The sound of the howling of the wind, high on the building Ratsputin is standing there his hands over his chest, side stepping into the umrba. His eyes are narrow this is her building her place, up here he might get the right answer, as he waits for the call to go out, he is sitting on the cold roof, with his legs crossed, eyes closed waiting for the sound of a vistor before he opens them.

It's mostly silent for some time. Eventually, a small spider skitters up curiously. Its big expressive eyes gauge you, its pedipalps shifting. <<Hello, wolf. Why sit up here?>> it asks in a small voice - almost like that of a child's with a bit of a rasp. It's white with black furry stripes and red on its thorax. <<Are you sad about something?>>

<I'm waiting for a wise one to come help me.> Ratsputin voice is soft, and then he looks around slowly as he opens his eyes, nodding towards the spider. His voice is soft, as he looks over at the spider with a bowing of his head.

Skittering, chittering, it walks around Ratsputin. <<Well, Wise, I do not know, but old I am! If you help me, I give thing stuck in den hole. You help?>> Foam builds around the base of its mouth as it twitches its curious gaze about the roof. <<Skitterclick getting big. Skitterclick doesn't like big, but it help smaller skitters face bad skitters. One day, Skitter find seeeecret!>> it says excitedly. <<But secret stolen by lizard thing. Get secret back from lizard thing! You help?>>

Ratsputin slides to his feet now, watching the large spider with a bowing of his head.<Now then, tell me of this lizard thing, tell me of you secret> His voice is kind as he watches the creature before him, his hands now deep in the pockets of his leather duster.

A series of clicks at squeals are heard. Possibly excitement? Spiders are hard to read. <<Yes! Lizard thing walk into den. Eat spiders. We run! I eat one of his. Hard skin. Black patterns. Only two eyes - no pedipalps. Gross face! Loooong body. You get secret without him knowing, it help Skitterclick!>> It climbs a wall ina twitchy, fast pattern, looking up to the wolf. <<Secret is... Hard to tell. Its Memory. Old Memory. Help not become bad skitters. Glows. Tastes green. Smells like cooked ants. Small.>

"Okay lead me to den, I will find this lizard thing for you, and I will put it down, or make sure it does not return.> Ratsputin nods slowly his hand behind his head softly rubbing it back and forth. Watching as it climbs a wall, with a little smile on his face.<Lead on SKitterclick.>

Skitterclick nods. <<No can get too close. Memory keeps us back. Push us out of burrows, but will go as close as can.>> It decides and LAUNCHES across the room, almost teleporting to the edge of the building before climbing down the outer wall. <<Come, wolf! Come!>>

The spider walks to the ground and begins following the winding black tar of road, but the spider intentionally stays only next to it, chittering nervously as it gets closer to an intersection. At it, a manhole sits. Skitterclick stops, looking nervously with its massive eyes at the road and climbing on a building. With a leg it points. <<Lizard thing last went in there. Go get, I bring you prize!>>

<Okay then, I will be back with it all.> Ratsputin moves towards the place, as he looks around as he sighs softly, with a little chuckle."So this is where it is?" His voice is soft, as he moves to examine the road with a little chuckle.

The road looks... wet. Bubbly. The scent of fresh tar can be smelled easily as it latches on to the surface. The manhole cover is simple enough, though lifting it would be a pain. The spider watches curiously from the side of a building. Even though its the size of a labrador, its still moves and acts like, well, a jumping spider.

"Well then, stay here or come with me up to you." Ratsputin moves for the manhjole, as he looks around and then he bends down to kick it with the tip of his shoe, testing it trying make sure it is safe to walk on the tar, and then on the hole itself.

The tar is actually waaaay harder than it should be to walk on, as if trying to suck you in. If you stand to loong, you see the tar rising up your shoes, trying to cover you in the tarry sludge. The manhole doesn't budge and looks like you'd need a fair bit of strength to lift. Skitterclick watches. <<Get stuck in web. Almost eaten last time. No can come if Skitterclick wants to live.>>

Ratsputin leaps up with a rage of hate at the tar, and then he is coming down on the manhole with his large body trying to slam into the cave under it, there is going to be no quarter for this enemy in there, as he narrows his eyes. His love is on the line and so is his honor, and now a quest for something that needs it, his totem demands this.

Ratsputin leaps up with a rage of hate at the tar, and then he is coming down now with the manhole in his hands, as he throws it off into the distance, there is going to be no quarter for this enemy in there, as he narrows his eyes. His love is on the line and so is his honor, and now a quest for something that needs it, his totem demands this. He looks down into the blackness of the hole now, trying to figure out what is down there.

A slithering sound is heard and a green light dimly glows inside giving SOME illumination. Inside, the tunnels are large and wreak of wyrm taint and filth. The manhole cover lands on the tar, it mindlessly absorbing it into the street, forming a doll bulge where it landed.

Ratsputin turns slowly back into homid, as he starts to get down low using his gifts, one to hide, one to keep him clean as he makes his way towards the hole, to drop down as a silent little killer. His hands on his machete at his side under the long coat, as he moves towards it and then he sighs softly.

Like some cheaply made horror movie, the sewers simply glow green with no discernable source beyond the fowl scent. The tunnel goes only two ways, fortunately, and the slithering can be heard from the wolf's left. A long tale whips around the corner and a hiss can be heard as it moves away.

Ratsputin lands then he is moving slowly towards the sound, trying to see what it is his eyes are narrow, not his first rodeo but his first solo in a long time. As he moves down the path, his hands are balled up at his side, moving with that odd blur of his moon, and then he stops to look ahead.

In the wrank, festering hole, you hear a gurgling burble. <<Good, Greenchomp. You've done very good. Now, give me the memory, and I'll give you a chance to go home...>> The sound is like black tar plopping into water, slurping and corrupting. <<You bring home, then!>> a hissing voice says in excitement. <<Like promise!>>

<<Yessssssssss... Like I promised...>> the gurgling corruption repeats. <<Indeed, home is closer than you think...>>

<<Okay! I give now...>>

As Ratsputin turns the corner, he sees a tired, fairly battered desert iguana spirit talking to some ichor on the ceiling, plopping down to further taint the sewers. In its mouth is what looks like a white silk covered ball, thrumbing with light, juuuust brighter than its surroundings.

Ratsputin watches it all then he starts to creep forward his hand is trained for this, on the long road of the streets and magic tricks all of it, for this moment to prove his love. As he sneaks up his hand is quickly reaching for it replcaing it with one of his fire balls, that he lights in his pocket before he places it there, it will burn bright and hot, exploding in light and fire and sound, it will do not damage of course. But the distraction will be good.

A scree as the black ichor recesses. <<WHAT TRICKERY IS THIS?!>> roars the wyrm taint.

<> The sounds of wet slaps and screams can be heard as the lizard tries to run. It rounds the corner towards Ratsputin, still not seeing him, but soon a black tentacle grabs him and drags him away.

<<No! Please! Am Sorry! Stop hurt! STOP HURT!>>

<<WORTHLESS little spirit! Let me show you your new home!>> roars the plopping ichor.

Ratsputin moves towards the creature, and then he starts to look around for a moment, and then he starts to shift after placing the item in his clothing, then he is rushing forward in a whirlwind of claws, and furt as he tries to free the lizard, with a snarl of rage and hate.<You are going to be punished now by the hand of a follower of Black Unicorn, your reign ends here wyrmling.>

Greenchomp the iguana spirit is trying to flee while beeing sucked deeper and deeper into the ichor, begging for its life when it's slashed free by a claw. The iguana scampers away in panic, running for its little life while the spirit roars in pain, being mostly severed from the roof from that nasty slash. <<STUPID WOLF!>> It gurgles angrily, and hurtles a mass of foul, black tar at the garou, slamming into the wall behind him, eating into it with an audible hiss. <<YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!>> It prepares for another strike!

Ratsputin roars out in rage and hate, filling his lungs as he leaps forward now as he spins in the air with his claws, trying to clean the room with a wicked shout of pleasure, and then he lands coated in the ichor, the blood, and then he looks at the lizard.<LEave the spiders alone, or I will come for you, I spared you due to your part in this. You seemed tricked and forced, don't prove me wrong.>

The ichor cries out, soon becoming nothing but a pile od sludge, disconnected from the roads and the ceiling, floating in the grey water with the rest of the filth.

<<Greenchomp lost! Trying to go south! Was promised home if I got spiderthing. No hurt! Please!>> the iguana begs, panicked in a dead end. The memory shimmers, a vision of families and many generations. Many futures. Many dreams and hopes - like an ancestral knowledge of spiders dating back to the War of Rage. The glow becomes brighter, as if ready to release.

<This is not yours, I will find you a home Greenchomp, come with me.> With that Ratsputin turns making his way to the entrance, climbing out as he walks out and over the tar, towards the spider the orb in his now once again homid hand.

The road no longer reaches to grab and devour, but is simply warm and relaxed. Chittering merrily, the spider takes the orb and put it on its back, where it begins to grow. <<Skitterclick is grateful for memories! Thank you, wolf! As promised.>> it says, pulling from the growing sac. Out comes a pair of faded, ancient, tattered boots - easily from the glowing sac. <<Take boots. Family inside. Help you go to things..>> it says gratefully. <<Now you are spider, too.>>

Greenchomp slithers out the manhole to the anger of Skitterclick. Both begin hissing at eachother angrily.

<I'm honored SKitterclick, now this little one was tricked his name is Greenchomp.> Ratsputin motions behind him towards the man with a little sigh of pleasure, as he places the boots in his right hand.
