xxxxxDyson Wells is the owner of the local hotspot The Sideshow. While this in itself might catch the public eye - and it does - it is his philanthropic work (not to mention strikingly good looks, youthful age, and charismatic personality when interviewed) that garners more attention and makes him a known face. He has become increasingly popular around Prospect due to several newspaper interviews as well as a few television blurbs done more recently. xxxxxThis began with the creation of the Sideshow and the exceptional success of the club, and only continued with his advocacy for local artists. Every Wednesday he allows entry from school age children for free to the back gardens where they are regaled with performances and encouraged to learn more about the fine arts. During the Summer of 2012 he organized and sponsored a diversity acceptance parade that was cleared by the city and is likely to become an annual event. xxxxxWells is a relatively popular name and it is only recently that true public connections have been made between he and the Wells family. Wouldn't one of the Wells want to stand out? Dyson doesn't advertise. The Wells family is old money, politically active, and with their fingers in numerous economic pots. As a teenager Dyson was often seen in the company of Mariava Carmichael of the Carmichaels (a family that even surpasses his own) at numerous social events. However, after a boating accident in Hawaii and a tragic case of amnesia, he left the wings of the family. He still manages to carry himself with the inbuilt arrogance of the rich, powerful, and famous. xxxxxMore recently his abandoned family, particularly his mother Olivia, has taken an interest in his doings with a desire to draw him back to the fold. Rumor (and tabloids) of scandal concerning one of his siblings likely has something to do with this. Not to mention his whirlwind, storybook romance and marriage with the completely unknown Alala Theodorou, now Wells.

Philanthropy

xxxxxDyson Wells has crusaded for numerous causes, investing both time and finances for that which he believes in. He is usually associated with programs that involve the fine arts but certain other programs also catch his eye. Currently the following is of note: The Good Meal: Certain menu items at the Sideshow that have their proceeds go to local causes. The Wells' Red Dance Shoes: A scholarship that provides annual tuition to five promising children for Robyn's School of Music and Dance. Artist Housing: He has been approached about investing in low income housing for "starving artists" and is currently looking at the details of that.
