his head back and forth. "No smack, right? I mean, cool if he has it, but sometimes the guys who sell that stuff get a little intense. And not in a uh normal, I'm a drug dealer, respect my shit, type of way, but in a way where you feel like you might end up stuffed in their trunk if you're not careful." Guivre sneaks in, following intuition and what ever whims guide him to Flavien's side despite the dangers all around them.. he arrives with a grin. Walking into sight the Malkavain upnods to Flavien and calls conversationally, "You buying drugs without me, friend." The girls get a lopsided grin and a friendly open palmed wave as he greets them with a simple, "Ladies."
Karen takes a moment to watch Arizona start to leave with the woman, when it's time. She sees Flavien start to leave now, and turns her attention to Camilla just before Guy appears. She gestures behind her with her thumb. "We should probably get out of here now." She doesn't move yet, however, not wanting to leave Camilla's side in case they come out of the trailer and things get hot... and not hot in the good way. If there's going to be a fight, she'll help Camilla throw hands. She keeps her eyes on Camilla, waiting for their next move.
"Our trailer's empty right now... Most of the guys are drinking at Jeb's." The blonde woman talking to Camilla gestures to one of the trailers with lights on and voices faintly piercing through the walls. "I'll grab a few things and slip out the back." Arizona offers to escort her to ensure nothing goes wrong. The group is free to move on, or do more over here. Or they could, of course, hang around to make certain nothing goes wrong. Fortunately, it seems the trailer she lives in is on the southern side towards the entrance of the complex, so a back exit at least should be quite possible to sneak away from unseen, even if the other bikers exit. At the moment they should have a clear shot right back down the road before any of the bikers notice them, unless they get very unlucky.
Aniya and Carli, the Filipina sisters, are more than happy to move on, leading the pack if Flavien and now Guy lag behind. They're definitely not waiting for the other party to join them. Carli answers Flavien, "Hell yeah. Dude's got some really dope weed. The good Guatemalan shit. He's got molly too, yeah." Aniya seems confused by Guivre's arrival, looking at him with skepticism. "The fuck?" She looks over at Flavien and asks him, "This your white dude?" They pass by a couple of roads as they near the back of the complex, a large chain link fence separating it from an arid desolate lot under construction work behind it.

Camilla cracks a small smile... "Alright. Ari'll keep you safe I'm sure, okay? We'll be along once we're done seeing who we came to see. A fair warning about my sister... She, ah..." There's a moment's pause, before she shrugs. "Being honest with you, she's alittle bit crazy. But it grows on you after a while... We'll introduce ourselves later, okay? For now, just get what you need and get out of here before they notice." She looks towards Karen, and nods...
"Want to come with me? Or would you rather go with the party squad?~"
At this point, Flavien is honestly barely even surprised to see Guivre unexpectedly showing up whenever and wherever. Malkavians, how do they work? "Heyyyyy," he calls, waving Guy over. "Yeah, but he's cool," he assures the sisters, all while giving Guy a look that says /be cool goddammit/. "Aniya, Carli, this is Chuck. Chuck, these lovely ladies are showing me where the good stuff is."
You paged Guy with 'Things seem mostly calm and peaceful at the moment throughout this part of the complex. Aside, of course from the scuffle with neo-Nazis the other half of the party was having. However, in the spirit world the place is... a bit of a mess. A strange, disgusting fleshy creep clings to the umbral reflections of the ground and structures about. Vile looking spirits sulk about in the shadows of the otherworld, preying upon anything not fitting the corruption of this utter spiritual cesspit. The blight seems to be far more concentrated to the right, down the two side roads in that direction. The first one you pass seems far worse, and in the distance you can see 'somethings' clinging to the ground, walls, and even a few floating about. They look like tumorous, diseased puffs of bloody puss. They're likely some sort of weird nasty spirit, perhaps drawn or produced by the epidemic of disease here. Or maybe they're just some random funky spirit aesthetic thing? It's really hard to tell with the unknowable insanity of the spirit world.'
Guivre is doing his very best to be /totally/ cool and he falls into step with Flavien and the ladies, asiding to his friend, "You, uh, sure about this place, buddy?" He cuts a casual look around and maintains a genial grin even as the cadence of his voice takes on a tight edge, "I don't know if I dig the vibe around here-" The Malkavian lifts his foot as it stepping -around- something that isn't there and he sneers at the air, commenting softer, "Especially down that way." He nods to the right end of the complex, staring off for a few seconds and seeming ever part the drug seeking space case he was dressed up as, adding without missing a beat, "Let me in on that good stuff? I got cash."
Karen, at Camilla's question, looks over to Flavien and his group as they start to become the size of little ants. She spots a 4th figure with them that looks sort of familiar from a distance. Guy? She turns her eyes up to Camilla and nods her head. "I'll come with you. I don't want to leave you alone." Better to be in pairs. Strength in numbers. Arizona had to take care of the woman they saved. Jodessa and Deven... strangely left... so it looks like there's only 4 of them now. Minus 3 but plus 1 in Guy. "Where are we headed?" Karen asks. Arizona and the woman she's escorting sneak off into a trailer, fortunately just in the nick of time. As Camilla and Karen discuss where they're going and prepare to head out, the door that was point out as 'Jeb's place' flings open, and half a dozen leather-clad bikers with patches and tattoos that make it clear, even outside of context of the rest of the situation, that they're neo-Nazis pile out. They're a diverse mix from scrawny white racist to chubby white racist, but they all look like they probably know their way around a fight. Holding beers and cutting up as they pour out, they all suddenly stop as they look between the two white women before them, and down at their downed companion, who has begun to stir and begins muttering gibberish in a 'slapped silly' kind of way as he slowly returns to consciousness. It looks like Camilla and Karen are going to have to figure something out quickly.
"Alright, if you say so," Aniya replies to Flavien's reassurance, with perhaps a hint of skepticism but little enough that she's willing to give 'Chuck' a chance. Carli offers him a, "Sup, Chuck?" There's certainly a bit more skepticism when he talks about the bad vibe in the area, but when he shows towards where, Carli looks down the first right road and nods. "Yeah, it's pretty shit down there. Just a buncha white assholes that shoot up and panhandle all day and night. Uh, no offense, Chuck." Aniya shakes her head to dismiss the worry. "Don't worry, the dude we're going to us up here," she points ahead towards the far left road, intend on leading the group that way should they not decide otherwise.

Camilla blinks as the men emerge from the trailer. She rather immediately draws in a deep breath, and shifts her posture... "Oh, hey there boys!" She chimes without her accent. "Did you have fun at your party? My friend and I were just walking by and saw this man on the ground... So we stopped to see if he was alright." She tilts her head.
"I think he passed out from drinking. But... Who knows?~ We'll be on our way. Enjoy the rest of your night?~"

To be fair, White Boy Chuck is kind of ruining Flavien whole 'man of the people, caramel swirl' vibe, but he remains affable enough. "Give him a break, he has money falling out his ears," he says playfully to the two women. "We keep him around because he /always/ buys the weed and he /never/ bogarts it. Right, Chuck?" He leans over to nudge Guy's shoulder, and as he does, murmurs a soft aside, sotto voce and right quick about it.
"To the left, to the left," he sing-songs, Beyonce-style, pointing down the street. All the drugs, down the street to the left.
Guivre or 'Chuck' as he has been dubbed this evening plays the part and his charming lop-sided grin at the mention of sharing weed takes on a James Franco toothy-ness as he agrees, "Yeah, man, spread the love around..." Guivre continues with the party train but he does glance over his shoulder, looking to the right.. /one/ last time before shaking it off and heading to the left. "Too the left!" He echoes, but with less rhythm.
Karen turns her attention to the men coming out of the trailer when she hears the door open. She begins to size them up. There's... quite the mixture of them. As much as she would love to bash their heads in, she looks up once more to Camilla in silent wonder of what their next play is. Peace is probably the best play right now. Getting shot probably doesn't feel all that good. She's quick with the Martial Arts and all, but probably not quick enough to dodge a bullet..... at least not yet. She decides to add in with Camilla's words. "Yeah, he's out of it. You boys should probably take him inside and make sure he doesn't hurl all over the place. He doesn't seem like he can hold his liquor."
A tall, lankier biker steps forward with a quite unhappy expression in response to Camilla's clear attempt to deflect from the situation. At least clear to him. After all, why were these two random women in their turf, why was this dude just randomly passed out? "What, ya think we're stupid 'r some shit? Yer gonna tell us right now what happened, and y' ain't goin' nowhere 'til you do." Several of the other bikers seems like they're going to follow along with him, until a large, muscular, chubby one with a swastika face tattoo steps forward, chuckling like a giddy grade schooler, and pointing at the stirring biker. "Fuckin' Joe passed out drinkin' 'gain like ah BITCH! Ah bet he PISSED 'emself again!" Cracking up, he gestures the others over. Half of them seem to just buy the excuse along with him, and follow him over, joining him in the cutting up over the situation. The biker, now dubbed Joe, attempts to look up at them and point while mumbling almost half-coherently. Unfortunately for him, his addled attempts at speech are hindred as the large Awed neo-Nazi begins pouring beer onto his face, causing him to choke. "C'mon, bitch! Yer sister can handle booze better than ya! Drink!" The three other intoxicated bikers around him get caught up in the fun, chanting between cacking, "Drink, drink, drink!" They seem distracted enough to just slip away from. Unfortunately the first one, who might actually be somewhat sober, and another wider biker don't seem to buy it. "You two stay /right/ there!" the first one orders, before moving over to them and trying to get the others to stop. "Cut that shit out, idiots! Some shit's up. Let 'em talk."
Meanwhile, the two sisters seem to buy it. "Aight, aight. I get it," Aniya relents with a shrug, grinning at the prospect of this white guy buying them weed. She leads their group along to the back of the complex, taking the left road between the back fence and the final row of mobile homes. Notably as they head down that road, the density of what Guivre saw lessens somewhat, although it's certainly still present. They stop in front of a mobile home that actually looks to be in half-decent condition, with a cute little lawn gnome sitting in front of it. "Aight, here we are," Carli says. "Just be chill and it'll be cool. Armando's kinda a tightass about business." Aniya nods in agreement. "He's gotten real tense sense his Mexicans got taken out. Hang back a sec while we get the door." The two sisters then head towards the entrance, should neither Flavien nor Guivre disagree with their plan.
Camilla, for her part, lets out a long sigh.
"I told you what happened, boy. And I'll tell you now that I /really/ don't appreciate the tone that you're taking with me for my fucking goodwill." Her eyes narrow, and she idly grips her cane. "Now I half debated just leaving his nazi ass on the ground. You telling me I should've just kept walking instead of checking if he still had a pulse? Go party with your boys before I call the cops on you for harassment... Fuck." The Ventrue shakes her head... And then turns, making to walk away. She mutters something to herself... Trying her best to play up the genuine 'scorned samaritan' apparently.
Also just high time to get the hell out before they DO go get the machineguns.
That would be an unnecessary mess.
Flavien has no objections to waiting outside, and he loiters as instructed, scanning the area around with a weather eye, though even after having learned what it is Guy's been unfortunately seeing, he still can't see it himself - but he's kind of used to that. Malkavians. "Chuck, Chuck, Chuckles," he teases, grinning at Guy now, but still mostly in character. "We need to go down and check whatever's happening down that right-hand street next, if this doesn't pan out? Cause I think this guy might not have the thing we're looking for. The source of the-" he wiggles his fingers and makes a 'bleh' face. Then he adds, quieter so that no random ears will overhear "Talk of Mexicans being taken out and Irish dudes makes me wonder if another friend of mine might be involved or if it's just a coincidence of turf war shit."

Guivre nods a few times, good naturedly to the reapeated nickname and the choice of 'Chuckles' gets a haughty loft of both of his brows as they wait, "Fitting." He chuckles and rocks from the ball of his feet to the heel with his hands jammed into the 'roo pocket on his hoodie, "So.. why are we here, is it just the drugs?" Guivre looks around and whispers softer, "I can get us drugs.. or, are we--" He doesn't say investigating, not with his voice, but his eyes suggest it before he continues, "Pan out?" Guivre is two-steps behind and catching up quickly, "Oooo." The blood disease. "Right." He looks over his shoulder vaguely in the direction of he right end of the zone, "Something weird is going on, it reminds me of what it looks like around Trinity. In Maple Park.."

Karen smiles, only because it seems like the group is taking to the whole 'Joe passed out drunk and probably pissed himself' angle. Camilla starts to get heated when the other one breaks off and tries to make them stay. When it looks like Camilla is going to start leaving, she shrugs her shoulders and gives a wave to the one man that is trying to tell them to stay. "Byeeeee... You should probably help out your friend!" She says in a voice laden with what one could describe as 'cute.' Hey, she's blonde haired and blue eyed, this Nazi fuck should be able to leave her and her friend be, right? As soon as she turns her head away from them, the smile wipes away from her face and her face darkens. "Let's get the fuck out of here." She says quietly towards Camilla.
The downed biker coughs and choked as beer is poured onto his face, but it does actually seem to finish snapping him out of it. "The fuck, man?! Cut that shit out! What the- that bi-!" Fortunately, before he can report on what's happening, another beer is poured over his face, choking him to the chants that have changed to, "Pants pisser! Pants pisser!" One of the two bikers confronting Camilla and Karen break off to try to get the others to stop so they can hear what the other has to say, running over there full speed. "The fuck, cut it out Frank! Let 'em breathe!" He does, of course, run into resistance to his attempts to ruin everyone's fun. Except Joe. He's not having much fun tonight. Unfortunately, the tall, lanky skinhead on Camilla and Karen's case certainly doesn't take the former's words well. "Oh yeah, lady? Is that what yer gonna do? You two get the FUCK over here! We're gonna have a little talk," he says, lifting up his jacket to reach for a gun while with the opposite reaches for Camilla's arm as he lunges at her.
Meanwhile, as Flavien and Guy stand back as their two Filipina companions knock on the door, they notice a curious sight. A guy walking his dog down the street in the middle of the night, right before them. Only, it's a very, very large dog, easily mistaken for a wolf. In fact, as it gets closer, both of them can tell... it actually does appear to be a literal wolf, not a wolfdog, and a fairly large one. The dude walking it looks a fair bit worse for the wear, his skin broken out and fairly pale. Not 'corpse' pale, but certainly sick pale. He's covering his mouth as he coughs, inbetween the large beast pulling him along. Which happens when it spots a rabbit on the other side of the fence. He seems to be able to almost handle it better than one might expect, but when it gets going he's definitely not doing more than slowing it down. "Fuck! Down! Bad Jill! Bad! It's just a fucking rabbit!" And Jill certainly seems intent on chasing it as it sprints along the opposite side of the fence. Meanwhile, a light brown skin man with a shaved head answers the door. He's got a light beard and moustache, groomed around his mouth and chin. He seems paranoid when he answers the door, especially at the sound coming from the street, but he relaxes when he sees the two women. They begin talking with him, glancing back at the two as they do. Yep, he's definitely a bit paranoid about the two strangers, but Chuck being a loaded white dude who buys all the weed seems to be a story that he buys. Carli looks back eventually and motions the two over.

As the man lunges, Camilla very suddenly spins about... Her expression is stern. Set with a sort of commanding mien the likes of which would fit right into the most cutthroat Wallstreet board rooms. And it's there that she simply, forcibly, violently states...
"Stop. We are leaving."
Whether successful or not? The woman will then turn about and attempt to continue walking back the way that she had come. If it doesn't work out then... This might be about to get messy.

Flavien's attention is drawn by the Very Large Canid and its, er, friend, as the two of them travel down the street, and he watches them for a moment before turning back toward the door. He focuses on Armando for a moment and squints slightly before affixing a guileless grin to his face. "Sup," he says with an upnod. "Aniya and Carli tell me you're the guy to talk to around here. My man Chuck has the cash -" he grabs for Guy's shoulder. "Chuck - hey, Chuck - shit, dude, this place is weird. That dog - that thing looks like a fucking wolf, right? And that guy doesn't look like he's doing so good himself. Reminds me of that thing I saw on the news, about all the people getting sick. Is that some kind of STD or what?"
Guivre is distracted for a looong pause as he stares off into the distance at the wolf being walked- it isn't until Flavien grabs his shoulder and then he snaps back suddenly. Blinking a few times Guivre clears his throat as he listens to what Flavien is saying and tries to follow along with a perfectly performed vacancy on his face that makes him look like a mindless stoner. It isn't shock but there is a veneer of confusion when he follows up Flav's questions with a, "I don't watch the news, bro."

When the man manages to lunge at Camilla, Karen spins around as well. She's hoping she won't have to throw hands, but she will... especially if that man manages to lay a finger on Camilla or herself for that matter. Luckily, that doesn't seem to be the case. Camilla tells him to stop, and a part of Karen wonders if her fellow Ventrue used the power of Dominate to get this man to stop. She studies him to try and see so. If it looks like she has, Karen will just turn to try and walk away again, but if she hadn't... or she did and it didn't work... Karen will tell him. "Listen, go tend to your friend before your buddies drown him beer if he's not already drowned in his own piss."
The biker stops as his hand is inches from Camilla, before retracting it. It takes his brain a second to process and rationalize why he stopped, before Karen adds more. Hhe waves a hand dismissively and turns around, walking back towards the others. "Fine. Get the fuck out of here. And don't come back" he says, convinced it was his own decision. As he returns, he and the other guy are gradually able to get the others to let up on Joe, but fortunately slowly enough that Camilla and Karen have plenty of time to escape well before the truth has any time to come out. Then again, will Joe even remember as hard as Camilla slapped him? And will he admit to being knocked out in a single blow by a woman even if he does? Probably best to not test it.
Elsewhere, the other two are dealing with a very different situation. When Guivre checks out the wolf and the guy walking it, he notices pale blotches within both of their auras... Ghouls? The wolf's aura color, unsurprisingly, shows that it's quite excited. That's easy enough to tell as it drags the poor bastard walking it all the way to the end of the road, slamming into the end of the fence and for a moment appearing like it might actually knock it down. It growns and snarls at the rabbit, which disappears off into the distance. The poor bastard walking it is left trying to catch his breath inbetween coughs. Armando the Colombian drug dealer, however, has a very opposite looking aura. Flavien sees no pale blotches in that aura. Instead, for whatever reason, when he checks he's almost blinded by the apparent brightness. This man must be a werebeast of some sort... Or perhaps some sort of fae being? Or even... an angel?
At the very least, Armando seems to buy their stories. He spreads his arms welcomingly as he greets the two. "That's right, Armando is the man to talk to around here for a good time. And that's what these two lovely chicas tell me you're here for." The man leans further out the door when Flavien mentions the wolf, his features scrunching together in confusion as he stares for a moment, before shrugging and straightening up. "You see some weird things from white people in a place like this. No offence, ah, Chuck," she notes, offering a nod to 'Chuck' at the end before looking back to Flavien. "All that sickness they talk about? It's a problem of low-life idiots who buy low-quality trash from those motherofbitches Irish sons of my bitch. Armando has the best product around, straight from Guatemala. You want powder, Armando has the best powder. You want crack? Armando has the best crack. You want weed? Nobody makes better weed than the Guatemalans who supply Armando. Anything else worthwhile, Armando probably has better than anyone else this side of the border. Now, what can Armando get you fine gentlemen?"
Camilla shakes her head as she and Karen walk away... Uttering to herself this and that about both men AND nazis. Nazi men, even. But when they're clear of that street, the Ventrue runs her hand through her hair and lets out a tremendous sigh. "...A bit much of a diversion, I confess." She says to her companion, "But we're back on track now. There's a house I wanted to check- but once we're done with that, we'll try and see where the others ended up. I don't have high hopes for it... Tinfoil man gave me both of these houses. And I'm almost debating not checking it at all." Her free hand slips into her longcoat's pocket...
"What did the others find so far anyway?"
"Chuck," Flavien says, gesturing to Guy, and then turning back to rifle through Guy's pockets. Perhaps he gets a little handsy. Who's to say, really. It all happens very quickly. Eventually he comes up with some cash, and appends to it a rubber-banded wad of cash of his own. "Ladies, whatever you want is on us tonight. The girls said you have molly, yeah?" He tilts his head, dark eyes catching light from /somewhere/ in a way that makes them almost sparkle. "Maybe we can run these Irish putamadres out of here if you tell us where to find 'em." Clearly flirty-teasing, inasmuch as a guy who knows he's just pretty enough to get away with it can. "Or maybe you just give us a deal?"

"None taken." Guivre says and his arms go up into a wide armed shrug as Flavien digs into his pocket and he lets out a helpless sort of laugh, "I love everyone, ya know how it is... borders divide." He shoots a look up at the drug dealer but blinks it off a few times and adds, "What say you we get a little blow too." Guy doesn't look like the sort of tough guy who is going to run anyone off but he does add, "My dad knows people." Good, solid, white boy line.
Karen pauses, studying the man's actions to see if he'll finally just... fuck off and let them be, for lack of better words. He appears to and a cute little smile forms on her lips now, waving bye bye to him as if she's just saying 'bye bye now!' in a sweet yet sarcastic tone, before she turns to finally start off and leave this dump of a front yard. "Let's go check out that house now." She says softly to Camilla after listening to her, dropping her smile. "Flavien found a dealer and he's going to talk with him and two girls, and I think Guy joined him. What exactly did the tinfoil hat guy give you?" She asks curiously while walking along to wherever Camilla leads her.
While Flavien and Guy are carrying out a drug deal, the wolf eventually does calm down and the poor bastard walking her manages to lead her back in the opposite direction, heading back down the road towards the central one. Aniya and Carli are quite enthusiastic about Flavien's offer, and have little hesitation about what they want: weed. After all, apparently Armando has the best weed around. Whatever's up with this guy, Guy can't get a read on him. "Ah, you two are looking for that sort of party. Armando provides," the Colombian says with a slow nod, before looking back into the mobile home and shouting something in Spanish at someone. Before long, another darker-skinned Hispanic man quickly brings a pair of discreet brown paper bags. But in the meantime. "These cowardly Irish bastards don't live around here. What foul cave they hide in when they're not poisoning the failed sons and daughters of their cousins, Armando does not know. But the white trash junkies seek them out, like piglets to their mother's dirty teat."
Camilla and Karen are able to clear the street and reach the central road, breaking line of sight before any of the neo-Nazis can find out what they did. To reach the house from the note they'd have to go south towards the entrance, and take the next road east: righthand on the road coming from the entrance. It's not too terribly far, at least.
Camilla leads the way... Back towards the entrance, and to the east as the man had mentioned. "I'm beginning to think he didn't give me much of anything." The Ventrue explains, "That last stop was just a hunch. An incorrect hunch... And this one is just covering bases. Either way, this should be plenty of time for them to be done with whatever it is they're doing with those two hot latinas, oui?" Is... She jealous?
She might be alittle jealous.
"Good that Guy is here at least. Luna not being here isn't such a big deal then. Do /you/ have any suspicions, amie?"

Flavien gives a sober nod to the information and spits to the side. "Fuck 'em," he says. Clapping a hand against Chuck-Guy's shoulder. "No offense, man." He watches the guy with the wolf walk, following them with an openly curious gaze, and shakes his head at the weird scene. "All right, Armando, my man. How much do we owe you?"

Guivre lingers there playing his part, "Fuck 'em." He agrees outloud but in his head Flavien hears, <<The wolf is a ghoul, probably the guy walking him too but I can't get a read on Armando here.>> Meanwhile, Guivre let's Flavien handle the drug deal, just nodding a few times and then asking absently, "Yo, you mean like a /real/ cave? That's whack."
Karen follows her to the entrance and then makes a turn towards the east. She doesn't seem to pick up on any jealousy from Camilla. She shrugs her shoulders casually to the question, "Not sure. I guess if I had to say any suspicions, maybe it's the girls. Who knows what they're really leading Guy and Flavien to." And that's true, they could be setting up these two to get robbed, or worse. Who knows. "Wonder if we should go see if they're okay."

As Camilla and Karen continue down the side road, for better or for worse there's nothing obviously sketchy down this one. The mobile home they're lead to from the note looks rather normal and decently clean, in spite of the crazy old man's assurances that something demonic was likely going on here. The lights are still on in the home but it's mostly quiet, save for faint voices and movement within. The rest of the street almost seems too quiet, given the chilly atmosphere of the night. Quiet enough that they can clearly hear something moving around. It sounds like something's moving quietly over metal, like a cat running across a roof, but it's hard to place exactly where and they can't make anything out. There is a foul stench to the north, however.
"Si, no offence my friend," Armando echoes with a nod to Chuck. "They're probably hiding out in a shack or filthy warehouse, but I wouldn't be surprised if those backwards sons of bitches lived in a real cave." He turns to Flavien and offers a reasonable price for such street drugs, since the ST lacks dots in streetwise irl. He looks at Guivre and gestures with his hand as he says, "I have little hope, but if you can track down these Irish bastards and chase them all out of town, I'll see that it snows this spring for you, my friend." When Flavien checks on the wolf, he can also see that it's got pale splotches in its aura, suggestive of a ghoul. Likewise for the walker, but he also seems anxious and depressed. Both of them are passing then and heading to the central street, likely to vanish soon from their line of sight.
The stench causes Camilla to turn her head up... Quietly sampling it with a grimace, before looking back towards Karen.
"I don't think this place is anything special." She begins, "The man was wearing a tinfoil hat... And absolutely thought Donal Trump was going to save the world or something." She lifts her cane, gesturing to the north with it. "We're looking for junkies... And I certainly think that I smell some that way." The sound of something moving hasn't escaped her notice. Her senses stay trained for it- just incase.
But it IS probably nothing.
"Shall we head there, instead of bothering these people?"

Flavien hands over the cash, with a little extra tip for Armando and the trouble he is almost certainly going to have coming his way in the next few days...or weeks. He peeks in each of the bags and hands one to the Filipina sisters, and then gestures to them. "You two head on back to the party. I gotta see this fuckin' wolf up close."
He walks with the two sisters and Chuckles back toward the main road, waits until Armando and friends are safely ensconced back in their mobile home, and then assesses the situation around them, looking for patches of shadow that he can walk through in order to sneak up close enough to get a better look. "I want to see what she knows. The wolf. Especially if she's a ghoul, I'll be able to communicate with her. All I have to do is make eye contact, and in low light, their vision's better than human vision."
Guivre holds back while still playing Flavien's shadow while the Ravnos explains what he's up to. Guivre gives a gentle shake of his head as he ultimately agrees, "I got your back, if the guy gets weird I can try to set him right." The Malkavian looks over his shoulder several times, finding a place to crouch down under some cover while Flavien moves in on the wolf to do his Dr. Doolittle routine.

Karen, unlike Camilla, doesn't quietly sample that stench at all. When she appears out in public, she always has her lungs working and attempts to look like she's... well, alive. She gets a whif of that scent and exclaims, "It smells like popcorn and ass here!" Her nose wrinkles and she turns her head as if she can escape it. She's lucky enough that she doesn't have to wretch. She doesn't seem to regard the sound of something moving. Probably a stray cat.
As Camilla and Karen are contemplating their next move, they each hear something different, coming from opposite directions. To the northeast, among the mobile homes in the vague direction she heard the previous sounds in, she hears what sounds like a gasp and then a thud. Perhaps even someone falling to the ground. It's distant, but her heightened hearing can pick it out even from here. Karen, meanwhile, picks out a sound from within the house. It sounds like a shriek from a very young child, perhaps four or five years old, coming from within.
Armando lets the two go with drugs and pleasantries, and the two chicas certainly are happy as well, and agree to meet the pair back at the party. Meanwhile, the two stealthy Kindred attempt to shadow the human and wolf pair of Ghouls as they walk back to the central road. The guy walking the wolf pauses in the middle of the street as Flavien and Guy take cover, glances back, and pauses for a moment. And then turns around in their direction and stares. He's a white guy with curly orange hair, wearing blue jeans and a hoodie. He looks towards the two trying to stalk him, and spreads his arms challengingly. "I can see you two. The fuck do you want?" And then he gets jerked back, the wolf trying to pulls its way back down the road. Apparently it hasn't noticed a thing, and is just trying to happily pull its walker along with no care for what the man wants himself. The guy tries to keep him in place, pulling back as he's slowly pulled forward.
At the sound of the thud, Camilla immediately begins to move... She does so quietly. Attempting to sneak through the gaps between houses in search of the sound... She gestures for Karen to fllow as she does, but doesn't breathe a word otherwise.
She makes her way towards the sound of the gasp- and the thud. It could be nothing... Or it could, in fact, be something.
Well, sometimes you do the stealth, sometimes the stealth does you. Flavien straightens up with a goofy grin. "Sorry man, I just uh, I had to see your ... is it a wolf? Like a for real wolf? Up close. That's super fucking cool. I'm Zhang, this is Chuck." He holds out the bag of drugs indicatively. "You party?"
Then he lets out a piercing whistle of exactly the sort one would use to call a dog. Kind of abrupt, but you know. Phweet-weet-weet! Hey puppy! Hoping to get Jill's attention so he can catch her eye.
Guivre upnods to the stranger and then points amusedly at Flavien, "He's a fuckin' dog person.." A shrug from the all white wearing 'Chuck' moves a few steps closer to the man casually, "You train that thing yourself?"
Karen's eyes widen when she hears the child crying inside. Not sure what's going on inside, and unable to hear the thud due to the child crying, Karen starts to walk towards the sound of the child crying, as if she can somehow find another way in and try to get the kid to be quiet. She turns her head to see Camilla gesturing her to follow, but Karen points towards the sound of the crying child. She then pauses when she hears from a distance in the park, the sound of someone whistling. Who knows who that could be, or for what. Just a random, echoing whistle.
Camilla purses her lips. She looks towards the house, and shakes her head rather fervently. She points at her ears, then points down where she's headed.
Apparently, she thinks that's more important.
She doesn't wait for Karen however, as she continues on her way towards what she had heard.

Fortunately, the dude seems to calm down as he manages to get his footing well enough to get Jill to stop pulling him, even as the wolf continues to try to paw forward. "Uh," he begins, glancing between the wolf and the pair. "W-wolfdog, yeah. She's a wolfdog, not a real wolf. Just, uh, she's got a lot of wolf in her." He nods as if trying to convince himself even. "I'm Ted, she's Jill. Sup?" The whistle gets Jill's attention, and she quickly stops resisting and turns around in curiousity and surprise, tilting her head. Ted almost trips forward at the sudden lack of resistance. However, once he recovers, the offer of drugs gets his attention as much as the whistle got Jill's. "Uh, fuck yeah I like to party." Looks like Flavien found someone's vice.
As Camilla moves onward, the smell certainly gets worse, although it doesn't seem to be from a specific source. The area around here just smells like shit in general. A lot of the mobile homes north of her seem to be very poorly maintained. Still, she searches between the two lines of houses between streets as she searches for the source of the mysterious sound.
Karen, meanwhile, finds that the shriek came from inside the house they were going to go into. She can see lights on from the windows, but the door's locked and none of the windows are visibly open. One might be unlocked, however, and there's always the back door. She can hear the faint sound of crying from within still.

Flavien nods again. He taps Guivre to get his attention and his hands briefly move in a fast, complex series of movements as he speaks to his companion in ASL. "Jill," he says with a laugh, catching the wolf? Dog? Wolfdog's? eye. Sending a vague, nonthreatening impression toward her: He's a friend, just trying to figure out what's going on around here that's making her friend Ted here and others like him sick all of a sudden. Does she know where it's coming from? Flavien says something in a foreign language.
Camilla is certainly offput by the scent... It's unfamiliar to her, and the heightening of her senses certainly isn't helping make it any less offensive. But it's her ears and eyes that she's relying on now... Seeking out any followup sounds or, perhaps, a figure that may be attempting to flee from a scene.
It's times like this that her time in unseemly company begins to show... Because she shows a degree of trained expertise in the act of stalking. Her hand is on the grip of her cane, ready to draw bare the blade at a moment's notice if she must.
While talking to a known Ghoul Guivre makes sure to do all things: his skin warms, his blinking comes more naturally and he even lets out a real sounding sneeze that end up buried in the cook of his elbow. "Nah, I'm allergic to everything... I'll stay my ass back here." He isn't talking like himself, it is worth noting.. and the creole accent he usually uses has been replaced by an all American California surfer's drawl. "Take whatever you want man, I bought a bitcoin in 2008 with dad's money... spare no expense on the good shit. Retired at twenty four." Guivre makes small talk with the Ghoul to give Flavien time to do his Doolittle thing, schmoosing him and wondering, "You know were we can get a steady supplier? Armando doesn't sell smack does he? I heard that's where the money is.. big picture money. Ya know what I mean?" He whispers to the Ghoul with a playful loft of his brows, "Millions."

Karen looks to Camilla, then back towards the sound, then back towards Camilla but she's not there anymore, then back towards the sound. She reasons this in her head; they're here anyway, and they were going to try to investigate this trailer. She tries the door quietly. Damn. Locked. She decides to go look for the back door and see if she can enter that way. If she could, she's as quiet as she could be as she enters and tries to go towards the sound of the child.
Unfortuantely, even as Camilla searches house to house, she doesn't find anything outside that seems like it could be the source of the sound she makes. She does spot several people gathered on the opposite road to the north, seeming to just hang around doing whatever, but they're probably too far away to have made that sound. At least she seems completely unseen and unheard, as far as she can tell.
'Haaaai! I'm Jill!' Flavien picks up from the wolf. 'I dunno, everyone just got real sick. I don't feel so good, but it's okay because I'm pretty good. Jack makes me feel really good. I like him'. Jill moves foward with Ted, who seems pretty interested in the drugs. He definitely seems like he could be the junkie type. "Oh really? Fuck, dude. I wish I'd invested in bitcoin back then. I lost, like, most of my money trying to invest in dogecoin. It was nothing like bitcoin, man. Those fuckers lie." He chuckles at the mention of Armando. "Nah, man. That's these Irish dudes. They have all kinds of crazy shit. Like, I have no idea what they put in it, and I've had all sorts of shit, but it's really fucking something else, man. They have someone come by now and then to sell stuff. It's been a bummer since the cops have been hanging around. It's like, we have to walk a few blocks down to get the shit these days. Fucking pigs." He shrugs. "But uh, I dunno about selling, man. They're fucking up the competition. Just ask Armando."
Karen finds that the back door is locked, but she does find one of the bedroom windows cracked. The lights are off, and she could probably open it further and sneak in. Nobody appears to be in that bedroom at the moment, but there is a light coming in from the hallway. She can still hear the kid shrieking.

Flavien scoots closer to Jill, holding out his hand for her to sniff and then reaching to see if she'll allow him to scratch behind her ears. What a good girl Jill is! He projects this to her, and wonders silently, /Who's Jack?/ and wondering if she can send him a picture. Maybe they can make sure that Jack isn't going to get sick too, because it would be bad if Jack got sick, right? He doesn't break eye contact with Jill, but adds in an aside to Ted, "Lead the way, man, you got a place? We're happy to share."
When she fails to find anything, Camilla chooses to start looking for something else... She definitely heard a thud of some sort, and so if she can find anything laying around? That would be a start. Her eyes rest on the people across the street. Trying to remain concealed as she attempts to glean whether they're targets of interest, or a waste of time.

Guivre cuts a look to the Ghoul and the Malkavian's bright big blue eyes flash playfully as he makes eye contact and just asks, "I want to see what those Irish men look like, did you visit their place?" He leans in a little, tilting his head toward the ghoul as he popped open the bag of drugs so that he could tip the contents toward him, "You wanna a bump? We got some of Armando's coke in the bag-" Keeping the eye contact of a salesman as he dipped into the Ghoul's memories.
Karen sees the window open a jar, wondering about sneaking in there and finding out what's up. Then, what if she's caught? What then? She could try to dominate, change memories. That might take time. She gets an idea, instead, and wanders back around towards the front of the trailer. If she happens to pass by Camilla, she's going to stop what she's doing and try to talk to her quietly. If not, she's just going to go ahead and try and knock on the door. Knock-Knock-Knock-Knock-Knock!

'Jack's my best friend!' Flavien hears in response from the wolf. 'Oh, Jack already got real sick. I got real sad. Then I got real sick too! But that's okay, because Jack's happy! The sick made him more like me! We have lots of fun!' No mental image is sent, however. Ted replies with, "Uhhh..." He hesitates for awhile, taking a quick glance back, and then at the others. "Yeah, I probably have a place. Totally, due. And hell yeah." He looks at Guivre. "That's really dope. The, uh, Irish dudes are over at this place a couple blocks away, you know?"
Guivre pulls some quite vivid memories from the Ghoul. Walking over during the day with a few other guys to a warehouse nearby. There are a couple of very Irish looking guys, clearly the muscle. Their names are Pat and Patty. The actual dealer, surprisingly enough, doesn't seem Irish. He seems kinda stoned himself, almost. But at further observation he seems like he probably just seems that way normally. His name is Chet, and he looks and sounds more like a stoned California surfer than an Irishman, unlike the others. Pat and Patty, however, are pretty clearly Irish mob. Chet is selling various things, including heroin and coke. By other things linked to the memory, they definitely seem far more... potent than normal drugs as well."
Camilla, meanwhile, can't make terribly much out of the auras of those people at this distance, but they're definitely not pale enough to be Kindred. There's also no signs of them being ghouls either. If there's any signs of anything supernatural within said aura, she can't tell by the shade.
Karen, meanwhile certainly can't see where the other Ventrue is, Camilla proving to be a master of stealth. There's several seconds of silence from the house, before a woman's voice calls out, "Just a minute." Not too long later, a very tired and exhausted looking Native woman opens the door, appearing to be in her late twenties. Her clothing seems to have been splashed with water. In the background she can see a young girl running around, perhaps five or six, covered in a towel. The woman looks down at Karen a hint of confusion. It is after midnight, after all. And a stranger is knocking on her door. At least Karen isn't exactly the shady-seeming sort. "Yes? Can I help you?" she asks, sounding exhausted.
The Ventrue turns away from the sights across the road... Moving back into the spaces between the houses, continuing to do her best to keep herself quiet. She's not quite satisfied that there's nothing here just yet, but she also doesn't intend to be wasting much more time here. She moves along the minimal space between the rows of trailers, casting her gaze right and left with each gap. If she finds nothing? Then she'll make her way back to Karen to see what's going on.
'Is Jack like you?' Flavien wonders silently, projecting an image of a wolf. Dog. Dogwolfwolfdog. 'Or like me?' Person-shaped. 'Is there somebody special who lets you drink red stuff that makes you feel strong?' He continues to scratch behind Jill's ears, sending Ted a disarming smile. "I got some connections, you know. I'm a bike messenger. Maybe I could hook you up with something sometime. Depends on what you like. Seems like the stuff these Irish guys are bringing in is pretty strong, from what Armando said. Maybe not the purest, though. You look a little rough, dude. I got people that do it all organic. No Fentanyl, not cut with Drain-o, nothing. Chinatown, you know? I'm not a dealer myself, but I can make the hookup if there's enough interest and money in it."

Guivre nods a few times, pleased with the info he's gleaned just with a smile and look as Flavien mentions that he's a bike messenger, "We've got connections, maan, we could start our own fuckin' enterprise for the right dealer. I think we should meet up with these Irish cats." He smiles easily and upnods to Flavien, sending him another unspoken message with Telepathy, 'I got the names, I think I've got a location.. it sound like we need to pay a visit to Pat and Patty tomorrie.' The Irish accent Guivre mentally affixes on the word Tomorrie is brutal- at best.
When the woman answers the door, Karen's face just... drops. She looks... forlorn. Probably because she thought something grim at first but it seems like just a kid playing and she disturbed a probably stressed out Mother from having to deal with the kid. "I..." She doesn't know what to say at first, turning her eyes to the Mother and commenting, "I'm sorry. I just heard a child crying and I thought... something might be wrong. I didn't mean to disturb you." She backs away, "I'll be going now..."
As Camilla's searching around, she comes across a cigarette on the ground of what passes as a back porch. Curiously, it's still lit, as if someone were just smoking it and just dropped it without putting it out. However, there's nobody around that she can see that might have dropped it. At least not at first. She catches something out of the corner of her eye, and turns around just in time to see a mostly limp body hit the ground. The impact didn't sound hard enough for the brunette to have fallen more than a couple of feet, however, and the roof certainly is higher than that. She thinks she catches a glimpse of a narrow shadow running up the building towards the roof, but she can't get a good look at it as quickly as it departs from the corner of her vision, and she certainly can't see whatever it may or may not have been attached to. There's simply silence afterwards, aside from the faint sound of breathing from the woman now before her. The woman is alive, but she's pale... Very pale. If Camilla checks, she'll find that she has a pulse, but it's faint, and she can feel the heat of her flesh partially fading... It seems that this woman just lost a good amount of her blood. Enough that she probably won't fully regain consciousness for a minute or two. Maybe much longer. Aside from a little bruising she doesn't seem to be very injured... Camilla has a very good explanation for her state: She might have just been fed upon, heavily. Perhaps just barely not enough that she /needs/ a hospital, if she's lucky, but enough that she certainly qualifies for one. What she doesn't have an explanation for, however, is how this woman just fell out of mid air and landed so softly so closely behind her. Nor what that thing she saw was.
The Native mother that Karen disturbed looks like she's contemplating whether she should be angry or not. Fortunately, the young Ventrue's demeanor makes her seem well-meaning and innocent enough it seems that she lands on the side of 'too tired to care'. The lady nods with a sigh. "It's... alright," she says, starting to close the door to go back to her kid before pausing to offer a warning as she looks back at Karen. "You... really shouldn't wander around here alone. Especially not this late. This really isn't a safe neighborhood. And it's been... weird around here lately."
"Fuck, man. I dunno. The Irish dudes seem pretty brutal... Apparently they ran out the Mexican Cartel. But, uh..." He pauses in uncertainty, before shrugging. "I dunno. I have some friends who might think it's a good idea, you know? I'll ask them and maybe we can all band together and make some shit happen, yeah?" Ted offers to Guivre, before looking to Flavien with interest and nodding. "Chinatown? Fuck, man. I've heard there's some real crazy shit from there. Hell yeah, mean. Uh- Don't worry about me, dude. Just caught some shit from, uh... 'Dirty needles', yeah. Yeah that shit. Just, stupid slip up, you know? It's hard to remember who used what when you're high, yeah?"
Jill happily replies to Flavien. 'Yeah! Jack's like me! Sometimes Jack's really like me! He's like you most of the time! But now he's like both of us! He looks like me, but he walks around like you, but really really big! He bit someone in half and has real big claws! He's the best!' She happily pants as she speaks mentally. 'Yeah, he feeds me his red stuff. It's his blood. It makes me feel real big and strong. He's my best friend!'
