xxxxxLucida was born and raised in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia. Here, she was exposed to all of the diversity that an international airport city could bring her. In such a massive and busy place, a young girl couldn't rightly feel at home with her own thoughts. There was always something to do, or some place to go. That's not to say that her life was bad. Far from it. Born into a well-adjusted middle class family, complete with mother and father, Lucida had nothing to fear or want in the material realm. Adding to the business of city life were her three brothers - two older, one younger.
xxxxxLucida hated it. There wasn't any time to dwaddle on passing thoughts when there were so many things to get around to. Sports practice, school, martial arts, band practice - if one brother didn't pick up an activity, his two companions would surely find some way to fill the void. It wasn't as if Lucida begrudged her family for their interest and zeal; she was just tired of being dragged along with it.
xxxxxThings changed in time. As she entered high school and got the vaunted privilege of her own car that Lucida's eldest brothers had held over her head for a year, she finally got time to herself. Freedom was a luxury that she could finally afford - with her parents paying the gas, of course. No longer was the young Jaeger imprisoned by the schedules of someone else. She could go where she wanted, learn what she wanted, and speak with who she wanted. Time had a funny way of unworking its blessings, however.
xxxxxHer parents were not going to pay for the gas forever. Lucida needed a job - something to keep her head down. Make no mistake: Lucida Jaeger was not a woman to be defeated by a simple job. She wrestled one to the ground and milked the feeble thing for what cash it could provide her. This new, earned freedom had a different flavor from before. There was a limit to this joy. Lucida could taste the bitterness of her own blood and sweat in the mix.
xxxxxThat small box of joy that Lucida poured her life out for seemed smaller and smaller every day. As the box shrank, so did the world around her. Was this all there really was to life? Maybe Lucida's mind bent a bit under the strain of that fact. However, as said before, Lucida Jaeger was not a woman to be defeated by a simple job. Instead of caving in, she fought back. She threw her box off her head and far away.
xxxxxThis manifested as her running away from home without a word. With nothing but a few hundred bucks saved up over one last month of work, Lucida drove away from everything she knew. She drove and drove, until she hit the ocean in California. Prospect wasn't where Jaeger had intended to end up, but she decided that was fine by her. She set up camp in her car, not even a hundred bucks to her name. She hadn't forgotten all the things she'd learned from before though. Rather than running a cash register, she'd live on the charity of those impressed by her performances.
xxxxxShe was still nothing more than a young girl making her way in the world, but Lucida Jaeger decided Prospect was worth her time. More than that, it was worth her investigation. The exotic city had a certain charm that she'd never found in Atlanta. Lucida wasn't fully sure about her purpose there, but the way she figured things, not everything needed to have a defined purpose. She knew in her heart of hearts that she could run away any time she wanted. Freedom was truly within her grasp. Why not stay a while and learn what she could?

RP Hooks
|
- Spark of Life - The strength of Lucida's Life itself is excessive compared to what is normal. Perhaps this is the source of her unusually youthful appearance. She is completely unaware of this gift/curse. She's not very big on physical contact typically either; her touch hasn't lingered enough on anyone to be aware of how good it feels to touch someone healthy, either.
- Burning Aura - Lucida has a broad range of vague knowledges, but one thing she has never picked up on is how to be subtle. This is apparent even in her aura, which is just as vivacious and bright as the extraordinary spark of Life she holds within her.
- Fame: Organic Speedbump - She is the founder and sole member of her own one-woman band, Organic Speedbump. She has played locally for around two years now. Jaeger's music is varied and soulful, but it never gets particularly hard. Typically, her instrument is accompanied by spoken word pieces that she makes up on the spot, or rehearsed poetry. She can and does occasionally sing, though. Supplementing her rise to local fame is her blog, which Lucida records everything from personal feelings, goals, upcoming gigs, and self-released tracks on.
- Self Defense - Lucida has recently been looking around the city for the most effective method of protecting herself with the least amount of time investment.
- Wannabe Jack of all Trades - While she may be what some refer to as a 'self-made woman', Lucida is aware of her own ignorance and is always willing to learn something new. Bonus points if it is exciting or unusual.
- Innocence - Lucida has focused almost exclusively on making her band into her primary source of income over the past two years. As a result, she hasn't really experienced a full breadth of what Prospect offers or contains. With her recent time freedom, she's been sticking her nose into anything and pretty much everything.

Stereotypes
|
Not much bothers me. The setting is meant to be dark and grim and so on and so forth. The only thing I'd like to stay away from is excessive sex. Not even excessive sexuality! It is a part of life. I just do not want to see e-sex overshadow the game itself.
Also I'm a dude behind the computer screen. :)
