Green Knight Consulting - Gwydion's Office(#10098R)

The crowning glory of the head P.I.'s office is the massive stained mahogany desk. The room itself is huge, but that desk is beautiful. A compact high end personal computer sits hidden below the desk with the monitor perched neatly on the right hand corner. The mouse and keyboard hidden under the desk on a rolling keyboard drawer. The desk sits flush against the western wall. Two comfortable chairs sit in front of the desk for client consultation. A huge black leather CEO's chair sits behind the desk.

Along the far northern wall there are several tall lockable filing cabinets and on either side of those are two large stained mahogany book shelves. Sitting proudly displayed on top of the filing cabinets is a framed CA BSIS certificate standing proof that Gwydion Angus McBryde is a full fledged P.I. under California Law. On the far eastern wall a plush black leather couch sits with two forest green throw pillows and a blanket hanging over the back, no doubt for when the job lasts throughout the night.

Obvious Exits: Out <O>

The offices of Green Knight Consulting are above a wiccan supply shop called 'Thru The Looking Glass' and across the street from Prospect Roasters. When the snazzy reception area is reached across the way is an open door and you can hear Gwydion's voice calling into his office "Back here, the receptionist is out for the day."

Apple is absently making sure she's not carrying any smudges of motor oil on her person, then even tips herself just a bit, lifting first the left foot, then the right, to look at the bottoms of her shoes. She stands up straight as Gwyd calls out and absently places her hand in the small of Eddie's back to lead him on.

Eddie steps down after Apple, glancing around like he's assessing the place for trouble. "This is where he said to come," Eddie tells Apple. He follows the sound of the voice to Gwydion and gives the man a nod when he's in sight. "Hi," he says without preamble. "I was told that you could help us," he states.

Gwydion nods and grins as he leans back in his chair as he looks the two you over "I either can help you or know who can. Why don't you take a seat and tell me what you need?"

Apple smiles warmly at Gwydion in a way that hints at 'I know you'..but she doesn't reply. She does, however, sit beside Eddie, her hand resting posessively on his thigh.

Eddie sits then finds Apples hand and places his over hers, seeking contact. He seems to be considerably more relaxed when his hand finds hers. "I was told that we could trust you," Eddie returns. His manner is still very abrupt but he seems to be a bit more mellow after he's taken his seat. He quiets for a moment, as if to form his words, then continues with, "We need some identification."

Gwydion nods and grins "A lot of different folks that are part of one of the local...communities, for lack of a better word, can't get papers for one reason or another and its hard to do a lot of things without an iron clad legal identity." He reaches into one of his desk drawers and pulls out a couple of clip boards with yellow legal pads and pens attached to them "I figured there had to be a way to make this process simpler for folks so me and my associates work together to get it all taken care of." The clip boards get set on the desk, positioned one for each. "Dependin on how much you got to spend and how ironclad they need to be for your purposes we can do everythin from 'good enough to buy beer' to 'good enough to run for president'."

Apple absently moves her thumb on Eddie's thigh in a soothing gesture. She looks to her man, her brow slightly crinkled. "I do have a social security number." She says oh so quietly to him. "It should be safe enough for me to use it and just.. you know.. be me." It's a statement with just a hint of question.

Eddie glances over at Apple, appearing to relax even more when Apple's thumb brushes against his skin with soothing strokes. He nods to her, then looks back at Gwydion. "How much for enough identification to work a proper job?" he asks. The whole idea of ID seems slightly lost on him, and he only seems to know that he needs some to better his life.

Gwydion ponders and turns to tap on the keyboard on his desk, looking at a few things and then frowning "Looks like gettin Apple set up with 'replacement' documents on the identity she's already got a right too is going to be about four hundred bucks. Its pretty easy all things considered, and that would include any fees with the relevant state and federal agencies. Eddie needs a new identity created from whole cloth but it doesn't need to be gun metal just....stainless steel will do. Shiny enough to get by. That package, at a steep discount, is gonna cost about nine grand that I can't get past."

"I need some identification for a three year old girl as well," Eddie states, ignoring the financial aspect of the transaction for now. "And something so that I can get a license for a gun," he adds. It's all said in that same even, unemotional tone, but less so than in the past.

Apple crinkles her brows, then nods slowly, "How long will it take to get the ID?" She asks, her thumb still moving on Eddie's thigh, also ignoring the financial.

Gwydion ponders and turns back to the keyboard tapping a bit "Kids are easier in a lot of ways, any existin documentation there to build around? If not that'll probably be another grand. The gun license might be doable at the rate I just quoted you but a carry concealed license can be a pain to get in California. Though I suppose it depends on what sort of work you're gonna be lookin to be doin."

Gwydion adds "Oh and seven to ten days most likely."

Eddie nods to the 'kids' part being easier. "No ID for her either," he states. He doesn't seem to have an answer for what kind of work he'll be doing. It will likely be better than what you end up having to do when you don't have any ID.

Apple lifts her hand from Eddie's thigh, bringing his hand up with and kissing the back of his knuckles, then lowers the two hands to rest on his thigh once more. Her thumb goes back to rubbing on his thigh as thoughts work into her mind.

Gwydion types a few last keystrokes before turning back to the couple "Then that's gonna be ten thousand four hundred dollars all together. Half in advance, half on delivery which will be seven to ten days after receipt of initial payment. Oh and this sort of job has to be cash in hand, sorry."

Eddie stares at Gwydion for a couple of seconds, glances at Apple, looks back. "Don't have credit cards," he replies. There may even be a hint of humor in there somewhere, even though his voice doesn't betray it. He pauses for a second, then asks, "We pay you?"

Apple actually grins at Eddie's amusement. She leans in and murmurs quietly into his ear, but it quick so she doesn't disrupt Gwydion too badly.

Gwydion nods to Eddie "Yup, and I take some photos and pertinent personal information down and then I get in touch with some people and get a few things rollin. We doin this now or do you need some time to get that kind of cash together?"

Eddie tilts his head towars Apple when she leans in to whisper something to him, and while his expression doesn't change a whole lot, it does seem to lighten after she's done telling him what's on her mind. "Need some time," Eddie indicates.

Apple smiles big and bold at Gwydion, "Definately need time. I'm going to have to help with quite a few customs." her eyes sparkle with joy.

Gwydion grins and nods "No problem at all, you know how to get a hold of me when you're ready."

Eddie nods, stands, and starts to leave. He stops, turns towards Gwydion, offers his hand. "Thanks," he indicates. He knows that he's going to have to pay, but maybe it's time to start making connections with the world again. He gives Gwyd a nod, waits on Apple, then heads out.

And something has Apple fairly bouncing on her toes in happy as they leave.
