The Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area is on the 2nd floor of an older white building near the beach in Downtown. It's a bit of a bustle as mornings usually are outside, but inside, it's fairly quiet. Kind young people trying to make a difference in the world. It's clean, loving, and full of hope for a brighter and more verdant tomorrow! The beige walls of the rented location have the BBBS logo on it and the area is completely open with a simple desk at front working as reception. A young woman - maybe 22 - is sitting with her half eaten breakfast burrito next to her as she fills out some forms, the grouse of concentration upon her soft, round expression.

In the background is hustle and bustle from all three people still in the office. It's mostly quiet, but certainly most everyone's more interested in getting what they need done over inspecting ever ne'er do well who enters.

A quick change into that oversized suit of his stolen from a clothing line about a week ago, as he moves towards them his hair is down for once with it almost combed back in a slick fashion, as he looks around Davidson sighs softly. Moving towards the girl with a nodding of his head, and then he speaks softly."Hello miss, my name is Paulie O'Tool, I was a street kid once addicted to smack, and other such things. I have come here clean now for 8 years. I wish to help out a little dude, keep him off the bad path."

The young woman of mousy brown hair, dark eyes and just enough makeup to hide the most basic flaws looks up and smiles. "Hey, Paulie!" she says, extending a hand. "We're always on the lookout for new volunteers to help kids with trauma and in tough situations. Here," she says, handing him a clipboard. "Fill this out over there and get back to me when you're done. I'll let Greg know we have a new prospect!" She seems so happy to see you! So excited to see someone else trying to help the world and bring less misery into it. The chairs she points to are cheap and uncomfortable and there's nowhere to write except on your lap with a barely working pen dangling from a chain on the clipboard. It's that weird balance of attempting to flaunt with no money - trying to lure people of means in to help ensure they get rent for next year.

The clipboard is filled with the same pages printed en masse. The questions are simple. They ask for a name, home address, if you've ever committed a felony, if you can legally be anywhere near kids, if you're a sex offender, if you approve to having a background check and drug test, and what your work resume looks like.

The wallet is removed from his pocket as he starts to fill it out, using the name and address, all of it Paulie the man he met before coming here, he was able to talk the man into giving him all the info needed. As he fills it out with a little chuckle, lucky not a sex offender, he was a good upstanding lawyer, with a passion for being a prick to the homeless, he is going to be a great mark to lie these crimes down in front of that would soon be in the lap of this child, this was going to be a very good day, very fucking good. Davidson chuckles softly with a bite of his lip and then he starts to walk towards the woman to hand the paper work over, with a nod of his head.

The burrito hastily finished as you filled out the paperwork, the wrapper neatly folded and discarded in the trash, the young woman takes the paper and walks away to one of the few enclosed offices in the back. A few minutes later, a man, probably about 30, comes out. He's lanky, short, and his cheeks are hollow. The suit fits him well, but there's a look of tiredness and a scent of Rat about him. He coughs a bit to the side and with heavy, baggy eyes, he looks to 'Paulie'. "Mr. O'Tool? Right this way, please." He walks into the office and stands behind the desk. "Sit if you'd like. I have some candy, too," he offers. Sitting down, he reads the paperwork. "So far, everything seems on the up and up. Just gotta ask you a few questions and we'll see what we can do, okay?" he comments, followed by another short cough. "We at Big Brothers and Big Sisters believe in the future. Believe in kids. We want 'em to be happy and healthy. We want to make sure the lost have someone they can look up to. This isn't easy. A lot of the kids are already very lost. They're in need of help. Of love. So. You're a lawyer, I see. What kind of law are you into?" he asks, hands folded behind the desk as a naturally weary smile grows on his face.

"Yeah, of course I do criminal law. I defend those that need to be not in jail, I make sure the innocent are innocent. I refuse to take guilty clients at all. One has to know all about the power of helping at the root, making sure it is cleaned and healthy ready to bloom." The bullshit comes out of Davidson mouth slowly as he looks into the man's eye with a nodding of his head, his hand is resting on the chair as he shakes his head."No candy, I try to avoid such things, it is a sin in my religion very sorry good sir, it is my faith that keeps me clean." His eyes on the other man as he nods slowly, as he licks his lips slowly."But yeah, I wish to help you give them a very very bright future, I wish to teach them the right ethics."

"Mhm... Alright, so where did you go to college?" Greg asks calmly, writing stuff down as he continues the interview, listening with intent.

"I went to Harvard, I was in the top of my class." Davidson nods slowly ,as he leans back in the chair crossing his leg over the other one."I was on the rowing team."

"Tell me about your addiction. You've been clean 8 years. How are you feeling?" Greg inquires, looking to 'Paulie', sussing out paperwork, filling things in here and there on questionnaires, ticking boxes.

"I have been good, my religion and my desire to help other keep me clean." Davidson nods slowly watching the man with a wide smile."Things like this giving back, keep my demons at distance."

Greg nods. "I was stuck on pain killers. Had this nasty sickness when I was 11. Got hooked. Barely lived. Took years of therapy to get off, so I know the pain, brother," he says with a smile. "Alright. I'm going to do a background check, get some paperwork done, and we're good. Pee in this and put in on Lacy's desk up front. Testing guys are here today, so why not kill two birds with one stone?"

"Okay dude, I know what that is like." Davidson rises up with a little chuckle, as he touches the man on the shoulder."We all get sick, we all fall down right. But the strong keep going and I'm proud of you brother, for keeping clean." His voice is soft as he licks his lips again, as he grabs the cup with a little sigh."I'm go pee and then I'll be back. Run that check of course." With that he walks over to the bathroom, to fill the cup with his urine, he doesn't do drugs, one thing he is against.

A week passes and an unknown number pops up on Davidson's phone. It's from the bay area, but otherwise doesn't say who it is!

The phone is quickly answered it was the one used for crime and trouble not register to any name, one of those cheap Walmart phones. He steals one every month new numbers is all, and then he answers it quickly." Paul O'Tool."

There's a nasty cough on the other end, the sound of retching and then "Paul! It's Greg. We got good news. We have a few things to go over and then we can pair you up with a good kid. Mind popping on over? Lacy's got your welcome packet ready."

"Sounds good, sounds good." Davidson listens slowly and then he speaks softly with a shake of his head."Also I have a doctor friend, named Alexander I think can help you, if you want he is a private practice can come over to your house." His voice is soft as he looks right at Adrian as they were about to cause some havoc on the pier with a little chuckle."He can fix you right up."

A warm laugh on the phone. "Nah, I don't get paid that kinda money. Come on in. I'll get some cough syrup. See ya soon, man." he says before hanging up. When Davidson gets there, Lacy's looking worried, muttering on her phone, but otherwise, the place is the same as ever - minus the large black envelope with the BBBS logo on the front, clearly waiting for Davidson - er, 'Paul'.

"Okay then, thank you so much Lucy." Davidson reaches for it now, with a wide smile at her and then he looks around with a soft sigh."Now then, I was suppose to get Greg's address I was going to be sending him a present, for being so kind to me? His phone died before he could give to me, I was sending and paying for a doctor to help him get better. Your a good friend to him right, what's his home address?"

Lacy makes a slightly shocked face, turning into that professional politeness with a glint of 'I hope I don't get in trouble for being on my phone at work' look in her eyes. "Wow! That's so cool. Greg's normally kind of secretive. You two must have *really* hit it off!" she says, pulling out a note pad and writing it down merrily. She hands him the address and with the paperwork says "Orientation's next Tuesday, but he wanted to provide you a list of people. Said something about you being a strong influence. Anywho. See you soon, and thanks for doing this. These kids are good kids. You're a good man, Paul."

Davidson reads over the list now trying to find one to his liking, reading the blurbs till he finds one white kid, with abusive parents, he wants a profile something easy to mold. Something to turn into him, something that will enjoy the thrill of it, that will be able to do it. Smart enough to not rat him out, pun not intent we don't do that we have honor dammit, as he finds the right name Billy Peterina, 13 years old. He points to it now with a look at Lacy."I want Billy Peterina, he is very similar to me as a child."

Lacy nods. "Um... About him. He's kind of had a rough time with his parents. He's a bit of a delinquent. Are you sure you want to try him out? We normally don't give tougher kids like him to new people, but if he's in your portfolio..." She looks at it, slightly worried, then up to him. "He has a criminal record and known to have stolen from a Big Brother already. He almost got removed from the program."

"Lucy, I'll fix this kids life, I want to meet him today if possible. He is a very bad case, and we need to make it happen now." Davidson nods slowly looking right at the girl with a nodding of his head."I want to go meet him now, is that possible. I have done this with another group, and this is the kind I wish to help."

Lucy nods. "Well, yes. Just notify the proper contacts - his parents and him - via the numbers listed. We'll confirm it as well. You two can meet up your first time whenever's best after that! It should take about maybe a day," she says warmly.

"I shall do that thank you again Lucy, it is going to be so much fun helping out this younger one." With that Davidson in his suit and his disguise makes his way out the door, taking the paperwork with him. Sending off a quick text to the family, with a wicked smile."Oh little one you will learn, oh so much with me."

The parents - both clearly disinterested with a kid they've dismissed, seem alright - eager, in fact, given the delinquency of the kid. He agrees to meet you near a public park. He's young, sulky, angsty, and jaded, CLEARLY aware of what the world TRULY is like a proper pre-teen.

He walks up still in his suit and his eyes on the child now as he looks down at him with a wide smile."Hello there, I'm your new big brother, I read your file and your a fucking idiot." His voice soft as he shakes his head slowly, with a wicked little chuckle."I'm teaching you to steal right, how to con people out of money, how to truly be good at anarchy, wanna learn?"

The kid eyes the man with dubiousness. "This some kinda trick? I'm not going back to juvy for your kicks, your freaky fuck," he tells the man dourly, voice starting to crack, cherubic cheeks stuffed with ANGST. He's in browns and greys already. No gang colors, just enough to blend in. He smells of candy, though he's clearly not holding anything.

"Child, the lessons will keep you out of Juvy, maybe you're right? I thought you were the kid that wanted to get paid." Davidson leans down to chuckle softly watching the boy, as he looks down at him."Wanna make 1,000 dollars boy?" His voice is whispered into the ear, as he watches him now with a little chuckle.

The thought of THAT much money... "Well, yeah, who doesn't?" he asks. "Alright. I'm interested. Tell me more." he says, shifting to look at the well-to-do ratkin, the crunch of plastic filling his jacket.

Standing up, two or three candy bars fall out his jacket as he follows, the crunching of plastic all the more audible. "I can pick pockets, but I like stores. They're more fun. The cameras are a challenge to dodge," he replies confidently. "I mean, my parents aren't rich, but I just like the thrill of it. No one's home, so why not do something to kill the boredom, right?"

"We are going to best buy, I'm have them open case, you are to dig in and grab shit. I got a guy that can buy that shit, make sure no sensor on goodies, got it." Davidson watches the boy with a wicked little chuckle, as he watches boy."We are gonna be good friends, you snatch walk, snatch walk go it."

Billy nods and opens his jacket, dropping about $30 worth of candy bars from hidden pockets. "I'll see what I can get, but don't expect TVs or anything." He seems nervous, unsure. "You promise we won't get caught?" he adds nervously. "I really can't go back to juvy. I'll lose this and my parents'll kick me out."

"Well if your good at what you do. I'll be good at what I do kiddo, be quick and be fast. Stay stealth, got it. If you get found your on your own Billy, got it." Davidson looks down at the kid with a nodding of his head, with a little chuckle."Get me?"

Billy sighs and trudges onward to the Best Buy. Walking in there are cameras galore! Looking around, the kid seems nervous, but continues on, walking around, casing, pretending to be interested in a few things, but is mostly ignored like any other kid.

As the child is heading into the store, Davidson is moving into the back striping down slowly behind the dumpster, going rat mode to make it happen in quiet. He is going to find the camera wires here, and fuck them up good, as a mother fucker using his rat knowledge, his skills of the Aspect as he then starts to move away from the box now, and then he when it is done behind somewhere to change back and suit up. Heading for the door, to find someone with a key to the cabinet.

A soul-stolen man in a blue oxford watches disinterested from a job stressing him out for not enough money. The kid seems to be wandering around, looking at cameras and games and the like, though he does seem slightly focused. The tired security guy looks over to the kid, then shrugs, staying at his station.

"Hey, I need to get into this case, I need to buy a camera for my wife." Davidson yells at the man making chop chop claps with his hands, as he watches the man."Get your ass over here, and open this case."

Walking along the gadgets aisle, the kid seems to lazily be checking out some cables and cords.

Soul-Stolen employee seems to be droning about the different cameras, letting you see them. GOD he doesn't want to be here today

As Davidson holds each box examining it check it for security and it won't beep he makes little dot on it. The dot is from a small pen hidden inside of his wrist and the next step is breaking the lock. This is not his first rodeo, this kid is watching a master at work ,this is going to be a big payday, and making that kid learn how to do this.

"Well then, thank you young man. I will be back in a few days to buy it, also go fuck yourself and your shitty personality. May I talk to your manager please?" Davidson is glaring at the worker with a little smile, as he shakes his head."You are rude."

The tired clerk trudges away, going for the manager, another tired drone working here. He'll be gone for a few minutes while the kid sneaks behind you and slides the door open, grabbing a few cameras as he's running out of space in his jacket.

"We are done, get out." The whisper is soft towards the kid, as he hands him a little card with an address on it, is a pawn shop that buys stolen goods."Keep the fucking change it's all yours boyo?"

The kid walks out slowly, an HDMI cord falling out his coat behind him as he leaves. Something the cameras SHOULD have picked up, but instead it lies there unnoticed. Walking to the entrance, he looks more and more nervous. Will it sound on him? As he steps out, the alarm does nothing, and he continues, walking to behind the Best Buy, and collapsing in a nervous pile, a few thousand dollars worth of goods flowing from that jacket - mostly phones and cameras.

The manager comes over. An older man. Fairly distinguished. He should be in retirement, but by the looks of things, that's not something in his foreseeable future. He smiles to Davidson. "Hello. Name's Wayne. What can I do ya for?"

"Now then, your young friend here was bragging to me about being able to get free or cheap cameras. He was telling me of his scheme to sell them after stealing them, each time I told him I liked one he hide it." Davidson bends down bring the manger with his now showing him each blank spot in the case."He said for 3k, I could get all these cameras, he also said you were too old and stupid to care or notice." His voice is soft, his tone is moving with sadness, as he show him the other side of the case."The youth today, he had another person take them out, and he told me he turned off the cameras and the buzzer, you may wish to check that."

Wayne's face turns redder and redder, though his smile, already forced, stays on his face. "Oh! Well thank you so much, sir. We'll get right on that," and he looks over to the tired man. "Jason. I need a word," and almost forcibly drags him to the back. This is about to be a baaaaaad day for the poor clerk.
