The Block
Freehold
The Block district is centered on a meadow in the southeastern quadrant of Lion's Reach County. Consisting of the Meadow of the Well, the Lost in Time Market and the nearby Rhapsody Freehold, this small district is linked mundanely to the Rhapsody dance club via a rath found on the main floor. Currently under the protection of County hired guards who patrol both the Market, charged with keeping peace there, as well as overseeing the safety and respectful use of the small balefire left in the ruins of the former County Seat.
Lost In Time Market
The Lost in Time Market was conceived by Count Leras and Countess Ionae. The hard work and dedication from local allies, traders, and the local population (predominantly Sir Elassar, Ms. Aisling Foster, and Mr. Rodrigo Garcia) brought the market to life. The Market is overseen by the local nobility, namely in matters concerning defense. The day to day affairs are left to shop owners and though taxes are collected for County (and Duchy) coffers, the environment is especially commoner friendly.
Shops of Note
- A true prize in the market is the A'Voile Salon, owned by none other than the renown tailor, Aleksander Kholodov. He has also recently been appointed as the Craftsmaster for the County of Lion's Reach. Crafters are encouraged to visit him.
- Several stalls have been set aside to showcase some of the exquisite mounts that come from Steed's Crossing Ranch. The Countess and Count from time to time come to check on the area, given that it is the Countess' business.
