J osiah Whales Performance Artist Barks-At-The-Stars xxxxxJosiah grew up in the tiny Appalachian town of Sutter's Mill, in West Virginia. The town was dominated by a pack of Hillfolk, and he was one of the Kin. He grew up learning how to hunt and fish and similar things. By the time he went through his own First Change he was a master of stealth and survival. He became known as Barks-At-The-Stars due to an incident not long after his First Change when he'd chowed down on some ill-effecting berries and was convinced the stars were attacking. Over the years he rose up in importance in his pack, until they riled up an elder Leech who lived in the nearby mountains. It slaughtered his pack and many of the townsfolk, leaving Jos few choices but to grab as many of his Kin as he could and head west.
