- (Still Kinda) New in Town: Moved to Prospect from New York a few years ago, immediately enrolled at UCP. Spent almost all of her time on and around campus. Now that she's graduated, she splits her time between lecturing on campus and her office at the Black Ridge Building. And still doesn't get out much.
- There's this great [fill in the blank] right around the corner!
- Fame: Had some success as a model before she moved to Prospect, and has good enough genes that she still looks about the same in her mid-twenties. (In fact, it looks like she hit 25 and then just kinda stopped.) Might be recognized from a print ad or billboard. Has also been making some waves lately in the business world after she published her Ph.D. research.
- Do I know you? You seem familiar.
- Perpetual Academic: Enrolled in 2014, graduated with a Master's degree in Economics in 2016, graduated with her Ph.D. in May 2020, Dr. Welkin is currently teaching and advising as a Professor of Practice. She spends a lot of time hanging around campus.
- Jesus, haven't you graduated yet?
- Instructor: She teaches a freshman-level math class year-round and a single economic or business theory class that changes up every semester. Undergrads might know her as an instructor, business & similar majors might have her as an instructor or even as their advisor.
- Can I get an extension? My grandma died. Again. No, the other one. The other other one.
- Shady Past: She was a bit of a mafia princess back home; her father was The Man To Know when you needed your cash flow scrubbed. Need East Coast contacts? She might know a name or two. Have East Coast contacts? They might give you her name.
- Ainchu Jack Welkin's kid? You hearda guy Big Jim McGhee?
- Movin' on Up: President and CEO of Blue Skies Financial LLC.
- I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.
