NOTE: This Story takes place over a couple of days, where Harvey goes on a mission to locate, lure out and assassinate a Human Trafficer called "El Sapo" whom, to his knowledge, has been reported as being a Fomori. Patience and resilience gives way to death and chaos in true Ratkin manner.

Poking around you get the feeling that El Sapo is not a local so most people have no idea who you're asking about. A nervous long shoreman has heard of the boat and knows there is a man hanging out waiting for word on the bounty thats been spread around Prospect.

It was a long shot, asking about El Sapo. So, instead, Harvey started to ask about the boat instead. The Bounty, though? Thats new. Thats not something he heard talk about from his contact. The longshoreman though, he would come to wish he had stayed home this night. The Ratkin wanted answers. He would stop at nothing to find out where El Sapo was.

The poor longshoreman. He really had no chance. Just another blip in the statistics. Another mugging gone wrong. Harvey does not hold back, once he realises he can't get the answers he needs from him. Humans? They mean little to him. There are so many of them anyhow. He ends the mans life quickly. Plenty of rats around. Food for his family. He takes his valuables and goes on to prepare for Plan B. Time to pretend there is competition. If he can not go to the boat, have someone from the boat go to him. Hell, he might get lucky!

NOTE: Over the course of a few days, Harvey spreads rumours on the streets that a new crew is looking to muscle in on the human trafficing territories of west coast US. Once rumours are spread, Harvey goes on a breaking and entering tour of several hardware stores, stealing seemingly harmless chemicals, as he prepares a fiery trap for anyone that might come for his 'new crew'.

The skuttlebut spreads and in a few days, in the edges of the horizon the "Lilypad" (aka the Nenufer) can been seen. Nothing special to ayone but those in the know but for a son of Rat vibrating at the edge of Rapture it's treasure! The yacht stays out of view until nightfall when a crew arrives.
It's four armed men, one pays off of a guy at the harbor who points in the direction of the tagged building. No sign of El Sapo just four thugs with mp 5s. "Are you sure they have the girls?" one of the men says. "Boss thinks so. Why else all the rumbling just after the bounty? Either way it's going to be a bad fucking day for these bastards.". No one else on the waterfront but the thugs and some harbor rats..certainly no reason for the men to be concerned.

It is all set, then. They are here. Men with firearms, from the sea. He can't see the name of the boat, but its a boat alright! This could be it. He gets out of the building after setting the fuses. These four men will die regardless. So what if its not the Fomori. Fire is fire, no matter what. He takes to rat. He sniffs the air. The rat hits the ground and skitters across the ground. His target is the boat that brought the four men. He's going to be on that boat. There are two ways this can go. The building goes up and they all die, in which case he drives out to the yacht himself. Second? Someone survives, gets to the boat and drives out there with him hiding on it. So, he starts off hiding. Thats the best way to start. Hide!

The men seem like mercenaries from their approach. They case the warehouse, inspecting the perimeter but they miss the expert handiwork the rat laid out seem to believe the coast is clear and press into the warehouse. They enter and start to poke around. No one pays any attention to the rat that probably don't even see.

Patchy Black Rat is not only curious. He wants to see the flames. So, once he reaches the speedboat, he stops before reaching it and turns around. Watches the warehouse. He is a good Chemist, really. A very good chemist, in fact, for someone who is self taught. He used plenty of things that would create enough force to knock down pillars, but added enough agent to create a LOT of flame! It should prove to be quite a spectacle. He had to raid a lot of closed hardware stores to get what he wanted.

Pretty.. flames. So pretty. A few moments staring at them, the rat then turns and leaps into the speedboat. He takes human once more, gets the boat in motion and aims it for where it came from. There is a bigger boat out there. He revs the engine. He needs to get close enough. Just close enough. Will they be dumb?
Its a bit of a weird plan, really. Get close enough, power down to half speed and aim the boat at the larger one. Take rat. Hide. Hope they want to collect their speedboat.

Oh, the bloody key. Naturally. Well, thats not a real issue. Harvey reaches in under the controlpanel and yanks out some cables. So many colours, but he only needs two. Rip, twist and .. vroom. Engine start!

You are able to drive off with no one noticing as emergency services starting to arrive for your handiwork. The Nenufar awaits.

Plan is very easy. He cuts his own palm and smears some blood on the steeringwheel, then on the edge of the boat. He then looks to the horizon. He needs to get just close enough so he can power down; he does not want the speedboat to ram the larger one full force and sink! Once this is done, he once more takes ratform and hides in a compartment. Boats like these always have compartments.
The boat sputters and lists along the portside of teh Nenufar under then gentle touch of the Ratkin Engineer. Voices ring out, some ponting at the smouldering fireball near a knot away, some at the seemingly abandoned boat. A pair of armed guards descend to check it out, confused at the lack of presence on the away boat.

Black, evil (yes, evil!) little eyes peer at nothing where the rat hides in the compartment of the speedboat. He can hear them. Smell them. Not see them, though! He's hiding! And if there is one thing Ratkin are good at, it is hiding.
Are they taking the bait! Stupid humans. They deserve to be culled. However, they are not the target. The fomori is. It will be a very nice surprise for this fomori.

You can feel the boat being hoisted as they return it topside. The men are speaking in nervous hushed Greek. No one seems aware of your presence at all.

He remains still, silent and unmoving. Little ears perked, listening to what goes on around him. The boat being hoisted up means they took the bait. He waits then for it to be secured and voices and feet retreating a bit before he slowly begins to emerge from the hideout. He needs to find an air vent or something to get into. He needs to map out the ship, find the kitchen. Find the cleaning closet with all the chemicals. Plans are made.

The ship is a temple to El Sapo's greed and excess. Staff and guards of which there are around twenty five personal, fifteen armed guards, ten staff. The C deck has been refitted to be a holding vault for the wares El Sapo collects and trades. Strangly while the yacht is immaculate there is a lone spider web in the highest corner of that vault.
El Sapo is in a guared, secure cabin. Still no barrier to a rat. What you see if a common breed of Fomori, all the physical characteristics of a Toad. Short, squat with an inhuman tongue with a mind of it's own. Covered in warts and pustules. With your knowledge of the Wyrm it's nature is clear.

All this CLEAN! It's maddening...or is that the throbbing..humming RATKIN NATURE inside? Who knows but you find the layout dizzying eventually settling on what you believe to be the best place to set out the bomb for which you have collected all the ingredients you need before you add the secret touch of FUCKING RAGE to the supernatural explosion.
The crew is on edge and El Sapo spends his time ranting about the missing crew you blew up and demanding a new plan. Some of his people are making calls trying to figure where the intel went sour, most are just trying to stay out of their bosses line of fire. Eventually things die down and except for security people go to sleep.

It's tricky. Not only is the boat really sketchy. He has to do his chemistry in the closets. He don't want to be seen. Mixing and hoping he gets the right doses and adding some timers he got from the kitchen. Well, its not easy work! And so, he does not do a great job. It should prove to make a big flame, though. Thats something, at least. In the end, though, its a diversion. Once he sets the timer, he will have a short time to get to the room, take out the toad, then hide again. But it has to be done. It will work! Its a Ratkin plan. All Ratkin plans are great plans.

And, timer? What was this silly talk about a timer. The Ratkin did not put a timer on that bomb. No, what he did was that he found this keychain in a closet. With carkeys. And a blip blip'er. Someone has a car parked somewhere! Perfect trigger, though. Remote trigger. Rigging that with a reciever? No problems. Hauling the thing as a rat into the vents? No trouble either.
Off to the safe room he goes. And there he is, the toady. The fomori. Soon to be dead. Stealth is everything, but getting to the floor silently? That will require a bit of a feat. But he does it. Clearing the vent, he tries to make a silent landing.

Landing on the floor, the rat takes a deep breath. Concentrates. He begins to grow, morphing. Not quite human, not quite rat. Something .. bigger. More evil. The ratkin warform, so very seldom used by the Engineer. For this, though? Its a good form. The shotgun is in his hand; dedicated item by way of Rite of Artifice. A sawed off shotgun. 6 shots. Should be enough. He aims the muzzle at the creatures temple.
What is that in his mind that screams about the strange spiderwebbing?
That thought is drowned out, though. Fire. Flames. Dead fomori. Cull the humans. He pulls the trigger...

Its a toads skull. Should have figured it would block some of the blast. He presses the blipper. The remote is triggered. As the first shotgun blast rings out, the bomb goes off. The explosion rocks the ship, fire licks the hallways...
Harvey lets out a loud shrieking sound. He's happy. He pulls the trigger again...

The first shot shakes the Toad awake shearing off flesh and bone with the fragmenting shot. The fomori blinks and shifts like he's sitting up but doesn't manage to do more before the second shot renders him into a crimson and swamp green smear.

The large ratkin warform lifts his head up and lets out another shrieking sound. He can smell the flames and the chemicals from the explosion. He can smell the blood. But he has one more mission. Take out the boat. He puts the shotgun over his shoulder in its strap, then reaches for the edge of the vent with his large front claws. He then shifts into rodens, dragging himself up as he goes to get into the vents. He needs to get to the bridge. Time to beach a boat.

You follow the scent markers and scratches you left to guide your way around the vents. The shotgun drew some attention and you see some people running to El Sapo's cabin as you pass them overhead. Many more are scrambling to battle the fiery gift you left. Two pilots nervously chatter to each other in the wheelhouse.

He moves quickly, easily, through the vents. The Ratkin are built for small spaces. Gaias natural assassins, powered by the Wyld. Only the fabled Nagah would come close. Reaching the bridge, the rat assesses the situation. There, a camera. He stares up at it, then focuses. Its his. The spirit within obeys his command and slowly it goes out of focus. All anyone sees is a blur. He then waits until neither pilot looks his way. He gets out of the vent, takes his human form. Shotgun in hands. He aims it at them and then hisses out, "Scream, move or speak and you die. Horribly." he hisses out. He looks evil. Sickly. Deadly. He's not a charmer at all.

They dare move at him! They are testing his resolve! With the two pilots deciding he can be attacked, Harvey swings the shotgun down a bit with the aim to blow one of the guys balls off. He lowers it too much though, and all he does is scratch one of the mens thighs.

The shot isn't enough to stop the guys now that their adreline kicks in but it is enough to unbalance one who stumbles in the way of the other making their advance moot.

Enough. He can hear the screams in his head. END THEM! Its shrieking at him. Its almost too much. He takes Warform again, almost without thinking about it. The shift gets his shotgun free, sends the men reeling. The rest is easy. Two shots ends the men, turning their heads into minced meat and broken skull pieces. He does not bother shifting for what he does next. The wheel. Speed. Full speed ahead. Turn the wheel, head east. To land. Land is east. Logical. They are on the west coast. He then snaps the gas-lever, demolishes it even. Jams it in there. He turns and shifts again, taking rodens. Hides. If they come, they die. If not? Well, if they are smart they abandon ship.

Several people try to stop the madness you set forth and several people die. Perhaps you just don't notice how close land is? Perhaps you wanted to watch the crash up close but either you jump just too late and are caught in part of the impact. But even that is inconveinant to the children of Rat.
The chaos is thunderous, damage catastrophic. Fire, smoke and screams rise from the harbor. Soot, blood and oil seep into the sea.

He ran out of ammo towards the end. The last ones died from his bite and claws. So much blood. Revelling in the power of it, the chaos of it. In the end, he almost lost himself. And that is when he sees it. Land. He barely has time to take rat form before the ship barrels into the dock. He rolls across the deck and bonces off into the water, left to limp-swim to shore. But in the end, he did it. He lived and chaos was born on this day. He would remain behind for a few hours, sitting at a safe distance, watching the flames and the chaos. Whiskers twitching with delight.
