Valka
"Which path should I take?" he asked. "Which one is safe?"
"Take one, and you cannot take the other," she said. "But neither path is safe. Which way would you walk — the way of hard truths or the way of fine lies?"
"Truths," he said. "I've come too far for more lies."
She looked sad. "There will be a price, then," she said.

Us
"Fimbulwinter is upon us. We have been expecting it for generations. This is why we do everything that we do: so that when the time comes, we will be ready. I cannot say the same for many others."
"Look to the Mother for guidance and beg forgiveness for your pride. Those who cannot adapt will die, and in these dark days and cold nights those deaths are felt as keenly as any knife's blade."
"I know the wolfdream well. Do not lose yourselves in it; you are called to more, uncomfortable as that might be."
"Those who are not with us are against us. Remember who the real enemy is and mind your own business."
"Blood. Family. Future. If we test them, if we try them, it is for their own good. For their safety. The stronger they are made, the stronger we become."
Them
"Perhaps there was a purpose for this, once. Now? It dies. All of it. Maybe Ragnarok can be held back by an ocean of blood."
"Wyrmstink wrapped in Weaverweb. Burn them to ash; scatter that ash. Maybe the wind will cleanse them."
"Caern-rapers. Sept-killers. Curse-wielders. Still, I have not forgotten what you have done."
"Do you feel the ice of the Fimbulwinter settling upon you? Battle will keep you warm, but choose your side carefully."
"You do not belong here. Tread lightly, else you risk being sent back to your prison."

The Pack
Sickle-Claw's Wrath
"Beta. If I fail, I expect you to challenge me. If I fall, I expect you to kill me. Until then, I expect you to follow me. Do not disappoint."
Vidar's Might
"Godi. Perhaps what you were is what you will be. Your Now is all that matters now, though it seems a strange dream."
Slashing Laughter
"Rotagar. Keep the edge sharp, even if it makes us bleed."
Lightning-In-The-Sky
"Daebaudjimoot. Sing the songs of thunderbirds, of lightning in the sky; sing the songs of Glory to me just before we die."
Thor-Born
"Mate. This is not what I would have asked for; this is not what I wanted to do. But perhaps you are right. What other choice do we have?"
Weber
"Thane. If your duty and your desire lead in two different directions, you had best choose one to follow or you will rip yourself apart and save us the trouble."
Garou
Calls the Shots
"First impressions can sometimes be salvaged by second ones. There is too much to do for us to be on anything but good terms. Perhaps someday I will even come to trust you."
Hangs Ten
"Speaking of first impressions..."
Aetlings
Althaia
"Vidar's Might is fond of you, and so far you have not managed to be the most troublesome surprise we have found. There is room for improvement, however."
Brat
"When you have proven that you have learned more than a squalling, blood-wet baby, then perhaps I will reconsider. Until then, you had best beg, borrow, or steal some good behavior."
Christine
"Respectful, respectable, well-behaved. Perhaps a little meek, but your family has different requirements than ours."
The Others
Chance
"A welcome sight in the canyons of iron spires and tangle of concrete webs. The duty that you are called to saddens me, but I and mine shall aid."
Cross
"You hide behind the convenient shield of your faith, old man. You had something terrible in your grasp and you let it slither free. Because some stranger told you to? You do owe a debt. You owe it to everyone who suffers because of your poor judgment."

Where The Wild Things Are
- The wild and lonely places are a good place to encounter the wolf. This includes the forests around Prospect, as well as some of the city parks. She favors outdoor locations far more than indoor ones, and will almost never be found in any bar or club.
The Blood Will Tell
- Those who are sensitive to such things will surely notice the purity of her blood. It is what lends her such tremendous presence, and what makes lesser animals so very uncomfortable around her. But then, Pure Blood 4 means that she can name her ancestors in an unbroken line stretching back for generations...
Judgment and Mediation
- As a Forseti, it is her duty to be both a judge and a mediator. Need a neutral arbitrator for something? Need an opinion about some rule or regulation? How about an objective witness for a challenge, contest, or legal matter?

Inflections
- English is not Valka's native language. In fact, no human language is, and that shows through in her speech patterns. Most of the time she speaks with very little inflection at all, without the rises and dips that most people use to impart emotion into what they say. The result is not precisely a monotone, it is simply that she is usually matter-of-fact and as mellow as honey.
Body Language
- Body language is often more useful to the Forseti than spoken language. It is how she often decides how to interpret what someone is saying, or to extract information that may not have been spoken in the first place. Tone, stance, movement, and expression are all integral parts in helping her figure out what someone means, especially when this is different than what they are saying.
