[ edit ] RP Hooks Animal Lovers: Joy runs a rather large animal sanctuary out in the woods east of Prospect, mostly for wolves, bears and large cats. It is NOT a zoo, mind. As far as most people know she just works there - the fact that she's actually the owner is a closely guarded secret. She's not the only person that works there, of course - maybe you do too? (Gaian Kinfolk and shifters only, mind.) Local Garou: Joy has in fact been a part of the local sept since the mid sixties. At first she was just some random kinfolk girl like any other, but somehow - she doesn't talk about the specifics much - she was handpicked by Gaia to serve as one of her Kami when she was sixteen. That was thirty years ago. She's mostly kept to herself since, running her animal sanctuary, but every now and then she stops by to visit. From time to time one of the wolf pups born at her sanctuary has ended up Changing, and she tends to drop them off at the caern for training shortly afterwards. She's had a couple of kids of her own over the years, too - if you're a local CoG Garou, she might even be your mom! Might be some weirdness there, since she still looks like a teenager... Other Gaians: It's not just the Garou that have animal kin at her sanctuary - the Bastet and Gurahl do, too, and she's quite well known to them. She's far more welcoming towards Fera than most Garou tend to be, too. Fae: Though she is no Kithain, or even Kinain, she's got extremely little Banality to her. She can also clearly see chimera. She also has rather warm hands. Wyld Mind: She can come across as a bit of a ditz sometimes. She's not stupid, just easily distracted! She has to roll Willpower (difficulty 4) for every extended action roll beyond the second. If she fails OH LOOK A PUPPY! Severe Phobia: She doesn't like going underground AT ALL. She doesn't have a problem with darkness or confined spaces as such, but the feeling of that much rock around her... eugh. Boo for caves.
