Introduction
1. Though I command languages both human and angelic -- if I speak without love, I am no more than a gong booming or a cymbal clashing.

2. And though I have the power of prophecy, to penetrate all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all the faith necessary to move mountains -- if I am without love, I am nothing.

3. Though I should give away to the poor all that I possess, and even give up my body to be burned -- if I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.

4. Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited,

5. It is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offence or store up grievances.

6. Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth.

7. It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

8. Love never comes to an end. But if there are prophecies, they will be done away with; if tongues, they will fall silent; and if knowledge, it will be done away with.

9. For we know only imperfectly, and we prophesy imperfectly;

10. But once perfection comes, all imperfect things will be done away with.

11. When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and see things as a child does, and think like a child; but now that I have become an adult, I have finished with all childish ways.

12. Now we see only reflections in a mirror, mere riddles, but then we shall be seeing face to face. Now I can know only imperfectly; but then I shall know just as fully as I am myself known.

13. As it is, these remain: faith, hope and love, the three of them; and the greatest of them is love.

Stereotypes
Magicians: We tried that and it was thousands of years of misery and horror. Cut the losses; pushing snake bile to cure AIDS is probably killing more people per annum than bloodletting did in total.

Haemophages: How are these still existing? Doesn't the sun rise every goddamned day?

Shapeshifters: People like PETA way more than ALF, tearing their guts out won't change that in your favor.

Sinn Fein: The resurgence of their directly violent activity in the US is troubling but really more of a past issue.

Ghosts: The echoes of the past are really felt every day, especially considering how current trends in music and culture relate almost directly towards the emergence of German Expressionist cinema. Consider that Metropolitan, directed by Fritz Lang - nine letter, by the way, which means one hand (five fingers) directing death (4 per Chinese superstition) - directly caused the collapse of the Gilded age. Really. Look it up; the mask of the mechanical liberator directly relates to the common death mask used to identify bodies.

Akashic Brotherhood Alphabetically speaking, it's unfair to saddle them with all the sins of the traditionalists. But how do you go so far afield from helpful practices to bullshit?
Celestial Chorus What a complete perversion of God's reason and purpose.
Dreamspeakers The tragedy of history is that genocide hits urban centers. Roaches and shamans will last through everything, though.
Euthanatos I guess the second Era of Good Feelings post-WWII should've lasted a little longer to finally get rid of these death cultists.
Hollow Ones What a bunch of nerdlingers.
Order of Hermes It's unfortunate that the most empirical out of this odd-lot of fuckups is almost the most dedicated to waving sticks around and conjuring demons.
Sons of Ether Poor little sweetheart, science was just so hard you had to glue cogs on your hat to get over flunking Chemistry.
Verbena Eugenics doesn't become more palatable because you wrap it around paganism.
Virtual Adepts What a bunch of dillweeds.

Contacts
->Sae: You know, I'd take the 'by the book rookie' role if it meant an ideological shift here.

->Aerie: Let's say we trained a cat to pull a lever. And then another cat to push the lever back up. And then kept going until cats were running the Hoover Dam.

->Richard Cromwell: Coaches and drill instructors are good leadership for kids, administrators are better for grownups.

->Adelphi: It looks good on her but peacoats in California are like woad in a revival tent.

->Amalia: I still think that mystery cults are as important to academics as the class time.

->Vance: That's the most marine I've seen in one place that wasn't a bail bondsman's office or a reform school parking lot.

->Cameron: If he drove any worse I'd think it was part of some fetish.

->Gamble: Ought to go and get his shine box.

->Eden Huxley: Can't sing for shit.

->Aldebaran: Technically 'sifu.' In practicality, not what we'd call field ready.

<->Martha: In 1384, Jacques de Molay was burned at the stake. 475 years later, France was a howling wasteland of blood and terror. A good grudge takes time to simmer.

<->Daisy: Eat the rich. Jealous/not jealous.

<->Goro: Both pinkies but only one eyeball seems to say 'clumsy' rather than 'stupid.'

<->Mr Pulse: The best kind of libertarian is at least 'help the poor for bigger markets' and not 'help the rich in case I become one.' Still ought to get involved in politics instead of Ayn Rand cosplay conventions.

<->Constance: Nuns going around dressed normally is about as unfair as those cop cars with the hidden flasher lights on the interstates.

<-Merek: That's the sound of potential hurling onto the kitchen floor and circling a Seal of Solomon shaped drain.

RP Hooks
Agents: Lin is Ms. NWO, perfect for all the security concious, social forecasting needs if you don't mind the slight condescension and major smug that goes with it.

Deviants: There's distinct value in being obvious. All those stories from the Bad Old Days and the stereotypes about the Technocracy are right there in the flesh. But if you want to reach out, there she is.

Cop: Sometimes there is a cop around when you need one. Lin has some facility to being in the right place at the right time.

Rat Squad: ..which doesn't necessarily bode well for other cops. As an Internal Affairs agent, she's on that narrow line between another sister in blue and someone that is going to destroy your entire career.
