Journey arrives after a spirit mentioned it and he approaches quietly, duster whispering around his feet as he moves.

Branton would have been around the forge a lot, studying some examples of garou weapon crafting as Journey suggested and then working on making his sword. The enchanting process and the final detailing has only recently been completed and Branton has arrived out at Alecto's place with a long wooden box. While not the point of the exercise the box itself is very nicely made and there's a stylized pegasus burned into the lid. Journey gets a nod hello.

Just seconds behind Journey is Jake, barely making any sound at all. He's quite stealthy. He's wearing a white t-shirt with a logo in red letters that says 'Save The Buffalo'. He grins when he spots familiar faces and offers both Journey and Branton fist bumps. "Evening."

Billy isn't too terribly behind Journey and Jake, but he did have to stop and pick up a guest gift for Alecto. You can't just go to someone's house and not bring them a gift! Naturally it's not a potted plant or a donut or anything, it's a dead squirrel. Behold his gift giving prowess! He trots into the space in lupus, looking awful proud of himself, and sits down with the dead thing hanging out of his mouth, out of the way and quiet.

Journey returns the fist bump from Jake and nods, "Hello." He says, nudging Billy as he passes, Packmates being Pack. He looks to Branton and nods, "Nervous?"

Branton shakes his head at Journey from where he waits on the porch with the box in his lap "No more than I probably aught to be. I put a lot of thought into this, making it something that'll be a credit to my gods and my new found family." Tapping the pegasus mark on the box at that last "This is probably the most powerful weapon I've ever made. Start to finish anyway, some weapons I've made the physical bits on contract and then the buyer did their own enchanting. This though is all me."

Jake checks out Branton's box carefully. "Nice case, Branton. I really like the design. Pegasus, right? Does it have a special meaning?" He points up into the sky towards the Northern hemisphere. "The constellation is right over there. Kind of hard to see with the cloud cover." He looks back at Branton. "No reason to be nervous. Not at all. You made one damn fine weapon and should be proud of it. Alecto-Rhya will be proud of you too."

There's a weapon in the box! Billy likes weapons! >Does it have lasers?!< he asks in woofs, tail starting to wiggle furiously. The dead squirrel is set down on the porch out of the way, all covered in Billy drool.

Journey grins, looking to Billy, "I dont think this one has lasers." He confides to Billy and looks to Branton, "Feel good? All yours start to finish? Your expression made real?" He nods, "I can relate to that kind of satisfaction."

Branton shakes his head at Billy and grins "No lasers this time." Then more generally "I might not have a totem of my own but Pegasus is the Totem of my tribe. And since the way one of the spells works is by invoking the legends of warriors who used that kind of weapon it made my selection of heroes almost....easy. Bellerophon, Perseus, Theseus."

Jake nods slowly to Branton. "Makes sense. And I'm certainly looking forward to seeing this weapon in action." Jake, Journey and Billy are hanging out waiting for Alecto to arrive and checking out a wooden box of Branton's with Pegasus burned into the lid.

Billy's ears droop just a touch, he's a little disappointed in the lack of lasers, but hey, they're not for everyone! He shuffle scoots himself over by Branton and leans on him reassuringly. No need to be nervous, two legger!

Dragomir approaches the cabin with rumors of something going on. He more or may not have pack types with him as he does so. All the same, once, and only once welcomed on the property - he will make his way inside and nod politely to each of the assembled as he sees what's going on.

Journey moves to settle, nodding and turning to Terminal Velocity as they enter. "Hello." He says in greeting, "We're waiting on Alecto. She's busy with the pups."

Branton looks over at Dragomir when he arrives and waves before pointing down at the box "Its finished." Then he grins at Jake "Me too, it is super pretty but its meant to be used." Then Billy's wolf form gets scritched between the ears when he leans on Branton's leg.

Jake grins when he spots Dragomir and waves him over. "Hey! Good timing. Like Journey said we're waiting for Alecto-Rhya. Branton is going to unveil his latest weapon. We're all really anxious to see the finished product."

Billy unleans and sits up as Dragomir arrives. Sweet jesus lookit all that pure breeding! When you're not worried about stabbing or being stabbed, it's pretty awe inspiring. Billy cocks his head to the side, just staring a moment before trotting forward to give the man a friendly and very sound headbutt right to the hip. Wham! Hello, friend!

Alecto FINALLY finds Bruiser. She comes back in her hispo form, carrying the fiesty little pup by the scruff of the neck. He's almost too big to carry in her lupus form. She drops him in a pile with the others, who are all sleeping and then slams up to homid and goes to join the others. Finally. "Sorry."

Journey nods to Alecto as she comes in and smiles, falling silent as he looks to Branton, quite interested.

Branton grins at Bruiser getting scruffed and shrugs at Alecto "Its alright, the safety and care of the young are the highest priority right? Where did he wind up?"

Jake offers a respectful nod to Alecto then moves to stand next to his fellow pack mates and watches the proceedings.

Billy flops bonelessly onto his side to show submission to Alecto and informs her, >I brought you a squirrel.< He did. It's dead. On your porch. Covered in Billy drool.

"He was staring down a skunk who had not yet gotten aggitated enough to spray him, thank Gaia." Bruiser? Gnawing on his sisters. She dips a nod to Jake and a grin to Billy and she glances aroud, lifting her nose to the air and she sights the squirrel and nods. "A snack later. Many thanks to you, Brother."

Branton nods and shrugs "Defending the territory maybe?" then he pats the box and unhooks the latch, opening the box to reveal a magnificent silver double edged shortsword "Here it is, engraved with the legends of Bellerophon, Perseus, and Theseus. Inscribed with the likeness of Pegasus and consecrated to Athena and Hecate so that no world-barrier can shield an enemy from its edge."

<OOC> Branton says, "Visual aid [1]"

Jake whistles as Branton reveals his weapon. "Whoa. That is niiiiiiice." He looks over to see how the others react.

Journey nods, considering, "That would have been unpleasent to deal with." He looks at the weapon and nods, smiling as he takes in the design of the blade.

Billy sits up again and gets nice and tall so that he can see what's in the booooooox! >Wow, it's so *shiny*! And the hilt is so intricate! What's it do?" Obviously he knows it stabs things and has no lasers what so ever, but who knows, maybe it shoots birds out the end!

Alecto keeps her distance, but admires it nonetheless. "That's an incredible piece of work, Branton. Does it have magical properties or is it just a beautiful, deadly sword?"

Journey nods slightly as he hears Brantons description and smiles. He doesnt ask what it does, but lets Branton explain, unveil the totality of the Blade.

Branton grins as he explains "I took the Spell for the Blade of Hecate and the Enchantment on that Rapier, the Master's Blade. With it in hand I can strike in any of the four worlds I can see and if I concentrate and channel power into it amplifies the connection between weilder and weapon and enhances all the elements that make a sword dangerous. Sharpness, speed, balance. And flooding the blade with power can be harnessed to make it able to deliver devestating wounds to almost any supernatural creature."

Billy tilts his head during the explanation and wuffs his approval of it! Although in a language Branton (theoretically) doesn't know, he adds, >Remind me not to make him mad at me.<

Alecto grins over at Billy and she nods. "Don't make him mad, Billy," she says quite helpfully. "That's pretty amazing, Branton. It will serve you well, tehre is no doubt."

Journey nods, "That's anamazing weapon, Branton." He looks to Alecto, nodding, "Absolutely. This is an achievement, it really is." He nods, looking the weapon over, "Most impressive."

Branton clicks the box back shut "Thanks. I'm pretty pleased with it, not that I'm going to go out of my way looking for one of those Spirals but I figure this'll make a pretty solid solve for that sort of problem."

Billy assumes homid form and plunks his butt down on a porch step now that he has words he wants to say, "That is a very good idea. Many of us, Garou I mean, think that we are safe in one world or the other, things don't always poke through. Camouflage and sneaking, an enemy might not realize you can see it there and you'll be able to give it a good stab at just the right time!"

Journey nods, "That's exactly what happens, Billy." He looks to Branton, "You've got a solid answer to Umbral sneaking Spirals, yes."

Branton nods at Journey and Billy "Its always good to have options and this'll be easier to carry one weapon that meets both functions. Now I don't need the Rapier for myself any more I might look into finding someone else to use it."

Billy stops a moment and tilts his head, thinking before asking, "...What's a rapier?" If it was a gun, he'd totally know, but it's not so... He don't.

Journey nods, "Well you have something to make sure gets into the right hands." He looks to Billy and smiles, "A thin type of sword."

Branton nods at Billy in agreement with Journey "The other magic sword I showed you, with the metal bit that goes around your fist so you can punch a dude."

"Oooooh, that's what that thing's called?" Billy asks. Legitimately he just thought it was a swish-swish. "It's pretty neat though, it's like um.. Like what a *pirate* would have!" Aaaaaand back to swishing, but this time with an imaginary sword, one eye squinched shut. You know, for an eye patch.

Journey grins to Billy as he demonstrates proper swishing technique. Then looking to Branton, "Any candidates?"

Branton ponders and shrugs "Acacia seems like a scrapper, her maybe? I'll ask her what she thinks. Might not be in to swords." Billy gets a grin "More like a musketeer but yeah, some pirates."

Billy stop his swishing and predictably asks, "What's a musketeer? Guys that use muskets, right?" See, he knows what a musket is!

Journey looks to Branton, "YEah she might make use of it." He looks to Billy, then Branton, "Saw that coming."

Branton grins at Billy "Now I have a movie we need to watch together, I'm pretty sure you'll love it. Sword fights, dashing heroes, chase scenes, evil to be vanquished. Tim Curry plays a very very excellent bad guy."

"Is it like Star Wars? Cause I saw that, and I liked it." Billy says with a grin, "I'm not sure who Tim Curry is though, but I bet he's delicious."

Journey chuckles, "Popcorn, and watching it on the BIG TVs in your place, Billy, I think would e fun."

Branton nods and grins at Journey "Sounds like an excellent plan." Then to Billy "Possibly? He's a famous actor, widly renowned and much honored. He's often playing the villian of the piece but he's so skilled that he makes you forget him and only see the character he's playing. Not so much these days, he's very old but his legacy, his body of work is much remembered."

Billy thinks about all this for a moment and then bobs his head in a nod, "Yes, I would like to see the honored Tim Curry movie on the large screens. ...I have inflatable chairs, too! They're very squishy and comfortable."

Journey grins, pleased with the beginning of Movie Night at Billys. "Sounds like a wonderful evening plan."
