(Dated sometime in the last week or so). The story buried beneath the Charity work and 'good news of the day' fare that is typical this time of year. In an act worthy of the Grinch, a robbery turned deadly has turned the Holiday Season into a somber affair for the friends and family of Elvira "Evie" Adams. Co-Owner of the Artists' Guild on D St. and Fifth Ave. A painting was stolen and when Ms. Adams responded to an alarm being set off, shots were fired with deadly consequences. Police are looking for anyone who may have tips pertaining to the painting that was stolen, or the man responsible for Ms. Adams' death. ==============================================================================
