xxxxxComing home from the Kinfolk house trip tonight, Khol and Johanna arrive, baby in hands. "I'm glad to get out as a family, but it is always good to come home. Hopefully Troy is here and we can talk to him together." Stepping inside, she moves to lay the napping baby down in the pack n play that is in the living room area, since there is at least a few more hours before full bed time.

At home is Troy, who is currently in the kitchen doing dishes and wiping things down. He was out most of the day and finally snuck back in later in the evening after a patrol to dedicate himself to a few chores in his new home. "Hey guys." He calls out as he hears voices, peeking out from the kitchen with a rag tied about his head and in a pair of jeans and a simple white t-shirt.

Khol nods as he holds the door for Johanna "it got busy though. too many people for the baby." eh then looks inside "Hey Troy, hows it going?" he smiles a bit "Or should we call you Aunt Jemmima?"

Johanna grins and shakes her head. "Be nice!" So silly that one. "Mercy's Wings, come out here and join us. We need to chat." She walks to the couch and takes a seat, gesturing for them both to join her there.

"Ha. Ha." Troy says to Khol as he take the rag off his head to let his shaggy hair flop down across his eyes. He's in need of a trim. He heads out as he tucks the rag into his back pocket. "Why is it I always get the feeling I'm in trouble when I get called my deed name?"

Khol smiles a little "Imagine how I feel.. I don't have a deed name." but he moves over and settles onto the couch where he is bidden to sit.

Johanna rolls her eyes. "This is official pack business. Garou business. Formalities are required, my friends."

"I'm sure she has a name for you." Troy says to Khol, though his brows raise upwards as he slides down on to the couch with a thump of his weight. He sobers up a bit though, losing the humorous edge to his voice. "Well.. okay." He says as he straightens up.

Khol nods once, and turns his attention fully to Johanna "yes Starchaser-Rhya." he accepts and listens.

Johanna gets very serious. "You have been asking, and trying, and making it super clear that you want to join Kandula's Hope, Mercy's Wings. I have spoken many times with Honor's Keeper and Weathers-the-Storm. I have done my best, as a fair judge, and not a Galliard, to get them to take a look at you for who you are and consider bringing you to Mammoth." She looks down a moment and sighs. Then looks up to Troy and says, "And a decision has been made. I'm sorry we have drug this out for so long. You do not deserve that." She seems rather unhappy about that and could that be the decision made? And then there is her smile, "We've decided that at the next opportunity, we are taking you to meet Mammoth. Welcome to Kandula's Hope."

As he listens, Troy is seriously quiet as he holds his breath in anticipation. When she finally comes to her conclusion, a smile breaks across his face. He looks so relieved, happy. "Thank you, Starchaser Rhya. I am so deeply honored and humbled." He reaches up and brushes his knuckles against the corner of his eye looking fairly emotional.

Khol smiles and nods once "That is amazingly good to hear." he claps troy on the shoulder "Congratulations brother."

Johanna leans over and hugs Troy. "I'm sorry to drag it out, I just wanted this to be as important and serious as it was. Packing is not something we do lightly. But know that you are cared for and loved."

Leaning over, Troy hugs them both tightly. "It's alright. I did not mind. It's important that you get it right. Nothing would have changed for me if you did not accept me. We'd still be family in my eyes."

Khol smiles at that and returns the hug, he seems quite pleased to have a new pack brother.

Johanna smiles and keeps Troy in that hug. "I know. I know. That is part of why it was an easier choice. We knew your heart was pure. Many have been interested in joining, and then if we did not let them right in, they just left and went away. It did not feel right. You, are a brother. You belong with us and Mammoth."

"I am a brother to all, for we are all Children of Gaia. I am sure that if this door closed, another would open. I have hope in my heart Gaia would lead me down the right path." Troy continues hugging her back as long as she needs him to. He gives her a kiss to the cheek. Mwah. "Have you met Kallie and Danielle yet?"

Khol smiles at that and offers "We ran into them the other day, if only briefly."

Johanna nods, "Just briefly. Do you know if they have met with Honor's Keeper yet?" She always make sure that kinfolk are taken care of. Sitting back and letting go of Troy because she loves him, but just as a brother of course. "Have you spent more time with either of them?"

"I don't know if they've met with him yet. They both have full time jobs in the city. I've been spending a good deal of time with them though, so has Bryan." Troy says with a smile as he runs a hand back through his hair. "I actually think I've made a connection with Kallie, which feels nice since Sahara and I decided to walk different paths last month. She and I both know what it's like to hold on to pain far too long and I've enjoyed my talks with her." He flashes a grin to them. "They mentioned you all knew each other as kids for a little bit and they're happy to have familiar faces here."

Khol Chuckles "yes.. well there is that.. its been a while, but yes we grew up together. I was surprised when we did see them"

Johanna aahs, "I am sorry to hear about Sahara. She seemed a good sort. But I do hope Kallie and you can really help each other out. We should really invite them over sometime soon. Perhaps for Mammoth night."

"Sahara is a good sort. She needed to go home to her family for awhile and deal with some things there and we took a break thinking she would be gone far longer." Troy says sadly as he rub the back of his neck. "By the time she came back, I already found myself moving on. She's still my friend though and I do love her."

Johanna nods, "That is good to hear, because I do enjoy her products."
