After dealing with some bad emotion, Shinju invites Levi and Xiu to chomp down some waffle abominations

And Xiu's own arm goes right across levi's shoulder. "Onward!" she announces, and while Levi has that aura of 'plese change subjects!', Xiu's aura is one of 'Oh yes I am in a good mood but still somehow baseline grumpy'. It does make for a pairing that is ready to hit the night in full force. That and the priestess gets to hear more demands for wafle burgers, at least *after* Xiu lets out a snort and eyes Levi. "Low tolerance for waffle burgers..." she murmurs. Before she inhales. "Waffleburger!" Onward, march!

And the trio away into the night, gasp, outside of C-town! "Extrs bacon extra syrup sounds great. And ya, we willlll see might need to get me a thing of syrup to go!" She says with a laugh. Once there she chats up the hostess and gets them a a nice booth tucked away in the back. "Me and Zan'n Hannah hit it big at the Casino last night...So my treat."

Shinju stays mostly silent on the way, shoehorned into being the 'mom' of the trio dealing with the 'are we there yet' screams for waffleburgers. Once there, she simply slodes into the booth, waiting for the others to take the notice so they can grab the menus. `Now... this isn't exactly on the menu, so you either gotta order both or ask nicely. They DO have a chicken sandwich waffle though... and chocolate waffles... hmmmm...` Shinju mutters as she glances over the menu, then looks up to Levi with a grin. `Alright ms. depraved casino winner, I have an enlightening experience for ya... chocolate waffle chicken sandwich with burger added into it.`

Xiu easily enough saunters through the place, glancing about. "Oh, seen this one from the outside before.." she remarks. Figures that she'd not be a regular or anything like that. She easily enough slides into the booth as well, before a menu is into her hands quicker than a virgin finishes in the night of marriage. "Ooh. Oooh damn. This is good. This is good.." she begins to go through the offerings. "...chicken in waffle." An audible growl comes from her abdomen, and she deeply inhales. "Shinju, what have you done to me?"

"Better look out or you'll end up battered and dipped in blueberry syrup." Levi says, plopping the menu down and waving to their waistress in a way that SOMEHOW manages to not seem obnioxius. ""Two chocolate chip waffles. Extra syrup on the side, a burger no bun, chicken friend chicken gravey on the side. Two orders of bacon...Then whatever these nerds want."

`Yeah yeah, blame me for everything...` Shinju muses as she chooses her poisons herself. When the waitress comes around and Levi double downs on her dare, Shinju chuckles. `Oh you saucy dog... well... I want a chicken waffle with -purple- waffles, two eggs, and a coffee.`

"Not a nerd.." Xiu murmurs, still distracted by the menu, before she lifts her head and eyes the waitress. "Four of the Americans - y'know, the chicken thing. And a chocolate malt waffle for desert." she says with determination, before she puts down the menu and leans back, smiling wide as she brings her hands behind her head. "This will be a good day." Because tasty food just makes her days so much better, it seems.

"Coffee for the table. And orange juice for me." Levi nods, leans over and whispers something Xiu and then drums her hands on the table. "aw, look at us...A regular girls night out and its /wholesome/ for once! Not a drinkin sight. Have you been well since our last meeting priestess?"

Shinju leans back, chewing on a toothpick in place of her pipe. `Somehow, I think a night out drinking is more wholesome than what we just sent back to the kitchen.` She gives a small head shake and a bit of a giggle. `Yeah, sure, fine. Just another night of shrine fixing and slashing dummies. What kind I mean I won't say... but what I will say is I'm totally going to need a picture of you eating that monstrosity to shove in Hannah's face.`

Xiu arches her eyebrows at Levi's whisper, and then grins, lightly nodding. "Aight." she agrees to..something? Before she hehs. "Don't need drinks to have a nice hangout. Good food does lots for the happyness." she remarks - before her stomach growls again, and her eyes narrow. "Else there's gonna be accidents.." she murmurs, before she glances over at Shinju and smirks at the priestess. "Oh? You're into nights-out featurin' heavy drinkin'?" she wonders - and cackles softly. "Yeah, snap all the photos, sure."

"If you want you can take a video. Makr her watch it in slow motion." LEvi says with a laugh. "YOu going to put in on your snapchat, Shinny? You like...A real PERSON under there? You go flirt with guys on the weekend when no ones looking?! I even heard you giggle! It was kinda freaky..." she teases. "...giggling...How undignified.."

Shinju nods at Xiu, pulling a foot up onto the booth and resting an arm on the knee. `Yeah. Just not used to having anyone take notice of me. You gotta remember... the spirits -love- nights of feasting and good sake. It's why I always take some back with me... another reason to feel bad for those western 'priests'. Who're they pleasing by not doing anything ever?` With that, Shinju gives a long sigh and a dagger-filled glare to Levi. `Hardy har har. If only you'd known me like... 6 months ago when I was more like Xiu here. And really... you don't think I haven't tried doing socials? Ryu made sure -that- didn't happen.`

"Only feasting and drinking?" Xiu wonders out loud, lightly smirking - and even more so as that *glare* gets aimed at Levi. Though the comment after makes her slightly cant her head. "Like me?" she wonders. "..oh, you mean.." a gestures towards the entrance. "The street. Yeah, I remember. Hello Ryu." The greetings comes as an aside, before she peers over towards the waiters, observing their coffee being prepared. And the OJ.

"Oh, I do suppose Ryu could make things...Tricky...In he aspect, huh?" She just grins then, licking her teeth. "Im sure you could alaways take Hannah out for a ride~" She teases with a snicker. The kitchen is on point tonight! The food is already making its way to the table. "Well, we should do something at the shrine next time, all of us, let the spirits..you know... Enjoy." She says with a shurg as she starts to construct her monster of a sandwitch.

Shinju shakes her head. `Hannah's already tried. Too bad for her trying to get a drunk Shinju, I'm a super heavyweight...` she says with a wink, pulling out her phone as the many plates of food fill the table to spilling. Shinju's purple waffle sandwich somehow looks to be the most modest thing there compared to the dozen of plates Xiu and Levi have between them. `This is uh... yeah. Go on, tell the camera where all the blame is due to...` she says, bringing the video over to cover the food... then focuses on Levi as she constructs the monstrosity. `Do it! Fit it all in your mouth and take a bite!`

Zan enters Wafflemania with Mary at his side. Opening the door for the smaller woman he rests his hand lightly on her back as they look around for a seat. Spotting the nearby table of his fellow Shen he waves in their direction and then leads Mary over with him. "It's almost impossible not to make a joke about fitting it all in your mouth. But I'm BETTER than that." Motioning for Mary to settle in he sits with her as they join the group and he asks after they sit, "Mind if we join?"

"I swear this is the most excited I have ever seen you, Shinju." xiu remarks, grinning wide - not that she *isn't* excited. She is *grinning wide*. Because now, four chicken waffle burger things are right in front of her, and she grabs the first one - along with the coffee that Levi donated - before she digs in, eagerly. "Mhellow Zphan, Mawy." she greets Zan as she enters, looking up at him with a grin - and chewing.

Mary heads to a table but gets directed towards the others. She looks at them with a grin. There is a pause as she nudges Zan. "That's just because you know when I say it, I'm not joking.'

Levi gives the most serious look to Shin, and then she slowly smashes her monster-waffle-chicken-burger mash up down with one hand, pressing it until it starts to burst, picks it up, dunks it sloppily in the syrup then starts to cram it into her face. Pieces break off, fall back to the plate--Its a drippy sticky horrible mess, and LEvi proves just how much of a fucking savage she is as she /fist/ the god damn thing into her face, choking it down in about four swallows and a whole lot of manual food-to-face- packing with her fingers. "OHHAHMARRAH! HaiZAH!" She says around the mess, coughing a little bit, almost gagging, but powering it down with one last gulp. "Fucking DONE BITCH!" She proclaims, loudly, at Shinju. As if she'd just won some sort of bet.

Shinju's gaze drifts over to Zan and Mary as they enter... Shinju and Xiu sitting on one side of the booth while Levi sits on the other. There definitely seems to be room for at least 6 at it, so she gives them a small nod over the phone she films with. `Uh... yeah sure....` But, she's clearly distracted. `Yeah well I guess I don't get 'out much' huh?` She replies to Xiu, taking a moment to film her devouring... but then moves to the main course. Literally and figuratively. Her eyes go -wide- as Levi starts to do... all that... frozen as she films what should probably be legally considered a snuff film with how she murdered that -thing-. `...I uh... yeah, you got me.`

Zan grins and then winks at Mary, "But you can." Settling in, he slides an arm around Mary's shoulders and then smiles at the others, cheering on Levi as she proves how savage she is. Shaking his head, he then nods in greeting to both Xiu and Shinju. "This is the right group right here to get you out and about Shinju... Hell, I think Levi should be paying for this whole meal today, right?" Waving down a server he orders coffee and waffles and then lets Mary order as he adds to the group, "What's the plan? Crazy eating contests?"

Xiu just stares at Levi next to her there, for a long, long moment. Eyes wide. Silent. Ten yard stare. Before she slowly looks ahead and takes a slow chew of her chicken waffle burger again and licks her lips. "Should take bets on how many bananas she can get 'n there at the same time.." she remarks dryly and lightly shakes her head. "Jeeeeeeeeeez girl...." Her eyes find Zan and Mary again for a moment, and she smirks. "Got bored of the beach?" she teases them, before she takes a slow sip of her coffee and eyes Shinju. "'ey, you remember my offer, yeah? Anytime you want a night out. I can hang at the shrine and stuff while you go."

Mary slides in next to Zan. And holds his arm tight, watching ... what ever that was with a look of muted horror. As if her fingers might be in danger if she got to close. "HM? Oh ... well I'm never bored of the beach. But we gotta eat!"

Levi then sets about 'demurely' picking up the scraps that had burst from her assault on the food and daintily dips them into her syrup. She turns to level a look at Xiu, considers her for a long moment and then replies in a dead-pan serious voice. "Five, comfortably." The stare and look last for a moment longer before she burst into laughter. "And for you information, Zan, I AM paying! At least for everyone but you. You won enough cash to buy your own damn dinner!" She says, shooting a little wink over to Mary. "You? You I can cover." she says before reaching over to try and boop Mary on the nose with a syrup sticky finger. "..But ya. I might not be a qualified shrine sitter like Xiu but I can at least get you out on the town! Show you some haunts."

Shinju stops the recording, setting it on the table and playing back -the moment- for Levi to see from the other perspective. `Look at you... yeah, think I have a Hannah-warding charm with this one now.` Then, she turns to Xiu and Levi. `For the record, I KNOW the streets damn well. Don't need showing the haunts... but thanks, I might take you up on the offer to help watch at the shrine. I'm not gonna find any graffiti covering the office when I return, am I?` She mutters as she picks up her purple waffle sandwich, matching her kimono in its gaudiness as she takes a big bite... though nothing compared to her surroundings.

Zan nods to Levi and then motions to the server, "She'll have a coffee and waffles on top of whatever else she's ordering." This said about Mary's order since Levi said she'd cover for Mary." Winking towards Levi he adds, "That was fun and we all made a lot of money. Good work on that, by the way." Motioning to Mary and then himself he grins to Xiu next, "We love that cove, its a great spot. Maybe we can set up a better spot closer to Chinatown, maybe a lake area or a cool /open to the public/ unisex bathhouse."

"Nah. Might walk in on me markin' territoy." Xiu replies to Shinju, before she starts on her second chicken-waffle. The first, alas, has stopped existing in its consistent form already. "Mh..wait, wha?" she pipes up again, eyeing Levi and Zan. "...Levi, did you fuckin' gamble again?" she asks, and eyes Zan. "Did she fuckin' lose hard?" Her eyebrows rise, and she eyes Levi once more. "Girl, you're worse with money 'n I am...and I fucking scrape coins off the sidewalk."

Mary nods once. She just lets Zan order for her. "Made a lot of money?" She looks around then back to zan. "What happened?"

"I will have you know we made several thousand dollars between us! I took Hannah and Zan out to the riverboat...How do you think I'm affording to fuel you up with all these waffleburgers?! The territory marking components aren't free, Xiu! And you think I can hold down a JOB?! Can you see me at O'tooleys, wearing a little paper hat taking orders? No? Me neither....I made enough to cover rent for two months! Plus fuck around cash thank-you-very-much." Levi replies in a quickly spoken huff, leaning over the table to look at Shins video. "Damn, I look good." is all she says to the footage of her that some might consider a war crime. His eyes flick between Zan and Mary then. "I could set up a kiddie pool outside the rising sun."

`Markin' territory... guess I need to invest in a nice thick chain and spiky collar if I'm getting a new guard dog.` Shinju says with a snicker. `Making me feel responsible with how I handle money. Though people giving donations to the shrine does give a bit more motivation to not mishandle it.` She takes another bite of the wafflechickenburger, pulling back her phone and stashing it. `Now a kiddie pool sounds like a good plan, perfect fit for the regulars!`

Zan looks between the others and then smiles as Levi explains how they did great out gambling. "What territory?" Looking to Shinju with that question, "Or marking what?" A little confused he then winks to Levi about the pool. "If you don't mind us using it, in public naked, we're in. Xiu can hangout too, NO CLOTHES IN THIS POOL!" Laughing he winks to Mary as it's clear it means she'll be naked in the pool he quiets down as their food and coffee arrives.

"Woof, ruff, awooo!" Xiu lets out after swallowing her next bite, before she licks her lips and grins at Shinju. Then she leans over towards Levi, and just begins to hackle into her mouth for a moment until the next bite of chickenwafflething disappears into her. Almost done with the second of four. "Mh, happy gettin' arrefted.." she murmurs in her next bite, glancing at Zan. "'leaft the tourifts will take fnapf."

"Yeah public nudity is a big fine. God forbid a kid sees you, get the right judge your ass if on a watch list for life." Levi says, licking her lips and peering confused at Xiu for a moment before just laughing. "I gotta go meet a dude to pay back a loan before he sets my apartment on fire." Shut up, Xiu! Levi isn't bad with money ok!? Everyone uses loan sharks! "I'll catch you all later. " She says, giving Xiu a casual little kiss on the head as she wiggles past and out of the booth, leaving three hundred dollars on the table. THe others get a bright grin and a finger wiggling wave. "Yall be good...Hit me up sometime? I'd like each of you to assume that was secretly directed at /you/...Feel special!" She says with another laugh before she turns to make her way out.

Mary is just leaning on Zan and slowly rubbing his chest. Seems almost meditative for her. But she finally snaps back to the conversation. "Hm? Who's getting naked? Here? Now?"

`The shrine. Talking about keeping everything good when I'm out.` Shinju mutters, finishing up her meal. `Oh nooo... all of you going to jail for public nudity... whatever would I do with the place all to myself?` She gives an audible snicker, pushing her empty plate back with a bit of a groan. `I'm gonna have to do extra sword practice tonight. Don't wanna make a habit out of fattening myself....`

Zan nods, "I know, I know, everyone in the modern era is a prude. I get it." Shaking his head he pours sugar in his coffee and then stops the server to bring back some chocolate chips for the waffles. "Yeah that's why the cove is better, just its ok to be naked so everyone can just chill out." Winking at Mary he gives the others a shrug. "Whatever."

Xiu smiles, and delivers a smooch to Levi's cheek in return. "Be good. /Don't overpay. Do NOT bet on anything./ she tells the other. "/Buy five bananas./" she adds, before she...slooowly arches an eyebrow at the *three hundred dollars* sitting on the table. "...fuckin'.." she says, as immediately all her warnings got crushed right here. "...catch you soon girl. /Soon./" She glances over at the other, before she shakes her head, softly laughing. Then she focuses on Shinju, and cants her head. "Oh, here you went 'the spirits like feastin' an' everything..."

"I only over pay when im treating friends. I'm a horrible cheap-o on everything else. "Levi says with a grin. "Yall have fun, be good...And I'm hearing we need to fatten up shinju, right? i'll start bringing by treats...Gotta figure out what tempts her." She says with a laugh, giving Zan a friendly slap on the back and Mary a little wink and kissy face before she slips out.

Shinju rolls her eyes at Levi's comment. `Don't even think about it... you ain't gonna figure out anything.` Then, she pulls out of the booth, stretching, taking a breath. `Don't worry, there'll be feasting for the spirits alright. Just you wait. But... I should probably be going too. Stuff'n shit to do.`

Mary makes kisses face right back and waves. She looks back to the table. "You'll tell me about the casino later?" Eyes bat as she looks to Zan. A laugh then her food arrives and she nibbles at it. Oh my. I show up and everyone had to go."

Xiu's head lifts as Shinju gets up - the street rat into her third chickenwafflevictim. "Mh...aight.." she says, nodding. "You get home to the shrine safely, okay? An' pet the tattoo for me." she says, lightly smirking, before she licks a couple fingers and eyes those *three hundred dollars* again. "Jeez, Leiv, gonna get some of that back to ya.." she murmurs, before she glances at Zan and Mary, eyes flicking left and right. "Guess Mary wasn't there, huh?"

Zan waves to everyone leaving and when the chocolate chips arrive he spills them on his waffles and then nods in approval as they start to melt along with butter before syrup follows over the top. "Nah it was late and Mary was already in bed." Giving her a wink he then waves to Shinju as she's getting ready to go too. Looking to Mary and Xiu he says, "Both Hannah and Levi were dressed all sexy, I was in a t-shirt and shorts like a rich guy lay about."

Mary tickles her hand along Zans side. "AFter what you did to me, can you blame me for being tired?" She laughs, face a little red, and winks at him. 'But I would love the details."
