Sergei had been spending time around Terminal Velocity's caves, mostly in lupus form or maybe hispo but its almost like he avoids his two legged shapes. He asked Brooke to meet him in the training room when she had the chance and when she gets down there he's in human form with what's obviously some sort of fetish knife carved from an animal tusk almost a full foot long.

Brooke finds her way down into the caves, and sees Sergei there. "Heya! I do not think I've seen you like this before. You all healed up and good?"

Sergei nods at Brooke "Elder Farshi's mate did an excellent job. Thank you for asking." He rolls his shoulders "Its taken a bit but I've decided who I'm going to challenge first. You. Your Alpha has already defeated me, he was correct to point that out. By rights you are next."

Brooke nods her head, straightening her back, stretching her arms a bit. "That does make sense. I'm more than willing to accept a challenge. Dragomir is a fair man, and a great leader. It is my honor to fulfill his terms set out for you."

Sergei nods at Brooke and ponders "The nature of the combat is yours to set. Weapons or bare handed, forms, all of that."

Brooke thinks for a moment, hand on her hip. "Well, I saw how you and Dragomir went at it. And the skirmishes I've been involved with so far makes me think. I would say hispo, no weapons. Just what Gaia gave us."

Sergei nods at Brooke and sets aside his dagger and asks one more question before he shifts "Gifts? Gaia gave us them but I don't think that's what you meant."

Brooke shakes her head, "No, not gifts. Just physical attributes. Nothing more."

Sergei nods and then drops into Hispo with lightning swiftness >>I thought so. Ready to begin when you are.<<

A swirl of dust and fur flies, the sounds of bones and muscles breaking and changing - and with a small cry, Brooke is no more, and Hushed Blaze appears.

Hushed Blaze raises her head and howls >>I accept your challenge. Let's begin!<<

Howling-Wind reacts as soon as Hushed-Blaze howls out her acceptance of the challenge and lunges in for a bite of her shoulder but because of her deft manuvering he only winds up with a sideways mouthful of her fur which bothers her not at all. His second bite comes almost instantly after the first and gets not even that much. The third however gets a bloody chomp on her shoulder and he darts back out of retaliation range.

Hushed Blaze stands on all four paws at the ready. She snarls and is ready for this challenge. As Howling-Wind lunges by swiftly and speed bites at her, she is able to defend against most of them, but the last hits and knocks her down, and causing her to loose her fall to the ground and close he eyes in pain for a bit before she tries to roll back over and onto her feet slowly once more. Her rage builds as she readies for the next round.

Howling-Wind circles around a bit as Hushed Blaze catches her breath some >>Are you well?<< seeming a bit genuinely concerned.

Hushed Blaze makes it to her paws, inspecting her damage, she sits back onto her haunches. <<Howling-Wind, I wish we could continue this challenge further, but I see you are fast, and have learned well from your challenge of my Alpha. I must concede at this time.>> She bows her head to him, and then lays down. >>I will tell my Alpha of your honorable challenge. He will be pleased you bested me. I think you will make a fine member of our pack. I look forward to training with you again soon. Now, please go fetch that ring that is secured on the rock. I need to heal.<<

Howling-Wind goes over to get the ring, shifting up into human form, thumbs make for easier picking up and carrying. As he hands over the ring "One of my earliest strengths developed was my speed and accuracy. I work on my reflexes all the time."

(realized that someone can't use the ring on themself)

Sergei holds the ring and puts a hand on one of Hushed-Blaze's paws and pushes the power sluggishly but it does get the healing done a fair bit faster than the week recovering from such a blow might have otherwise taken. "There you are."

Hushed Blaze nods her head, and makes it up to her paws. She shakes her fur out, and then shifts back to her homid form.

A swirl of dust and fur flies, the sounds of bones and muscles breaking and changing - and with a small cry, Hushed Blaze is gone, and Brooke has reappeared.

Brooke looks over her shoulder now, and says "Thank you for the honorable challenge, as well as helping with the healing of my injury. I will tell tales of this to the pack."
