Key House - Chapter Room

Yay explorations. It seems Jasmine has taken the lead as she warily heads into the other room. Her vision adjusts once more, squinting for a few moments as she glances about and purses her lips. "Anyone see anything weird or out of place? Do we still have the candles?" Yes, she knows things, but is clearly absent minded about more important and practical things as well.

Lilian nods, "I only opened one taper, give me a moment." as she pulls another out, and unwraps it, then pulls out some paper and makes a clever hand protector by folding it just so about the base of the taper, then she lights it with a lighter, "I need to by more for the man funk in my new office some some coaches old office."

"I'm not sure if 'see' is the right word, but..." Teagan begins as she starts exploring the room, looking for anything of interest. "Nice carpet though..." she speaks out in the midst of her exploratory voyage.

The eager, young Hermetic snaps a few chem lights and gives them a shake. The room is quickly filled with a soft blue light as he starts placing the small, plastic tubes around the room to spread their illumination. "I got it," he volunteers and walks around the room to continue spreading the artificial light. "Looks like a meeting room," Marshall offers a bit of an obvious observation. "Does anyone feel anything weird?"

Lilian hmms and shakes her head, "Not yet but who wants to scan the place and with what?" looking to the others, "This place is like sooo strange, and element 31 is Gallium, used in allot of tech now, not sure what the mystical uses are for that."

River follows and searches closely CARFUL not to touch anything like statues as she looks for any passages, traps, or anything the casual eye might miss.

Lilian does a weird bit of wording in some old language old Ancient Egyption, then with a sigh. "Nope that is not it, soooo, another sense. This is going to be spin the wheel."

Key House - Chapter Room

Lilian hmms, "Constructs mystical constructs it is called a living metal, it makes connections in tech, used in thermometers..." looking to all "Constructs." with a maybe face on, "A fluid living metal what else can it be used for there has to be more."

Marshall quickly tries drawing a rudamentary floor plan of the building and makes notes of what's been discovered and suspected in each of the rooms while Lilian does...something.

Jasmine is quiet for a few moments as she looks over the table and blinks. "There's no paper here at all. That is so weird." Of course, she's just stating the obvious at this point as she nods and continues to peer about. Deciding to be a bit more exploratory and tactile, she wanders along the walls, letting her fingertips brush up against the textures of the walls. Who knows, she might trip up another secret doorway or something.

Where did he come from, who knows. Merek walks into the room after a moment, and is wearing his badge of office as a Medjai. He has on his black attire with his roguish belt tilted, as well as some henna painted upon his cheeks. His flexion soft gloves are on, and he wears a shemagh which is adjusted to his lower face. He takes in the faces of all those there quietly. Is he one of the guardians of this place? Lilian might vaguely manage to recall some of his features that aren't masked a bit, and he seems to have some kind of divine aura which shifts somehow into any spectrum viewed outside of things. The umbra even sees him wearing a waving cloak with black outstretched wings from his back, feathered with sunshine-orange runes of the Old Kingdom upon them.

Lilian moves to the table and puts her hands on it and starts tracing numbers with her fingers. Then seems to focus on well hard to tell cause she is looking about like she sees something, but there is nothing happening really. She is still just moving her head and eyes like she is watching something or another, then "People were here like three days ago, and running away when the barrier like collapsed?" thinking "what Barrier?" confused a bit at what she is seeing.

"Presumably the barrier that kept this place hidden until it sort of popped into reality?" THat would be Jasmine, still running her fingers along various things along the walls, looking for texture and whatnot. "Or it could be the barrier in the lobby surrounding the dark inky blackness, but a serious unweaving would need to be done there." a beat. "You dont happen to know prime, forces, /and/ time would you?"

The young, hermetic apprentice, spots the arrival of the mysterious stranger (echo..echo...) and reaches for the bag beside him as though it held a weapon or some defensive tool. Are they under attack? Is this a guardian? He stands quickly from the table and wields...an ink pen. Hey, it was the first he found in his bag.

"Who are you?" he asks Merek.

"And here I was hoping for a dog..." Teagan muses as the mysterious stranger enters. "Either way, welcome to the Gang, I think we still have a spot open for Shaggy?" Still balancing on the chair, Teagan doesn't seem particularly perturbed by the man. "Well, whoever they were, running was probably the right idea." She responds dryly to Lilian, still rocking on her chair. Having fiddled with her phone for a while, it still doesn't want to seem to turn on and she lets out a sigh of defeat.

Lilian looks over, "Yes I know a very little of all three." with a sigh. "What you thinking?" then a look and nod to Merek, "You are looking well, I never remember you between seeing you." with a sigh. "I still do not like the coin faint energy in it could be something, and need to research the name of the Angel sigil on it."

Merek offers up a husky drawl, "Zoinks, I'm only using like five percent of my power," he says, then he looks to Lilian, "Lilian, ah... Poor woman," he crosses both his arms while he looks then to Marshall, "Percy Jackson," he offers with a bow of his head, and a motion of a hand, "Merek bani Shaea," he offers, with no annotation of rank. Mysterious for one that uses a Hermetic title, then he sighs from beneath the shemagh, "Goodness, I could sense you all from class," he says, with a wave of his finger in thought. "I know all Nine Spheres, if you all need any assistance."

"Imariel you said? I only know that angel name from the Dresden Files." So at least she's somewhat of a Dresden fangirl. Jasmine purses her lips for a few moments. "Do you think it might have something to do there, cause I can easily go outside and google it." There's a silly little smile on her features before she answers the question at hand. "In the lobby there is an inky black darkness. When I tried unweaving it before, I felt something sneeze on me. I bet whatever roared is covered by the black inky darkness, and I know that an unweaving can be attempted if you have knowledge of prime, forces, and time." a beat. "We might need more arts, but that's what I was able to ascertain." Then she listens at Merek. "Then you. Go and unweave that thing, if you know all nine?" She just likes putting people to work. GO GO GO!

Lilian levels a look at Merek, "Hardly poor, just found the right fit in spite of certain words from another." then with a little curtsy. "Lilian Handover, Initiate Exemptus bani Skopos ordo Hermes" with an almost winsome smile.

Lilian nods, "If we could pool and do it extended, but I am not a rite master...I have them all."

Oh, they're playing the name game. "My craftname is Carmen St. Germaine, Second Degree Adept bani Quaesitor." Jasmine decides to be all formal since other people are going. Pointing in the direction of the lobby. "More people working together might increase chances of success. I just have a feeling a dragon is there, so some of us should be backup." To run out of the building first.

"Backup..." Marshall volunteers quickly though he tries to find away to make it sound a bit more manly and masculine than it did.

"Teagan!" she exclaims from her comfortable position in the chair. "of Toronto." she adds with a snicker in response to Merek. Teagan pushes against table just a bit too hard and manages to knock the chair over, resulting in her tumbling backwards and landing on the floor with a crash. "Let's go..." she grumbles from the floor, hoping she didn't damage the chair too much.

Key House - Lounge

Merek offers up a little salute, then he moves to where the place is, while he looks to the others. He chants with his Enochian language, then he makes a motion with his palm after a bit, then he manages to defuse one of the Forces effects that were shifting the defenss around. It is not the full unweaving required, but it is a thing that is useful. He blinks a bit as he looks to the others, "Oh, my apologies, I was supposed to wait," he chuckles.

"..." It looks like she was going to make a few suggestions and then shrugs her shoulders. Jasmine looks nonplussed at the situation before she glances in the direction of the black inky darkness. Is it really gone? Looking for something, he grabs anything that's available in the area to throw across that threshold o see if she can see it land or whether it disappears into the ether like before.

As soon as Merek has worked his mojo, the threshold effect that was present before seems to have faded. The object, some hand-held thingy, sails through the doorway and is visible as it falls to the ground within the Lounge.

Teagan simply gives the man a thumbs up as he starts his chanting. "Well, you know what they say, time waits for no one." Teagan gives the room a look before furrowing her brow at a sudden jolt of pain from her back. Clearing her throat, she takes a step back and lets the professionals work their magic.

Lilian moves to lean on a wall, her arms crossing as Merek as Merek works it hard, and fast. "Ever the knight and protector, if you need a hand or a second pass on it all let me know Deary." with a grin over his sudden step up and protect all the little baby magi. "So Jasmine, you said an unweaving right on three spheres at once right?" curious about it. Then a look to Teagan, "You ok need someone to check your back?"

"Ah, there's still defenses, I just unweaved a Forces effect that was triggering defenses within the room," Merek offers, while he looks to the side in thought, "But, at least we can work safely a bit more," he adds. "I would use some assistance, sure," he adds.

"That's how it should work, but it's difficult magick, but he can do it, or you can do it together. Since he was so cavalier, I would not risk something happening like what already happened to us before." Jasmine advises, pursing her lips as she nosewrinkles and heads on over to the area, biting on her bottom lip. Hearing the yelp from Teagan, she looks back. "You okay?"

Lilian moves to step to Merek, "I will help what do you wish me to do, just lend aid or to do part of it for you?" she is new to combining and not the gun slinger he is, "Time, prime?"

"I'm fine." Teagan smiles, "I just need to stop falling over." With a chuckle she moves to sit down, crossing her legs. "I'd offer to help but..." She gestures to herself. "Verbena. You guys go ahead and do your enochian or whatever it is you do."

River is still recovering from the impromt awakening and going back to sleep of her avatar.

Lilian works it with Merek, she speaks in Ancient Eygption to work with his aid instead of against it calling on the right gods to aid her and him as she unweave it. Though her hand motions are more like she is unweaving something literally, Greek influences allot there. Her casting is oddly between a spell and prayer in sound.

Merek works alongside with Lilian to assist in the matter with the unweaving. He draws sigils as well as sings to the gods, something that isn't a usual thing with the Hermetics.

The resonance of Lilian casting is well, thought provoking and dynamic in the odd Greek styled hand movements to counter the use of old prayers to the older Egyption gods.

River focuses again and again the little sorceress awakens for a few seconds and then sends out a flow of power to those that need it.
