Miranda "Silikon" Koroslev is a digital junkie, and a cyber-prodigy. Coming from a difficult, lonely childhood, the computer became her escape, and a place where she actually had power. Virtually unlimited power, as she would eventually discover that she had natural psychic aptitude, which took the form of a cyberpathic connection to electronic devices.
Randy, as her friends call her, connected to others in the psi community through private message boards and mailing lists online. Sure, there were plenty of posers out there, but there were some genuine psychics as well, through whom she started to learn more about what she could do. In time, she turned her computer skills — both the mundane and the extraordinary — toward hacking. First it was for fun, but eventually it was to make a statement against corporations that supported causes she considered wrong.
Even before discovering her abilities, she had long played around with creating music on the computer, fascinated with the sounds of electronica. By the age of 17, she was already selling tracks online under the moniker, "Silikon." As she delved deeper into the cybergoth culture, she would eventually start making occasional appearances at Los Angeles clubs, developing a dance routine that allowed her to mix her music live on stage.
Silikon has relocated to Prospect, and has found herself discovering an entirely new world, far beyond what she ever imagined could be real.

Sil usually says what's on her mind, even if it's an unpopular opinion. She tend to automatically gravitate toward the underdog, and has a real loathing for bullies. She also swears like a sailor.

Miranda takes exceptionally good care of her body. Aside from the workout she gets from dancing, she eats a mostly vegetarian, organic diet (but doesn't cut out meat entirely), avoids fast food and junk food of all kinds, and rarely drinks alcohol (at most, a glass of wine in a single evening).

Silikon is known in the raver and club scene as a cybergoth electronica composer. Though she primarily just sells her tracks online, she occasionally puts on performances that are usually a combination of recorded music and sound samples that she mixes live on stage while dancing.

The goth/industrial club is Sil's favorite hangout. She's a regular patron, and even does the occasional gig there.

Though her online identity is disassociated from her public persona, those in hacker circles may know of Maelstrom_Zero; a hacker of legendary skill with a penchant for stealing information from corporations, especially those that support what she considers hateful causes (e.g. pro-life, anti-gay marriage, and numerous other right-wing values).
