Isla has the bowl in hand after the last of them put in his blood. She dips two fingers into it and swirls it around. Turning to each Garou, she instructs them to remove their shirt if they have now. She carefully swipes a bit of the mixed blood on their eyes, and then makes the glyph of Totem on their hands, and the glyph of Gaia over their hearts. One by one she does this while chanting "Bind them together, their blood becomes one. Bind them together, your will be done."
When this is finished, Isla raises the bowl with the blood in it above her head with both hands, "Gaia bless these Garou as they seek to fulfill their purpose. Bind them together so they may act as one, and defeat their enemies with the team work a pack can only perform. Let them trust and believe in each other so they can find glorious victory in yer name."
As instructed, Ken removes his shirt, draping it over the chair behind him. He accepts the blood and continues to hold his regal bearing. As Isla finishes the Rite, he shifts to War Form and takes a deep breath, letting out a very loud, proud howl! He gestures for Kohana and Daffyd to join him!
Tinlin tries very hard to commit this moment to memory. She is deeply humbled by those who stand united to restore her family's honor. Each person is given a look of deep respect.
Kohana who so often goes shirtless, had a shirt on and has to remove it. His muscles roll, the Wakinyan-Tanka tattoo on his body arcs with lightning a moment but only for a second as he stands up tall, as the glyph is smeared across him he nods out of respect, looking then to Tinlin.
Daffyd joins in with Ken in the howl, shifting into his warform as well as he does so, enchancing it with Call of the Wyld!
After holding the howling cacophany for a very long time. Good lungs. He lets it trail off and shifts back to human form. He looks vigorous! Very vigorous! He bows to Isla again, deeply, "Thank you Fiery Bellona'rhya for blessing and honoring us." He is deeply reverent to her. "We will make you proud, or Gaia claim us trying."
Isla brings down her hands and the bloody bowl and offers words of wisdom to each of them. With a grin, she replies to the Howls, "I expect to hear many tales of your adventures for this mission. I expect you to come back, ready for a Rite of Wounding on your new battle scars. It will be a lasting memory of the good fight. It is not often that we perform the Rite of Pack's Blood, but it can bring strangers closer together, and teach cliaths especially how to really work together before they seek out a totem spirit in earnest. Learn, Listen, and be excellent to each other. Party on!" Ok, so she has watched a few too 80's movies, but it works!
Even Tinlin can feel the invigoration spreading across the room. It bubbles up inside of her like a wellspring of good faith and courage that this is really happening now! She brings one hand up to her mouth as her eyes water. She nods to Ken's first exclamation of thanks to Isla, and then she too is smiling quite a bit. 'You honor me. Thank you, so much for taking up this quest."
"I am sure the Fianna Galliards will have plenty of stories they will want to tell." Kohana says proudly, "And perhaps, a little something about the Wendigo as well." he adds in with a little rumble, a primal energy filling him after the call, maybe he can withstand his dislike for the big castle for a bit afterall.
Taking a deep breath, Kennard smiles, "It's time to celebrate!" Ken rubs his hands together and goes over to the intercom, "Heally, bring up the cart!" He calls. He rubs his hands togeher, "Shall we do this up here, or take the festivities outside?"
Tinlin answers right away, "Let's go outside to the back courtyard. LAST one to jump in the pool, is a rotten goat.." She picks up a bottle already on one of the table's, and she's off running.
Isla carefully gets her bowl put away, and takes out a wipe to clean her hands off. Not her first rodeo in blood. "Rotten goat, somethin' even a goat willnae eat."
Ken walks over to Kohana and takes his forearm in a warrior's grip. He touches his forehead to Kohana's, "You honor us brother. I will make sure the Galliard sing your praises, if I have ta do it myself." It's heartfelt. He lets go and then gestures, "Might want to hurry ..." and turns to Isla. "May I do anything, Lady Isla?"
Isla shakes her head, "I'm good fer now, and I thank ye fer asking. I think I shall be retiring tonight to me new Ranch. Me horse, Angus, is having a bit of a time settling in, and I should take the time to brush him out tonight. I'll be inviting the tribe over soon as I get it all setup. Especially my Archery range."
Kohana returns the smile and clasps Ken on the back, "The only thing I care about is our success." he says and then he turns and decides to run after the others.
"Ye are always welcome." He gestures, "I have suites with yer pack's name on them. I'll even have a little shrine to Black Unicorn erected in the courtyard. Any packs the Fianna form, I'd do the same." He grins. He takes a deep breath, "Anything ye want from back home?" He asks with a grin, "I'll bring souveniers."
Isla smiles, putting her bag back over her shoulder. "Aye, whatever ye bring will be most excellent. Just really be sure to bring all of yer pack and those attending with ye back with all their limbs. We will await ye with a celebration upon yer return home. No matter what happens. Serve us all well, and complete yer mission."
Kennard listens intently and bows again. He does hold up a finger, "Hold on .." He walks over to the refreshment cart and grabs a bottle from underneath it. He checks it and then walks over, handing it to Isla. "A little something special me and Lon put together. I play in the distillery, but Lon likes some of me ideas. I've got a sensative tongue, so I'm good with gettin' the flavors right." The bottle is dark colors and the label simple reads 'Fire'. He bows, "Your wisdom is always appreciated." He grins widely, "But there's a party I'm missing!" He takes two steps back and turns, "Time ta show these kids how to do it!" He takes off and if you look, he's opening a window facing the back and runs, leaping out the window!
