Introduction
Aisling 'Ash' Foster

Ash was not the easiest child in the world. Oh, she wasn't a troublemaker, per se, and she listened to her parents for the most part. But there wasn't a thing in the house that she didn't take apart and put back together again at least once and preferably twice or more as with repeated taking aparts came a chance of the item ever working again or even working better. Other little girls liked to play princess and dreamed about having a pony. Aisling liked to play outer space engineer and dreamed of having a hoverboard. Or a pony. She would have taken a pony too. Grade school was not an easy time for Ash, but starting in middle school she was transferred to a special experimental maths and sciences charter school. She loved it there, and excelled for the first several years. Unfortunately, by the time Sophomore year was halfway through, it was clear that she was not having the same progress as many of the other students, several of whom seemed to have made great intellectual leaps and were then moved to a more advanced program. She changed, becoming solitary, awkward, and some would even say sullen and foul-mouthed. She didn't graduate at the top of her class, but she did graduate (most people either dropped out of the program or moved up to the more advanced program). Her advisor suggested that she not go to a large state school, and so she chose Prospect, majoring in Engineering with a minor in Computer Science.

Stereotypes
The Others
Werewolf "I've heard tell of such things, but the last thing I want around my stuff is giant anger-fueled monsters. I mean, I'm not Tony Stark. Yet."
Vampire "Yeah, uh-huh, right. Go cry, emo kid. Seriously, they're real? Well as long as they don't fuckin' sparkle."
Mage "I don't know, I've seen people do amazing things. Things that I never dreamed of, and that's hard to do."
Wraith "Well, I mean, ghosts. Who doesn't believe in ghosts? And I'll admit, it's always been a dream of mine to make one of those containment units."
Mortal "People are... difficult. I mean, they have all these messy uh, feelings and shit. And like, expressions. And they say things they don't mean. Frankly, I prefer computers."

Contacts
Keir "It's like I was a dog and had been chasing cars forever. And now you're here, and I don't know what to do with you. Please stick around while I try to figure it out?"
Uriel "How could I have been so wrong?"
Dyson "Uhm. He scares me, frankly."
Alala "People are always unpredictable for me, but you just upped that by a factor of about a gazillion."
Rodrigo "When you're not pissing me the hell off, I almost like you."
Pali "Uhm, I, ehr, you, eh. Fuck, I don't know, you make no sense to me."
Mongo "You moved me into your apartment, practically sight unseen. You are the bravest motherfucker in the County. Or the dumbest. Possibly both. But what I'm sure of is, you're my friend."
Galen "Yes, yes, you're very pretty. But I never care as much about the outside of things as how they work. So what's below the surface of that seemingly shallow pool? Depths, or just a fucking mirror?."
Horatio "You, I like. Your friends? Not so much. What I really want to know is, why do people think we're together? That's fucked up and wrong, you're like, old enough to be my father. Sickos."

RP Hooks
General RP Hooks!
Aisling likes tech, all tech, in all ways. Need help writing some software, hacking some code, help with your car or other machinery, building a new computer system? She could use the job, frankly.
  • University
Aisling attends the local university, maybe you do too? They could be in a class together, or run into eachother on campus. She does not, however, partake in the party scene or the Greek societies. However, the Geek societies (anime club, Whovians, Browncoats?) You betcha! Recently she has been seen a lot at the Student Union, and is starting a Maker group on campus.

Fae RP Hooks!

  • Nocker
Aisling is a Nocker, so if you need something built or rebuilt or re-rebuilt, she's one of the people to go to..
  • The Ivory Clocktower:
Ash has been given a Domain, currently encompassing the Student Union building at UC Prospect. Interested in getting involved?.
  • House Dougal:
Though she doesn't have any titles that are known of, Aisling does wear the colors and symbols of House Dougal in her day to day life. If you're a member, you might want to talk to her.

Mage RP Hooks!

  • Son of Ether
That 'special maths and sciences' school that Aisling went to? It was a magnet school run as a project to try and recruit possible Son of Ether mages before the Technocracy could get a hold of them. Aisling of course never Awakened... she Chrysalized but they didn't realize that. Still, they knew she was something special and they might well send any Son of Ethers who are going through Prospect, or moving there, her contact info.
