Leif has things to do at the Caern. So along he comes, Killigrew and Freya in tow. Well, actually, Freya is running ahead by about 20 feet, flicking a chipmunk in the air, catching it, shaking it, then as soon as Leif and Zoe get close enough, she snags it and runs further away. <<Squirrel! Mine! I eat! Yum!>> Leif is.... he really just wishes she would EAT the fucking thing instead of playing with it.

"At least she hasn't done the cat thing and dropped a mangled critter on our heads while we're asleep." Killi says, snickering - more amused by Leif's put-upon expression than Freya's antics. Carrying a backpack with things to bring for the caern, she's dressed in her usual out in the boonies manner - heavy boots, marshy bdu's, and a cozy black turtleneck, over a set of thermal underoos so she's got layers of toastiness.

Evonna was hanging out at the Caern, post catching up with some others from patrols. She is just hanging out and grins as she hears Freya. "Aawww, there is our sweet Freya. Looks like she has lunch?" She waves to Leif, and Killigrew. "Good to see you both. Things are well?"

Journey appears. Literally, he apparates through the tissue paper of the Gauntlet, dropping from four feet into a three point landing, then springs to his feet, looking around in a spin of 360 degrees. He lifts his hands in the classic pistol formats, pointing to Leif and Evonna, "You two, on me. There's Death to Deal." He points to Killigrew, and then Freya, "Watcha da pup."

Leif also has a backpack, about twice the size of Killigrew and it's loaded down. When Freya spots Evonna, she RUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNS that way and drops the chipmunk, which is still.. oh god, it's still alive, but barely. There's an attempt at a scamper before Freya looks all o.@ at it and then Journey appears and there's a brief freak out and a scamper for HER kill and she picks it up and RUNRUNRUNS over to Killigrew to hide between her fe---Oh! That's Baconboy's human! There is a brief tail wag and Leif starts to say something, but then... He gives Killigrew a little kiss on the head. "I guess I'll be right back, babe."

Evonna changes her demeanor when Journey appears and speaks to her. "Ja, Shaderunner'rhya." She is in warrior mode now, and while she does spare a look to Freya and Killigrew, she quickly snaps to Leif and then to Journey, ready to go.

There's a startle from the Fury kin at the sudden arrival, and she jerks back, paling slightly. It's followed by a nod, receiving the kiss. "Leave your bag." She says softly, bending to scoop the pup up into her arms, cradling her like a baby - gruesome squirrel and all. "I'll be here." Mostly because there's no way she's getting that pack to the caern, unless she takes multiple trips.

Journey nods to Evonna and turns, moving toward the exit, heading toward the Warder Station and walks with purpose, "Okay going into town, by way of Timberland, we're taking my Van." He has a Van, of course.

Leif slips out of the backpack and pats his pockets. The pack is set down carefully and Freya gets a scruffle on the head and Zoe gets one more kiss. Then he's ready and waiting, then he nods to Journey. "Ready." Then to Zoe, "I'll be back. Okay?" He does a complete circle to make sure that he hasn't forgotten ANYTHING.... then.. "Ready."

Evonna nods, "Ja wohl." She keeps up behind him - and along side Leif. Her legs taking two steps for every one of theirs.

Journey walks along, "Got a heads up on a spirit I posted in an area where we found evidence of Dancer activity, seems there's been movement, we're going to investigate the site and find out what we can, then blood flows. Questions?"

Spirit stuff. Oh boy! Leif has the spirituality of a turnip. Whee! But he's there. The Elder has called upon him. "Only - how long until we get there and tell you that the only weapons I have on me are my natural ones."

Evonna asks, "Dancers. More than one? Or is that what we are finding out?" She looks to Leif and then pats the little dagger on her belt. "You need to talk to Branton. Get the pocket sizing done on your favorites."

Journey moves along, through the outer cavern and into the tunnels, moving to a specific tunnel, where Moon Bridges are designated, Journey sighing, "We'll hit Timberland to get the van, we can get you another rig. Get them Dedicated, trust me it's worth it." He says, "But for now, we can stow the gear in the van."

Leif nods. "Will do," Leif says to.. both of them actually. He nods again and moves along, keeping up, of course, just mentally preparing himself for battle

Evonna nods. "Good plan." Of course it is, because this is an Elder planning stuff. "Anything we should be prepared for there? Do you know if the Veil will be an issue?"

Journey moves into the cavern, "Yeah, we're going into the city, though we'll have some privacy, we need to keep our heads and eyes open for people to a degree." Wind picking up as the air splits and he leaps in, running along the glowing tube of light, up, straight, down, to the end, and leaping out.

A garage. Closed rolling door, classic sports car, Motorcycle, white chevy van.

"Got it." Moonbridges are still weird and Leif still hates them - but he doesn't hesitate to jump through and then step out the bridge's butt. He hops out and blinks a few times to orient himself, doing another one of those quick 360s to see what's where

Evonna has seen this more than done it, but jumps right in. Follow Shaderunner? Sure! This will lead to a certain adventure! When they land on the other side, she notes the different vehicles and grins. "My dad had a car like this."

Journey moves to the van, "Leif, go to the Gym." He points through a door, "Get what you need, you remember where it all is." He looks at Evonna, "Weapon?" He looks to the car and nods, "Yeah, good one,"

Leif nods. "I do, yeah." Leif heads in, skirting around whatever obstacles and people might be in his way. He only gets lost ONCE before he reroutes and goes downstairs to get the things and comes back as rapidly as he can manage with a huge-ass sword and a couple of hatchets and THAT makes him happy!

Evonna takes her dagger off her belt and shows Journey. "I have my sword. I'm good." She closes her eyes and wills the dagger to change, and POOF! it grows into a full sword. "Branton gave it a tune up." A grin to Leif, "You have enough there?"

Journey nods, and pulls the side door of the Van open, rolling it open and climbing in. The interior is set with independant chairs that can be removed, but still give it space and access. As Journey climbs into the Driver's seat, he says, "Okay, strap on the hatchets, and stow the Claymore, put the Sword of Omens back in the sheathe and buckle in. We're going fishing."

Leif nods to Evonna. "It'll do." He touches the hatchet at his left hip. "Ranged weapon." And the sword. "For most people, ALSO a ranged weapon." He puts the hatchets on and lays the Claymore along between the seats. "Noodlin'" Leif agrees with a grin

Evonna hops in and straps in. "Ready." She hears fishing and looks to Leif, and then just ahead out the window to watch where they are taken.

Vrooom, the engine starts up and the van rolls out. Along the roads, Journey drives, heading west, quickly reaching the Piers. Pulling up to a parking area, he moves the vehicle along, bringing it to a stop. Cutting the Engine, he points. Ahead the piers, some food vendors, merchants doing business in stalls, the popular subculture of trendy, seedy and others all set on giant man made slabs of material thrusting out into the ocean like the clawing hand of the Weaver. "Here we are, follow me." He opens the door, getting out.

Leif doesn't lean his head out the window, but only just. CARS! FANCY! He makes sure to untuck his shirt to cover the hatchets a little better and slips out of the back of the van, holding the door for Evonna. He does another little circle orienting himself, and then follows. This is all new territory for him

Evonna unbuckles and gets out of the van. Her sword back to being a small dagger, it is slipped into her belt again, and she has her shirt over it a bit. She looks around a bit for a moment, taking in the smells and then catches up around to Shaderunner, not going to stray far from him yet with all this going on.

Journey does a quick jacket pocket check and nods, moving around the van to the Get, "Okay, look bored. Like you've done this a million times before, and you're going to do it a million times again, and you're just wanting to get it over with. We're going to go in, head to a door, I'll unlock it and we go in. Then down. We're going Under the pier. I'll talk to anyone we ay run into, but I don't think we will." He then turns and starts walking through the lot to the Pier.

Leif nods to Journey. And really? Other than that initial lookover, that's probably just about how he looks. He HAS killed spirals a million times before and Gaia willing, he'll do it a million more. He moves alongside Evonna, glancing around here and there, but really pretty chill

Evonna wipes any look off her face and takes that bored look on. She relaxes her shoulders and just strides along with Leif, following as they go. It's just under the pier, not big deal. Her eyes take in where they go, in case she needs to get back alone.

People, vending, selling, moving around, buying. Looking to get the attention of people who might have money to sell, but Journey leads directly along the public area, to a door marked,

'Authorized Personnel Only'

Journey moves to the door, acts like he's using a key, opens the door, and motions in.

Leif slips in when the door is open. No big deal. I mean, he's fucking HUGE and that probably gets notice, but he moves in past Journey like he does this every goddamn day. Just here for the... churros and murder.. or whatever.

Evonna slips in behind Leif, since he is The Wall and all. Totally acting like this is what they came for and are supposed to be there and all.

Stone hallway, concrete, load bearing, the Hall opens, splitting into directly ahead and a set of stairs going down, the scent of the ocean permeating. Lights are intermittent and trying valiantly, though some shadows exist, the atmosphere still tinged with the noise of humanity so closeby, the stairs down leaving that behind as Journey closes the door, making sure it's locked, and starts walking down the stone steps, reaching another door, and opening it.

Outside, darker, under the Pier, huge walls of concrete and steel above, sinking into the earth, at the Beach, sand, pillars, the relentlessly lapping ocean waves, the Sea and the rhythms and forces pushed aside by the structure commanding nature here. Darkness pools near the ground in this ever shaded zone under the structure.

Leif keeps up the same pace as Journey, but as soon as they're more or less alone, his eyes are EVERYWHERE, moving about so they can adjust to the dimmer bits without blinding him completely. Not that it matters much, really. You don't need EYES to fight. Well, he doesn't anyway. He follows along, maybe ducking down just a little bit in case he misses a lower portion and knocks himself out.

Evonna doesn't need to worry about ducking here! But she is careful with each step she makes. This place seems ripe for the Wyrm just with the dark shady areas, and such here. Mostly because Shaderunner is taking them there with that information, and now is the time to be on high alert.

Journey walks along and stops, turning around and looking at the pillars, "Yes." He says and moves to a Pillar, looking at the damage to it, pointing, "Claws, these are Runes. This was a Rite of Defiling. Dancer work." He looks off , looking around, "Yeah, right around here, this is where it happened before." He nods, facing one direction.

Leif pauses briefly and lifts his head a little bit to sniff at the air. There's a faint little gag sound and he shakes his head. "There's also a body buried somewhere REALLY close. It's rotting. There is NO smell like the smell of a rotting human corpse."

Evonna seems that Evonna is overwhelmed with the scent of the ocean, not having smelled it before really, and has missed the smell of the rot. "I see." She looks at the rune and then to Leif. "So the area is tainted, and we have an unknown to find and put at rest."

Journey nods, "Yeah, we're gonna do that. We're gonna figure out who, we're gonna find them, and we're going to slaughter them. We're going to avenge the deaths they've caused and ensure that they do not ever do it again." He is still facing the same direction, "Will you help us?" He lifts a hand out as if paying attention to something else.

Leif takes a deep breath.. through his mouth, tongue to the roof so he doesn't actually smell anything... and then lets it out slowly. He looks around again. Journey's talking to the air, there's a dead body and they're in the dark. This is lovely.

Evonna has learned that Journey is Journey, and if he is speaking like this, there is something there. She is not a Theurge, and does not quite do more than just accept it.

Journey stretches out a hand, and says, "Thank you, come forward and be seen." He steps backwards.

A hand appears above Journeys hand, appearing slowly, visibility creeping up the arm of the female, a young woman in torn clothes, Oh dear Gaia, her bowels are torn out, her eyes gouged from her, bloody pits in the front of her face, entrails hanging in front of her like a swaying skirt of meat.

None of this seems to BOTHER her, though as she tilts her head, "Be seen, what do you mean?"

Sludgemonsters. Okay. Pus-filled monsters exploding when you bite them? Cool. 12 foot tall walking vaginas with teeth? Gross, but whatever. Talking woman with her guts hanging out and no eyeballs? Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Leif GETS it, on the top layer. But down just a LITTLE bit deeper, something says OH GOD FUCKING KILL IT AGAIN! And it's the AGAIN that really gets through to him and he just. Goes. Real. Still.

Evonna knows now that if anything ever kills her, she will want Journey to investigate it. She is as still as stone watching this... ghost?.. appear. "I think he means that now we can all see you, miss."

Her head snaps to Evonna, then back to Journey, taking a step backward, "I-" She pauses, and lifts her hands to her face, "Gaia, no." she looks down, "It's a Pack of Spirals, they're on a Nomadic collection run, this is one of the planned routes they had before successfully, collecting Kinfolk. They're holed up on one of the warehouses in the far docks, they have seven Kinfolk collected from New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. They're..."

Journey frowns, "Okay, okay, yes, we can all hear you, how many, how much do you know about them?"

Leif makes a little growly sound as the --DEAD KINFOLK OMFG KILL IT AGAIN PLEASE!!!!-- woman speaks and he takes another deep breath, letting it out very slowly. He's been breathing the air for a bit now and he doesn't LIKE what it smells like, but he can handle it now. And then there's another light bulb and he looks from the woman toward the ground, eyes casting about to find the spot. Probably fruitless at this point, but still.

Evonna blinks and while still very still, she is growing in rage. "We will get them. We will find them. We will return them." She is sure of this, one way or another.

Sniffing and tracking and bingo, this is a spot in the sand, looks like there was a fire here, but the body is about four inches below the surface, this body was going to come up and get washed away.

Journey pulls from his jacket a small chamber at the end of a chain? he opens the device, lighting a flame and closing it as soke starts to come from the censor at the end of the chain.

The Ghost speaks.

"They are a Pack under the totem of a corrupted Fly. They are collecting for a Hive to the northeast, but I don't know which one. There are seven of them, and this is busy work to prove themselves, they're all barely out of their, I guess Fostern Challenge. I am Aniela Silvertear, from Phoenix Arizona. I was taken. Stop this."

Leif's eyes scan around slowly and he just catches a faint ... difference. "There.." he murmurs, lifting a hand and motioning over toward the area where the body is. And he shudders. "Rite of Defilement is...." The smell hits him again and he chokes it back a little bit, which makes him take a deeper breath that he regrets, so he just stops breathing. "That's why we're here, ma'am."

Evonna is processing this like a champ. Keeping her cool, and her judge's hat on. "They will meet swift and final judgment, that is for sure. Mother BlueJay will not stand for this, and neither will we. Ms. Silvertear, we will get you home, and the others." She will pursue this. Oh yes.

Aniela turns to Leif and moves to the spot, "My ring." She looks to Journey, who is waving the censor around, the fumes drifting down. "Cleansing Censor. My mates design. Smells better and cleanses things." He walks over to Leifs spot, "Okay let's retrieve the ring." He looks to Aneiela, "We'll get them, you can help us, see justice done and your family will know your service to Gaia is loyal even now."

The Spirit turns, looking up and HOLLOW BLOODY SOCKETS that can still see. "It's all a Fang Kin can hope for in this case I guess."

EW! And she's Silver Fang. GROSS! Well, that's it. Leif's going HOME!!! Not really. He takes a little teensy step back and nods. "We'll fix it..." JUST DO NOT COME ANY CLOSER PLEASE

Evonna wants to say that the spirit cannot drip on Leif, but since they are about to deal with her body, she doesn't, because stereo dead people? Especially helpful kinfolk going through the worst thing ever? The rage builds, but there is a mission to be done. "It will be our honor to assist you, and the kin."

Journey looks to Leif and walks over to him, holding out the chain. "Take this, movs around the area, spreading the smoke all over, between those four pylons." Give the Ahroun a task to do before he gets wiggy. "I'll get the ring and we'll get someone back here to check the area later, or do a follow up."

The ghost nods and simply looks at.. her corpse. with hollow bloody sockets.

Leif holds that! He moves around, never really quite taking his eyes off the ghost. He isn't freaking out, but ghosts are not something he really deals with. Gaians get returned to the cycle! They don't go full Casper and a Silver Fang should NEVER be seen with their guts hanging out all over the place. SIlver Fangs don't even HAVE guts! That would be improper!!!

Leif also makes sure he isn't backtracking or anything so he's actually doing what he is supposed to be doing

Evonna sees Leif follow instructions and do his thing, as she crouches down next to the body. Her eyes cannot leave the poor girl's body. "Is there anything you wish for us to tell your family? Anything to the other girls taken?" She waits there for Journey to return and get her own instructions as she keeps watch over her.

Aniela LOOKS at Evonna. It might be hard to gauge expressions when half of the face is hamburger. Her entrails sway slightly as she sighs, "No, nothing I can think of right now. Just-" She looks over as Journey moves to the site of the sand and digs directly, taking out a metal dagger to dig with, and in a few minutes, withdraws an arm, and clears the hand, and removes the ring with a quick cut, taking the ring and moving back, clearing the ring of debris professionally, "Leif, smoke.." He nods to the corpse.

That kinda makes the smell.. worse... doesn't it? Leif moves that way though, holding his breath and only inhaling a little bit at a time. He gets right down there too, making sure that the smoke permeates all the way to where the corpse is, moving all around it, over it, onto it, waving a hand even to create a draft and push the smoke downward.

Evonna tries not to breath unless she cannot help it. Through the mouth, even if she sorta can taste the smell now. Still better than the nose! She steps back further, allowing Leif the room the giant man needs to do what he needs to do. "What should we do next, Shaderunner'rhya? Take care of her, then go try to track them down?"

Journey moves to the waterline, splashing the dagger and putting it away, then walking back with the ring, "We'll call for the body to be taken care of. Aniela?"

The Ghost seems to... pulllll toward Shaderunner, into the ring he has, and then is gone. Just a normal murder scene.

Journey looks at the ring, "And we go kill them all."

No, that's even creepier. Leif opts to just not look. MAN look at that smoke. That's some CLEAN smoke. Yup. Sure is. Once Aniela has been... sucked into the ring... Leif finds his job to be done and he holds out the censer toward Journey and he nods. See, that's a thing he can get behind. "And we go kill them all."

Evonnas eyes widen as the ring sucks in the ghost. Has she seen everything now? Not by a long shot. "And we go kill them all."

Journey nods, getting into his jacket and moves to the stairs, pulling his phone. He starts dialing and lifts it as he walks, clearly heading back to the Van, slipping the ring on beside the copper and onyx one. "Yeah, pier twenty, site four, same as last time in that area. Yes. One." Click. He puts the phone away.

Did .... Journey just... yeah. Yeah he did. Leif glances over at Evonna and gives her a light pat on the back and then moves to follow Journey. "Fuuuuuuuuck man," he half-whispers to his Tribemate.

Evonna nods to Leif, "Ja wohl." Clean up is called, which sounds like something routine to them. Time to go hunt these fuckers down. "Lock and load?"

Journey nods, "Yes, but for now, bored." He reaches the door, and moves back out into the Humanity that is still there, and moving along innocent of what's under them. Journey moves back to the Van.

So THAT's what that means. Ja wohl = fuck, man! GOT IT! He takes a couple of deep breaths and regrets it, then settles back into the life of a Modi as he heads out with Journey and Evonna

Evonna does the bored look and heads out with them all into the sea of humanity. Off to the Van, with Leif, ja wohl. Once buckled in and set up, she is thinking more of what she will need to do with them to take down the dancers.

Journey starts up the van and drives, "Okay, seems they're holed up in a warehouse, holding Kinfolk in a room, caged, getting ready to try hunting in town before moving on." He pauses, listening. Nodding he says, "Yeah okay. Seems like they have some kind of cameras set up, at least monitors."

Leif nods, letting out a sigh of relief as they get into the van. "Cameras? But if they're BSDs, we don't have to worry about the Veil, do we? Like, who are they going to turn it in to?" He leans back in his seat and adjusts the hatchets for comfort so he doesn't slice his literal ass off.

Evonna hmms, "Well, yeah, Except it could be evidence, or warning. So we jam the cameras. I'm sure Shaderunner'rhya can do that, but I've learned how to do it, if the spirits cooperate."

Journey taps the wheel as he drives. "Yeah, no, just Monitors. Some sort of warning system. Not-" He nods, "Oh fuck okay, You never saw Cameras, just monitors." He nods, "Yeah, early warning system, Scryers. Banes mostly made up of eyeballs that watch the physical world, transmit the image back to a monitor in the Physical. Set up and take down is easy and you can watch a location to set up temporary housing." He nods, "But none of them seem to see the Shadows they made." He nods, "Okay, I think I have a plan."

Eh, fuck. She's SITTING IN THE FRONT SEAT WHILE THE FUCKING GAROU SIT IN THE BACK WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!?! CAN WE JUST KILL SOMETHING NAO PLZ THX! Leif takes this time to undo his hair a little bit and do a quick and dirty braid and tuck it up under his hair as best he can. BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY BOBBYPINS WTF POCKETS CAN WE KILL SOMETHING NOW?! He does not sit easily in his seat.

Evonna puts a hand on Leif's giant arm. "What is the plan, Shaderunner'rhya? How do we fit in?" She wants to make this as easy for the Fosterns to follow here, and not freak out.

Journey nods, "I'm gonna open a window in the coverage, we sneak inside, you two get yourselves set up near the Kinfolk to ambush anyone who comes to harm them, I'm going to go walking up the side alley, when they come running out at me, you two hit them from inside, we meet in the middle. Fight to Protect the Kinfolk. That's on you, I'll take the direct assault." He nods, listening, "Yes? This seems reasonable to her, so seems good." He pauses, "No don't worry about that."

Leif patpats Evonna's hand. He's already. "Pre-battle jitters," he assures her. He listens very carefully to Journey's words and he nods. "Protect the kinfolk, take everything else out. Got it."

Evonna nods, "Protect the kinfolk, check. Take out anything that comes near them, check." She checks to be sure she has her pouch as well, filled with talens. "We will be ready."

Journey drives, nodding, moving out into the urban sprawl, industrial hell. huge buildings, chain link fencing, the occasional pool of light in the darkness proclaiming a business name.

Pulling to a stop and cutting the engine, Journey leans back, closing his eyes, "Hang on a second." He closes his eyes, leaning back, "Okay I see it. Them seven. Yeah. Mmhmm, I see what you mean." He takes a few seconds not looking at anything, "Okay, yeah.." He's making little motions with his hands as if studying something.

When Journey stops, Leif starts to go, but then Journey's talking and... napping? No. Not napping. Talking. He starts to ask questions, but then... just.. waits.

Evonna knows there is much more to this world, and the amazing things that a Theurge can do. Just, all at the same time, and you just have to get used to not understanding and go with it. "Seven. Ok."

Journey opens his eyes and nods, "Okay let's go, come with me." He opens the door, getting out, and leads the pair to a corner of the immense building, looking around and moving to the side, "Okay wait here, keep your eyes trained there." He points to a door across the street. "When I open that, you come in fast and quiet." He nods and moves back to the Van to get in and leave them there.

Minutes pass and suddenly, the door opens, Journey in the doorway, looking over. As he holds it open, letting them in, he motions for quiet and starts moving quietly through the halls, apparently knowing where he is going. In a door and Journey leads, motioning along a wall until reaching a corner overlooking the main warehouse area.

A table is set up, several figures sprawled about it. On the table is a pair of flatscreen monitors one of them showing the terrain you just ran through, the other showing a wide shot of an alleyway. Directly in front of you is the edge of a loading dock, opening up into a section of the warehouse sectioned off by boxes containing cages holding people and wolves, most of them unconscious, breathing deeply, or in some sort of stupor. At the moment things seem quiet,

"-fucker shut up yet? Naw. I dunno, makin no sense, but keep an eye out."

Journey points at the floor. Right here.

Leif moves quickly, as quietly as he can, making sure that Evonna is right there with him. Once they get to where they're going, he looks over the monitors for a very long moment, just.... the moon's really big, man. But he's a cool cat--er--wolf. Leif nods, slipping up a little closer to the edge. "Jump.." he whispers, almost but not quite a question

Evonna keeps quiet, right with them. No sounds. She's a ragabashes sister, she knows stealth. Jump?

Journey lifts a finger to his mouth, and vanishes.

A minute or so later, one of the screens, the Alleyway, the screen is suddenly eclipsed by metal. Shiny Silver metal forming a muzzle, then the EYE of a Crinos glaring out from the monitor screen, as the head pulls back.

"THEFUCK!" One of them says, then as one, they shift, and.. lift up, off the ground, a buzzing sound as the Crinos swarm, moving LIKE a swarm, suddenly splits, two groups, two left behind to look at the monitors, and four going out in a flying battle formation down in a direction, assured of the area.

Waiting is fucking HARD. Don't act until they go for the kinfolk. Don't act until they go after the kinfok. Don't.. act.. until... kinfolk.... Leif looks about ready to tear his hair out then he goes into a sort of calm, the kind of scary fucking calm that you don't really want to be on the other end of, and he waits

Evonna has her hand on her dagger. Ready, willing and able to go in there, and just waiting. Listening for the crunch and squish she assumes the Elder is about to do.

The two Crinos, hovering around the monitor, blocking it from view, suddenly fall flat on their fucking faces, and grunt, <<What the fucking->> <Gone.>> The other Crinos rises, and looks at the monitor <<This is bad, Bring two of them out here, kill the rest, we may need to meatshield out of here.>>

The first Crinos turns, and starts towards the Cages, and toward the hiding place of the Get.

Leif shifts once Journey does his thing and then the second they hear the call to grab a kin, Leif makes his move. He power jumps over the wall and lands, squarely between these tiny little BSDs and the kinfolk and he just goes batshit on the first thing that comes his way

Crunch. Snap. Pop. RAAR! Evonna is replaced with a furry nightmare!

Blood Thorn jumps when Leif does. He goes first, but she follows closely behind to get to the kinfolk and readies to take anything that comes their way.

Leif leaps down and strikes at the first crinos, nearest the kinfolk. With one massive hand, he strikes deep into the torso of the thing, blood squirting from between the talons and leaving a nice sticky mess on the floor. A second strike, this time to the windpipe puts it down, but Leif knows what happens here. He waits. As the thing comes back up, PISSED OFF, Leif slams his claws into the soft belly of the thing and jerks his hand up, spilling out its guts, perhaps in honor of the dead Silver Fang kin

The Dancer reaches into his fur and pull out a glob of runny glowing silly putty, holds it aloft with a snarl and flings it. the Get dodges and the mess splatters into the concrete floor, and starts to dissolve the rock under it.

Blood Thorn goes in for the attack again, dodging whatever green goop he throwing at her, she claws again and comes up short of any damage to his tough hide. >> FUCK! << She knows she can do better, but this is a dancer and it is just pissing her off.

<<Switch!>> Leif yells as he lashes out with one of those hatchets, diverting the guy's attention. WHen he ACTUALLY turns toward Leif, there's a nasty little slash that assures the thing's attention so BT can get in a whack

Blood Thorn was a bit out of the way as she dodged, and as The Wall joins her in hacking on the guy, she gets that moment to let her rage flow! Her claws come RIPPING CRASHING PUNISHING DOWN onto the dancer, and he is in RIBBONS. Just RIBBONS. DED. She looks up to The Wall and chuffs, >> Kinfolk! << They need to get in better position now in case anything else comes.

The door bursts open as one of the Dancers flies in, landing with a Silver Strider, with QUILLS coming out of his back, holding down the Dancer by the head, snarling as the silver burns into the flesh of the Crinos. He snorts, <<You don't know shit.>> He then shifts his grip and drives his silver clawed thumb into the skull of the Dancer with dry cracking sounds.

Kr

Krack

KRAK!

Shaderunner rises, blood sizzling off his quills. <<Count of Four, what do you have?>>

<<Two down here>> Leif and Evonna both move, probably pretty close to in synch, back toward the kinfolk, but not getting too close, just spread out and protect. <<Missing one.>>

Blood Thorn looks around, trying to spot if they see any others hiding. >> Come out come out, wherever you are! << Maybe the kin might know? >> Should we ask them? <<

Shaderunner nods, looking around and pausing, lifting his hand as the Dancer shifts down to Human form, the headwound tightening on his thumb.

He shakes his hand, then does it again, then has to pull the corpse off his thumb with a sucking sound, and tosses it aside.

Across the hall, a light comes on in the office, picture window lined with wires showing a man inside the office, with a bandoleer of grenades, looking out, "FUCK YOU! I KNEW IT! EVER SINCE I GOT THE SIGHT!"

Shaderunner blinks, <<Ohh you've been seeing visions of us coming.>> He nods.

Behind the man in the office, the walls start bleeding. He doesn't notice.

Man... that's.... okay, THAT IS FUCKING COOL AND NOW LEIF HAS TO GET A DEAD SPIRAL STUCK ON HIS THUMB AND SHAKE IT OFF!! OM----Ja ... wole? Wohl? Jarwall...? What was that? EH, fuck shit fuck! Leif isn't quite sure if Journey's doing that or if things are about to get a little weird.

Blood Thorn cracks her neck. >> Time to dance. << She's ready to go, but waits where they are with the kinfolk. Shaderunner probably has it.

Shaderunner nods, listening to the man raving in the office as he holds a grenade, snarling, blood coming from the pores of the bricks behind him, unnoticed, "Fuck you!" He yells and the breath comes out in a white plume of frost, that he DOES notice, and starts to look around.

Shaderunner lifts one hand, the Ghosts ring on the tip of one claw, and the dings it, twice against the Copper and Onyx Ring.

In the Office, the man turns around, coming face to torn out eyes, and hanging entrails of the girl he so recently really enjoyed destroying. She suddenly changes, toothed mouths forming from her hollow sockets and lunging forward, the lights suddenly going out in the office, a SPRAY of blood five feet wide coating the window, and the sound of a Black Spiral Dancer.. SCREAMING. Till it's cut off.

Shaderunner looks back, <<Pretty sure he's dead, but we need to check.>>

THAT is the kind of gore that Leif can appreciate. THAT looked normal and he pretends that it wasn't from a dead girl, just .. eh, don't justify it. THIS IS FUCKING COOL! Leif, still in his massive Crinos form, stalks forward. << I got it.. >>

Blood Thorn checks on the kinfolk, as Leif goes to make sure the last dancer is dead. Someone has to make sure they are covered, and nothing suddenly jumps out at them.

The cages are secure, and locked, the Kinfolk ready for transport, unconscious and drugged into inertness. Three women, Two men, and two wolves, one looking pregnant. All with some degree of Purebreed, Various Tribes. The Office is a mass of blood and what looks like mincemeat.

Shaderunner looks around and nods, <<Alright, I'll bring the Van in here, we load them up, and take them to the Kinfolk House. I'll call it in on the road, and we'll start returning these Kinfolk to their families.

Legit. Leif peeks in, but doesn't STEP in. He looks around and then turns back. "Yeah, there's no one in there." And he heads over toward the cages, giving one of the doors a little tug. "We aren't going to transport them in these, are we?

Blood Thorn shifts back to homid, before they start taking them to the Van. "Should we take them to the Kinfolk House to cleanse them? Or just return them?" She looks to Leif, "I'd assume we take them out and carry them? Make them as comfortable as we can?" Fur seems to fly and disappear, as Evonna becomes herself again.

There's a set of keys on the table by the Monitors. Shaderunner shifts down and says, "I'll go bring the van in, and we'll take them to the Kin House to cleanse them and let them sleep off what they're on, contact their families, they're from different places." He nods, and looks around "Okay?" Journey swiftly changes into a human being.

"Yup." Leif motions over toward the table with the monitors and stalks that way. "Keys," he says with a gruff little grumble. Kinfolk in cages seems to upset him even more than dead kinfolk with guts hanging out

Evonna nods, "Sounds like a good plan, Shaderunner'rhya." She waits for Leif to grab the keys and start opening up cages. "It will be good to get them home." She asks, "What of Aniela? Will you contact her family?"

Journey nods, moving to the door, "Yep, I will, and she'll have help, if she hasn't moved on because of this. I'll be back with the van."
