- Homeless - She's great at finding a place to shower and wash her clothes, but when it comes down to it the girl is homeless.
- Rider - Fawn is a 'Railroad Rider', which is a faction within the Hollow Ones. Riders travel the country delivering messages, trends, teaching and learning Rotes from one clique to the other. She hitchhikes, hikes, stows away...whatever it takes.
- Sight - Fawn has Spirit Sight. Her eyes were opened when she Awoke, and now she can see spirits, ghosts, changelings...all of it. It took her time to realize she wasn't insane.
- Councilor - She's a 'sell-out' among the Hollow Ones, meaning she's a Councilor. The Councilors believe that the group should join the Traditions to take up a full seat on the Council.
- Goth - Most people imagine Nu Goths, Romantic Goths or Industrial Goths when they imagine a goth. Truth is there are dozens of different subcultures and subfashions within the culture. Fawn is a Pastel Goth, meaning while she listens to the old music, she dresses in bright colors, mixed with a macabre version of cute imagery.
- Styx - Fawn has a Familiar. Styx is an enormous black wolf mix that travels the roads with her and protects her. He's a happy dog, unless someone threatens his friend. Oh, he also talks.
