Apollo nods his head, saying, "I have met Shaderunner, and will make sure to connect with him on this topic, as well." A smile plays over his lips, as he says, "Although I must admit, I've been looking forward to learning from you the moment I heard that you had arrived. I feel like we have much in common - and would be honored to spend time listening to the full ancestry at some point and recite my own, so that we may find our common ancestor." Ah. How Silver Fang of him.

"My line traces back to the great Tvarvich's, Yuri and Sophia, should they always be honoured. I am cousin to the Queen. I am certain with your House, you trace somewhere to the Tvarivich's, no doubt, also." But Alek nods to that, starting to crouch. He seems oddly more comfortable like that. Almost like a sitting wolf. He digs his hand into the dirt here and pulls a small handful up. Rubbing it between his fingers. "Another time, though, I am certain many here do not wish to be part of that conversation." He glances around again and then looks up at Apollo. "I am flattered, by your words, but you have no need to do so." A brow then raises slowly. "Perhaps we do, perhaps we do. But I have grown up in Russia, you here in the states. I find, sometimes, the learning here is softer." He does not seem to mean that offense, but he also does not seem apologetic for them. "What brings you here, Luna's Seer?"

Branton comes along the trails and tunnels into the living area and when he spots Aleksandr and Apollo he grins broadly. He also waves and includes anyone else present in the greeting but says "Perfect! I was looking for someone with strong lineage lore. Silver Fangs top that list for sure."

Apollo smiles, saying, "I am indeed cousin to the Queen, as well - and I'm sure we can find that connection, for being of the same family, I can trace to Yuri and Sophia, should they always be honoured, as well. I did grow up in the States - but my family was in Greece for some time... and Russia with the rest of the Clan before that. As for what brings me here... I saw this place in one of the visions I was Gifted. I saw that there was need for a Seer here, but I know not why, nor even if I am the Seer that is needed, for I have never seen my own future, per se, nor do I try. I see only what Luna shows me."

Apollo looks up at Branton as he approaches, an eyebrow going up.

Bryan Osborn comes strolling along, hands tucked in the back pockets of his shorts. He moves with a light step, not paying a whole lot of attention. He glances up and spots Branton and he just.. stops. He tips his head to the side. He frowns. Brows knit. Head straightens, tips the other way, brow goes up. Hands still in his back pockets. He looks back over his shoulder and then turns to peer once more at Branton. Well, no one seems to be losing their shit, so.... Bryan squints. Like WAY down. Squint. Heeeeeeeadtilt. Sigh. "Fuggin' kami," he mutters quietly to himself, then strolls on in further.

"It is a good lineage, you possess, then. Make sure you do it right." Aleksandr offers rather neutrally, though there does seem to be weight to those words, somehow. He lacks a Russian accent oddly, considering he says he's from there. A nod at what he says about his living places, but the interest really comes at the vision, suddenly curious. "A seer. I am assuming, by your words, you mean something more than a simple seer." Alek knows what he's saying, even if no one else gets the meaning of his words. "Many Theurges are Seers, by our nature, by our closeness with the spirits, the dream, but I once more assume you mean something more." He looks the man up and down once more before setting his backpack down and pulling out a small glass vial, filling it slowly with the dirt in his hand, as he presumably speaks to Branton. "What is it you need Branton Kholer? Exactly? And why? That is often more important than the what."

He barely notices Bryan's entrance until the man speaks of Kami's. That draws his attention to the man immediately, and he rises, smooth as an uncoiling snake, and turns to regard yet another newcomer. A bowed head goes the man's way, even without knowing who he is. "A Kami?"

Branton looks over at Bryan and grins "I'm Branton Kholer, kinfolk to the Black Fury tribe, Klaive-smith, Pyrokinetic, and Sorcerer-Shamman in the service of Hecate, the Mother of Spells and Lady of the Crossroads. And nope, not a Kami...just more than a bit of Fire Elemental in my heritage. Personally don't have a lot of specifics on it and Herself isn't sharing."

Then Branton turns back to Aleksandr and begins to explain "One of my most recent negotiations with Herself was for the spell to enchant a token that amplifies a garou's connection to their ancestors, its a proven design since I made one for the Den Father and he used it successfully. The spirit he channeled even comented on hearing the call more clearly. After we did that she mentioned that she could teach me to call on the spirits of Garou Ancestors and I had a few questions that sort of straddel the line between 'can' and 'should'. I've learned the meditations and just need names but I want to make sure I'm not giving offense before I try it."

Apollo shakes his head, as he says to Aleksandr, "I am a Seer - but not through Gifts. I gained my Ritename when, during the challenge that was part of my Rite, Luna gave me a vision of the Sept being attacked, the Defiler Beast taking and corrupting the caern through the surprise attack and resulting loss by the Nation. I left my challenge, making the choice for the Sept over my own vow to remain until I was done - to warn them. Because they were prepared, they repelled the attack and the Elders gave me my Ritename that day. I am subject to visions - especially when I touch people for the first time. It is not in my control. It comes as Luna wills." He then hears the comments made, an eyebrow going up at Bryan's words and then Branton's. I'm not sure Apollo's eyebrow can GO any higher without flying off his face and up to the sky, in fact. At Branton's words, he says, "If you are of the blood, and as Kin you are, then you have the right to speak with your Ancestors, but... you do not have the right to /compel/ your Ancestors. You may call to them, and they will answer if they feel you are worthy. To use Magics to compel them to answer or grant you knowledge... that is an insult to the Ancestors. To compel other spirits, while not often recommended to those who are not Garou... is certainly within the purview of Gaia and Luna's gifts."

SUDDEN MOVEMENT WHOA! Bryan pauses midstep and takes a little step backwards. Jumpy, he is. "Kami," Bryan agrees, nodding toward Branton. "Maybe I'm wrong. But you LOOK like a Kami." He wanders closer, head tipping this way and that and he reaches out, not TOUCHING, but coming close to doing so. Not quite into violation of personal territory, but not far from it, then he withdraws his hand. "Sorry. Um. Bryan Osborn. Chases the Wind. Adren homid Coggie Galliard, notable lineage all that fun stuff." When Apollo mentions visions upon touching someone, he takes a full step back. "You'd be surprised what sorcerers are allowed to do, my man."

The perceptive can see it, when Branton mentions his titles, Alek's lips curl downward, just a little at the corners, and then he catches himself. It's quick to even notice it was there at all. He says nothing though. When Branton mentions what he needs, he seems surprised, and once again not terribly sure he likes what is being said. "I think you will need to explain this to me in greater detail, Branton Kholer, what exactly you are doing that might straddle this line." Then a nod to Apollo. "Ah, I understand now. That is quite curious. I would like to hear more of these visions." A silence falling as Apollo speaks. It's difficult tot ell fi Alek's agrees or disagrees with the words. He's once more unreadable. Though he adds at the end of the man's words. "Some find compelling spirits to be tasteless at best, and a crime, at worst. Only in the most desperate of times would I ever even suggest considering this." Which tells you where he falls, not surprisingly. A glance at Bryan and then Branton before he understands what he means. "I would never have thought he seemed a Kami. Curious." Alek seems to concentrate on something not there, looking Branton's way, or past him. As Bryan says what he does last, he frowns. "Then one should speak to who allows them." He's not kidding.

Branton nods at Apollo "Herself has given me the right to call on spirits in her name and with her authority but I haven't sought spells to compell them for pretty much exactly that reason, seems rude as fuck. Just because I can, doesn't mean I should. Tao of Goldbloom. My next question is what's the protocol about inviting or calling on Ancestor Spirits I'm not personally related to? I haven't tried that yet, to be clear. It felt like something I should ask about first." Branton also nods to Bryan "Good to meet you." Then to Aleksandr "I don't even personally know who any of my Ancestors are. And from what I've learned most kinfolk can't even learn to be an Ancestor channeler. But when my Totem says to learn a thing? I damn well Learn a thing, even if I then have to spend a lot of time and effort on figuring out how to use it while avoiding heresy or treason. This isn't even the first time and that's probably why I get allowed the latitude I get that not all kin might. I'm /careful/."

Apollo nods his head, saying, "I agree... I have never compelled a spirit. Even when bound, they should do so only willingly." A beat, as he says, "Exactly... there's a difference between 'can' and 'should'. And yes, as my cousin says, it is indeed 'rude as fuck' as you say. As for calling on Ancestor Spirits that are not your own? They are not yours to call. Instead, call your own, and if they answer, they may bring others with them. Your Ancestors support heir descendants. But if you call others' Ancestors? That's once again compelling." A beat. "As for not knowing your Ancestors, THAT is something that can be rectified. Use your skills to put out a call to your Ancestors and see who answers..."

Aleksandr does not seemed overly compassionate to Branton's words. He still seems dubious, if he can said to be anything. "Even the most careful make mistakes." That seems to be all he says one it, but clearly it's the magic he doesn't seem to like. He tilts his head, letting Apollo speak, but he seems to shake his head ever so slightly. "I would disagree, Luna's Seer. We sometimes have need to summon the Ancestor of another, and if they come, perhaps they have reason to answer. There is a difference between compelling and summoning, and I am quite hopeful everyone knows this difference." Again, eyes land on Branton rather meaningfully. It's clear Alek possesses some prejudices he's not moved past.

Branton was about to say something when he comes up short and looks over to Apollo "You're brilliant. You know that right? I really don't like the idea of that sort of wide open general calling and I'd have to plan it super carefully. And I'd certainly want garou present when I made the attempt because if something goes wrong and something spirit side gets rowdy? All ya'all are better at solving that sort of thing than I am." Nodding at Aleksandr "I do. All I'm thinking is like this is sending up a flare, its up to the Ancestor to answer or not."

Journey walks into the Living Area, pausing as he sees people here, and looks around, walking over to a tent with a wolf sitting in front of it. The wolf immediately snaps to as Journey crouches beside the Lupus form, speaking quietly, and nods, rising, looking at the Tent for a moment, then looks around at the group and toward the Valley before moving over, looking at those here, a general seriousness about him. No customary 'Hello' or anything.

Apollo nods his head, saying, "I agree with the difference, but... it's interesting. I would not even summon the Ancestors of another, only my own line... but perhaps that's just personal choice and not overall moral compass." He nods to Branton. "That is reasonable. Just ask guidance of the experienced Garou around you. Theurges are especially useful for moments like these - and while I am one, I am still at the start of my journey. There are many more educated than I am." He looks at Journey, nodding to the Garou.

"Good." Alek nods firmly to Branton, seemingly finding that matter at a resolution. He doesn't like it, but he doesn't have a lot of say, either. "I could also find a few other ways to find your Ancestors than just a flare. We are capable of doing this for you, Branton Kholer, perhaps more delicately, as well." He seems about to say more, but he spots the quiet Silent Strider coming in, and glances to Apollo. "Shaderunner-rhya." He notes, motioning again to Journey and then bowing his head to the man. "Shaderunner-rhya, it good to see you." A nod to Apollo. "Perhaps. But there is many reasons the need has arisen. As long as you do not offend them, as you should not any spirit, there should be little issue."

Branton grins broadly at Apollo "And you make excellent points too. What about other Tribal Ancestors, Black Fury in my case, even if I'm not of their line?" Then Journey gets a nod hello. Then to Alek, Branton offers a grin "That's sort of why I came down this way, I'm working on gathering information before I try to summon or channel anyone."

Journey looks between them, "Oh were you in the Ritual Area or coming from it?" He asks, nodding to the Ritual grounds, just assuming the conversation was boiling from there or going to there.

Alecto comes strolling along in that eerily silent way she has about her. She has a small child on her hip, who is sound asleep, thumb in his mouth and she carries him toward the living area. Spotting the others, she meanders in that direction.

"And I am saying there are many spirits one might summon to glean their Ancestors before simply putting out a call and seeing what you find. Some of those Ancestors might not like you at all. Lineage is traceable by many spirits, especially as a kin. Spirits remember much, if not all." Alek's sort of warns in the direction of Branton. "I could take you to some, the first of which I might start with is Pegasus, for instance." Then Journey speaks and gets his instant attention. He's not sure who he means, but he lightly presses finger to his won chest. "I was simply doing rounds, giving out food, seeing how the kin are." He does that a lot. Then he turns to the other two present for their answers. His gaze noting the entry of Alecto, almost speaking before he notes the baby, instead bowing his head silently her way.

Branton nods at Aleksandr "I'll also be consulting with my tribe's theurges as well of course. Pettitioning Pegasus directly is a good idea though." Then to Journey "I was sort of meditating near by there. Got a thought and went looking for someone to talk it out with."

Journey looks to Alecto and looks puzzled for a moment, then tilts his head at the baby, smiling faintly, then looks back to Apollo and Aleks and as Apollo heads off somewhere he looks to Aleksandr, "Good kid, dealing with his Visions. Look Aleksandr, really, this is a conversation you have around a fire, poking it with a stick, debating, c'mon there's an image to keep up here." He's just.. juuuust light enough to be joking kinda. He looks to Alecto again and sighs, gravely, "We need to talk."

Alecto dips her head politely to Aleksandr and rocks the little boy in her arms, swaying just a little bit. It seems natural for her, even though she's a lupus, to stand like this. Her olive skin contrasts nicely with the pale, freckled skin of the little Fianna kin. Her dark hair mingles contently with the brilliant copper of the little one. The child is about four or so, and his cute little thumb slips from his mouth to rest on Alecto's chest as she moves up to fully join the others. "He told me that I was old. I said I couldn't possibly be more than twice his age and we got into an argument that led to a tickling contest and too much sugar." She states this as if it were IMPORTANT, and the little boy raises his head and peers at Alecto. "Still old," he mutters and she grins. Here comes mother, though, hurrying along and stealing the child back from Alecto. "Sorry, sorry," she murmurs and hurries off. Alecto, with her arms free, takes a moment to adjust her clothes where the little boy rumpled them, wipes a bit of drool off her collarbone and she nods. "You lead, I will follow."

Alecto also waves to Branton

"It is how I helped Ildar Soskavit trace his lineage." Aleksandr gives another little bow of his head to Branton. "But I would be most interested in watching over whatever you decide." Then a confused look gets thrown Journey's way. Journey should know Alek misses jokes a lot of the time. "I'm?" He pauses, his lips closing, still trying to work out if Journey is serious, or not. But it's all kind of distracted from with what he says to Alecto, brow raising a little, as his eyes return to the Truthcatcher. He blinks a little at what she says, surprised and once more a little confused. So many things to learn yet and always a reminder. He's silent now though, with the two Elders talking and doing so seriously.

Branton nods at Aleksandr "I'll ask Mercy's Messenger, I don't think she'll mind." THen he clams up as well. Time for realtalk.

Journey nods to Alecto and looks to Aleks and Branton, "Guys." He says, smiling to Branton and Aleks, friendly and open, nodding, "Really, I'm gonna say this with all the love of Gaia for the both of you." He nods to both of them, and then takes a breath, face falling into the Mafia stone hard expression,

"Leave. Now. Just anywhere else. And it's to be the very next thing you do. See you guys later. Goodbye."

He nods, and, order given, he turns, showing faith in them and moves to Alecto and nods, looking around before moving for the guarded tent, with a proper area of privacy.

Clearly, this is serious. Alecto turns with Journey and follows.

Branton turns and gets the fuck gone.
