Goggen maintains some of the hallmarks of his Kith. He's kind, humble, not one for boasting. He disdains combat, as he always has, and does not kill unless forced to do so for his (or his crew's) own survival. Following the Accordance War he retired from service with Ronnie, his Nocker Wife who he married during the course of the war. Following their retirement they went...somewhere, for quiet solitude. When Ronnie was killed by a patrol skiff, confirmed by Goggen to be the ''Shadowfyre'', Yraltien ap Ailil's flagship, Goggen took his greivance to the Governor of Hawa'ii, who unilaterally dismissed Goggen for a lunatic.

Persons

This is a list of major personages the Privateers have met in the course of their travels.

Concordia

These are the Kithain that the PCs have met in California, specifically Prospect.

Roger Almsley
Kith Boggan
Allegiance Parliamentary Representative, representing the Kingdom of Pacifica
First Appearance A Hop and a Skip

Roger Almsley is a Boggan with a rather daring set of mutton chops. A cold and calculating Boggan, Roger is the middleman who hired the Journeyman to take a shipment of crates to Panama City and was met at the beginning of A Hop and a Skip. His allegiance is suspect, as he never gives up the name of his employer. However fingers could easily point to the Count of Emerald Dale given that by Roger's word the Journeyman serve the County on their mission. When the crew discovered that the cannons supplied by Emerald Dale were sabotaged, Tabin believed it to be Roger's work. Conn discerned however, through Backwards Glance, that Roger was not involved in the sabotage.

Roger returned as one of the courtiers in Governor Menehiron's Court in Oahu. Here, Roger was there to announce teh passing of the Seward Acts, a series of bills that once approved, summoned the Royal Navy to the Pacific and announced Concordia's expansion west across the Pacific - signalling his position as the Represenative of the Kingdom to the Parliament of Dreams.

Kingdom of the Feathered Snake

These are the Kithain that the PCs have met in the Kingdom of the Feathered Snake. This includes Mexico and Central America.

Sir Havrad Vega ap Gwydion
Kith Troll
Allegiance Caer Cullis
Location Panama City, Panama
First Appearance A Hop and a Skip

Not much is known about Havrad. Obviously the muscle of Javier's entourage, Havrad was met at the end of A Hop and a Skip when the shipments were delivered.

Ipsha
Kith Nunnehi
Allegiance Unknown
Location Unknown
First Appearance The Stowaway Side Job

A heavily tattooed woman with dark complexion for a spaniard, dark hair and lustrous red eyes. Ipsha was the person being transported during the events of A Hop and a Skip. As the Gwydion Three sought international waters realizing what they were carrying, Wick awakened Ipsha believing she shouldn't be forced into sleep. Attacking Wick upon awakening, Ipsha froze most of the crew before getting restrained by Wick. She then disapppeared with the crates of weapons that were delivered, infuriating Javier who believes the Journeyman is responsible for Ipsha's presence and the ultimate theft.

Sir Javier Argo ap Gwydion
Kith (Autumn) Sidhe
Allegiance Caer Cullis
Location Panama City, Panama
First Appearance A Hop and a Skip

Not your average Gwydion, Javier is a sworn knight in service to the Count of Panama. His autumn roots however distinguish him from other Gwydion, willing to get his hands dirty at times to perform a greater duty. Regardless what one might say about him, his honor guides his actions and there is no room for compromise. What that -is-? Is anyone's guess. Javier was one of the detachment who picked up the shipment from the County of Emerald Dale.

During the events of The Stowaway, Ipsha was awakened by Wick and stole the shipment of goods which turned out to be two crates full of high-powered weapons and explosives. The only one of the Gwydion Three not effected by Ipsha's powers, Javier attempted in vain to slay her. By the time he turned his attention to the Privateers, Wick and those on board were saved and the Journeyman escaped.

Dame Zamora de la Viriathus ap Gwydion
Kith Arcadian Sidhe
Allegiance Caer Cullis
Location Panama City, Panama
First Appearance A Hop and a Skip

Little is known of the fair knight Zamora, an Arcadian Sidhe who is as out of touch with humanity as her alien features would suggest. The true noble of the Gwydion Three of Caer Cullis, Zamora is the quiet, observant, immobile pillar to Javier's zest and Havrad's strength. She was met during the end of A Hop and a Skip but was not interacted with.

The Royal Governorship of Hawaii

The Royal Governorship of Hawaii is beholden to Queen Aeron of the Kingdom of Pacifica, held in trust by the Royal Governor. The Governorship is recognized by the power of the Dreaming, equating the Governor to the status of Count.

Baron Lennidd ap Eilunid
Kith Sidhe (Autumn)
Allegience Barony of Hightide (Maui Island)
Location Maui, Hawaii

The quiet and contemplative Baron Lennidd is Menehiron's Court Reeve, and also the only other (official) landholder in Hawaii. Given his position as Reeve, and control over Maui, Lennidd holds more power than people realize. However, whether due to blind loyalty or subversive tactics he remains loyal to Governor Menehiron. It is whispered that Lennidd and Yraltien are rivals, given their House history and that Lennidd is always on the heels of Yraltien. Nothing however has spawned from this.

During the events of A Spear in the Deep, Lennidd was given information by Conn that the killing of Ronnie was a ploy, be it by Yraltien or Agents unknown. This put Lennidd on the side of the Crew, however Cicada forced Lennidd to remove himself from Court - robbing him of his conviction and confidence, in the face of the growing outrage by the Menehune following the declaration of the Seward Acts.

Royal Governor Menehiron ap Fiona
Kith Sidhe (Arcadian)
Allegience Governor (Count) of Hawaii
Location Oahu, Hawaii
First Appearance A Spear in the Deep 3.1

Governor Menehiron is a partier. It is often said that Menehiron comes alive at parties, and dies at intrigue. The Court of Oahu is a hotbed of intrigue, given that Menehiron is the sole power of Concordia in the Pacific. However he is completely aloof to these intrigues, given the general rancor of the Menehune who remain on the islands and Prince Yraltien, who is doing -something- on the Big Island. Yet Menehiron maintains order, gets through Court efficiently, and hosts awesome parties.

It was Menehiron who dismissed Goggen's demand for justice regarding the murder of Ronnie, claiming him mad and dismissing him outright. Another reason people question his ability (or even desire) to rule. He is currently holding Simion, the monkey Pooka who killed Ronnie, as a prisoner following the events of A Spear in the Deep.

Nualla
Kith Eshu
Port of Call Fairytales
Location Oahu, Hawai'i.
First Appearance A Spear in the Deep 1

The Proprietor of Fairytales, a Hearth Freehold in Oahu, Nualla is a Grump. Many courtiers of Hawai'i find their way to Fairytales to enjoy the atmosphere, the stories Nualla tells at the bar and the general peace though there has been a surge of Unseelie patrons as of late. Of the Kithain holdings in the state, Fairytales is the only one that rarely hosts the native Menehune as it is rumored that Nualla has pacts with the native fae.

Nualla knows Tabin from his trading missions between Hawaii and California, the two Eshu exchanging stories and general tab-keeping. Fairytales was where the Privateers sought information on the Invictus.

Simion
Kith Pooka
Port of Call Oahu, Hawaii
First Appearance A Spear in the Deep 3

Simion is a monkey pooka who lives at Oahu. The almost archetypal commoner, Simion had little interest in Courtly affairs, the many intrigues between the Menehune and Concordia, the weirdness of Price Yraltien or any of the secrets resting under Hawaii's canopy. He did however have an eye for Dame Awais ap Fiona, Baron Lennidd's Chancellor and #1. The innocent naivete of Simion was used against him as it was learned that Awais, in a series of "love letters" written in Goblin Parchment, convinced Simion that their love could grow if and only if Simion helped her kill a 'traitor to the realm'. These letters led Simion to steal Prince Yraltien's ship the Shadowfyre and shoot down Ronnie, Goggen Ironfoot's wife, while she was fishing. Timand convinced Simion, upon learning this, to proclaim his good deeds for Menehiron's court to hear. Upon doing so Simion was imprisoned for violating the Escheat while everyone else blamed him for the rise of piracy, the emergence of the Invictus, all of which culminated in the passing of the Seward Acts - leveling the current climate of the Pacific on his shoulders.

Prince Yraltien ap Ailil
Kith Arcadian Sidhe
Port of Call Hawai'i Island.
Location Hawai'i Island, Hawai'i.
First Appearance A Spear in the Deep 1

Yraltien is a nobody to anyone outside Hawai'i. But for the natives of the Big Island, he is anything but. Hawai'i Island is almost 100 percent Unseelie, as Yraltien makes it an effort to drive out any stalwart Seelie presence from his freehold in Hilo. While the Privateers do not know much of Yraltien, he is an Oathbreaker - detected by Maggy and Erin when his warship The Shadowfire entered port, a yacht that to fae eyes looks like a live black sea dragon swimming in the waves. Tabin has made mention that Yraltien is a madman, but little else has been discussed of the Sidhe Lord.

Yraltien holds no position within the Governorship of Hawaii. He isn't even Menehiron's vassal. Yraltien is just an unlanded prince, a prince of what no one knows. Even without being landed or giving his fealty Yraltien holds immense power in Hawai'i, given that he controls with relative ease the entire Big Island with little reproach by Menehiron. The only thorn in his side is Baron Lennidd, who the Prince detests as being beneath him (as all Autumn Sidhe are).

The High Seas

These are the Kithain the PCs have met on the high seas.

Commander Goggen Ironfoot
Kith Boggan
Ship The Invictus
Port of Call Unknown
First Appearance A Spear in the Deep 2
Reputation Merit

Goggen Ironfoot is a Greybeard with a mowhawk with grey streaks of age tied in a braid in the back. Unlike one many expect a seadog of repute to wear, Goggen wears fisherman's clothes. Heavy shirts and pants, sometimes rubber overalls depending on how work is. However, in wartime, these clothes and heavy fabrics are made of Kevlar weave. He has one eye cataract'ed over and his right leg is missing. He has a real world prosthetic which chimerically covers the automoton-clockwork leg he has instead that gives him a jagged step. Goggen is famous among Commoners and Nobles alike. To Commoners he is a symbol of the citizen soldier, to the Nobles (depending who you ask) either a worthy adversary and a tale of common valor or a scourge.

When Ronnie was killed by a patrol skiff, confirmed by Goggen to be the Shadowfyre, Yraltien ap Ailil's flagship, Goggen took his greivance to the Governor of Hawa'ii, who unilaterally dismissed Goggen for a lunatic.

The Invictus has been campaigning in the Pacific ever since, sinking Concordian ships to deny 'The False David' access to the Pacific determined to force Concordia to submit so that he can give his Ronnie justice and return to whence he came. Following the events of A Spear in the Deep, the work of the Privateers, especially Timand, bound Goggen by oath to permanently beach the Invictus. He has done so, finally putting an end to the legendary campaign of the last commoner Ironship.

Tamar Salazar de Manikith
Kith Selkie
Ship The Creeping Star (ex-Captain)
Location Bay of California
First Appearance

Tamar Salazar is a spanish Selkie. He generally sticks to the Mexican coast, raiding and pilfering from cargo freighters or, if the gumption is good, from Kithain transports and merchanteers. He met the crew of the Journeyman as they returned from Panama City and engaged in battle only to lose, have his crew mutiny and leave him behind and take the ship. He is currently imprisoned at the County of Emerald Dale. Known as the Manikith as it appears his Kith seems to fluxuate from person to person, depending on who is looking at him and when. It was learned during The Prisoner Side Job That Tamar was not hired by any one person, instead following a rumor heard in "Haven" of a valuable shipment he sought to plunder.

Tamar has a high disdain for Concordians, much of the cause for his venture to strike the Journeyman was just as much prejudice as it was piracy.
