Quiet Evening Chat About Doom
A small discussion about Six's medicine and her thoughts on approaching doom.

6/4/2022 21:49:00 So evening has fallen in the caern and up in one of the evergreens hangs what looks like a big egg. It's been fashioned out of many different materials from vines and bamboo all the way to woven together plastic bags. The egg sort of glows with a light from inside of it, it looks like a little hanging pod big enough for a small person to fit inside. Reno has just climbed the tree, thanks to a rope and harness contraption and he is sitting on a branch the egg is hanging from. Six however is crawling upon the tree's trunk much like one would see a spider or a lizard climb. A human does not usually do such things. She's tied her long skirt up like harem pants so she doesn't flash everyone.

6/4/2022 21:45:42 Six chuckles a bit but she looks up to where the rope is secured and she says "You better not have hurt my tree..."She grins and looks over his harness. "How long you been working on that one hmmm?" She giggles a bit but shrugs before she loves to lizard climb further up her tree to where he fashioned the rope to look over the tree to make sure it's okay!

6/4/2022 21:49:56 Back behind the village is where the Stargazers are. At this point, it's not hard to see two people up in a tree. Reno is sitting on a limb that has a homemade suspended egg hammock thing. The tree is fine, bark hasn't been damaged. Rope probably abraded more. "Didn't take me long. Just a simple lasso."

6/4/2022 21:55:55 Jackie wanders into the clearing, hands in her pockets and humming softly. She drifts to a stop as she becomes aware of the activity in the trees and looks up. Her eyes dart from Reno to Six a couple of times, and a look of concern goes across her face.

6/4/2022 21:59:47 Six continues to crawl around the tree, turning upside down but still crawling just the same, up and down with ease, it may be a little creepy but it seems natural to her. She hugs the branch that has the rope from Reno and says "He didn't hurt you precious." She then peeks at Reno and laughs a little because she's hugging a branch like a crazy person but it's only for a laugh. She crawls back down to where he is, on the branch by her egg and she perches on it, knees bent and bare feet on the branch and hands before her holding on as well. "A lasso for Cowboy. Seems to fit." Her crsytal blue eyes catch movement on the ground though and her gaze darts over to take in Jackie. She nudges Reno a bit and nods towards Jackie before she starts to crawl down the tree, once more upside down, head down towards the ground, butt up towards the top of the tree as she crawls. "Yo." she greets Jackie as she does so.

6/4/2022 22:03:07 Reno chuckles at Six. "You love it." He coos at her. He looks down too. Oh, "It's Miss Jackie." He gets himself in the harness and begins to lower himself back down. Once at the bottom, he unlimbers dro. the rope and adjusts his hat, a little back on his head. He dusts his hands off and gestures for Six to come along, "Yeah Miss Jackie!" He tips his hat to her.

6/4/2022 22:06:01 Jackie pulls her hands from her jacket pockets and waves, still looking a little uncomfortable. "Oh, hey, you two. Sorry, I didn't think anyone was over this way, I didn't meant to interrupt... Uh, whatever that is?"

6/4/2022 22:09:38 Six moves to fully climb down, hands meeting the ground and she crawls along it till her feet touch too. With her dark hair it's like the chick from the Ring! Seven dayyyssss, anyways... She rights herself and then looks to Reno and then back to Jackie. "He just got here. I was up in my egg. I like it up there, makes me feel like even if i'm in prison I still have some place of my own." But then she sticks her tongue out at Reno and says "Until some Cowboy invades my territory! " she smirks though, clearly teasing. " But yeah, no skit to interrupt. So, what's up? "

6/4/2022 22:11:36 Reno nods a bit, "Play hard to get, I play harder." He gestures between the ladies, "Miss Jackie of the Fenrir, Six of the Stargazers."

6/4/2022 22:13:37 Jackie nods, putting her hands back in her pockets. "We've met, actually. I gave her a ride last week. But nothing's really up, for me. I was just kind of exploring a little, I haven't been over this way yet. I didn't think it was a prison, though..."

6/4/2022 22:19:14 Six waves, the palms of her hands looking like that of a lizard's feet but realizing it's still there she focuses a moment to let it fade away. She nods to Jackie but then looks at Reno and says "Yeah, She was at that fight. " She then looks to Jackie and says "It wouldn't be for you. You can come and go as you please. Ive been ordered to stay."

6/4/2022 22:25:02 Reno takes a deep breath, "Six has someone after here. She's been ordered to stay here in the caern till it's dealt with." He shrugs a little helplessly, "That could be a while."

6/4/2022 22:29:09 Jackie rocks back and forth on her feet in a fidgety way. "Oh, right, I heard about some of that. I didn't mean to pry though, sorry. Sounds like it's been a really rough time. Still, as far as prisons go... You could find worse ones, I'm sure."

6/4/2022 22:52:17 Reno watches Six muttering about a cage is a cage and wandering back to her tree. Reno sighs a bit, a pained look on his face. "It's like watching a wild animal in captivity." He looks back to Jackie, "Come cop a squat if you want. She'll come back in a few minutes."

6/4/2022 22:54:15 Jackie shifts to lean up against a tree, glancing in Six's direction then back to Reno. "Is she... feeling alright? After what I heard, I wasn't sure..."

6/4/2022 22:57:25 Reno cops a squat on the duffle bag. "So far, she's okay." He looks over in her direction. "She is strong and will get through it, just make not like the path to get there."

6/4/2022 23:00:18 Jackie lowers herself an inch or two, stretching her legs out and locking her knees to brace against the bark. "Yeah, it doesn't sound fun. Better than the alternative though, I'm sure. Is everything alright with you?"

6/4/2022 23:04:11 Reno makes an 'eh' face. "It's been a lot to process." He smiles, "There's been some old wounds opened. But I think, over all, I'm better than I've been in a really long time." He stretches his legs out. "For once, I'm not sure how the path before me plays out. It's a little scary."

6/4/2022 23:13:48 Reno pauses, "Six." Reno says with a light chuckle. "She's turned my world upside down." He grins and winks, "Just don't tell her. " He reaches over for a thermos. "Some of it is hard to explain because it gets really personal, and I'm not big on over sharing that way."

6/4/2022 23:14:56 Six comes back out of her egg nest to perch above on her branch once more after taking a small breather and drinking more of that god awful crap Bryan makes her drink to stop her shaking. She balances with her feet and starts to wipe her tongue saying "bleeehhh" She peeks down to see if Reno and Jackie are still there and seeing they are down she goes once more down the tree trunk towards them.

6/4/2022 23:20:35 Reno looks up at Six and smiles. He pours some coffee out of the thermos. "It's horrible." He reaches for another pitcher and pours a glass of juice for Six. "Here, you know it's better when you chase it."

6/4/2022 23:24:08 Six moves to Reno's side and plops herself down against it. She eyes the juice and frowns a moment, looking annoyed at something but then she grins, reaches up into her hair and pulls out one of the bobbles she's got woven into it. It is a tiny metal wolf bead on a leather cord with a small blue jay feather attached to the end. She holds it out for Reno and eyes him a moment, waiting to see if he will accept the trade before she will take the juice though she does say to Jackie "Its like if you take Christmas and mix it with sweaty ass crack. That's what that shit is."

6/4/2022 23:26:47 Reno points out, "You've been working today." He looks at Six a moment longer. He takes it though, "Fix it to my bracelet?" he asks her. He holds out his wrist which has a leather thong on it already.

6/4/2022 23:27:16 Jackie grimaces at the description. "Yup, sounds pretty awful. You're feeling better though, I hope?"

6/4/2022 23:33:03 Six will down the juice, letting out an "Ahhhh" after it's done. She sets the cup to the side though and reaches out to work on Reno's bracelet, fixing it so the wolf bead and feather can work into the design. She nods and says "Looks good." shifting it a bit on his wrist but then looking to Jackie and shrugging "I mean, not terrible so that's something yeah. And honestly, I will admit that on a scale of my time spent in captivity this is far better than the other's. Leaps and bounds really. No one's even stopped me from claiming my tree and that dude Bryan comes every night and like touches my forehead and boom, no nightmares for the night. Which is pretty fucking cool. Sleeping is fucking crazy though. I don't remember the last time I slept and rested ya know? "

6/4/2022 23:36:23 Reno has a very pleased look on his face. He shifts just a bit so Six can be a little more comfortable leaned against him. His brow furrows a bit. "Nightmares? You haven't mentioned those before." He purses his lips, "I'll get you one of Kaia's talismans." He nods, adding to his List of Shit To Do.

6/4/2022 23:41:27 Jackie watches them quietly for a moment, letting them settle in. "Sounds like you're getting some good help then, so that's that's good. I mean, things ought to just get better from here, right?"

6/4/2022 23:53:18 Six looks over at Reno and with a smirk she says " You need to eat more so you're more comfy." but once again just teasing. She shifts to lean on him more but then looks to Jackie and says " I mean, no actually. Its gonna be really bad but no one here likes to take history and it's pattern to heart. So its gonna get really bad soon. I just cant stop any of them so it doesn't happen. I have tried. No one here listens."

6/4/2022 23:58:06 Reno snorts and puts his arm around Six. That's a little better. He looks at her, "Pot ... kettle." He rolls his eyes a bit too, "I eat plenty, can't help it if my metabolism is high." He gives her a little squeeze. "Chimera put us in each other's way for a reason. I trust my gut on this one."

6/5/2022 0:05:53 Jackie's eyes widen slightly, until she blinks away the reaction. She straightens up, pulling herself off the tree to stand. "I think my money is on the Sept here. Whatever happened before... Well, I'd just try to go with what the elders here are telling you instead of listening to your nightmares. But I should get going, it's getting pretty late."

6/5/2022 0:11:25 Six shrugs to Reno and remembers he asked bout her nightmares " I don't need to share bad dreams with people. unless Xavier found a way to be fucking Freddy Kruger Its just a dream I'll get over it." She then looks back to Jackie and says " Yep, last elders who I had to watch get skinned said the same thing. Its cool you believe in people here. Thats awesome and I hope it stays that way for you, seriously I do. But for me hope is an emotion I cant afford. sorry ta bring down your mood there Jacks. Hope ta see ya round."
