People fascinate him, and as a new arrival, he’s trying to meet more.

Joel: Even so harsh, he’s kind. Still can't keep up. That might not have been wise, but life's dull when you're careful.
Simone: As kind as she seems. And gentle. That voice. I want to listen to her more.
