| Vertigo is a child of the modern era, where every kid grew up with a computer, internet, cell phone, and other devices that kept everyone connected and made the world a much smaller place. Every religion, culture, place, and idea was at her disposal and she always felt more like a citizen of the planet than of the United States. She could feel connections to people she knew strictly online deeper than anyone she knew in person. The world spoke to her through code, jpegs, media, and especially music. When she awakened, she found herself truly understanding and becoming one with the world, more specifically the means in which everything was connected. No longer was a phone just a way to send a text or hear someones voice, it was now a way to literally travel to that place and see it for herself. No longer was music just something she enjoyed and loved to dance to, but it spoke to her in new ways and opened up her mind to emotions and meaning of not only different artists but the cultures in which they came from. She realizes that everything is connected and nothing is truly separate.

| Devices such as cell phones, internet connections, and two way radios. Vertigo has grown up in a world where everyone and everything is connected and has always "explored" the world through the internet and other forms of media.

ENTROPY: Mathematics (Primarily probability and statistics)

| Vertigo has some basic understanding of the principals of entropy and chance, and has found that she is able to make accurate guesses as to outcomes by taking variables and inputting them into mathematical algorithms, usually using programs as she is not a math whiz.

FORCES: Energy Sources

| Everything in the modern age is powered by electricity, carried over radio waves, delivered via satellite signals, etc. These are forces that can be manipulated and controlled by those who understand their applications.

MIND: Music

| Music has always spoken to Vertigos soul. She has been a dancer and small time DJ since a young age. She finds that she is able to center herself and understand things when there is bass shaking her body and filling her ears. For her, the words of a song don't really matter, it is the soul of the rhythm. This usually applies specifically to music such as Electronica, Industrial, Techno, Dubstep, and other derivatives of those genres.

| The universe is literally made up of code, regardless of what dimension or state of being it may be in. Whether it be cells, DNA, atoms, or man made computer code, everything has a basic building block which must be put in specific orders to make things real. Vertigo sees these building blocks as interchangeable with one another as they are all the basic programming language of the universe.

| All dimensions and realities are built from the same source code, and are simply arranged in such a way that certain users are able to interact with only the parts of the program that they have been assigned. Through the use of the right devices and counter-code, Vertigo is able to access these other sectors, first by granting herself perception to them, and gradually leading her into the ability to effect them.

| By analyzing and storing information on the basic building blocks of organic matter, Vertigo is able to pinpoint, catalog, and one day alter the code of these living programs. The very uniqueness of each being from one another makes this task easier when the right information has been acquired.

TIME: Numerology (Pattern recognition and alteration)

| Time is linear and unchanging, a series of events that can be cataloged and recorded in perfect succession. All things are represented by numbers, and all numbers have meaning. Even changing a single number in a series or equation can change the outcome of the overall sum by an infinite degree. By learning to calculate, understand, and then ultimately change a single or multiple digits in the universal number sequence, the present, future, and possibly even past can not only be viewed, but eventually altered.

MATTER: Physical Science (Chemistry and Physics)

| The universe is made up of particles, all of which interact with each other in such ways to create every conceivable thing. Vertigo sees this in a similar light to utilizing an engine to create different games using the same basic pre-programmed framework. Not only can one use this basic universal engine to re-design the world in various ways, but with enough power one may even write new engines from scratch.
