Deep Forest - Living Area

Deep, green, lush vegetation encircles around and about on the rich ground below one's feet as they pass through this thick section of the underground forest. Small rocks, medium-sized shrubs, and murky, watery puddles of mud lie strewn about on the shadowed, brown earth while entangled roots strangle against massive tree trunks that reach high up into the sky above. Monolithic trees loom like sacred monuments to the gods as they hover with their tremendous twisted branches overhead, their leaves whispering secrets that only the creatures of the forest can understand. The thickness of the trees within the area equal past several meters across as they tower high and reach over to create a canopy covering the forest tops. Shadows dance just outside one's vision for those that pass through this section of the dark forest and play tricks with the mind's eye.

The sounds of nature surround all in the deep thickness of the woods in this damp area. The light chirrup of frogs in a nearby pond and the fluid, waving fluctuations of crickets break the cool, thickened air whether during night or day. There seems to forever be an eerie misty haze that settles like thick tendrils throughout the woods around these parts for some strange reason, lurking around the flora and fauna making it difficult to see especially at night. The area seems dark and foreboding during any time of the season in this neck of the woods. Strange, unnerving, sounds of the surrounding naturae forever befuddle one's senses, seeming to mislead the listener into a rush of anxiousness, and confusion. The woods are known to be a place of mystery as well as danger for those that don't belong here, and all too often easy to lose one's sense of direction.

Obvious Exits: Mystic Valley <MV>

To (George, Bryan), Vicky pages: Sitch: WT and vi in a tent talking n cuddling, Kaydin puts a rat inside, WT eats it, vic pukes and then: Kaydin just seems to not react. He shifts to Glabro form and when the girl's head comes out, he tries to grab her by the back of the neck and drag her out. "Would the kind douche who ate my friend please come out so I can kick his ass?" He calls as he keeps Vicky grabbed by the scruff much like a pup. // Whitethunder SNARLS and the tent -disintigrates-. Nine feet of pure-bred Crinos standing up with strips of green nylon fluttering down like a poor sad balloon, amber-eyed and midnight fur tipped in silver, like a halo of near luminescence. The ruff on his chest is thick, and deep, and his muzzle is broad, coming to a definitive end that -screams- Shadowlord. He is Wallachian Wolf, all the way, and bears a striking resemblance to his Great-Grandfather, a renowned Shadowlord Homid Elder in New England, for anyone well traveled enough to recall. He doesn't rise into stare-down stance though, but into combat stance, a blanket shoved down into the loam. Two and a half inch amber talons, chipped and broken, are flicked out as he curls his hands, saliva dripping from the sides of his muzzle rage held in check put clearly -seriously pissed off-.// Vicky is small, and distracted by puking - which makes her easy to haul out of the tent. Naked. And now cold. Confused, she blinks up at the albino, curling up into a huddly ball, knees to her chest and ankles crossed to hide her girly bits and try to cling to the warm still on her skin from being bundled in blankets. Goosebumps spring up along her arms and she shivers, not putting up a fight, "Bad idea..." she says softly as the tent comes apart, the sour taste of vomit thick on her tongue, and probably her skin - simply drug out, it's likely she may have been yanked through her breakfast.

Kaydin lets the girl go as he stares down the Crinos, Unafraid, blood red eyes glaring into the one before him. "There's the Douche." He says as he keeps glaring at the man, not breaking eye contact as he glares at him. When the other talks, he doesnt say anything.

"My... Mate..." The shadowlord mangles the English, taking a step forward, amber eyes locked on the Glabro's as he comes within striking range. Julius' fangs are bared, his anger clear and bright and sharp and obvious for a dozen yards around, his hackles raised so that the ruff on his back stands up almost like quills, bright fur gleaming. The shreds of tent fall all around Whitethunder, flopping into the bushes, some partially connected to the base still, and his paw thumps heavily as he crushes forward into the loam, rat on his breath and murder in his amber eyes.

Naked and chilly or not, once let go of there is no way Vicky is going to stay that close to angry garou. She may consider changing her perfume or something though. Scuttling towards where Laric is, she tucks back down into that 'as modest as it gets while nekkid' ball and bounces her forehead against her knees a few times.

Laric shrugs as his greeting goes unbidden. He isn't one to require the spotlight. If anyone accuses him of not announcing himself, Laric is blameless, and he will assert as such. The man place his thumb and pointer finger on his chin as he walks forward towards the group.

George comes in from the entry valley with Bryan, walking easily and chatting "So yeah, I got us some more help for the construction out on the Island but we need to do some stuff for the Elders to earn it. I told them that was cool, only fair really."

George frowns as he trails off and looks around, feeling the tension in the air.

Bryan nods as he moves along with George. "Cool. I...." He glances up to see all the rage and rawr and the little naked girl off to the side and he freezes. His hands were tucked into his pockets, but they come out now and, more than the garou, he eyes the kin. Is she okay? He moves away from George, skirting around to the side, reaching to tug his shirt off his upper body.

"My Rat. We are even." Kaydin says to the Shadowlord as he continues to glare and stare at the bigger beast. Blood red eyes watches him with a growl. The bigger man intimidated him and his rage was bristling.

Much more comfortable in his breed-form, Julius snarls "What kind of wolf keeps -rats-. What kind of wolf loses hold of his -pets- on the bawn, and then seeks to blame Garou for following the wolf? Do... not... touch... my... mate..." Combat rounds, short as they are, there's quite a lot of posturing there, Julius' clawed hands curling up into torso-sized fists, his claws laid out across his wrists like amber thorns, before he rises up to his full height, staring venomously down at the smaller Glabro while adopting a wierd, pin-straight posture that makes him look like a bat, his pointed ears laid back as he bares his teeth.

Laric watches the carnage calmly. It is only natural that Garou should scrap here and there. But one of them is raging like mad. It doesn't look like Laric should be even this close to the fight and begins to move back several paces more. He isn't old enough to handle this! But he does not show weakness and if he is called upon to make a judgement he will.

Kaydin listens...the purebreeding from this crinos intimidates him and he tries to use his rage as a crutch to not back down cowardly. Then he refers to Steve as a mere pet. He shifts instantly to war form and lunges after White thunder, intent on trying to rip him to pieces with his claws, roaring and growling as he moves with incredible speed and strength.

Mocks-the-Dark sees violence erupt and swells to his warform as he moves with the intent of being between the naked frightened kin girl and violence.

Wolves shift, control is lost.. and the nude kinfolk doesn't bother to try and put the offered shirt on. She's just /gone/, hauling ass as close to the opposite direction of the brawling garou as possible given the terrain. -Screaming- bloody fucking murder as she goes, lacerating her soft, uncalloused feet on the rough ground.

Julius is surprised and appalled when the unintroduced Glabro freaks the hell out on him. It's a sign of weakness not to be able to control yourself, and as Garou age their ability to resist the frenzy increases, so clearly this one must be not much more respected than he is. The Philodox is experienced in Garou fighting, but the first claw from Kaydin scores bloody lines across his muzzle, and Julius lunges under to bite the Ahroun's throat, snarling. He tries feebly to bat down the next assault of claws, but Kaydin tears his belly open, muscle and flesh peeling away to reveal the clear internal wall, barely keeping the Shadowlord's guts in his body. His yelp means he loses his grip, scratching feebly with his fangs at the other Garou's throat even as the blood courses down, significant damage from the other werewolf utterly ignored in his seething frenzy, while Julius is nearly down on his knees.

Red Wolf comes in from Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

Mocks-the-Dark rushes in to try and subdue the frenzying ahroun, his balled up fists not strong enough to bash through his -intense- frenzy.

Whitethunder spits, a gob of severed flesh that used to be Kaydin's throat bouncing off the Ahroun's hide as he goes down. Julius just *JERKED* away from the Frenzying Garou's body, yanking the inside of his neck onto his outside... And Julius can't hold back the triumph inside him. He rocks his head back and HOWLS, shattering peace for miles around. Still holding his guts in, though, blood leaking around his massive fingers, his amber claws gripping the flesh where Kaydin tore into him.

Kaydin attacks the one who comes in, slashing his claws as he is then throated and is bleeding on the caern floor. He is no longer frenzying and now seems to be mostly dead.

Chases-The-Wind is en route to tackle Kaydin when he goes down. He wasn't going for anything lethal. Just enough to keep people from dying IN THE FUCKING CAERN of all places. So Kaydin's down and he continues his motions to the man, dropping to one knee. "Hang on, Brother." He drops a hand to the man's throat and whispers to the spirits.

Vicky is just hauling ass -away-. Hearing the howl, she doesn't even bother to look and see who won, she just ducks her head and tears through the underbrush. Running like this, she ran out of air for screaming, and just pants open mouthed.

Laric watches the carnage come to a bloody end. Kayden is on the ground in a bloody heap, "I think that we can all agree that what has transpired here cannot go.. unaddressed. This was not mere fisticuffs scrap and disagreement. The defeated has transgressed against the victor there. His victory alone proves his innocence, even without we witnesses to support him, but all of that aside we all know that grevious injuries against our way of life have been committed. To attempt to kill another of our kind without just causes is.. abhorrent to say the least. But no one here possesses the authority to pronounce judgement at this time. I have only recently arrived in this city, but as a judge among my tribe, I cannot ignore this violation. Who needs to know about this?"

Red Wolf pads into the clearing, the sound of the battle's climax and the howl of resolution warning him of what to expect, nostrils flaring as they follow the scent of blood in the air. The sight of wounded Crinos confirming it all. He lingers along the edge of the clearing for a bit assessing the situation to see Vicky bolting.

Whitethunder gives a chuck of his chin towards Laric. "You should adress the totem-pole in the Caern. The Grand Elder is often there, and his Deed-Name is inscribed on it. A Child of Gaea elder of great reknown." Julius pauses to watch Chases the wind, nodding gratefully "I am glad you have The Mother's Touch, Chases-the-Wind-rhya. He almost killed me, I had to react with force. Will he live?" Julius whines and lowers onto his haunch, then falling back on his ass and grimmacing. "Someone please guard my mate? I'm... injured."

George nods and shifts back to human form, still fully dressed and starts making his way quickly and quietly after Vicky, nodding to Whitethunder as he takes off

"He'll live." That's Bryan. "George? Make sure Vicky is okay?" He eyes Julius. "You're next. Just hold still. She is safe." But he's already off. His gaze shifts over to WT and he rises to his feet, moving in that direction, bloody hands held outward to show they're empty. "Peace, brother. Let me heal you."

Vicky is gone. Feet torn to shreds on the rough terrain, stumbling, bouncing off trees. She's not exactly the best at running on rough ground. And that whole naked thing makes for bruises and scrapes in interesting places. She's not stopping til she takes a tumble and can't get up - because that's what fucking panic does, even immune to delirium as she is.

Whitethunder is actually quite calm. He hasn't felt this calm in a LONG time. He gives a nod to Bryan and half-smiles, his ears flicking out to the sides and then perking back up again. He didn't lose himself to the rage, and now that he's not in combat, he just looks beaten. The metis remains on the ground, holding himself together, and moves his hands gingerly away to reveal the gnurled fur and viscous flesh, the abdominal wall okay, but the skin and muscle peeled off it, little perforations oozing his internal fluids out and blood everywhere, the Garou body trying valiantly to heal it. It'll take days on its own. "I'm not your brother, Chases-the-Wind..." he lilts his head to the side, wincing, his crinos voice going soft "But thank you."

Laric nods, "I imagine that, considering where we are right now, that there is more than one elder on his way even as we speak. Since no one heard me announce my presence before, I am Laric Petrov, a judge of the Shadow Lord tribe. Even in spite of this tragedy, it is an honor to meet all of you... except for the dishonored that lies there bleeding out his sins." He scoffs at the site of Kayden, "Disgusting. I would never have run from this scene. It is my duty to stand witness for one day I will expect the same out of my lessers. If I can assist further in any way, please let me know."

Red Wolf paces back and forth a bit before letting his nose lead him closer slowly, testing the scents in the air to note anyone familiar and those unfamiliar.

"Here, we are all brothers." Bryan rises from Kaydin's side and moves over to Whitethunder, kneeling, glancing briefly up at Laric, but saying nothing. Hands fall over Whitethunder's bloody skin and he repeats the little whispered call for the spirits to allow him to heal.

Whitethunder GASPS and cups over Bryan's hands, his amber eyes big and round and shocked. When the man's hands are removed, he scritches at the area, healed as if nothing ever happened. Even the nicks in his muzzle are basically gone. SUPERB healing from the Coggy packleader.

Whitethunder SLURPS Bryan's face. "Thank you... 'brother'." The word is teasing, but the affection is sincere enough.

And now come the sept elders. They charge through the crowd that has gathered, pushing people aside. "WHAT is going on here?"

Eventually Vicky is felled by a clump of thorny vines. Shoving her itty bitty self -through- the brambles, she tangles a foot on one of the spiked tendrils and tumbles into a slight dip, panting and bleeding from dozens of scratches and her torn feet, completely unaware she's bawling like a cub.

Laric bows his head low as the elders pass him. The Shadow Lord waits for someone else to begin the retelling of these events as he was not there at the start. He only saw the rage which started the fight.

Red Wolf jerks his head up when the Elders rush in, instinctively bolting to the side, out of the way where he begins to pace back and forth to listen to the explanation to come.

Whitethunder rolls onto his paws as the Warder and Grand Elder come, possibly the Rite Master, too. The Cliath metis, pads towards them on all fours, raising to standing as he comes within range of touching. A submissive bob of his head, but his posture otherwise prideful. "I howled my introduction yesterday. This..." Julius sniffs, wrinkling his nose at Kaydin "Urrah... lost himself to the wyrm over an argument. I stood in challenge of him for mishandling my ..." he mumbles 'mate' and looks around sketchily "And in our staredown he let the Urge overcome him. Chases-the-Wind-rhya came to assist me just as I throated him."

George actually has survival training and isn't naked so he finds it easy enough (and much less uncomfortable) to catch up to Vicky. Still moving quietly and carefully he crouches near her and just says softly "You can stop running, you're safe now."

"If you want to fight me in a fair fight I can mop the floor with you." Kaydin growls as he had shifted to homid to glare at the man. He turns to the elders and sits upright. "I sent a rat in to stir him and his mate while they were busy rutting in plain sight. He then promptly ate the rat and when his mate came out to puke, I lifted her up by the scruff and requested he come out. He teared the tents to shreds and attempted to stare me down. He then made the comment about how I shouldnt send my PETS in. That rat was an ally I found, and served as a conduit for my totem. I lost myself to the rage because this mongrel wouldnt back down." He says, gesturing to Whitethunder with a chin

Laric remains silent as he knows that if his testimony is at all needed, the elders will ask, a lesson learned in his youth. The Shadow Lord is eager to suck up to his betters but his urges are stowed for now.

Red Wolf paces along the edges of the gathering, paying attention to the pair in question, letting the Elders do what they do, wondering who is going to get a smackdown, if any.

No more running for the kinfolk. Just rolling over enough to curl into an equally itty bitty ball on her side and hug herself while she cries. Muddied, bloodied, scared witless by night terrors made manifest... it'll be a cold day in hell before Vicky lets -anyone- drag her Glass Walker ass out of the city to go /camping/ again.

And what do the elders do? One of them stalks right up to Kaydin and promptly catches him with a left hook. "SHUT UP." Dislocated his jaw there, looks like.

A vicious SNARL from Julius, who stands upright, his Rage returning as he crosses his arms over his massive chest, standing up pin-straight like some kind of wallachian vampire. "*I* am Julius 'Caesar' Whitethunder, Judge born of Garou, Cliath of the Shadowlord Tribe; Grandson of Yurgei Desparov White-Thunder, Shouts-Down-The-Storm, Elder of the Shadowlords, GREAT HERO of our People and eviscerator of the Thunderwyrm. How *DARE* you call me a MONGREL you snivelling, flea-infested sack of fomori shit! I was in my DEN when you invaded your little -rat-, you pig-sucking child of a rabid bitch, and when I HONORABLY challenged you you FRENZIED and FELL TO THE WYRM." Julius trembles, livid, every hair on his body standing on end, even the ruff on his chest puffed out. Chastized by the strike to Kaydin's face, Julius drops down onto his haunches and hangs his head, brooding, seething, looming, dipping his skull again submissively and rolling his neck to exposure in lupine appology for his outburst.

Chases-The-Wind has fallen quiet. His job is done. He would go and find the kinfolk, but not while the elders are conducting business. He doesn't even shift. He sits. He waits.

Laric continues to remain silent. His own pure bred lineage for now remaining untold. Now is certainly not the time for it anyhow. His neck remains craned in submission to the elders. If he was in his lupine form he would be on his back.. shamelessly bathing in dirt.

Red Wolf growls when the Cliath gives his proud outburst, proud or not, he should keep his trap shut right now.

George stays crouched a couple of feet away from Vicky and frowns as he looks over her condition. "I need to get you back to the caern for healing, that means I need to carry you. okay?" He speaks carefully, in low even tones, not wanting to frighten her further.

Kaydin gets his jaw dislocated and before their eyes growls as he grips his jaw and repositions it back in as his body begins to heal. For now he remains silent but he seemed to act as if he knew the outcome so he goes to get up and gather his things.

The elder draws back for another strike. "STAY HERE," he snarks. This is the most he's spoken to anyone all evening, in fact.

Timber Wolf moves to Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

Touched? Vicky mewls pathetically and curls into a tighter ball, hugging her knees tight to her chest, ankles crossed and feet flexed in a vague attempt to cover the vulnerable spots. If George tries to pick her up, she doesn't protest, just cries harder. He might also note the ring on her left pinkie is gone.

George does pick Vicky up carefully, gentle but persistent because getting her to medical treatment trumps emotional trauma currently. He moves carefully through the woods back towards the clearing.

Chases-The-Wind rises quietly to his feet and moves around, speaking very softly, "The kin is coming back. She needs healing," Reassuring eyes slide to WT as he skirts quietly around the business to tend to the kin

Laric turns around to see VIcky being carried back into the vicinity. He gasps and frowns, addressing Chases softly, "Even the most innocent has been touched by the devastation. Ancestors bless you.." He casts an angry glare at Kaydin again to reinforce his accusations toward him for all of this pain.

"Ah, good," the elder replies to Chases. "Heal her and bring her to me. With respect" - this part is addressed to Whitethunder - "I need her for a moment."

Whitethunder bobs his head again, submissively, to the Elder, remaining in his position on the ground at the... one of their paws.

Red Wolf slowly comes closer to the action in his pacing and circling. It might not be his battle, but any conflict is likely to inspire excitement in an Ahroun. Still, he knows to give a respectful distance to the Elders in their mood.

"The mate of the accused and his own tribesman arent exactly going to give their accounts without biase." Kaydin says as he puts his hands to the pockets of his coat.

Whitethunder narrows his eyes and turns his head to watch Kaydin, growing rage stirring him, prodding and poking at all his big candy buttons. The lip on the metis curls, showing fangs still a bit pinky and bloody from Kaydin's throat blood.

At least George is someone she knows and trusts. Even so, Vicky is still awful shaken up, even if she's smeared the worst of the tears and snot onto George's shirt and stopped crying by the time they get back into the vicinity of the conflict.

That? Was the wrong approach. This time, the elder doesn't just dole out an injury that will last all of three seconds; no, he picks up Kaydin by the throat, hauling him up a good two feet off the ground. "WHAT DID I SAY?"

George comes back into the clearing carrying Vicky right over to his Alpha, turning so his body is between Vicky and Kaydin's chastisement.

Laric bows his head once more as the elder man handles Kayden. He is not surprised at the Dishonored's lack of tact, but for obvious reasons his maw remains as shut as a forgotten tomb.

Bryan snags his discarded shirt in passing and nods to the elder. Now that he has permission, he breaks into a jog, shifting back down to his homid form. When he reaches George and Vicky, he drops his voice low, speaking quietly, gently, motioning for George to set her down on the ground. He falls to his knees in his human form, whispering for those spirits to once more heal through his hands. He, too, blocks Vicky's body from Kaydin's eyes. Not that he's looking. Soft words are whispered.

Bryan whispers "Hey, Vick. It's okay. You're fine. Put this on, okay? Let me heal you. You are safe. No one will hurt you here"

The shirt is taken and numbly utgged on

The elder is kind enough not to actually look at Vicky in her current state, but he does point in her general direction. "You. This one has admitted to his actions; what punishment does he deserve?"

Red Wolf notes the growing rage of the Metis, watching him closely as the Elders call for punishment.

The shirt is taken and numbly tugged on like a nightgown. Flinching when touched, Vic does relax slightly as the nasty chain-saw scratches from the vines wrapping and ripping are closed up. Just leaves her dirty and bloodied, but not bruised and banged up. Tugging the shirt about to try and make it cover more, she glances towards the Elders and tips her head, showing throat, briefly. Put on the spot while in a fucked off headspace, she looks from Whitethunder to Kaydin and considers, brow furrowing. A -KINFOLK- asked to dole out a sentence? No pressure. And surely no social pitfalls, right? "Two favors." she whispers. "One for opening the tent. One for loss of control." She might push for more, but.. if she pushes too hard, then she's vindictive, and she's too easy, then there's no regaining of face for following through. Retreating a bit after tossing her two cents into the mix, she slips into George's shaodw, peeking out around him.

Bryan nods to Vicky, offering her a reassuring little smile. The elders deemed that he bring her to them, but he isn't going to be brutal about it. He pauses to let Vicky speak and shares a quick look with George, then motions the two of them forward. He isn't going to make Vicky come out from behind George. He'll fall into step behind them, hopefully giving her a semblance of safety.

Laric nods softly at Vicky as if to acknowledge her bravery and apparently just sentencing. He offers a weak smile and watches to see how Kayden will react.

A nod from the elder, then-- oh yeah, he still has Kaydin by the neck with his other hand, but at this point unceremoniously drops him back to the ground. "See to it," he growls, before turning and stalking off once again. Interrupt /his/ evening with this nonsense, will they?

Whitethunder looks up to the elder who's feet he's sitting at, a questioning look, and glances back and forth between him and Vicky.

Kaydin is dropped and once he stands back up he just scoffs as he watches the people present. "You know I wouldnt have frenzied if he didnt try to start shit to begin with." He says, trying to make atleast his side known.

George doesn't twitch out of Vicky's way, only moving to keep himself between her and Kaydin. Crossing his arms over his chest he frowns as he watches Kaydin carefully.

Vicky stays right between George and Bryan, not looking at anything but the ground near her feet, absently brushing a few pine needles and such out of her hair with her fingers - the combing motion self soothing.

Whitethunder whips his head over towards Kaydin and SNARLS, lurching to his feet and baring fangs and claws, still in Crinos. He almost... almost loses control, foaming saliva dripping off his bared teeth. "ACCEPT YOUR DEFEAT ... You... ignorant..." seething, snarling, Julius wrinkles his nose and spits on the ground. "Brainless, wyrm-fucking cub. Utterly without honor..." Julius looks Kaydin up and down and snorts. "You're worthless. I'm better off eating grubs than wasting my time on you." He whirls and pads back those two steps to the elder, his fingers creaking and cracking as he growls "May I return to my mate (inserts the name)-rhya?"

"Just because your grandpa was a hero doesnt mean you arent a sack of shit yourself." Kaydin growls back to Whitethunder.

Bryan doesn't touch Vicky. He stands off to her other side, keeping Kaydin clear from her. He cannot help but roll his eyes when Kaydin CONTINUES to speak.

Laric places his hands behind him, crossed at the wrists, and bows as the elder begins to move once again. Julius's outburst justified in his mind. Kaydin speaks out of turn once more and Laric winces as he awaits the elder's wrath.

Red Wolf leaps in front of Kaydin with his last words, in all the ferocity a true wolf inspires, enough is enough, "BACK DOWN! YOU HAVE BEEN DEFEATED FAIRLY!" his snarl sounding out. "NO NEED FOR INSULTS TO CONTINUE! SHOW SOME HONOR."

The elder, meanwhile, has stepped away. But only for a moment; judging by his stance, he's going to be back shortly.

Kaydin remains silent as he begins to leave now.

/Oh no he doesn't/. One of the elders, while not actually piping up, promptly moves to get in his way.

Vicky flinches and shrinks a little closer to George's back, completely hiding behind him, fingers kotting up the cloth of the t-shirt at about belly button height, twisting and pinching the fabric nervously.

Kaydin watches as the elder gets in his way. "I am acknowledging the punishment, and leaving. Going back to the city." He says, waiting for more to be sai and done.

Laric shakes his head as Kaydin continues to speak out of turn. The Shadow Lord glances at Vicky who looks as if she is going to explode, and Laric cannot help but wonder why Kaydin, a Garou, could not see the folly in addressing an elder even assertively, while a kinfolk could see the wisdom of silence.

George is standing with boneless readiness and relaxed confidence. Letting Vicky hide if that's what she needs and otherwise watching respectfully and staying quiet.

Bryan is in much the same position as George, his gaze shifting from one person to the other as they speak

Kaydin just sighs. He then begins to move back to the group before walking away from them so he would be able to hear them.

Whitethunder shuffles a bit closer to the knot around the kinfolk, and then closer still, and then just slinks over there in his loping all-fours stride to try and nuzzle between George and Bryan to 'his mate'. That, right there, that's something to bitch about. Metis don't get to take mates, and a Shadowlord with Glasswalker Kinfolk? Even Tom said 'all the Glasswalkers should take a piece out of your ass' for that, but no one has yet challenged Vicky's decision or Julius' pressure, so... Winning!

Red Wolf's fur remains bristled, teeth bared in a deadly display of ivory toward the fellow Ahroun, even inspiring fear, it appears a Ragabash possesses him. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that this Fostern means business. Respect your elders. If no one else is going to say it, he sure as shit will show it and give reminding.

George is totally cool with letting Julius get closer, as long as Vicky seems cool with it. That's not who she's being protected from.

And the elder who was bossing Kaydin around earlier - not that /that/ worked very well - is back, this time toting a bat'leth. Klaive. Whatever. "HOLD HIM STILL," he intones, fingers opening one by one and closing again around the handle.

Kaydin moves to the elder and when others come close Kaydin snarls at them as he approaches the elder, ready to accept the punishment.

Bryan watches Julius sneak over and offers him a little smile. He starts to move to the side, but then spies the elder and moves in front of Vicky, blocking her view of what is about to happen, without interfering between her and Julius.

Laric half smiles as Kaydin is readied for his punishment. The Shadow Lord takes great pleasure in watching the lowest brought lower, especially since said lowest attacked one of his kin, and that is unforgivable. Laric only wishes that he was the one carrying out the sentence.

Hold him...? Vicky peeeeeks around George and spies the blade. Oh! Biting her bottom lip, she turns a little to stand back to back with George, tugging on one of Julius' huge ears when he gets close enough. Not a big hug or anything in greeting, just that reserved little 'tugtug', fingers massaging the thick leather of the eartip.

Whitethunder cups his huge hand under Vicky's bottom and pulls her tight against his torso, facing away from Kaydin and all that messiness. The Cliath Shadowlord is still the size of a small shed, so blocking Vicky's view is easy. His gutteral words are fluent First Tongue, which happily Vicky understands, "I told you penis waving was going to be inevitable, Robs-the-Senses. I know how to show throat, though, and the Litany protects those who abide by the way of the wolf. A great problem the Urrah have is in understanding our culture, because the Red Talons, the Get of Fenris, the Shadow Lords, the Silver Fangs, the Silent Striders, the Black Furies... even the Stargazers follow the ways of the Nation. Even the Pure Tribes, the Wendigo and Uktena know and respect the ways of the wolf that are the foundation of our culture, but the Bonegnawers and Glasswalkers have difficulty, being so entrenched in the cities, with learning our ways. Many Cliath Urrah are completely ignorant of what a challenge even is, in the same way that other failed to recognize my meeting his eyes as a challenge, and was surprised when I called him beaten..."

Oh, /now/ he's going to hold still. It's about damned time. Without preamble, the blade whistles through the air snicker-snack, the tip catching Kaydin square in the vocal cords. With that, the elder turns away, handing off the klaive to one of his fellows-- then whirls straight on Laric. "HOW DARE YOU SMILE AT A TIME LIKE THIS? ARE YOU HAPPY HE NEARLY BROUGHT SLAUGHTER TO OUR HALLOWED LAND? THE WYRM SMILES UPON US TONIGHT!" And hey, since he's on such a roll already, let's charge over and get in Whitethunder's face too! "And YOU! YOU KNEW OF HIS WEAKNESS, YET YOU WOULD PUSH HIM INTO IT A SECOND TIME?"

George gets a little wide eyed at the goings on and manages to not flinch when suddenly screaming elder right by his personal space. Keeping his post, stock still.

Laric is no longer smiling. Apparently the elder was more.. perceptive than he had anticipated. Another hard lesson learned that he will not forget. His fellow tribesman is also chewed out. The Shadow Lord bows his head low, Laric is again humbled, and knows now the difference between a Caern ruled by one of his one kin, and one ruled by another tribe. No special treatment here.

Kaydin feels the cut to his vocal cords and while he grunts from the pain, he doesnt move, he doesnt flinch when cut. He remains silent. When the elder however goes off on the others, it takes all the gnawers willpower to keep from smirking at them. But he manages to keep a neutral face.

Bryan straightens as the elder gets all up in their grill - Kind of. He holds himself still by sheer force of will, assuming that he isn't in the way of the elder. Holy. Shit.

Red Wolf calms when the elder takes over, having made his point known. Lingering close behind the fellow Ahroun.

Nice and warm and furry and not having to watch. That's not such a bad place to be. Until that Elder comes and turns on Julius, she's okay. As soon as the Elder rounds on the Metis she is trying to chase comfort from, her kees shake and she tense, fingers knotting in thick wolf pelt until it probably hurts a bit. It's more than she can handle - what with -everything else- going on inside that tortured head of hers. Hiding her face in Whitethunder's fur she pisses herself like a frightened cub, completely fucking cowed by having the Elder yelling so close to her.

Whitethunder drops to his side when the Elder raises voice at him and lifts his hand up, covering his eyes with the back of his hand and digging his claws into his palm. No words, just showing throat, nearly on his back with his leg lifted faintly in the air, even his toes curled up tight.

Whitethunder is okay with laying in Vicky's pee, too. Not that big a deal.

The elder rubs his eyes, looking around at all and sundry. Is he /finally/ done here? Good. "/Get out/," he tells Kaydin, before turning and stalking off again himself. Better things to be doing, and all that.

Laric is glad now that he isn't in fact older than he is, for had he been a higher rank, an older wolf, being caught smiling at a sentencing would have caused him to fall much further. Of course now the elder knows that he doesn't like Kayden. Future transgression on Kayden's part will certainly not result in Laric being consulted as far as a punishment goes. Damn. A lost asset is a lost asset. A foothold lost.

Jules rolls over and Vicky leans back against George's back for a minute until her legs steady. Never. Camping. Again. The only thing she wants right now is a motherfucking pint of Chunky Monkey, her huge spa tub, an xbox in the bathroom, and a fifth of Absinthe. She'd show these wolves to relax after a shit day!

Red Wolf moves out of the way when Kaydin is dismissed, still having that agitation in his body language as he moves off.

Kaydin gets up and walks off, throat cut so cant comment on how if Whitethunder is so great, how come he is in a puddle of piss. Still, off he goes anyway

Whitethunder can't hear Kaydin's thoughts so he isn't bothered in any way by the Albino urrah's invisible bitching. Instead, he waits for the Elder to turn away, tacit acceptance of his appology, and then he looks at himself, then down at Vicky, and rumbles teasingly "You peed on me. But I wrecked our tent. My gnosis is full, though, so let's go home. A quick bath, and then we can dress and leave. Do you want to bring everything home with us, or throw it out? The ring is in there somewhere..."

George offers quietly "I'll get it and bring it if you want to just go." he says aside to Julius and Vicky. Watching Kaydin as he goes.

Whitethunder nods quickly to George "Ayah. Thank you Mocks-the-Darkness-rhya."

Bryan relaxes as things seem to break up a little bit and he rolls his head about on his shoulders. So much fucking unnecessary violence. Really. He gives George a little clap on the back and breaks away a little bit. He'll worry about his shirt later.

Covered in blood, mud, now pee, borrowing that t-shirt... As bad as she wants to go home-right-this-fucking-miute and never leave again, the bath has a rather strong pull on Vicky. "Bath." she affirms with a rather -small- voice that is little more than a whisper. "No. Ring. Then bath." Gimme my coping mechanism! The way she says it not unlike a junkie mewling for their next fix.

Laric is over the elder's wrath now. He survived the entire affair well enough. Kaydin is far worse off at any rate. The Shadow Lord nods in Julius's direction to assure him that tribesmen stick together, even Shadow Lords, when such disputes occur.

Red Wolf moves off sitting back on his haunches as the speechless Ahroun makes his way out of the clearing, quietly watching the others gather themselves.

Whitethunder bobs his head, rumbling softly and coaxing Vicky again "Mocks-the-Darkness will bring it to us in the bath. He could track us with a head-cold right now. Come." He ushers her towards the cavern.

Whitethunder moves to Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

Vicky moves to Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

Kaydin moves to Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

George nods reassuringly to Vicky as she goes and moves to the tent wreckage, rummaging through it for anything salvageable, the ring in particular.

Bryan follows along to help. He doesn't know what he's looking for, but he'll help find it. "What's this ring look like anyway?"

Laric moves to Deep Forest - Mystic Valley

Red Wolf has no interest in hunting for baubles, so after a moment or two of watching them search, he gets bored and wanders off without a sound.

George describes the ring to Bryan as the sort through the wreckage. Mostly all that's destroyed is the tent itself, they start making sorting things out "Silver, three interlocking bands"

Bryan nods, carefully going through everything. Panties are set aside. Yeah. Move on from there. They're CUTE panties though. Rawr. Ahem! Not in the panties. He .. won't pat them down just to make sure. He unfolds the mat, carefully unfolds the blankets, being sure not to toss them about.

George goes through the remainder of Julius and Vicky's belongings with a brisk and totally non larcenous (honest) efficiency. Locating the ring tucked into one of the pillow cases. Then with expertise that has more to do with improvisation than being a burglar (at all) he starts packing up what he can after saying "Here it is."

Bryan nods, stopping the shuffling from place to place. Panties are tucked into the bedroll. Damn those heightened senses, am I RIGHT? HAH! Ahem. Things are wrapped up, gathered, bound, tucked, shuffled, shifted, placed into a neat pile - unless it's junk and he gets everything ready to carry over to wherever the 'bath' is taking place.
