Spirit Heritage | Neil is 'related' to Weaver spirits (machine/manmade object spirits, urban elementals, AI, etc.). He smells of them to anyone with heightened senses (hence the rite name), and in the umbra, the faint metallic green pattern of circuit boards can be seen under the skin of his arms. |

Stereotypes
Like bees. If they don't bother me, I don't bother them.
You can't save everyone.
Their tech might be in the wrong hands. But look at what they've done. It's pretty incredible.
What the hell? You're beautiful...
He speaks in my head through a hundred million chittering voices.
You can't save everyone.
Hooks
- Engineer: He likes to build machines, upgrade technology, and modify and tinker with whatever components he can get his hands on. He's new in town, but his name and number are publicly available in the Gaian sphere.
- Mages: Unlike most rat kinfolk, Neil wasn't a societal dropout. He was actually on the fast track to success as an engineer, and some people noticed. A candidate for Enlightenment, before that damned Birthing Plague infected him.
- Sire: He's searching, if not very thoroughly, for the Ratkin that bit him. He has the suspicion that he was never intended to survive the infection. But Rat apparently had different plans than his 'sire' did.
- Coward: He's always been cowardly, and Rat's mandate to survive hasn't helped this mentality much. He won't put himself into dangerous situations or risk himself for the 'greater good' in any way, if he can at all help it.
- Rat Plague: Like all of his kind, he's a disease carrier. Sickness doesn't affect him, but he can spread every cold bug and flu virus that he comes in contact with. Anyone with a mortal-level immune system might come down with something if around him, including kinfolk.
